Wow is she easy! This class was the best class ever! She will work w/ you on any problem and is very helpful and thoughful in general!

Ms. Jodi is an excellent teacher. She is very understranding, sensitive and she has a sweet personality. There are no quizzes or test. The speeches are fun. She is a very easy grader. I would reccommend this class for any one to take. you will love her class. I you want an easy A take her class.

Ms Jodi's class is really fun. She doesnt want to "stress you out" over the class, and she adheres well to that philosophy!!! She has funny stories, and a funny personality. Plus she is very helpful and understanding with problems.

Take the 3 hr Monday night classes. You stay for 2 hours tops!! It was so easy! She's very flexable on topics to chose from for speeches, very nice, and empathetic for people who are horrified by public speaking. It's an EASY A+!!

honestly she is the coolest professor I've ever had. She doesn't try to intimidate her students, she really actually wants us to understand what is going on. If at all possible GET HER FOR RESERACH METHODS!!! and whatever else you can!

Good teacher, Public speaking can be hard if you dont want to do it. Make a speech, prove a point, dont mess up and youll do good. She works with you if unprepared. Summer Public Speaking class is wayyyy better

Jodi was great! She never even taught 430 because I have attempted to take everything I can with her, so the comment regarding her "sucking" in 43o comes, obviously, from a moron! She is a caring instructor with an awesome personality!

This class is very easy. You can totally suck at giving speeches and the woman will give you an A for trying. She sends you tons of emails with inspirational quotes which I've never had a teacher do. You can tell she really cares about her students

Jodi is the best professor that I have had in my entire collegiate career. I highly recommend taking her classes! You WILL learn quite a bit and not only that, but you will have fun. She is an amazing professor with a great personality and is truly kind to her students.

I learned absolutely nothing from this class. She is friendly as could be, but honestly, you could read the newspaper the whole semester and still get an A. She would rather sit on the desk and chat about soda than talk about anything scholarly. If you're looking to get an A and not learn a thing, Jodi's your teacher.

SOOO FREAKING EASY... YOU WILL GET AN A. Dont really learn anything in class but you do get better and speech giving. Likes to talk a lot and gets a lil annoying, but is still nice.

Ridiculously easy. I haven't learned anything from her lectures. All we do is talk about people's problems for half the class. God. Why can't people just leave the drama out the classroom? And why does she have to listen to them gripe and whine? Jodi's a very nice person, the class is a breeze, but you won't learn anything in this class.

She is super easy but the funny thing is, I actually learned stuff in her class as opposed to any other class i took this semester. She's really sweet and willing to work with you if you can't meet a deadline or if you can't make it to class.

I love Jodi! she is so fun and she really cares how you do in her class. She will make sure everyone understands what is going on. And I think what makes her even better is she cares how you do personally instead of grading you on your content. It's an easy course and you seriously have to be lazy and rude if you don't get an A in her class.

If you don't want to take Public Speaking, and want the easiest A in your life, take this class... you won't regret it. Ms. Jodi is extremely nice and really cares about her students. The only "assignments" we had were three 1-page papers and a group presentation. That's it!

Ms. Jodi is awesome; she is so nice and so caring. She really cares about her students; you are more than just a grade to her. Don't take this class if Public Speaking is really important to you though because we didn't go over a ton of content...just the basics and interesting stuff. Jodi is awesome about working with you on 'issues' as well.

I LOVE JODI!!! It is extremely easy to pass her class. Just make sure you attend class and do any assignments she assigns (not hard). She is fun and makes class not so dreary. Assignments and attendance are easy.

Jodi is so wonderful! I took COMM 200S - 3 quizzes (super easy), 3 journals, NO TESTS, 2 group presentations (5 people in each group)...she takes attendence but gives you 2 or 3 freebies...don't buy the book

Jodi is so laid back and helpful! The class is not hard unless you're just a person who is out of touch with society. And she explains things so well.She's AWESOME!

Her class was a breeze, even if you don't understand one of her EASY group assignments, or writing assignments she will explain it to you. Her final was a little challenging since most of class during that semester was spent doing boring group presentations. It's a easy class & the material is pretty much common sense. She's a nice lady, take her!

Such a sweet and genuine lady! There were 4 speeches throughout the semester and one final exam. There was not one day we stayed in class the whole time, we were always out early. She also cancels class a lot. Attendance is not mandatory and she is really understanding and willing to work with you if you can't make it to class. No textbook.

Jodi is great and really cares about her students. Some people try to take advantage of her kindness and skip class, but I enjoyed her class a lot. If you're terrified of public speaking, she is a good teacher to take because she gives so much great feedback. She's not intimidating, mean, or rude. She rarely kept us for the entire class length.

Hands down the best professor for a COMM class at ODU. She's the sweetest woman and is very flexible with your speeches. She is the first professor that I've seen genuinely care for her students, and if I could take this class every semester I probably would!

BEST TEACHER! Easiest A you'll ever earn! I was scared to take this class at first but she's the sweetest woman and doesn't judge on speeches. As long as you give your speech, even with some minor problems you'll get atleast a B! Only test is the final and she gives you the questions ahead of time! I wish every prof was like her! Also cancels alot!

She was a wonderful public speaking teacher. Also, you are NEVER** in her class for the full time unless it's speech day. She cancels class like its a game. Don't take her if you want to learn public speaking or get over your stage fright. EASY A. PS: She gives you the exact questions in exact order to her final exam. GO TO CLASS!!

She is as sweet as sugar! You will have to give speeches obviously but only 4. We got out of class early every single day and she cancelled class often. I'll be honest you don't learn a ton but if you go to class you will get an A!

Best teacher you could get for Voice and Diction! She is so funny and really helps you get the nerves out of you. Be prepared to be critiqued in front of the class! It really is an easy A! p.s. class gets cancelled a lot :)

Jodi is the best! She has such a kind heart and truly cares about her students and their grades. Her class is super easy and you always get out of lecture early, sometimes we were only in class for 15 minutes. Its an easy A with a caring professor. I signed up to take another one of her classes again next semester.

Jodi is the nicest teacher at ODU! She really tries hard to make you feel warm, welcome, and inspired. She is what all instructors need to should aspire to be. The speeches are easy, and if you don't do good, you'll still get a good grade for trying! Daily attendance, but class meets about 2/3rds of the time. Many days dedicated to practice at home

Easy-going class! You get 3 free absences. Straightforward syllabus, no surprises about speech rubrics. Jodi is an easy grader, but do your best! Shy? Anxiety? Ok! She creates a family atmosphere. Always make a PowerPoint for presentations. The class will look at it instead of you which'll help with nervousness! Jodi's feedback won't hurt feelings!

Jodi is most likely the greatest professor on campus, not because you barely have class but she's so nice and caring. Please, whatever you do take her, it's an EASYYY A and you will enjoy doing speeches on her class.

Such an easy class! You do four speeches and a final exam. It helps to be prepared for the speeches, but some people were able to present with no preparation and still pass with a good grade. She will tell everyone they did a good job no matter what, and will let you know what you need to work on. She's so sweet, and class is cancelled a lot.

omg such a sweetheart. there were three main presentations required and she was always so positive and tried her best to make you feel as comfortable as possible. listen in class and you'll breeze through the quizzes. you can tell she really cares about her students.

take this class in the summer! She gives us three speeches that we have to preform in class during the span of the summer session. There is no test or quizes or homework unlike her fall class. there is only one exam and she will give you 10 of 25 of the questions and answers. She is sweet and caring and if you need more time she will give you it.

Jodi is a real gem, one of the kindest professors you can get at ODU. There are only 3 speeches and she grades pretty leniently on all of them. There's a couple of quizzes but she doesn't make you come on those days. She gives you a lot of time to prepare for the speeches and you get to pick which day you want to go a couple of weeks beforehand.

If you have to take a public speaking class, especially if you don't enjoy it, take Ms. Jodi! She is sweet caring and is realistic. 3 speeches (easy ones), 2 quizzes (she goes over them before) and a final (composed of the quiz questions.) I hate public speaking but would take her again!

Ms. Jodi is an amazing professor. You have 3 speeches, 3 quizzes, and a final exam. She is very understanding and willing to work with you if you can't present on the assigned day. The quizzes are very easy. Two of the speeches require sources, but they don't have to be peer-reviewed. Very funny.

I absolutely LOVE Ms. Jodi!! I was dreading taking voice and diction because it is a public speaking class, but she made it so enjoyable. Super sweet lady! You have three speeches throughout the entire semester and while they all have themes (persuasive, ect) you can talk about pretty much anything you'd like within the theme and she will listen openly and grade fairly. Cares a lot about all of her students, loves personal speeches, and gives you inspirational feedback.

Miss Jodi is honestly one of the nicest professors I've ever had. She makes sure that we are as comfortable as possible when presenting. She gives positive feedback, and is also funny. There are 3 quizzes and one exam, the exam questions are directly from the quizzes and everything is on blackboard. There are also two speech evaluations.

Take this class! She is easy to work with and has a heart of gold. She always helps and gives you the answers the class before quiz date so you can easily study. Forever grateful I could take her class. She's a real gem and hilarious. Take her Dr. Seuss readings seriously. At first I thought it was silly, but she had a real point to read stories

We had a total of 3 assignments that were super easy, she goes over quiz questions in class, and the exam were all the easy quiz questions! Plus, she's one of the nicest humans ever. If you can take Ms. Bromley, DO IT! She grades everything quickly and will never give you a bad speech grade since she knows a lot of people struggle with public speaking. She also is easy to get ahold of and emails back very fast.

Ms. Bromley is an amazing instructor! Only 3 speeches, small quizzes which you can use open-notes, and no "real" final. She is caring, funny, and constantly available. She gives great grades and appreciates small victories, I would suggest her course to any student who must take public speaking. Easy A!!!

Without a doubt , Jodi was the best instructor. She was very patient ,funny, and not a harsh grader.

All you have to do is present at least a little and she will hype you up. It is very hard to fail her class. Class is mandatory but she makes it fun so it is worth it. Low maintenance class with little homework.

Professor Bromley is so sweet. Her lecture is very boring, it's basically examples of speeches on YouTube. She is not a hard grader when it comes to speeches or assignments. Minimal assignments. It is really not a hard class and overall, the professor is very understanding and would do anything to make students feel comfortable.

Mrs. Jodi was the absolute sweetest! Very encouraging and helpful and by far one of the easiest classes I've ever taken thanks to her simple and clear teaching methods. I'd recommend doing the few assignments she assigns and giving her the utmost respect as she deserves it!

She is really sweet. I have had mostly disrespectful professors and she is a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately, her lectures are boring. Her lectures are watching YouTube presentations and talking about how well they did. I wish she was more honest with giving feedback. I knew I didn't do good on one speech and she only gave back good feedback

Professor Bromley is incredibly sweet and understanding. Her class is low-maintenance, with just a few speeches and small quizzes. Attendance is mandatory, but she makes it enjoyable. unstuck AI was a lifesaver for study prep!

Please take professor Bromley for your public speaking class. She was absolutely amazing and such a kind and caring professor. Her speeches were very easy and she would give you feedback throughout your speech. Textbook reading was not bad at all and her quizzes and ep were easy as well. You have to take her! One of the best professors I've ever had. Very Caring and will make jokes in class. For the speeches, all you have to do is literally go up there and talk for a minute, and you will receive an automatic 100. Just go to class, and it will be the easiest A ever.

Gave out extensions whenever asked and would extend assignments and speeches multiple times, even if past due. At the beginning of the semester, there was an assignment for completion to get experience with the software used for speeches, and she ended up giving 5 extra credit points for it. Overall, great professor and would absolutely take again.
