Interesting. I like the class.

she's cool, and likes to talk about anything, makes the class interesting instead of just a bunch of boring reading. she's really strict on students coming prepared to class on time with the right materials and cares about her class.

she is the best...take her.

Nice prof. Care about her class and students. Just make sure you prepare for the class. She will help you out when you have troubles.

she is real cool, and explains everything with clarity, she doesn't like lazy people who are always late and forget assignments don't get on her bad side. definitely take her.

boring class, especially sat. class. but if u get A on the midterm..u don't have to take final. wrote 1 paper but she didnt want to grade it. For midterm just memorize the slides. easy

she's good. she said she didn't grade the paper because she didn;t want it to lower our overall grade. she was trying to help us get a better grade in the class. I thought the class was great. I enjoyed reading the plays the most.

Very nice professor, crystal clear powerpoints. If you do well on the midterm she will exempt you from the final. Everything is very clear and she likes to repeat herself for the idiots in the class. A must take!

this is the one class where i had to really use a textbook lol. really easy class, most of the stuff is from high school reading, provided you were in basic english classes. one essay, really easy, no tests except midterm and final, really easy if you study. is a little ants in the pants about punctuality and what you put on the paper.

Definitely a lot of work for a speech class. U have to practically memorize ur speeches, but truthfully, this course makes u a better public speaker. As someone who had no public speaking experience prior to this course, i now feel confident in speaking. She does come off as rude and arrogant but i really do believe that she has good intentions.

If you are the type of student to show up to class, listen, and complete all assignments, you will be fine in this course. The workload is heavy for a public speaking class, but it truly makes you a better speaker. Just follow all assignments and respect her, and you'll succeed in this class 100%

Very nice professor. Class is light, but we learn. It's a hybrid class and we do some work online and give the speeches in the classroom. I like her a lot. so do most of the class members

Just finished a class with this professor. She's great. Thought this was going to be a hard class, but it was not. She does make you work for your grade, but I learned a lot about public speaking from this class.

She met with a few of us outside of class. Helped us in how we could do better. Was there for ne when I was going through a rough period. She inspired me to think better of myself. The course is hard, but Im glad I had her.

Love this prof. Dedicated to her job and students. Never have a problem meeting with her after class. She told me she was kidding about the mahjong. What she really does is tutor an english as second language student. Its her service to St. Johns. No payment fo4 it.

I love Professor D'Andrea! Anyone who says she's difficult just isn't working hard. She is very clear about assignments and gives you the class schedule from the first day. Though my class was fully online, she did everything she could to make it fun, engaging, and productive. I would definitely take another class with her!

I have found this professor to listen to my concerns. We have worked well together and would recommend this class to anyone who is ready to work for a good grade.

Prof D is wonderful. The complaining students should fail. If I were grading their speeches I would give them a zero. They talk about her behind her back and dont want to do any work. I think she is a great teacher and would recommend anyone who wants to learn to take the course. My sister had her a few years ago and thought she was great too.

I think that she is fair. The course is sometimes difficult because it's public speaking, but i learned how to be a better public speaker because of her.

Prof. D'andrea was good. I got a B, which I deserved. I would have gotten a higher grade if I had finished some assignments. Some of those bad comments are really not fair. she does really good with a subject that some kids find hard.

Professor Joan M. D'Andrea is one of the best teachers I have had. She is a bit of a tough grader but if you carefully read the directions/assignments, you will do good in her class. Make sure know what your speeches are about because she doesn't let your read off any papers. She does care for her students and just wants them to excel in class.
