Dr. Bedore was the nicest most accomadating professor I have ever had. You have a lot of fun doing in class activities with your group. I made a lot of really good friends because of her enthusiasm and open teaching style.

She is a REALLY great teacher...shes enthusiastic about her subject, and cares a lot about her students. keeps the class interesting and fun with her stories and the activities. if i could id take the class all over again just to have her as my teacher. really enjoyable class..

Best comm professor. PERIOD. If you take comm with any other professor, you're stupid. The activities you do in class really help get over anxiety of speaking infront of people, and get to know your classmates who become friends. NO OTHER CLASS does those activities to prepare you, you just end up giving speeches in front of a bunch of people.

Best COMM teacher. She puts in a lot of time to make the class special. Don't worry a lot over the written assignments as she lets you earn some of the points back if you correct. Plenty of extra credit (be the clerk in your groups for easy points). Felt pretty prepared for the tests. Above all, though, she truly takes an interest in her students.

Im so glad that I took her class. I had her at 7:00AM but Never fell asleep, ever. Easy class yet very helpful class that you will A LOT about life. Just take her if your curriculum requires one of communication classes

Well practiced with great teaching methods, & is perpetually optimistic. You will either 1)love her at first sight or 2) see through her motives immediately, but like her anyways. Bedore's class is a blast! You won't fall asleep and the information is actually useful. Attendance is mandatory, however everything is from the textbook (exams and assignments). So I guess for a gen ed communications class I would suggest taking her. But I found her to be annoying and conceited for the most part. Everyone takes her class way too seriously, including her, and I had trouble attending her class towards the end of the semester. If you have a high tolerance for extremely optimistic people at 9am take her.

Attendance is required but such an easy chill class that why not come. Dr. Bedore is an "okay" communications professor, but best one at GMU. She makes a very dry subject interesting, but this doesn't necessarily help the student out on exams! Sometimes I feel as if she wasn't teaching to the exam, and that really hindered me. Also, she grades pretty strictly, and sometimes illogically, especially in presentations.

Pretty clear with what is expected and very willing to help you get the best grade possible. One of the best professors at mason in my opinion. She uses personal stories to help you learn & remember the material. All in all she makes a boring subject a lot more enjoyable.

Very personable and friendly teacher. Does make boring material more interesting. However there are a TON of errors and a large lack of clarity in the handbook required for the course and the main assignments for the course. Was supposed to have been edited, but not that well. Written assignments are too structured and leave no room for creativity.

Probably the best professor at George Mason. Show a little effort and she's willing to work with you. Her class is a lot of fun and she makes a dull topic very interesting. Can't say anything bad about her.

Nice lady. Tries to keep class interested with stories(which are required for the exams to remember) of her life and relates them to COMM. One thing is though, she is tough, she wants a lot of stuff done her way or else. I would say fair, but hard grader.

I love Dr. B, she is full of energy and a very down to earth professor!!!! She is one of the best professors I have ever had!! I dreaded taking public speaking but she makes speaking easy and even when the material is boring she makes it interesting and fun with her stories!!! Easy A!! Take her!!! I promise you will love the class

She's very fun and helpful. The actual requirements for some assignments can be tedious, however, and often demand a lot of time.If you respect yourself and respect her though, and follow her directions very clearly, then you should definitely receive a good grade and some valuable insight to keep with you.Have an open mind and heart, and have fun!

Awesome professor. if you have to take this class don't take it with any one else. No matter how shy you are she will make you comfortable to come in front of people and talk with no problem at all. there are two paper and two graded presentations. if you will pat attention in class its an easy A.

Dr. Bedore is... Crazy. Literally all over the place. Tests, papers, projects, etc. are super easy. She fills class time with stories and activities. TAKE THIS TEACHER!

Dr. Bedore is great. I took her this semester and really enjoyed it. She is very positive and helpful. She responds to e-mails quickly and with a lot of help. I DEFINITELY recommend taking this class with Dr. Bedore. She has interesting stories, and it was a great way for me to start my morning in her class.

Class was never boring, plenty of stories to keep you interested, she clearly loves her job, and does a good job of getting nervous individuals over their fear of speaking in front of groups. Paper grading is kinda random, and gives examples of what NOT to do with the format rather than what will get you a good grade. Take her! You won't regret it

OMG Dr. Bedore is hands-down the best professor I've had in my entire academic career. She kept me engaged with her stories, helped with any confusion, and spiritually guided us to becoming better, more complete people. This class should be called LIFE 101, not Comm 101, since she teaches everybody the best life lessons that I'll carry forever.

Dr. B was great! Whenever anybody was confused with a concept, guidelines for a project, etc. she was very helpful! She's also funny and keeps a lively class atmosphere! :)

I had Dr. Bedore this past spring and she was by far one of the best teachers I've ever encountered. Her stories make the information easy to remember and interesting as well and she is just an all around great person, I absolutely loved her! Definitely a best professor at Mason hands down!

Dr. Bedore was probably the best teacher I had this semester. She really tries to help you out and is a lot easier than the other comm teachers from what I heard. She's also very funny and nice!

Comm 101 with Dr. Bedore was honestly an easy A. She is ALWAYS smiling even in the 9am class. The assignments are mostly straight out of the book, with detailed examples for the essays. You can simply copy the format for outlines/essays, so I don't see why anybody can't get an A. Overall an easy and enjoyable class.

Amazing the only class I took on a Friday morning and never hated a minute of it. She is a great professor and helps you no matter what the situation.

She's so energetic, you won't fall asleep even if you take her early in the morning. She isn't a hard grader, but she is strict about turning in all work and attendance. but other than that it's very chill and a good way to start the day. also summer 2013 is her last semester!
