She is hilarious and I have had her for Study Skills for two semesters and Basic Activities for one semester. I keep wanting to take her classes because of how fun she makes it and it seems like time flies! I would suggest taking her, because you will have a lot of fun and learn something at the same time!

Mrs. Coffman is one the funnest teacher I have ever had. She makes everything so funny and easy to understand. She completely understand students. One thing she doesnt like is people walking in late. Other than that, she's the best.

The class is simple. Do all the work and you will get a good grade. Her class work outweighs the test grades so don't get lazy. If you do the busy work it will boost your grade a lot. She seems nice; I took it online so there isn't a lot of interaction. She is very organized as well. Easy A.

Professor Coffman is very clear about assignments and instructions. If you are not self-disciplined enough to do your assignments and stay on top of checking blackboard. First of all, she doesn't make you purchase a textbook for the online class, it's free! She assigns a lot of homework every week so be prepared, but it's not difficult, just time consuming. Just do the homework every week, be detailed and make sure your answers are well thought-out and you'll be fine. No midterm or final, just quizzes every week.

The class itself was great. Every week we had have our assignments in order that needed to be done and the time it needed to be done. It was very well oriented.

It was a really great time to get various skills for my academic studies. I was inspired by her lecture. Great online class, but don't think this is going to be an easy class. There are a lot of assignments, most are not super difficult, but they are time consuming. Professor Coffman is open and easy to work with. The professor offers a lot of extra credit opportunities as well.

Professor Coffman was very sweet and always willing to help out her students. This class is especially great if you are just starting off college because it can really point you in the right direction. You can expect multiple weekly assignments but they are rather simple and a lot of the times they are just about yourself!

This is one of the few teachers who will actually reach out to you. During the course I had an issue with my home life and turned in an assignment late one time and she reached out and made sure everything was okay. She gives good feedback and as long as you stay on track you'll do just fine.

I loved that the communication was there. You really had to focus on your work and the workload was much needed to accomplish your goal of passing the course. Questions from the professor were answered in a timely manner and she was always in communication via email.

I had Professor Coffman for study skills 109 online and it was the best courses ever, mind you it was my first online course. I thought it would be difficult for me but it actually was the total opposite , courses were straight to the point and all my questions I had were answered in a timely manner. Great class, I would recommend to another student. This class taught me a lot about things from goals, time management to motivation. The assignments are do-able and aren't a massive amount of work. It just takes studying and all can be done. I always put in my best effort and it is all worth it at the end because I get the grade I want.

I took Professor Coffman for my fall semester in Study Skills. I absolutely loved the class! It's transferrable to CSUs which works out and the class was easy. It did require a good amount of homework time to be set aside but it really is an easy A if you do the work and the class has a LOT of point value so if you miss something, it'll be okay!

I took the online STDY101 course in Fall 2018 at SAC. The online textbook was only $20 and all the other materials were free. The professor is VERY caring & approachable. The class has the same assignments each week - read the online chapter, watch videos, write/reply on discussion board, take 10 question quiz. Would highly recommend!

Took her STDY109 online class. It was honestly one of my favorite classes this semester. The topics you go over in the readings are more life advice than lecture. Although I put textbook use as yes you don't need to buy it, the chapters are given to you online.

I took the online class STDY109 with the professor Jodi Coffman in the fall semester 2018. Honestly, this class is one of my favorite class. Focus on reading and completing all discussions, journals and activities will be the best way to gain the full score every week. All missions which are given to students are easy to do.

Professor Coffman's online STDY 101 class has been great. It's a 1 unit online course with minimal work, so don't worry about this class holding you back from finishing your other schoolwork. There is a quiz and a discussion that you have to complete every week. The quizzes are short and you can find the answers through the reading that is assigned

This was an informational and easy to adapt to online course. Professor Coffman makes the assignments easy to follow and to complete. Just make sure to use Word or another computer program to fill out the homework. Overall, if you can pace yourself, you will succeed.

Since I took this class online, it was my responsibility to be aware of all the assignments and their deadlines. This class is easy, but it's very heavy with homework. For each chapter, you have to make a discussion board post and respond to at least 2 students, journal entry, quiz, and activities. Usually the activities will be about 3-4 questions per section, and it'll have about 4-5 sections. The professor responds really fast if you make a discussion post

I would highly recommend all college students to take a Study Skills course with Professor Coffman. You will learn so many things about yourself, including how to strategize, organize and even how take tests and quizzes.

This class taught me more then helping me with anxiety, for example the ted talks were so helpful to me when it came to my other classes.
