AMAZING, she is simply amazing. This is the only review you need there is no way she will get a bad one. All her lectures are very very clear, no power points she writes everything on the board, she's not boring, she's west helpful and 4 tests but only 3 are required, if you take notes and study there is no way you won't get an A, I love her!

Dr. P is super sweet. Her lecture notes are extremely clear. If you show up, listen to what she says, and pay attention to all of the notes, exactly as they are. You pass. You learn but it doesn't feel like learning and she is willing to meet with students if they need extra help.

I find it easy to take her class. Attend regularly, copy notes from board, and ask questions at the end. She is always willing to help! If you get As on the first 3 tests, you don't have to take final! She's a pretty nice teacher overall and wants the best for her students. Doesn't matter if you're majoring in psy or not, she makes lectures extremely fun! Encourages participation but isn't required. You should come to lecture because she doesn't provide ppt on BB. She's an amazing teacher at nova, Annadale. She gives you all of the information needed for your exam. Make sure you know your stuff though because you only have three exams and a final if you don't get an a on the first three exam. She's very nice and is willing to help you during her office hour.

If you have the option to take this class, do it! There is zero homework or assignments for this class, the only things graded are the four tests and if you pass the first three you can skip the final. Attendance doesnt count until the last like month and we were released early every other day. Overall, amazing professor and easy class.

Prof passino is AMAZING, at what she does. She makes all material relatiable and offers tons of points of extra crdit on exams, also there are NO papers!!! She is super aprochable and really wants her students to pass! Even tho going to class isnt mandatory, you miss alot of information if you dont go and wont do nearly as good on exams!

She is an amazing professor. I took her summer class 6weeks and it was definitely the best decision. There were only 4 tests which are mostly multiple choice but you do have to study if you wanna get a good grade. No homework except doing the study guide which she gave extra credit for.

Show up to class! Youre graded on 3/4 exams and thats it. Tests were long but had a 15 pt EC question at the end. She writes her notes on the board so as long as you have that you should be good for the test. Do the study guides too. Easy EC. She is really sweet and always had little tips and tricks for remembering terms.

I absolutely loved her class! I recently changed my major to psychology and having her as a professor made me love it even more. She gives great examples in class and always makes lectures interesting. EC is offered when you do study guides! Exams were pretty easy if you did the study guide. Transition well to online (Mostly PPT). 4 Exams drop the lowest, Around 10% extra credit on tests and doing the study guide gives another 1%. Notes are somewhat easy to follow, just remember to take notes/pic of the board (Doesn't Erase Notes on The Board Till The End) . No Homework, just tests. So you have to really study to get an A in the class.

Took Statistics for Psychology, she super nice! Teaches off ppt and textbook, super understanding with the current situation of this year. Gives hw every other class and goes over the hw for any questions the day its due. Just do the hw and listen and you will pass. I had no previous stat knowledge and I will be taking her again next semester.

If i could get the chance to retake the class i 100% would, to be honest i thought this class would be a pain in the butt, but to be honest, it was one of the best classes i have takes in all my life of being in school. Professor Passino is an extremely caring person who is very passionate about psychology. I took her for both research methodology and behavioral sci stats and it was an amazing choice. The class material can be hard - but she is very clear. For classes like this, you want to have a teacher like her who is willing to engage and answer questions.

Professor Passino is an absolute genius. Her class is pretty easy you're not even required to attend a class she is pretty chill about this if you watch recordings later on as long as you pass the tests. Her power points are easy to follow, but her tests are hard consisting of 3 essay questions and 40 MCQs with one bonus essay question. I RECOMMEND

Open book exams, kinda lengthy and a couple of written answers but if you listen to her lectures and do the study guide its an easy A!! Theres 4 exams and she only takes the top 3 grades to your final grade so if you do good on the first 3 you dont have to do on the last one!! Very caring and great lectures.

The only grades are pretty much tests, quizzes, and attendance, but the tests are not bad and all the quizzes are open notes. I would take her again.

Probably the best professor I have worked with. I took another psych class and my professor was bland, such a hard grader and never available. Professor P. was the best. Allows you to use handwritten notes on all tests and quizzes. Her lectures are clear and thorough. Response time, whenever I had a problem, was less than 24hr.

This course was perfectly formatted for students to learn the required material. By the end of the semester I realized how much I learned without being aware of it. She is a tough grader on papers, but just clarify what she wants and it gets easier. The only critique I have is that her communication outside of class wasn't that great.

Professor Passino has very informative PowerPoints and videos listed for each module. The quizzes and tests are open note! The class is graded solely on those quizzes and tests too so make sure to study and have notes ready. I also enjoyed learning about Psychology in general. :)

Super sweet professor! Really cares and knows about psychology. All her tests and quizzes are online and open note, plus (at least in my class) she took the lowest graded exam out. She only accepts 3 unexcused absences but it's easy to get in touch with her if you can't come into class.

There were 4 exams that were open notes but very long and also required short answers. Lectures were pretty intense but she was ready to explain things if needed. It was only graded by exams so if you did well enough and got enough points on the first 3 you didn't need to take the last exam. You also got points for completing study guides.

TAKE HER! Best NOVA teacher, in my opinion. Everything is open notes, and she uses a point system—495+ points guarantees an A. Just take good notes on the slides. Exams and quizzes are online with lockdown browser but no webcam. Also, DON'T buy the textbook—I didn't use it all semester, it's still in it's clear wrapping lol.

Dr. P is the best professor in the Psychology department at Nova. Her lectures cover everything that will be on the test and they are very easy. She gives you specific deadlines for each assigment that you need to complete on time or there will be a lots of point deductions so I would make sure to be on top of things. Love the class discussions!

Prof. Passino is a great and knowledgeable professor. Her lectures were fascinating, and the way she explained things made them really easy to understand. The course is exam-heavy but they are all open notes and if you pass three, the fourth one is optional. I've recommended her class to everyone who needs the credit.

The class is overall pretty good. My only complaint is that I feel like the professor could have given more specific instructions for assignments. That caused me to miss a couple points here and there, nothing major but it adds up of coarse. The lectures were easy as well as the work load. I recommend:)

I took Professor Passino for Psych 210. (idk why it doesn't show up as an option) She did one class lecture and then assigned homework on the material she taught. Then the other class was to go over homework, which is very helpful if you need to ask any questions for specifics. Exams were open note and she is the sweetest prof. highly recommend!

Professor was very patient and knowledgeable about psychology. Don't bother with the textbook; she relies on her presented notes and lectures for the tests. Dr. Passino is a passionate and caring professor who will do the most to help you understand psychology. She gives great lectures and helps you apply what's taught to the exams and real world scenerios. The only assignments you have aren't graded and you're really only graded based off open note quizzes and exams.
