Hilarious! Spech is a fun class and even more with her. Just don't get her angry by not following directions and for begging for extra points at the end of the semester. You shouldn't need to because she offers tons of points during the semester.

her speech class was one of my favorites. i'm glad i took her for speech because she made it more fun, and gave helpful criticism. she gives you the opportunity to get extra points that could help you skip a few speeches. also...only one take home test.

She's really nice and funny. I love her sense of humor and enjoyed her class very much. Even if you do poorly in your speeches, just do the extra credit and you'll pass with an A+. Don't judge her unless you have actually taken her because she's great.

Ms. Cataldo is hilarious! She made us really comfortable because she's genuine, but I think in turn it bit her "back" - we got kinda crazy w/ our jokes - she got embarrassed a few times. Love the hands-on assignment, learned a lot, built some courage on speaking in front of people, met some really cool people. Good class to take, you'll enjoy it.

I was very surprise with getting an A out of this class because I really didn't do anything. She gives lots of extra credit work to makeup speeches. Not really fond of the teacher. Yeah, sometimes she can be funny but most of the time she puts off an attitude and rudeness. Great class, not a good teacher.

OMG...wtf Mrs. Cataldo is the best shes so awesome you can relate to her when she tells the class her stories of her childhood. EXCELLENT TEACHER! OMG! This was my favorite class because she gets everyone to be so supportive to each other. Very good teacher and funny. She gives a ton of extra credit and it is easy to get an "A" in her class as long as you go to class. And whoever said she was rude well it was probably because you are ugly!!!!

Some people dislike her, but I personally thought it was a fun class. To get an A, you should do at least some of the extra credit--perferrable those lovely 100 points one. It's a great class if you keep a positive attitude about it. It's not the most easy ComSta1A class ever, but you learn a lot. It's up to you--your education or grade?

She is funny, easy, and gives lots of extra credit. Her teaching format makes if the funnest class of the day. Not hard to get an A in her class.

EASY A!! lots of extra credit, speeches are easy if you rehearse, textbook is useless, lectures are funny, great sense of humor. The Final was a potluck with lots of food!

Easiest teacher ever. Especially fun if you sit in the back and bring up conversations during someone elses speech, she just keeps on talking and talking forever. Beware if you see her on campus cuz she will not stop talking to you, and you'll probably be late to class.

Very Easy class. You never use the book. Only test is take home, as well as final. Show up to all classes and you don't have to do the last speech. Only 4 speeches, time not recorded. She is sarcastic and funny and did I say EASY. Stick with this class. Tons of extra credit. Easy to earn points. Not a thinking or time consuming class. Take it!

Must show up to class. It is easy to earn her respect, but when you do, you will get an A most likely. Do your work.

Cataldo is by far one of the best teachers on the Delta campus. She makes speech so easy and fun. My class grew together as a family. She doesn't require a lot. Just show up, do your outlines and speeches & try your best. She also gives examples for every speech type of speech. Awesome, awesome teacher. Every adores her.

Take comm st 001A with Cataldo only if all the other classes are full. She is extremely critical and rude. She thinks she's funny and sometimes criticises the beliefs of different ethnicities. Take her class only if you have no other option left...Trust me on this one!!!!

Great teacher, I found this class very helpful. I had taken speech numerous times befor her and I wish I would have taken her to begin with I would have passed a long time ago. She's funny, had me cracking up all semester. Extra credits can easily help you get nothing less than a B. I would suggest her to anyone who wants to pass.

I'm horrible with speeches! i truly hated going in front of the class and give @ speech...but Cataldo made it extremely easy for me and every other student to give a speech without getting nervous! ..i felt so confident in her class...shes so0O nice, super funny and helpful!..she gives lots of extra credit opportunities and there is no final in her

Mrs. Cataldo is an easy- going teacher. It is not hard to pass her class with the grade u want, if you are committed to getting it. If you want a good grade, do your work...if not, don't!Be careful with the speech topics that you pick for your speeches. Make sure it wouldn't offend her in any way..Because it can affect your grade for the speech.

Speech is definately difficult for some but as long as you keep trying to imrove, you should have no problems in this class. You have a speech every week or two, then a take home test, then you write a 1-2pg essay about what you learned. Sooo easy! Just dont read from your notecards!!

HECKA easy class. recommened highly. she knows how to teach and knows what she's doing. Very well organized. Go to class everyday and no final. the final is an imprompt speech, where you make a speech on top of your head. one thing is that she's kinda rude. sometimes she talks when you're trying to do your job. easy class though! take her!

I so tried to avoid taking speech class but this class was so fun I don't mind public speaking now and I'm a very shy person DO NOT buy the textbook you won't need it waste of money just buy the booklet she makes the colored one easy class you tell 5 jokes and commment on 5 speechs of your peers, there are 5 speechs total..EASY

Easy, Great Teacher. Give 5 Speeches, she grades very easy. One Test, 125 Points worth of extra Credit, which is worth like 1 speech. Class is worth 1,000 points. Final is "what I think i deserve in speech 1a" no homework. Would take for Speech 3 if i have time in the next two semesters. Could have got an A, but i MISSED A speech, got a B.

She's a fun woman, and really chatty. This class is easy and actually interesting. You get to know all the students in the class by the way it's all done. I had an easy A. You don't need to buy the textbook. Sometimes I felt like it was almost too easy of a class and therefore didn't learn as much as I could have.

She is a wonderful teacher just make sure not to get on her bad side. Make sure to attend class regularly especially when its time for speeches. If your not there you will get an F and can't make it up..that will hurt your grade..but Overall great teacher!!!

She tells a lot of interesting stories that relates to the stuff that she teaches about communication. You mostly do group presentations. You get to know all of your classmates (: Lots of extra credit is offered. Textbook isnt necessary. Over all, she's an amazing teacher! Shes funny! Just try not to say "um" she counts it out loud during class.

1) Don't buy textbook, just the instructor package. 2) Follow the instructions for the speeches and be confident in yourself. 3) show up on time Those are the only things you have to do for the A. She's a nice lady, but you have to be honest, up front, and respectful to her. Stand up for yourself, but do it RESPECTFULLY and you will be fine.

you have to do each speech. People say its an easy A. But if you do not do every speech. You will get a D. Some guy was between a D and a C because he did not do two speeches.

EASIEST CLASS IN THE WORLD. you really don't have to try in this class and you can get an A. 150 pts of extra credit offered throughout the semester, and speech topics are pretty simple. She grades them kind of hard, but you can make it up in extra credit. She talks SO SO, SO, SO, SO MUCH!! It is funny though. Cool professor. Kills time easily.

I absolutely LOVED her class! One of my favorite at Delta! Make sure you're always prepared for your speeches though & you'll be good to go! And you also dont need text book.. the only time you'll really need it is for the take home test, but id suggest just going to the library that day. It'll save you money!

I really like this instructor! She tells you exactly how she feels and is a straight shooter. You don't need the text book, so don't buy it! Just go to the library. She likes to talk a lot and gets a little off subject but you'll come to like her stories. I strongly suggest you take her if you need communications 1A. I took her over the summer.

I took this professor during the summer. She's a great teacher and pretty straight forward. She can get off topic sometimes, but she's hilarious. If you don't do well on your speeches, she gives away extra credits. Make sure you do all your speeches and come to class. SHE'S ONE OF THE BEST PROFESSOR I TOOK AT DELTA.

Professor Cataldo makes speech fun. You don't need to buy the textbook but you will need her instructional package. Follow the speech formats EXACTLY from her book & you will do well. Take this class accelerated because there's only time for 3 speeches. Go to class & don't leave early otherwise you will have to give an impromptu speech @ the end.

A very great class!! If you're someone that is very shy then I'd definitely recommend Cataldo! She would make you come out of your shell! Her way of teaching makes you interact with everyone In the class so it makes you less nervous during your speeches. I love Cataldo; she was hilarious and made the class so fun!

Cataldo gets off topic very easily so class is usually very disorganized. She can be sometimes rude or insensitive to other students, but not all the time. Her feedback and instructions are very clear. I'm not a speaker-type person but if you just practice your speeches multiple times, and you'll do just fine. She doesn't use the textbook either.

Took Cataldo twice she really cool and is there for you. She can go off topic but no big deal to me. She let me turn in my final early since I was expecting and I had missed the last day because I was hospitalized. She was cool with it.

Just take her, offers plenty of extra credit and speeches are a breeze.
