Professor Cho is awesome with using multi-media and incorporates different fields of study into history (such an English and philosophy).

Dr. Cho is one of the best history professors. Our class had great activities and readings, and Cho is a totally fair grader. She made history interesting and relevant. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. Great use of media, such as film.

Professor Cho is a great choice for history majors. she makes her assignments challenging and thought provoking, but good grades are still easily obtainable. I really learned a lot in her class.

The professor is a good one, the readings and text simultaneously apply to the work she gives, and although the course load is heavy as far as work is concerned, she seems to be a little unorganized, not sure why, but thats really my only beef.

She is hard to understand, difficult work load, but I learned a ton. Take her if you want to learn something for once.

Great Class!! She knows her stuff and enjoys teaching it. Her accent is not that hard to understand. She throws a lot of information at you, but keep up with the readings and you're fine. I'd take her again.

This was a great class. She knows a lot about the subject and you'll learn a lot. There's quite a bit of work but it's not that bad. I never had any problems understanding her and she always answered my emails so I don't know what everyone is talking about. I'd definately take her classes again.

She is one of the best history professors this school has. The course work was hard and very demanding but you learn a ton which is the most important thing. She is very helpful and fair.

Professor Cho is one of the best professors that I have ever taken. I can't even imagine anyone posting bad things. Her classes are interesting and she really knows her stuff. I never had a problem reaching her outside of class. She was always very helpful and willing to help. The class is for those who want to learn. A++

Anyone who writes a negative about this lady is crazy! Yes, she is on the tougher side but your here to learn and learn is what you do in any of her classes. My hat goes off to Prof. Cho...Loves what she teaches and is extremely fair. German history was not my strong point going in and now I feel like an expert...take her and learn something!

Best Professor!

I had her for Hitler and Nazi era class. She gave great information and background on the subject. She can be very hard to understand, so get a seat in the front. Be in class and participate every now and then, you'll be ok.

She is a nice lady, not always clear with her assignment but is willing to give you more time to complete them. Basically, you just have to do the work and you'll do fine. There's not a lot of thought involved in her class. Just do what she asks of you and you will be fine.

don't listen to what you've heard, HERE'S THE TRUTH. history is not by subject and this time i actually got it. yes she has an accent but unless you are a moron, you'll do fine. she is overwhelmingy nice and funny, the class is not boring. 10 quizes, best 6 are counted, very easy midterms n finals, she gives the essays. overall a wonderful lady.

Dr. Cho knows her stuff - had her for Hitler & The Nazi Era...the books she uses are interesting and you learn alot. You must read everything in order to pass the quizzes and final. Be prepared to write, but she helps you along the way. She is fair in every way.

I took her on-line for an upper level history seminar on Nazi Germany. I found that she was a good teacher and was very helpful. She assigns a lot of readings and there are quizzes on the readings. We had to do two book reviews(3-4 pgs) and an 12 page research paper. I would recommend her if you are a serious history student.

she has an accent and that may lose you a bit but overall a good teacher. she believes that studying is very important and emphasizes it. she does give u quizzes mainly on the source book. Read!!! it does help u. Paper were easy and shes not a bad grader. very energetic person.

She wasn't as bad as I originally thought. Never did the readings, but they do give you a better understanding. I took her online class. Let me just say your time is dedicated to tht class if you want to pass. But if you dont understand something she has no problem explaining whats going on. I didnt get my A but i passed with a B. I never met her but she seems really cool and knows her stuff. Only take the online class if your on top of your school work

It is a little hard to understand her because of her accent but other than that no one should have any complaints. She is extremely knowledgeable and can hold a class' attention. As long as you pay attention the little work she gives you should be pretty easy.

I took her online class for a 3 week course. After reviewing the 4 pages syllabus i tried to drop the class but would have lost 50% of my tuition. My advice is to read the syllabus twice at first appearance it's not as bad as it looks. Overall not a bad class but you have to do the reading and stay focus.

Took her class online, was a bit worried about the amount of work expected, however, it was easy. Quiz each day based on readings and movies. If you keep up, you will do fine. I got an "A".

There is a research paper, but it can be on almost any related topic. You will have to work hard for your grade but you will learn a lot.

Professor Cho utilizes many types of teaching materials - books, movies, news footage, etc which brings this era of history to life. Her knowledge of Hitler is excellent. She is tough but you will learn everything you ever wanted to know about the history of the Nazis and the persecution of millions of people.

I took her class online. There is a lot of work for a gen ed class but it is worth it. I learned a lot. She is very clear in what she wants and answers emails quickly. Not an easy a but still a great class.

I was really excited to take this class. I am very interested in the subject matter. If I could change one thing i wouldn't take it in the winter and definitely not online. Gives a research paper and tons of assignments which in my opinion were too much for such a short amount of time. I worked really hard and found myself spending a lot of time.

Prof Cho answers emails back pretty quickly and you can always give her a call during office hours. Her syllabus is very organized with two discussions and a very short quiz a week but grades best 4 out of 5 for example. Theres more assignments but overall a good class. If your into the subject and don't mind the workload you'll like this class.

Dr. Cho is absolutely fantastic. Her methodology may seem off but youll realize at the end of the semester you learned so much. There are 4 books and theyre cheap. There are book quizzes on BB, theres two exams (one she made take home,) 2 presentations, and an 8 page paper. Extra credit like CRAZY!

I had Dr. Cho for Master's capstone and Nazi Germany. Very knowledgeable about WWII. Classes can be difficult at times but she is willing to help if you ask. As an added bonus, you will also not go hungry in her class!

I had Prof. Cho for two classes, HIST3490 and HIST4800. If I'm being completely honest when I first had her I wasn't her biggest fan, but by the end of my first semester with her I had to take another one of her classes. If you do your best work, show up to class, and participate you're assured to do well. Also if she offers extra credit DO IT!

Overall was a great class and Professor provides all the material needed online. Clear instructions on assignments. You will have 3 essays, 3 discussion boards, movie quizzes, & reading quizzes.
