Difficult grader, but very good professor.
Great prof. Learn a lot. Tests can be tough, but not bad if you pay attention.
Exams are difficult, but I learned a lot from her.
She is very interesting and energetic, however her tests can be extreemly diffic
Energetic and full of corny jokes. Exams got harder throughout semester
Quizzes=Breeze Exams=Complete opposite. It's rather aggrevating. Not easy.
almost too energetic, study hard, quizzes tricky
an outragously demanding prof. WAY too much detail for a gen ed. HARD tests.
too much. class was a little too hard. very spunky teacher
great teacher..always willing to help...but u have to work for your grade
Very nice and helpful, good test grades=follow study reviews and KNOW info
Hyper, likes to hear herself talk!!-da Material... I learned in elementary EASY..
Lectures can be a bit unorganized. Tough grader for an intro course. Very nice
Very nice lady and willing to help. Must study and KNOW material to do good.
Wonderful, helpful teacher. Seems to love her job, and is enthusiastic.
She was a great teacher, yet her tests were more of applying what you knew.
interesting lady, funny, easy to understand notes, go to class, ask questions
Her class is tainted by her teaching of theories that are bad science.
Fun class, not boring
i loved this class! She is a great prof to have, very helpful and friendly.
Tests were tough but lecture was entertaining. good class
Great teacher, covers too much info for tests, lots of work w/ class & lab
Energetic teacher, Very helpful, but no pushover, must work for good grades
great prof, very helpful and wants to see students succed, but tests are tough
I wish I had her energy. Great class. I'd take it again.
One of the best at GVSU. Must spend xtra hrs. @ zoo. Proj. hard if not BIO major
She is a great teacher. She wants you to do well.
tough class, she makes it almost enjoyable
I wish every professor was this serious and energetic about learning
Jodee is GREAT! One of the best profs I've ever had @ GV. Learn a lot, have fun

Fun teacher but very hard test! Class can be very boring so be ready to sleep

Very good teacher. Kept my attention all throught the year
very interesting, she is a great teacher, just HARD tests!
Very energentic, great prof. go to class take a few notes you'll be fine
Great prof! Very energetic! Take good notes and read the book. Easy class!!
Great teacher but untakable classes. studying doesn't even help..good luck..
Very enthusiastic. Study Hard! Tons of fun. Definetly take a class from her!
VERY HARD TEST even if you go to class and study the book for hours!
She makes this topic very interesting, test can be tricky, take good notes!!
tests cover book and lecture, so study hard. always willing to help and loves questions
Grades ecology labs VERY hard. Not too approachable. Lots of energy and knows her stuff.
She is always there to help you. She is the best professor I have ever had. She is so nice and energenic and actually cares about you and how you are doing in the class. Take her. Its worth it.
Not helpful, didn't do a good job clarifying what she wanted in a paper, or any assignment. I don't recommend her.
Nice lady but when you get her quizzes and exams you will have met the DEVIL herself. Hardest quizzes and tests EVER! Also if your hoping to learn about the environment, dont take this class! It's titled Environmental Science and is more like a Bio class.
THIS CLASS WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! NO HELP AT ALL
Dr. Hunt was an awesome teacher. The class is hard, but if you are lazy enough not to do the work you should leave college. This class was awesome and so was Dr. Hunt. She is very nice and approachable.
Dr. Hunt is the BEST professor I've had so far! She gives hard tests, but you'll do fine if you look through your notes and study! She will do anything in her power to make you understand the material. The one professor that is there for YOU not herself!
Very bad prof., wired like the taco-bell dog, real jumpy and sparky. Her tests are next to impossible unless you memorize all the material. Literally!!!!take at your own risk, youve been warned!!!! Ha HA hA
Think you learn a lot in class? Tests seem to show otherwise. She is the only one allowed to be funny. Not very accomadating to stdnts with learning problems or in need alt. testing. Get on her good side, it may benefit you. Schizo? Maybe. Still,
Jodie is an awesome professor! She's funny and upbeat, even in the morning, and can really get you interested in things! She's very respectful of students and is very easy to talk to about anything, not even class related :)
Lectures weren't too bad...but exams and quizes were the worst. Makes you memorize the little details that you will never use again. i felt like i was in a history class not bio. Avoid her at all costs
This was the most boring class I have taken at GVSU. She lectures like she is talking to four year olds and her tests are insane. Actually makes you remeber the most nit picky thing out of your notes. Aviod this woman and this class if possible.
Very enthusiastic; makes things stick in your mind; very nice and helpful; great notes and outlines during lectures
Good teacher, but test and quizzes are very very hard (no matter how long you study, you will still question your grade)
Prof. Hunt is horrible. Her tests/quizes are next to impossible. You can study for hours on end, but dont expect to pass. She doesnt accomodate well with dissabilities at all.. SHE SUCKS ROYALLY
Easy Gen-Ed course with open note tests. Grade is only based on 3 tests and 2 assignments, though. She is a crazy lady... in a good way.
Great Teacher! My favorite so far through college. Learned a lot about the env't. Always excited about the subject and keeps you awake. Hard tests but just study what the review sheet says and it isn't so bad.
she was the worst prof i've ever had! test are way too hard. don't waste your time with this class
This prof was great! She opened my eyes to a lot of things I didnt pay attention to before. In fact I switched majors to bio after taking this class. Shes pretty funny and crazy but the tests are hard. Look on the study guide to make sure you are reading all the material. Take LOTS of notes.
Extremely nice and helpful, but VERY hard exams. Don't let the open note/open book fool you. Goes over a LOT in each class, so if you miss a day you're lost. Make sure to read all the assignments and attend class and you'll be fine.
GREAT PROF!!! Very helpful in everything. Very knowledgable and will sit down to help when you ask. Hard on test and papers, but that will make you a better student.
Halarious! I almost never go to that class except to get my homework and for the exams (which seriously are not hard if you read through the book from the study sheet) But, overall very good professor. Take her if you can, she is very fun and energetic, and gets you interested...and I dont really even like Bio!
Very fun! When she sees the class is getting tired she'll try to perk them up with a story (ask about barnicles). Harder tests but worth it for the class, great proff.
She asked for the chili pepper, and gets it from me. HAHAHA. She is fun, hard test, pretty intresting subject.
energetic prof. kinda goofy. some stuff is interesting. lectures every class for the hole time. take good notes. tests are tough. make sure to use the studyguides. (study guides aree very extensive!) stickler on hw assignments. not the wost class ive ever had.
Really energetic and fun teacher! She is hilarious and there is never a dull moment in her class. Tests are difficult and require alot of time devoted to studying and reading the book. You will learn a lot from taking her.
Wow...this was a great learning experience. She is energetic, intelligent, and committed.
Very energetic, and funny professor. She makes her class challenging, but you will learn alot. She provides study guides that are very close to whats on the tests. Also shes from California!!
This was a theme class for me,and I LOVED it.Jodee is a great prof. who makes class very fun and enjoyable.Tests are VERY hard, don't be fooled by the open book/notes.DO THE READING!Try not to miss any classes because she covers a lot each session & it's hard to catch up if you miss. Also, you have 2 assignments where you have to go to the zoo..easy.
Although this was a pretty hard class with few assignments worth lots of points, which made things a little more stressful, Dr. Hunt was great and kept me motivated through every 1 hour 15 min. class. I think she really enjoys what she does and helps the students enjoy it just as much even if you're not that interested in Environmental Science
Best professor ever! She loves her work, is hilarious, and very helpful. Loves to talk, and holds intelligent conversations in class and out. Keeps class on target and you will learn an amazing amount of information. Tests are LONG, demanding, and you actually are forced to think rather that regurgitate information. Take even if you don't need to!
Jodee's class consists of 3 quizzes and 3 exams with LOTS of notes in between. Studying for the tests is pretty rediculous beccause you have to know EVERYTHING we talked about in class at an in-depth level. She sometimes takes a while to get things back to you too. For the most part she's a good prof, and a very nice lady. Interesting class.
I loved Jodee. She is very fun. Lectures were very interesting. Your grade is based on three open book/note exams (don't be deceived by this the exams are all essay, so you will still need to study a lot), and two papers about observations at the zoo. I highly recommend her and this course- especially for people with Theme 1.
Jodee is an awesome instructor. She loves to teach and it definitely shows. There are 3 open-note, open-book essay exams. Don't be deceived by this...they are difficult and you will get writer's cramp before your hour and fifteen minutes is up. I took this class for my theme and really enjoyed it even though I didn't do so good on the exams.
My favorite professor in the bio department, hands down (and believe me, I've had a lot of them...) Had her for Evolution of Social Behavior. Tons of notes and reading, three open book/note tests and one observation-based paper. Requires a lot of work but she is so entertaining and so much fun to talk to outside of the classroom. Wonderful!
One of the most caring professors you will ever take, hands down. She responds to every querry promptly and will write you emails longer than you believed possible. Very fun in the class and able to admit ignorance. Oh, she is very challenging. Tests are very hard and challenging. Don't be fooled by the open note exams!!!
Disappointing. She sped through each lecture like it was a race to the finish. Would have been amazingly interesting if there had been more discussion(I enjoyed the assigned readings a lot). She says she encourages disc. and questions, but she just doesn't stop to breathe. I think she loves to hear herself speak. My grade was good, prof. wasn't.
Exams are excruciating and note-taking is like no other course I've taken. Exams are essays consisting of 3 questions; each including many diffent related topics from assigned readings and notes. You write as fast as you can and there isn't enough time or room on the pages to include all that she wants, let alone think about what she wants...
Destroyer of GPAs! Her exams are ridiculous! You give 110% and she still flunks you. Yeah, she's funny and clever and "attempts" to make class fun, but ALL she does is lecture. She isn't clear at all. There are 2 exams and the final as well as a field assignment to the zoo (in the snow) to observe animals. Beware this professor!
shes AWESOME
Shes awesome (says my friend XP) but i think shes pretty cool. The work is easy, and i think shes pretty good at teaching people stuff. ROCK ON!!!!!!
Passionate, energetic, inspiring.
One of the most passionate and enthusiastic professors I've ever had. The exams were tough, but she gives you study guides and reading guides...giving you everything necessary to study. She knows what she?s talking about, and inspires you to care as well. Great Prof!
Dr. Hunt is my favorite prof! Her energy and positive attitude made what could have been a very dry class interesting and enjoyable. I looked forward to this class and I am not usually a bio fan. Watched lots of movies/planet earth and took notes every day on topics like water uses, oil spills, deforestation, agriculture and other environmental issues. I learned so much. Take this class!
Excellent Prof. Super energetic and you can tell she loves the subject. Tests are not a walk in the park but she makes sure you have a study guide and reading guide. If you go to class and do all the readings and do the reading questions the Exams are a lot better. I would def recommend her as a teacher. :)
Excellent and fun instructor that makes you eager to attend class. Really cares about her students. She will not however give a good grade to last minute garbage so be sure to apply yourself.
She's a nice lady who is always willing to help, but the lectures are repetitive and extremely boring. The tests are not fair at all. She creates them out of reading and study guides that she provides before hand, but I completed every single one and studied for 8+ hours for each test and still didn't get one A. They are ridiculous.
Very good prof. She's very flexible and is all about you learning the material. Very down to earth and knowlegable on the subject matter. Funny too!
She is a GREAT professor. I hate science, biology, ecology, etc. and she made it exciting and interesting. Make sure you read the articles she posts online and answer all the supplemental questions. She those articles more that I thought to create test questions. Go to class and take good notes. A great 100-level bio class.
Professor Hunt is an EXCELLENT professor. She knows the material very well, and is really enthusiastic in presenting it. She gives difficult projects and tests, but is more than willing to point you in the right direction. Especially watch out for the take home tests; they're exceedingly difficult. Certainly worth your time to take a class with her
global sustainable agriculture. She covers basic ecological concepts that everyone already knows, yet expects considerably more effort and research out of you than she shows herself. Exams are take home essays and the heftiest exams I've ever taken. I wish I'd never decided to take her class. Never failed on a paper until I took this class. Avoid!
Only 2 exams, which were pretty easy. There was one group project which took up a massive amount of time but was graded pretty leniently as well. The class material is easy to understand but super repetitive if you're a bio or psych major.
If you want to read a lot for a level 100 class, this is the class to take. I was mediocre in science and I thought this class would be "ok" to take, I thought wrong. She assigns way too many articles to read and are about 10 pages long for each one. Then she only takes about 1-2 questions from each article and puts it on the exam, way too hard!
She's a very good professor, very clear and funny. This was a pretty easy class, three exams and three quizzes. She's not that tough of a grader if you study your notes and read the pages she wants you to read. The material can be boring but she tries to make it more amusing. Overall, I would absolutely take her again, good class.
Pretty sure Dr. Hunt was born to teach this course. Excellent professor who loves what she is teaching. Super funny and understands the lack of interest students have so she tries to make it as interesting as possible for the class. Be expected to receive many articles to read, but there are barely any quizzes/tests. I would take her for again.
I love professor Hunt. She is passionate about what she teaches, and finds a way to make it interesting and draw you in, even if you weren't really interested in the subject matter at the beginning of the course. She is awesome and extremely helpful, take any class of hers that you can!
Excellent professor. It is very obvious she loves the subject and cares about her students. She is extremely nice. However, she assigns way too many readings. All the quizzes and exams are passed off the readings. The notes in class don't really help. Her exams are tough but doable. 3 quizzes, 3 exams(final is not cumulative) and 3 Hw assignments.
Jodee was super nice! She is very clear about what is expected of you and when needs to be done to take the class. There is little to any mandatory homework, but there is a lot of reading in order to pass the class. There is only 3 quizzes and 3 exams the whole semester, and the final is NOT cumulative. This class is moderately easy.
Professor Hunt is an absolute sweetheart! She tries to make the lectures less boring by throwing some jokes in about herself and what she is teaching. As a student you need to read all the articles and study as much as possible for exams. They are tough along with the quizzes, and never leave the homework for the last minute she expects quality!
Awesome prof, super nice. Make sure you make the few points count in her class though. Only a few quizzes, tests, and homework assignments make up the whole grade so study super hard for them and don't blow off the notes. I bombed the first exam thinking i could make up the points but there aren't many to be had and the tests are pretty hard!
Professor Hunt was one of the worst professors I've had at Grand Valley. She is very nice, but her lectures are confusing, information given is not what was on the test. I was very frustrated and she didn't help me very much when I asked for clarification. She acted like she didn't care. I would be her friend, but hated being her student.
Super fun lecturer, very energetic. It was an 8 am during summer semester and she was understanding of people being sleepy or bored and tried to compensate. Tests were tough, she loves examples from the book.
Professor Hunt is a nice lady but for an environmental science class she made it 10 Times hader than it needed to be. Her tests are very hard. You don't have a text book but she posts readings in black board that you have to read carefully and spend a lot of time on the reading guide. Her tests are 80% of the readings! Frustrating and Hard!
One of the best profs I've had. Her tests are pretty tough and rely heavily on assigned readings, but she gives you a very clear study guide (a rarity in college!). She is super passionate and tries to make it as interesting as she can. Do the readings and study guides and you'll be fine
Professor Hunt is AMAZING. She is very kind and obviously cares about her students. Her lectures show that she is very passionate about Biology and teaching. I would take her again and definitely recommend taking her!
I've taken taken a few biology class, this class was the worst biology course I have ever taken. Jodee is a sweet lady but she's disorganized. She uses no outline or PowerPoint everything is on the board which is super confusing when she switches topics every two seconds without telling u if she's still on one concept or not. Her tests are hard!!!!
She is funny and responds to email questions. She focuses on assessment for grading and little else. I wish she had offered extra credit. The nice grace given is a "cheat sheet" for the exam but it is graded heavily. Exams are very difficult with her wording, make sure you read the textbook! She has a far too high expectation for amount to read.
Jodee is a great professor. She is always making lecture interesting, and making jokes. She allowed full page cheat sheets on every exam, and you were allowed to use them all on the final. She gives reading guides for every test, which are extremely helpful if you are willing to put in the work. Tests are fairly easy if you studied.
Jodee has great lectures that make you pay attention. You must read the book which I didn't always do and remember the examples from there. She gives you a cheat sheet for each test to use on the test. The tests are hard and she words a lot of things weird so they can be hard to understand.
Professor Hunt was by far the best professor I have had in the BIO department so far. She is always enthusiasts throughout her lectures and genuinely cares about the success of her students. Her lectures can be a bit confusing sometimes, but she welcomes any questions. You get a full cheat sheet for each exam, so be sure to get ALL the info on it.
Professor Hunt is great. Shes kind of funny an entertaining. She keeps the lectures interesting. But beware, every piece of work matters in this class, even things you think wont be that important are. She makes things easy though with her explanations. I did super well on everything I turned in because she make sure we understand.
Professor Hunt has difficult tests, but she gives a lot of quizes so you understand what she will expect of you fast in the semester. Her lectures are very enjoyable and she can make soil and interesting topic. She is always trying to get a laugh out of her students and will do anything you need. Just do the readings and study for her quizes. LOVE.
If you struggle with bio take this prof! Dr. Hunt is very energetic and passionate about what she lectures. She doesn't use PowerPoint and relies on diagrams and key info written on the board, making it NECESSARY to go to class. She allows a doubled sided cheat sheet during the exams and you can use all your previous sheets on the final. Loved her!
Jodee was one of the best professors Ive had. I never was bored in her lectures as she always tried to make them funny and entertaining. She is super kind and caring and wants you to succeed. Shes a little bubble of energy and as long as youre trying she will work with you. Her exams were hard, but she lets you have a cheat sheet.
Prof Hunt is one of the best professors I've had so far at GVSU. She keeps lectures entertaining. She doesn't make/use powerpoints for her lectures, so it's really important to go to class since she does all her "notes" on the board. Her exams are a little on the hard side, but with enough studying you can get As; you get a "cheat sheet" too.
Prof. Hunt was PHENOMENAL for BIO 215. I would highly recommend. Jodee is very funny and made lecture enjoyable. Reading the textbook is very important. Reading guides and study guides provided. Cheat sheet allowed on all exams. Little to no homework.
Took Dr. Hunt for BIO120 and shes the best prof ever. She really cares for the student, more than any prof I've ever had. I liked her so much I made her my advisor. Shes here to help students and will meet with you. The class is 3 tests and a final and 4 online quizzes and that's it. read the book and start your cheat sheet a week before the exam.
Sit in the front of the class and act like a try-hard if you want an A. Exams are all essay-based, so she grades based on what she thinks is "detailed enough." I aced physics II but not "evolution of social behavior" what a joke loll. Don't take if you're tryna go to grad school bc she will ruin your GPA
Prof. Hunt always got distracted by her own stories. She was disorganized and it was a bad experience overall. She lost my first exam and didn't tell me until our last exam was handed back. She told me she would take care of it but didn't and my grade suffered. Her exams were easy though because she let you use cheat sheets.
I love prof Hunt. She is super fun, & makes lecture really easy to understand. She really cares about her students & makes sure that everyone understands what is going on in lecture. There is a lot of reading out of the book. She allowed cheatsheets on the exams which was awesome because there are so many term. I would definitely take her again
She really cares about her students and has a very open lecture and takes any questions that people have and do her best to answer them. Her tests are tough but you get a two sided cheat sheet for each test and can use them all on the final. Her lectures can kind of be all over the place, has no power point slides and hard to follow at times.
Hunt's lectures for this course were unorganized, difficult to follow, and had no visual supplementation (stay away if you are a visual learner, she just lectures). She assigns an extensive amount of reading outside of class, yet doesn't elaborate on the reading assignments during lecture. Whole grade is based on 2 exams, good luck.
She is seriously the sweetest soul and cares SO much about her students. I had her for lecture traditional but all tests and quizzes were online because of covid and she made them multiple choice all open book and open note. She is always willing to help. Tries to actually make lectures and lab fun. She writes notes on the board while lecturing
She gets off track sometimes when lecturing to tell a story about the topic were talking about but it doesnt get annoying it keeps you interested. Love her, I recommend her for any BIO class you have to take. So passionate about what shes teaching.
I would agree sometimes there is stuff on the tests/quizzes that she does not mention in class that is in the book (probably) so just make sure you read the book using the reading guides that she posts on Bb.
You teach yourself, gave stupid excuses why she can't teach via recordings. Gives you reading guides that are over 20+ pages when completed. Materials given last minute, no communication or timeline. Tests are super specific and confusing. Late or no response to emails. Disorganized, lazy. Don't ask about your grade, she'll just say it's fine.
She does not post any PowerPoints or lecture recordings. She has tests and quizzes weekly. The due date for the tests and quizzes are random and she never post them the same day of the week. They are also not open for the same time. She sent an email saying the exam was going to be due on Wednesday and closed it early. She does not respond to email
This professor did the bare minimum with teaching this class. No lecture videos and barely any powerpoints/notes to supplement the reading guides she gives. Exams are way harder than what they need to be. Ignored many students emails when asking for help with the course when a majority of students are struggling in the class.
Very enthusiastic. Go to class and take notes and then make sure you take HEAVY notes on the reading assignments. The exams lean more toward the info in the book, which she barely talks about in class, but also has questions from things she mentions in class. I turned in an exam late (online) and emailed her and she gave me full credit. Very nice
RUN. I had a 4.0 before this class. She does not/will not teach the material. It's entirely up to your ability to read the text book and pray to god you understand it well enough to answer her incredibly specific, confusing quiz/exam questions. Didn't even get a zoom lecture until weeks into the course. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Do not take!!
I took Prof. Hunt hoping that she would be incredible based on her reviews here. I was so so wrong. She is unable to teach through the online format. She ignores emails, teaches the class on a "read the book" basis, and posts quizzes and exams whenever she feels like it, with little to no notice and short time frames. Do not take her online.
Taking this course online with her was a nightmare. She never actually lectured, she didn't answer questions/emails, & she refused to record the random zoom sessions that she just began offering mid-semester. She posts very complex quizzes every week at a different day/time, & that's all that's in the gradebook. Do not recommend.
I have taken a class with Dr. Hunt before and I loved her, but online format is not for her. If you can avoid taking an online class with her, DO IT! She posts way too much material and expects us to do it all within a week so she can post another quiz or exam for us to take. She does not answer emails and decided to do zooms at very random times
Dr. Hunt is an amazing prof. She cares about her students succeeding and she is the sweetest person! However, she gives no homework. She only gives exams and quizzes every week. There definitely is not a cushion for your grade. You need to pay in lecture and take notes to do well in this class. A lot of effort required, but worth it!
Overall Jodee is a nice person, but rambles a lot during lectures. Quizzes every week, 4 exams through out the year, no homework. She is not very good at communicating when quizzes and exams will be during the week and usually throws them out there whenever. Personally would not take her again.
I had her online. She's super nice and wants you to do well in the course. Responds to emails pretty quick. Posts reading guides and notes on the main things you should know for each chapter. Graded on exams, quizzes, and maybe a hw or two. Exams tend to be very book based & can be pretty tough, but not always. Also, offers some extra credit!
Professor Hunt was a really amazing professor, Her exams are fair and if you are succeeding in her course it says more about you as a student than her as a professor. She truly cares about all of her students and their mental health and is extremely understanding of your needs as a person and not just as another student. Would recommend as a prof.
She really cares about students and is very understanding. Quizzes and exams are only points and can be pretty tricky. All were online. She types out notes for lectures and chapters which is helpful.
Her test were extremely hard in my opinion. The test are written with multiple correct answers but one is more correct than the rest. If you are good at catching those fine details great. If not take another teacher. Why try to trick people arent the main details more important?
I absolutely ADORED Prof. Hunt. Her lectures were so interesting and I actually was interested in stuff I usually don't care about. Her passion for the subject is apparent and her energy is honestly infectious. At least for this year, all of the tests were online and open note with around 48 hours to take each one. TAKE GOOD NOTES!!!!!
Jodee is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and so funny. She is a wonderful lady. But her exams? So tough! The reading assignments are absolutely necessary. I cannot imagine having taken this class before COVID... She used to only allow students one page of notes on exams. She also didn't provide her lecture notes before 2020. I struggled for that A.
Hunt is an amazing person and is hilarious. She tries to keep everyone engaged and you can tell she loves what she does. With that said, this class is not easy. You will work your butt off to maintain a good grade and that still isn't enough sometimes. Her exams are super conceptual and HARD. Take Hunt but be ready to work!
Hunt is a hilarious professor! Her lectures are always super interesting and she uses lots of great examples. The ideas being taught are pretty easy, but her tests are pretty difficult. The questions really make you think but she encourages everyone to use their notes. Take your time on the tests and honestly, you'll be fine!
So funny. Lectures are entertaining whish makes it more fun to come to class. She's very understanding and super sweet, if you ever need anything just email her and she'll probably sign it with emojis
Dr. Hunt was always energetic. She is great at talking about the notes and it is obvious she knows what she is talking about. She also has lots of personal stories that connect with what we were learning. She truly cares for her students.
Dr. Hunt is a great and passionate professor. The only grades in the class are tests and quizzes but they are open note, online, and can be taken from anywhere. Due to this, she does try to make you think by them, but they still are not very hard and automatically adds a point of E.C. She is encouraging and wants the best for her students.
Dr. Hunt is amazing, she truly cares about her students. She is very understanding of how much is going on in our lives. The class environment is great. Only gave quizzes/tests for grades but they were all open note and online. The tests/quizzes could be difficult but with the open note rule it was understandable. Overall a really great class.
Dr. Hunt is incredibly kind and passionate about what she teaches. However, I would not take her again. Not once this semester did she post an exam or quiz when she said she was going to. Though she is a great professor, she has caused me so much stress in not posting things so I had to plan my schedule around her disorganization multiple times.
This is my second class taking Hunt and she is just so funny. The class material is only so interesting, but she does her best to make it entertaining. She's a busy lady so sometimes contacting her outside of class is hard, but just nag her and she'll appreciate it. The material itself isn't hard, but her test questions can be a little tricky.
