I changed my major after noticing that she taught most of the online business classes. I felt like I had signed up for English Comp 3 rather than a Business class. She didn't want to hear anyone's opinion but her own, and was extremely condescending!

As others said, treats you like a child. Her opinion is the only right opinion. If you need someone to hold your hand and tell you how to think, take this class. Otherwise, pass. Comes off very snotty, seems to have some sort of superiority complex. Bottom line, bad attitute.

Terrible attitude. I had her 6 years ago and she was much better then. She hangs around with that Halsack guy and his evil influence seems to have rubbed off on her. AVOID.

Poor, at best. What is wrong with her, anyway? She's all over the place, spazzing out as if the world's going to end any moment. Convoluted. A good supply of valiums would help her immensely. Indignant and snotty. Treats everyone like a 3rd grader. Tests don't relate to book or class lectures. All her own opinion. I can do that much. F this.

Joann does not know how to teach students anything that is related to management concepts. Her ideas are not how the real business world works. When students ask questions or make comments about what goes in the company he/she is working for she is very rude. I don't where she got a her MBA to teach. She is just plain horrible. Horrible teacher! Took online class. Tests are impossible to pass. You get like 30 seconds per question. I don't even know where she comes up with some of the questions. Not helpful what-so-ever. I will NEVER take another class taught by her.

She is absolutely HORRIBLE!! I needed this class in order to graduate from my university on time, as I numerously stated to her. Ofcourse she didn't care. I repeaditly asked for help in order to pass to class but instead of helping she continued to recite the syllabus to me and failed me with a 69.3% She's non-caring, non-helpful, and just rude!!

Prof hunter does not adhere to her own guidelines for written assignments and discussion board . Your grade is based on her opinion of written assignments and not on textbook information. I unfortunately had her for 3 bus classes all were the same. She does not give enough time for tests and quizzes and incorporates several narrative answers.

Tests do not give enough time to complete as the narrative questions require depth of thought, example and several parts to the question that need to be addressed. She requires ridiculous amounts of work that focuses more on her opinion and your tolerance level of her redundancy and not the course material as it is applied in the profession.

The subject matter of this class is not hard to grasp, it is Professor Hunter's content. Its internet marketing. She loves to use the word "characteristic" but her definition of a characteristic is not that of webster's dictionary. I have solid A'sB's in every other course, and had good grades in my other institutions. This class will ruin you.

She is terrible, I mean terrible at answering questions. You ask her a question and she freaks out saying you didn't do your hw or pay attention, meanwhile she doesn't answers you question. Awful with material. Do yourself a favor and stay away from her class.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER!!! She doesn't answers questions that students may have. Her answer for everything is, YOU DID NOT DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Her test questions do not match material practiced and are very hard. She is not helpful or understanding at all. Yes, a book is mandatory.

She only grades well if you fall into her "style" in short answer test questions and writing pieces. I confirmed this by having my last paper proofed until there was no proofing to be done by a tutor, confirming that I answered all of her questions to the T. Even if you answer correctly she counts them wrong.

Awful online class. She gives you low scores on written assignments for no reason at all, yet does not use proper grammar. Her tests have nothing to do with the book and have more than one answer. No use studying because you get limited time to take tests and will fail even if you know all the material. I take mostly online classes and HAD a 4.0.

I just can't believe that this "professor" still had a job. She is ABSOLUTELY horrible. Example: I ask how I can get a better grade in her class and she responds "you need a success coach" . I think it's hilarious how just because her position at CCAC being some sort of head director she can treat her students like peasants and get away with it

Professor Hunter was a pain! Tests were easy but she had ridiculous grading criteria for essays. The only plus is she drops yours lowest essay score. Here's the trick, it has nothing to do with your quality of writing, she just wants to see you put LOTS of time. Email her a draft of your essay and let her critique, then ask lots of questions!

I'd rather eat razor blades than take this class again. The only good thing is that she makes it easy to contact her, even though her responses can be vague. Toughest grader I've ever seen, meanwhile I had an ACCOUNTANT review my work before it was submitted. Trips up students with dumb word play on tests & uses accounting terminology her own way.

Tough Grader, loves to act like an English professor when she doesn't teach it. Impossible to please. loves written assignments and will give you B's on them even when they're actually good. I've never gotten less than an A in any class but somehow I received a B in this one.

Did not teach me a single thing over the semester of this course. During the semester I had a death in the family, so I emailed her to ask if it would be possible for me to take a test, we had coming up, another time and she said no. Tests were also extremely hard, and her presentations/notes did not correlate with what is on the test.

(Online class) Horrible organization and structure. Near impossible to achieve 100% on any tests/quizzes. Gives zero feedback and poor responses when asked a question. Just one big mess with this one... Avoid if possible!

Not exactly sure what she does. She gives quiz's and writing assignments, but doesn't actually teach anything. It is an online class, but she structures it for students to fail. 25 minutes for a quick quiz isn't bad, but my computer froze during one and once the computer closed the quiz was graded. She also does not ask questions clearly. Not Good.

Ms. Hunter seems very content to collect her paycheck while students teach themselves a course. I dont want to complain too much since it is an online course. She does not post lectures, or even give her thoughts on the general topics. Its every man for themselves while she sits on her hands

Unhelpful and unwilling to do her job

After taking a look at her ratings, it sounds like she's only a tolerable instructor if it's in person and even then it's questionable. She is incredibly unhelpful, and her grading is inconsistent. Would heavily not recommend and I am not an individual who generally has issues with teachers.

Honestly the least helpful professor I have ever had the displeasure of having.

There are not enough negative buttons for this horrible professor. I have a Master's degree and have taken a ton of college courses. I wanted more knowledge in PR. By far the worst professor I've had at CCAC. Super difficult, gives inconsistent feedback, and her grading is wild. I'm on my 4th semester and have had 15 other professors. I'd never take a class of hers again.

She refused to allow me to take a test after I was in the hospital and provided the documentation because after seeing it was Magee Women's Hospital she said it looked like "just a women's problem and not a real problem." Somehow the dean did not care and suggested I withdraw from the class. She's a poor professor and and even worse human being.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. While I did get along with her, I would never willingly take her classes again. Her online class was as if I was taking two classes with the amount of work she would give. She does take off the lowest quiz grade and lowest writing assignment, timed quizzes with barely enough time to finish.

This is still the worst experience I've had with a professor, and I haven't had many good ones, outside of mech courses. Anytime someone upsets me, though, I think to myself, "Well... they're not Hunter!" I will cheer for the younger generations when she quits her torture & decides stop robbing the fine people of Pennsylvania and Allegheny county.

She doesnt give feedback, she doesnt provide explanations, she doesnt ever actually lecture on anything, and it seems she doesn't even actually read what you put in front of her. She is either not competent/not very intelligent or just flat out doesn't care. Probably all three if we're being honest. Stuck in her ways and unwilling to change. RETIRE
