She's a very cool teacher. Her lectures are always funny, which makes the course that much easier. Her exams are extremely straight forward and easy. I recommend Dr. Kerr for Human Anatomy 100%.

Dr. Kerr is an awesome teacher. She is very knowledgeable in what she is lecturing about. If you can, get her as your lab instructor too. her lectures are really interesting and funny. no final! but study hard for the 4 sets of midterms.

She was a great instructor and gave good lectures, but don't expect her to respond well to academic discussion. One of her pathologies was extremely outdated (I should know, I have the disease) and when I tried to talk to her she wouldnt listen and got really pissed. I gave her some articles and she lost the argument, but still didnt change it!

4 Midterms for Lab and 4 midterms for Lec; all are 50 questions each,multiple choice. No final! Buy her lecture notes at the bookstore and the coloring atlas. You don't really need to buy the textbook. I studied off the lec notes and lab manuel and I'm getting an A-. Her Lec exams aren't that hard, just show up to lecture daily and you'll do fine.

This class is mainly all about memorization. Just buy the coloring book you dont need the other book. Everythings pretty simple make sure you study the examples in lab and study her lecture notes.

Great lecturer, I had Kew for lab. She makes the class interesting and is a super fair tester and grader. She is a little intimidating and hard to approach during lecture, but will always give you an answer. Tells funny stories during lecture and actually makes it fun.

I loved this class. So easy! Only 4 tests all semester & NO final. She lays everything out so you need minimal outside studying if you pay attention in class!

Do I have to say? She teaches for kindergardeners! Her tests are so straighfoward that you can do them while asleep. Please take her. Nothing tricky. Take both her lab and lecture if u can. That lab is so short that i don't even have to come. Just read off her lab book. I got an A for not studying.

Was scared about anatomy before I took her class, but she is fun and she is easy! Get the lecture outlines and the coloring book, don't bother with the textbook. This class was challenging for me, but then again I forgot to study for two midterms until the night before. I suggest that you study as you go along, the tests will be much easier that way. She doesn't take questions during lectures so don't bother raising your hand. If you study hard and pay attention, you'll be fine in this class.

She teaches well; just don't attempt to make conversation. Class is easy, though. Take a laptop to lecture and copy all the BS facts, etc and cram for lab tests with the manual. I suggest going to class as much as possible; you'll put in a lot less work later, since she basically force-feeds you the info. Easy A, imo.

Dr. Kerr is a wonderful teacher. Buy her lecture notes (like $5 @ bookstore) and you'll ace the tests. All tests are multiple choice/matching which makes studying less stressful. Took anatomy because I heard so many interestign things about it. I am greatful I got Dr. Kerr. She makes lectures and lab very fun and interesting. Tests are simple and straight forward. Dr. Kerr will keep you inspired, especially if you're going into a career involved with medicine or health. She relates her teachings with interesting stories. Her exams are easy, if you study from the lecture notes and go to class. The lab exams are a bit more difficult: study the models, draw the slides, and refer to HER coloring book.Got an A.

Lectures quick, but keeps you entertained with funny stories, comments, etc. She also gives off this "crazy scientist" vibe, which is pretty funny. This is an extremely easy class. Just attend regularly and it'll be a breeze. I would probably stay away from talking to her personally, however; she seems to always be irritated when asked questions.

Bio 65 was the MOST USEFUL and MOST INTERESTING class that I've ever taken at SJSU!! Dr. Kerr is FRIENDLY, CRYSTAL CLEAR with her lectures and labs, always provides an OUTLINE, ANSWERS QUESTIONS marvelously, and for those haters and unmotivated students out there who don't appreciate Dr. Kerr, they simply never took the time to learn the material.

I went into this class thinking I was going to fail because of how overwhelming the first week of this class was but it got easier and if you study everyday and keep up with the material, you can get an A pretty easily. Her tests are not hard if you have studied, the class in general is all very straight forward.

NO Anatomy is NOT simply "EASY." You need to STUDY your ass off if you want a solid A in this course, NOT no A-, B+, B, B- etc. Attend labs and lectures. Be consistent. The first weeks, she will give you a sh*t load of information. She is approachable after she is done lecturing and wants you to succeed. I respect those that got an A as well.

GO TO CLASS! She puts almost everything on the tests! Study by topic, relate the lecture notes to the information from the labs. ALWAYS stay until the very end of the labs because you get a lot more insight into what will be on the tests. Study as she gives you the information, don't wait until the week before the test to study.

Professor Kerr is great, but be sure to put in the time to study the material on a weekly basis. This will ensure you for success during exams. Read, label, and study the coloring atlas book she provides and gloss over your lecture notes a couple of days before the exam. Focus on the coloring atlas for the most part though! I got an A :)

It's not an understatement when everyone says that if you skip class you won't pass. Get ALL the notes from a friend if u absolutely must miss but otherwise try not to. Get the lecture book!!! Her tests are straightforward and she hints on what's going to be on the tests so attendance is mandatory. Take time to visit her in office hours and also to study the content.

She is a really great professor. She has a passion for anatomy and you can see it in her teaching. Her lectures are clear, the material is interesting, and she makes a late afternoon class actually fun to attend. She isn't threatening at all and loves to answer students' questions. Would recommend her to anyone, you won't regret taking her.

Not a tough class, but you do need to study. Tests are simple if you study. You need the coloring Atlas and the class notes, unless you want to take notes of everything in lec yourself, everything else I would not bother bc its not that necessary since all the info is available on the net and its not an intense course. I got a solid A.

Very insightful. Get the course outline and atlas, be prepared to ask questions(she gives great and clear explanations), and show up.

This class is incredibly straight forward. Just use the coloring atlas. You don't really need the book because she tells you everything you need to know. The lecture booklet is somewhat helpful but not necessary. Go to lecture and lab and you'll do well.

She's extremely enthusiastic! Her lectures are funny and interesting but extremely fast paced. Your grade is based entirely on tests; there's no hw. Everything is straightforward & she hints at what you need to know for the tests. She's always approachable/helpful and loves to engage in conversation. I would definitely take her class again!

Okay, so... except for exam #3, the rest of the exams were pretty easy. I easily got A's on them. Kerr is willing to help students, although she does get snappy very rarely. I liked taking her class, her lectures and labs were quite long, but they were clear. She uses a lot of humor and repeats a lot of things to grab the students' attention.

If this class isn't needed of your major, don't take it. It's fun and interesting stuff but just requires a lot of dedication to study. It's listed as a class for GEs, but there are easier science classes to fulfill this area just sayin'. If you study, and put effort you should pass though. Buy the Atlas and Kerr's outline!

Dr. Kerr was AMAZING! She always keeps her lectures interesting with cool pathologies, picture slideshows, and random, contagious laughter. As a Molecular Biology major, the class was not hard as long as you take some time every weekend to review. There was 4 lecture exams and 4 lab exams - all multiple choice. Buy the ATLAS and color it!

She is a phenomenal teacher! I thoroughly enjoyed her class, even though it was quite difficult. There's a lot of material to cover a such a short time, you only spend one lab/one lecture on a specific topic. Didn't use the book, but the coloring atlas and Kerry's note outline available in the book store are must haves if you want to do well.

Dr. Kerr is amazing during her lectures. She is quite funny, and she is very well educated in the field of anatomy. Her class has A LOT of material to cover within a short time but if you take extensive notes, study daily, and go to class, you'll at least end up with a B. She's a great professor!

Awesome professor! The class really wasn't all that difficult. I never used the textbook, however, I relied heavily on the coloring atlas. I missed a couple labs and lectures and I was fine, but don't miss a lot because you will miss a lot of important information that will be on exams. Overall, highly suggest taking Dr. Kerr for lab and lecture.

Shes a great professor, she knows what shes talking about and she enjoys the subject she teaches. At first she may seem intimidating but shes very sweet and is always looking to help out her students. you can miss a few lectures and youll still be fine but do not miss a lab. lab exams are straight from atlas, if u study the atlas youll do fine

She always explained the material very well and was hilarious! BUY HER OUTLINE NOTES! Designates only one lecture per topic. The class consists of 8 total tests that make up 800 points. No homework. 4 lab exams and 4 lecture exams each multiple choice, 50 questions, 100 points. Color the Atlas for lab exams. Everyone gets completely different exams

Dr. Kerr is a lively person. She cracks a lot of jokes and makes her lectures very easy to understand. Remember to buy her atlas coloring book and her lecture outline, it helps a lot! Your grade is based on a total of 4 exams, so study hard!

Dr. Kerr is super funny and her lectures are interesting. Everything about her class is straight forward, she tells you what will be on the exams. The lecture outline is helpful as it covers everything that will be on the exam. Make sure to study!

You have to attend lecture and Lab this is a hard class but she teaches it well. She is good at her job, just the course itself is hard and you are graded only on the 4 exams that are given. If you fail one you will not do well.

Dr. Kerr was great lecturer but can be imitating personally suddenly. As long as you pay attention to what she say and study the note guide you should do fairly well. Gives you many things to help you succeed in class. Never even opened the book, was still in plastic wrapper

Prof teaches everything you need to know and does it in a very interesting way that makes you want to pay attention. She wants to help all of us pass because the subject is hard. She's a really great lecturer and I think having a good lab instructor will help you out alot. Make sure to rec lecs so you can listen back to it!

Upon first meeting Dr. Kerr, she can seem a bit intense or overwhelming-but she is just super passionate about what she teaches. Her passion and enthusiasm really make the class, as well as her humor. She wants everyone to do well and is very receptive to ANY question you could think of. She explains everything in depth during lecture, so go!!

You are only being graded by the exams. Theres 4 for lecture and 4 for lab. If you show up to the lecture and lab and study your notes, you should do just fine in this class! Ask questions when youre confused!

One of the best professors I've ever had. Dr. Kerr is engaging and makes difficult subject matter a lot more easy to take in. 4 lecture exams, 4 lab exams. That's your grade. Make friends to study with and drill the lab bits, take notes in lecture and listen when she tells you something WILL be on the exam. Doesn't take attendance, but show up.

Kerr is my favorite professor Ive ever had. Her lectures were amazing and helped me understand a tough subject. Id suggest taking LOTS of notes during her lectures. If you study the lab book and stay on top of things, exams will be a breeze.
