Awesome teacher! Great motivator! Extremely knowledgeable! Their is more to this class than just speech!! You'll love it and feel good about yourself! She is not the easiest teacher, but you'll love the work and find it well worth while. Great teacher!!! Highly recommended!

Was easy but has a undisclosed way of grading and making the tests.Other than the tests, the speeches and group presentations were easy.

Dr. Bedore makes the class fun by having activities and whatnot. She's a VERY picky grader and her tests are pretty hard. This class isn't an easy ride as many other people who left comments on here made it seem. You definitely have to EARN your A!!!

Very good teacher and actually motivates you to become a better speaker through various activities and lessons throughout class. Fair grader, but Dr. Bedore is very clear on course expectations and when each assignment is due. Not easy, but worth the challange. Would definitely recommend!!!

If you're afraid of getting up infront of a crowd then you should take her and even if you're not you should still take her. Relaxed atmosphere and easy assignments. You will be assigned a group community project that seems sketch at first but ended up being a great way to make friends and have fun!

This semester was my 8th semester of college, and I can easily say I've never had a prof as fun as Dr Bedore, or any other teacher. Her class isn't too difficult, as long as you study for the tests and prepare for your speech.

Dr. Bedore sincerely cares about teaching. Her class is very different course with stories and lots of non-traditional activities. You still need to put in the time in order to receive a good grade. Minimal text book - mostly her activities. I highly recommend her class.

Possibly the best class you'll ever take. NOVA is really lucky to have her because she knows what she's doing. I signed up for the 6-week summer class to get an A and get out but I ended up learning so much, that too while having fun and playing games. If every teacher was like her, no one would hate studying.

Dr. Bedore is the best at what she does. I gained so much confidence after her class. One of the classes where I also made a lot of friends. Her class was very interesting, the stories were great. If you are scared of public speaking, this is the class you MUST take!!! Thank you Dr. Bedore

Best teacher ever! do not listen critics about her because whatever she makes you do worth it in any kind of way. You will learn and enjoy the class more than you thought you would. I cannot thank her enough for her awesome class. She's exceptional so take her without thinking. You won't regret it i assure you!

I had so much trouble speaking in public before I took her class and after 6 weeks with her I feel MUCH more confident. Our class had 3 speeches, which were pretty easy topics. She grades very fairly and will tell you exactly what she's looking for on both speeches and tests. It's not a difficult class as long as you prepare.

Dr. Bedore is a master teaching. Every activity is aimed at helping you learn to relate to the rest of the class and look them 'in the eye and get up and give presentations. She's loads of fun, and very nice. Tests are hard but fair. Really helps you nail down how to outline a paper or speech. A great teacher!

LOVED HER AND THE CLASS!!!! Dr. Bedore is a fantastic teacher; she makes this communication class a lot of fun. This class becomes one that you look forward to attending. Dr. Bedore was challenging and fair. She was inicredibly good at making the class a "family". The exercises were unconventional and very effective. I was amazed at how much I learned in such a short period.

Dr.B is a very helpful teacher and if you are a kind of person who is scared of public speaking she can help you a lot as i was very scared myself before taking her class. She doesn't grade the speeches very hard but her exams are hard, you have to study to be able to pass them. She explains everything by relating it to her stories.

She is a great professor. I can assure you that you will never regret taking her. Her exams are kind of hard; nevertheless, her class is very enjoyable because she will tell you tons of good stories.

I LOVE HER!! She is AMAZING I look forward to attending her class every thursday and I never fall asleep in her class. No matter the teacher I always sleep, but she is entertaining throughout the entire 3 hours. Honestly there are days I wish her classes would be longer.I am so fortunate to have her as my speak teacher.

Dr.Bedore is the best teacher out there. Her class was fun and her stories went with what we were talking about. She really does help you improve your communication skills but also helps you with relationships and other things. I love her class it was easy but you do need to study for the test though and prepare for the 3 speeches you have.

Turns your classmates into a family, therefore making speeches a piece of cake. I feel like every TEACHER should have to take her course to learn how to teach. She is the most precious asset to NOVA. Dr. Bedore is AMAZING. I ALWAYS say how he reminds me of Ellen DeGeneres lol. She's helpful, has crazy funny stories to tell, and makes giving speeches easy and outgoing. Make sure you show up ON TIME and pay attention to the stories and you'll do just fine.

Dr. B is the best professor EVER. She's a very nice and loving person and makes the class FUN, EASY and feel like a FAMILY. There are 3 speeches, a midterm, and a final you must do to pass. I didn't study or practice much and I got a B easily. She's one of the top 25 professors in the NATION. I'ts true. Take her. You won't regret it.

This Dr. Bedore's last class! You will have to put effort into your speeches to get a good grade in them. Midterm/final are easy if you study the page she gives which highlights what to study (just study that!). Other assignments are very easy! the only hard thing are 3 speeches, BUT praticing for 1 or 2 hours can easily get you an A. I got an A!

Dr. Bedore is whatever is BEYOND AWESOME. I loved her class, and you are bound to improve! Her stories are AWESOME, loved her attitude, and she constantly reminded me of Ellen Degeneres! I would highly recommend students take her class, everything you pay for will be totally worth it in the end! :D

I am honestly going to miss having Dr. Bedore in my life because she truly has the most infectious personality ever. Moreover, I watched firsthand as other students in the class (myself included) improved drastically as speakers towards the end of the class. She knows what she's doing, and she's good at it. Wish her the best outside of teaching.

After taking her class, I can say with certainty, that I am a much better public speaker! The concepts were somewhat difficult to comprehend on my own, but Dr. Bedore explained them in easy to understand context and my communication skills have vastly improved in all aspects of my life! She is awesome and gave more than I could have ever expected!

Dr. Bedore’s six week CST110 class was the most rewarding I have ever taken. Dr. B was really fantastic in the way she was able to deliver a truly excellent learning experience in such a short time, keeping the entire class energized and engaged throughout. Dr. Bedore was by far the most inspirational teacher I have EVER had. She taught me things I know I will continue to use for the rest of my life.
