Really cool, and understanding! if you partipate in class you'll be hooked!, she loves to talk, she is really good. We had to write only 4 essays, and you get to pick your topic. She loves controversies issues so try to pick your topic on that side. Use her guidelines when writting final essay!!!

Great Teacher ! Although I don't like English, I loved her class. she teaches you how to write well organized research papers, that will help you in any class (Biology, business Etc) She likes controversial issues, and she allows you to espress your oppinions. I like her, she was my Enc 1101 and Enc 1102 professor and I did good in both courses.

A really great teacher that gives you many times to correct and improve your grade. You do have to do alot of research but that is no reason not to taker her because it helps you in the long run.

Great Teacher. When we had an essay, she would actually give us the format on how to write it. She also gave us many chances on re-doing our assignments so we could improve our grade. She also let the class re-do our mid-term essay in case we didn't do well. At the end of the term there was a research paper due. Shes a really sweet lady.

She's the best teacher in Miami Dade College!! She actually helps you with anything, like scholarships, transferring to a university, essays, research papers, etc. She's amazingly helpful and she's always available during office hours. To be completely honest, she's an overrall good professor.She's entertaing, a bit strange but in a funny way, loves youtube, you don't really fall asleep in her class and she's really nice.I haven't gotten higher than a B+ on anything...and I hardly go to her class and still do pretty good since she always lets u make things up.But goes off topic.

She is a great professor! You should consider taking her if you want an easy A+. I currently have her once a week and have missed a couple of classes and still manage to keep an A. She works with you and your schedule!

Good professor. I took her online, and she always responded to E-mails quickly. Also had lots of fun links. Tests aren't too hard, though they do cover a good amount of material. It is all clear what is covered on the test, so read what you need and you will get a good grade. Read more than what you need and you will get a good education.

Online course - I will admit that this particular online course was horribly disorganized and poorly designed (hopefully it has been redesigned by now). I did not find it that difficult (b/c I studied), but many students whined and complained that the midterm was too hard and the professor went our of her way to help and accommodate the students.

Awsome class, very helpful teacher. Class is not easy but as long as you study you will get a good grade. Take this class only if you have good study habits if not, dont!

Dr. Falcon-Leshin is a very dedicated professor, who is very understand about students are their needs. She is more of an open-discussion type of teacher and provide many intresting subjects for essays. We had 2 documented essays for our mid & finals, which is a pro. I really wanted to take her for ENC1102 but she was FULL.What does that tell you?

great professor very understanding not a lot of work, and the essays were very easy she helps you a lot and gives you plenty of chances to make up your work and to bring up your grade am gonna take her for enc1102 in the spring i would recommend everyone to take her easy A or B!

took her hum 1020 class online and was very helpful. responded to emails quickly the class itself was a hard. the postings were easy but the tests and midterm and final were hard but still managed to get a C. took her for hum1020 and enc1101 this past fall and passed both classes! great professor would take again in a heartbeat!

Superb professor. Exactly the sort to put a freshman straight out of high school at ease. Textbook assigned is one she took part in, and back when I took the class in late 2006. Insanely tolerant with regrds to work; she literally allowed me to re-use an essay I had written for a different class (with that professor's permission of course)

INCREDIBLE professor! SO helpful and grades fairly. She gives you a chance to increase your first grade on essays by editing them up to one full grade letter. So if you had a B, you could increase it to an A. She makes ENC1102 a breeze!

INCREDIBLE PROFESSOR. You will leave each class inspired to right all the wrongs in this world. She will open you eyes to new things, and you will grow. I took ENC 1101 & 1102 with her and got all A's, because she gives a fair amount of work, plenty of time to complete it, and she inspired me to WANT to impress her.

Ms. Falco was an engaging teacher. I truly enjoyed the required novel reading. It's easy to get an "A" if you follow her instruction and complete all her assignments. She was very kind and helpful.

She is extremely helpful and nice. She gives 5 essays for the whole semester and that is your homework. No tests. The last essay is a research paper. Don't freak out with the research paper. She gives everyone a B if you at least try and do what she asks.

She always replies to emails, she only gave us two papers to write and one proctored midterm essay. The rest are mostly quizzes and you do NEED both books for. But its a very easy class and I would recommend her to anyone with a very busy schedule such as myself.

She's great! I recommend her to everyone. She's amicable and always enthusiastic. Once she brought cookies and coffee for free and at the end of the core, she provided us tips and insights about life. She assigned four papers and two presentations. Our class did not take the final exam because she said she enjoyed our participation.

This class is very easy, it isn't boring either. Professor drifts way off topic, she loves to talk. She also has a lot of strong opinions on politics. She seems to teach her political opinion more than she realizes, even though it has nothing to do with her lecture. Don't buy her textbook or online code, you won't even use it once.

Great professor. If you miss a class, you don't miss much unless there's something due that day, but your grade does go down for attendance. Overall she's an easy grader and likes to talk a lot and tell lots of stories.

She is usually "fashionably" late, 15 minutes for sure, and let us go earlier. Yet, very taught grader but she help you out to achieve more. I got a B only because English is not my first language.

Amazing professor! Classes are relaxed, interesting, and thought-provoking. Expect to start late and leave early. But do not mistake this relaxed vibe as an easy-A. She expects properly written work and credible research. If you are not a good writer, seek her out after class for help, see a tutor, or get a new professor, because you won't do well.

SHE'S A GREAT PROF! She has very conservative opinions when she lectures in class and I was put off at first but I grew to like her over time. She shows up in class every day greeting students with enthusiasm. Essays were fairly easy and gave us lots of ideas during her lectures. Shes's caring, understanding, and easy to talk to. NO TESTS.

Choosing this professor for 1102 was the greatest decision i made thus far in college. Dr. Falco- Leshin lectures are quite interesting, and ties in with the the topics that she assigns you for your papers. She assigns 4 papers, a midterm, a presentation and sometimes quizzes. She may even give you EXTRA CREDIT for turning in your essay early.

Falco-Leshin is such an amazing professor. She is so caring and sweet and her lectures are never boring. She assigns 4 essays, a project, midterm, and final but all are easy. She often even gives extra credit for turning in your work early. Shes a total gem and I would definitely take her again if I could.

Professor Falco is great took her for a 6 wks course and I got an A. She explains everything and she make sure you understand. She's very nice and her lectures are very interesting. She's fair, caring, kind, and understanding. TAKE HER!!!

Taking Dr. Falco class was the best decision i made this far in my college career. Your writing will improve tremendously as well with your way of thinking. The topics she assign us to write about are social science related and a little bit of political issues that are going in our world today. I highly recommend students to take her class.

She is an amazing professor. We had four essays including the final, and an oral presentation as a part of the final. She is all over the place when it came to her lesson plans, so if you aren't able to multitask she may not be the professor for you. Overall though, she was thoughtful, engaging and the most interesting professor I've had thus far!
