Since the classes are online. She doesnt care much and dont wanna do any zoom meetings on request. Never does any live lecture. She demands so much in theassignment. Her grading is very inappropriate. Her instructions are not very clear on assignments. I would never take class from this prof. It seems she doesnt want to make any effort to teach.
By far the worst class I have ever enrolled in. Had to learn material by myself and the Professor is absolutely horrid. She has the worst instruction I have witnessed in my four years of studies.
The exams I feel like have no correlation with the lecture material or the textbook. I have never been so surprised after taking the exams online to see how much I got wrong. Only passing because of the papers she assigned. Really unorganized and never communicates with us, she does not make herself available. Tells us to question the textbook...
It is very clear that she has no interest in being an educator and comes off condescending at best. Her lectures are hours long and the only thing she will really say is 'read the textbook'. The way her/the TAs mark are ridiculous considering they never give clear instructions and then doc marks for dumb things like 'my font being too big'.
Was great in the first 2 weeks, and then just disappeared. cancelled all live lectures for the entire semester, impossible to get a hold of through email, the textbook was the entire course. I am super interested in nutrition and it was extremely disappointing to have had her as a prof. I strongly advise against taking her class.
Professor Lee is unorganized, hard to comprehend her assignments, there is no connection between lectures/assignments and the exams. It felt as though she did not take her job seriously due to the lack of effort and communication even when asking direct questions. Did not cover much material in class and expects you to read the full textbook.
Jodi is a pretty good professor. Grading criteria is clear and marking is fair. She definitely knows a lot about nutrition and is very passionate about it. The course consisted of two assignments and two tests (if I remember correctly).
DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE. I feel like I taught myself an entire course and paid someone else to do nothing. most content heavy class out there, exams don't match up with info you are being told to read. unless you enjoy memorizing 1000 page text book, don't take this class... so so so so frustrating. definitely sets you up for failure.
worked hard to make an interesting class during online remote. hard marker but gives lots of instruction. live zooms to learn about assignments were excellent. very good prof.
excellent class - lots of time to work as a group during class time.
Decent intro class. Do the work. Watch the videos. Youll do fine.
Shes organized. Hard marker. Good set up with videos each week. Big assignments. Iprofile is brutal.
Best class ever!
My favourite prof. I wish she taught more classes. Really cares about students. Answered all my millions of emails. Totally recommend.
Content interesting. Group project was ok but the presentations were dull. Good prof overall.
Loved this class. Hated the assignments. You better pay attention to apa or prepare to lose a lot of marks. Prof is good, approachable.
Jodi is a great teacher. Organized, friendly but she expects a lot for a first year course. Pay attention to her lectures! She gives really great practical information to use in your life which is awesome. Tests are crazy hard so study did them.
I loved this class! Soooo well done. Nice prof. Course laid out well. Video lectures under an hour each. Good pace. Do the work, dont get behind. Lots of material.
I thought this was a good teacher. She sure loves nutrition, lol. Friendly. Hard tests but ok if you study. Dunno why there are complaints about organizing. Everything is laid out on nexus in perfect order. Maybe the complainers never looked ? Not the profs fault. Haha. Good class. Take it.
Great intro class to nutrition. Makes you work for your grade. Good explanations. Videos are good. Lots of extra zoom fir assignments.
Glad I didn't listen to the neg comments. This was an excellent class with any excellent teacher. She tries hard to help you learn the material and uses lots of examples. The neg comments show those people to be whiners, honestly. What do you expect from university? It's hard, you have to to do stuff the way the prof says to.
I disagree with previous comments complaining about the organization and marking. It is reasonable for a prof to mark hard when step-by-step instructions for APA and rubrics are provided from the beginning of the term with plenty of time to get clarification. Clearly organized if she gives you all that. Jodi genuinely cares about her class.
This is my FAVOURITE prof! She's funny, smart, on time, fair. Expects you to do what she says but you get high marks if you do it. LOVE LOVE LOVE her.
Jodi expects you to be an adult, meaning you need to actually do the work she asks you to do. She is not unreasonable in this expectation. If you have any desire to learn a lot about your own nutrition and health, take her class. Its a ton of effort and absolutely worth it
Overall a good prof. I think lots of people go into her class not knowing what they're getting themselves into, they think its an intro class and it'll be a breeze but its a hard subject and theres lots to learn, then if you do bad and take the easy road and blame the prof. She knows what shes doing and if you put in the effort you'll do just fine
really really good class. very accessible, extremely patient with the needy students who ask the same questions over and over (prob same ones complaining they actually have to do work)
Good class. All online lectures v. organized. Responds to emails fast.
easy a if you follow directions
Easy A. 2 assignments, midterm and final.
Jodi Lee is my absolute favourite professor ever. She made the class fun and interactive. She adores her students and is passionate about her job. Good thing, cause the course itself is a bit dull at times. I would take anything and everything she taught.
Shes a great teacher. Works hard to make it extra interesting with it being online.
This was an incredible prof and I'm so happy I got to be in both of her classes. She's interesting, funny, humble, openminded, and tough. Expect to work to earn (duh, it's uni) and you learn SO much.
Good instructor. Clear expectations. 2 assignments - long and tedious but straightforward, mid term (hard must watch videos, dont skip this part)and non-cummulative final. Offers lots of opps for asking questions and clarifying papers.
Show up and you will do well. Very relevant to every day topics. Can be triggering as it's all the areas of health and there is an assignment to eval your own. Nice instructor.
I loved this class and the prof. She loves her job that's for sure. Tries to be funny, sometimes is, respectful of differences, easy to talk to. Gives super good tutorials on how to do the papers - attend them! Wish she taught more stuff.
clear video lectures, small chunks so that's nice, she's prepared and has good slides - not a rambler, also good. Watch the vids and you'll pass. Def pay attention to the details in the assignments. Study hard for the tests and you'll be fine. She did a really good job of making online learning interesting.
Jodi is the best prof in kin. She is funny, approachable, polite, engaged. I wish all profs took the time like she does. She offers so many ways to do well on assignments. Tests are hard but not unfair. She gives really good real life examples. Discussions are easy marks so do them correctly.
Super prof. Expectations are super clear. Really helps you learn how to think. The comments about reading the textbook are funny - duh, it's required for the course. No crap she wants you to read it. This ain't high school. Do some work why don't you. If you do, she gives you the marks. Not rocket science.
Took issues with Jodi, in person. She made the class fun and interactive. GAve lots of class time to get the discussion posts done. Presentations are not my favourite so didn't like that but it was only 5mins so not awful. Lots of ways to get marks. Fair grader. High expectations. Really liked her effort for inclusive language.
course was fine. do the work.
easy to follow in online forum. lots of interesting information. clear guidelines
Lots of videos to watch - clearly laid out. She gives you the pp slides to go with so you have all the info. Assignments are very detailed so don't miss something. Great teacher - easy to listen to.
Lots of discussion expected even in online class. Boring readings and lots of them. interesting assignments though and easy marking. Def take as gpa booster
Jodi is a lovely teacher. She's organized and knows how to use her computer which is refreshing. Even knows how to manage zoom. Class materials are somewhat interesting, assignments are dull but easy. Wish I could take this in person, bet would be really good.
Video lectures were great and I liked being able to go back to them and review. Super clear assignment guidelines. Answers every question, super patient, helpful. Wish I could take this class in person.
In spite of this class of being asynchronous, it have been very informative and engaging. Love gaining knowledge from this prof and from other classmates> different opinions helped me learn new things. I hope to have this prof again.
I knew next to nothing about nutrition before taking this course and this was an amazing a teacher - funny and calming. Super supportive and attentive. Great class.
This prof was seriously excellent. The nexus classroom was organized and everything was posted on time. She did extra live q and a times for us even though it was an asynchronous section, which was super helpful. Gave lots of good examples in her video lectures. Not just reading the textbook, actually explained it and gave us practical solutions.
Good prof - nice, friendly, helpful. Decent course. Obviously everything is better in person but this was pretty good having to do it online.
explains the assignments well and really good with responding to emails.the midterm was tricky but the final was really easy! easy to get an A in this class if you care and put in time. really nice lady!
Awesome professor , she is very interested in students, very sweet and caring , takes time to help you , her class was very easy and informative. recommend.
This course was good. Prof was interesting and liked us, which is always nice. Lots of good topics. Assignments decent, grading fair.
Decent teacher - organized and enthusiastic. Tells lots of stories. Cares about students. Assignments easy, tests hard. Show up and you'll do fine.
I don't think I can explain just how incredibly amazing Jodi is as a prof. Smart, funny, interesting, definitely knows her content but most of all she really cares about you. I had a really rough term with some personal health stuff going on and she was so supportive and accommodating. She encouraged me and didn't make me feel dumb, guilty. Love her
Great prof, easy marks, learned lots. Definite GPA booster without being a total snore.
Well, this class was a surprise. Amazing prof who was excellent at explaining course content. Helped us figure out being back in person, caring and patient. I was nervous to be in a classroom and she worked at making us feel comfortable. A really good experience. Def take a class with Jodi if you can.
Good instructor for an interesting class. Lots of talk about and she knew her stuff and tried to be fun and engaging. Presentations were dull but used up classtime. Was nice to be back in person. She helps us to be comfortable.
ultra easy class. Everything is laid out perfectly for you. Just follow along and fill in the blanks, 100% A+ no troubles. Wish more profs could be this linear.
Just took this is spring session and it was terrific. Wish I'd taken it in person - WOW do you ever learn a lot about nutrition. Very good class, excellent prof (even on vid), recommend.
Although she is very knowledgeable and passionate about nutrition, the way she conducts herself as a professor is awful. She doesn't answer questions about assignments DAYS before its due, she takes a sufficient amount of marks off just for grammar, she took all the content down 3 hours before our final with no warning. very strict prof, not a fan
Professor Lee is a tough grader for a first year class. Her and her TA take significant marks off for minor mistakes. She gives a deadline as to when she will no longer answer questions before an assignment is due, which can be frustrating.
Sorry, meant to give a good rating even though it is a tough class. Professor Lee is a tough grader for a first year class. Her and her TA take significant marks off for minor mistakes. She gives a deadline as to when she will no longer answer questions before an assignment is due, which can be frustrating.
Hard marker, high expectations, pay attention becasue she means what she says, rule follower so don't bother begging for something.takes cheating seriously which is good i guess but beware. good lectures, learn lots, knows her topic.
this was a decent online class.
the prof was interesting, knowledgeable on the videos but it be better in person. summer is intense, this one was jammed with papers and a midterm. lots to get done in a short time period. assignments laid out very clearly but warning, do not miss a thing on there or the marks come off. do what she says, get the A.
I found this prof to be good. Tough markers but you can def get 100% if you do what is asked on the assignment. Amazingly helpful.
For a first year course, it was pretty interesting. Textbook is blah and she uses it in a linear way - easy to follow. Gives examples of real life stuff which was nice.
Ehhhhhh. Exams are a 8/10 for difficulty :/
I think the assignments were heavy for a class like this with already so much content. Marks like an english teacher. Pretty straight forward in terms of content and text book information but she makes it difficult with her high expectations. She is very detailed and discrete that one small mistake can be wrong.
Hahaha, read the one below. She has expectations and you think that's a bad thing? She gives you details to follow and deducts when you don't. I think you forgot this was university. Great prof. Clear, Answers questions, gives lots of examples, and feedback.
decent, had worse. learned some new stuff.
Issues class - lots of participation needed. If you do that, you'll get a great mark. Follow the rubrics carefully. Jodi's a great instructor and you learn lots.
I will keep it short and straight to the point, don't take this as a GPA booster A+ is 95% and above and she won't give you it, she doesn't respond to emails, unfair grader, is impossible to talk to, and is just overall a bad prof who is not there to teach since she has a main job outside of Uni. Thus, don't take her if you care about your gpa.
The content is decent however, exams are relatively difficult. I don't believe an A+ is unattainable just because an A+ is 95%. I would not recommend this course simply because there are many other courses in this university that would allow you to succeed and actually do great.
A very unprofessional professor doesn't respond to emails, doesn't answer questions, and will make your life more difficult and stressful. Simply doesn't care about students and is insanely entitled, if you care about your GPA avoid at all costs.
Gives excellent power points, explains them well in class. gave the class a spare to finish up the second assignment. Available after class for q's, and answers emails (but don't use nexus). Expects a lot. Friendly.
Good prof and good course. Lots of opps to get marks - easy 10% for discussion posts. FYi 95% for A + is a department guideline and not the profs decision. I got an A without too much effort. SHow up and its easy to get it.
Super easy class. Definitely take it for GPA boost
Very good prof. Lots of practical activities. Many ways to get easy marks.
SOOOO easy. Read the text. Take a few notes in class. BOOM. Only 4 tests. straight from book.
Interesting class. Presentation and group work -not for everyone. Prof likes her job, tries hard.
HIGH expectations. Participate and you'll be fine. Lots of fun in class activities so not the usual boring class.
When comments say so easy it is very misleading, an A+ is 95% practically unattainable. I think out of my class that is close to 100 students probably only 1 or 2 tops sitting at A+. I have taken 3rd year biochem courses where an A+ was much more attainable. She doesn't respond to emails and says a lot of factually wrong things during lectures.
The whole UofW kin department is very unfair, and this prof works with them rather than attempting to oppose them such as other profs do, 95% and above is insanely unfair since practically no other departments have grading criteria as that. If you don't need kin classes for your degree stay far from them and take a course in a different department.
Jodi is an amazing prof. She talks very clear and you can tell how dedicated she is. She gives you plenty of information and time to complete assignments. The assignments can be difficult but if you work hard and don't wait until the last minute you will be okay. She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she wants you to succeed!
Jodi was incredibly supportive to me this semester. Willing to meet with me, find solutions for what I was going through. A great teacher and good person.
Wow what a class. SOOOO much content and sooooo many activites. Learned a lot and good usable stuff which is unusual in uni but you must be in class or you won't do well. Super clear instructions so that's helpful. Nice person.
Health class based on all the stuff we learned in highschool. Mostly a refresher with more detail. Textbook wasn't great and Jodi added in more current infomation. Lots of detail to know so take good notes. Tests based on lectures.
I really liked taking her class. She is very professional and has a lot of knowledge about the course. It is a lecture heavy course, but her slides are really informative.
Really good class, great prof - very knowledgeable and delivers content well. A technical and science based class so don't think you're getting an easy A here. Good foundation for future health degrees.
This class was awful and she just reads off the PowerPoint.
I like Jodi's teaching style. Great slides for reference plus good explanation during lectures. She makes it interesting. Recommend
I did not like this course content at all but I did like the prof. She uses lots of stories and examples, very energetic and enthusiastic. Props since she had to talk about STIs, drugs, etc.
Really excellent instructor. Lectures very well organized. Explanations about slides very good. Interesting stories. Super detailed assignments, make sure you read every part and don't miss stuff. Got 100% on the 1st one, 90% on the second. Tests are based on everything she says so TAKE NOTES, not just slides.
Had her last semester, half the class never showed up so their grades (and comments) will reflect that. You need to be there or you won't have enough info to do the final exam paper - have to use class stuff. Also, don't miss out of free marks with the discussion posts - get 100 if you do them on time.
Tough exams and practically impossible to ace! Better put your energy towards a different course and actually succeed.
Intro to health - it was fine.
better skip out on this one.
I am balding after this class and not genetic, so many better options at UofW just save your hair.
This course is super practical, lots of amazing activities, never boring, lots to discuss. Super interesting. Excellent prof.
Nutrition with 2 tests and 2 assignments. Good lectures. Good slides. Good instructions.
super fun class and really nice prof
Jodi is a courageous prof and not scared to tackle tough subjects. Very supportive of the LGBT community and works at navigating the sex/gender thing in lectures. textbook sucks on this. She talks about the issues openly and recognizes the problems. Inclusive.
Jodi is approachable and friendly. Willing to spend time with you when you have questions. Lets you review your quizzes. Lectures are good, lots of explanation of the slides. Posts the slide decks for you so you don't have to worry about missing something. Explains how topics fit together with each other so you understand the point. Recommend.
I loved this class. Learned so much but also enjoyed the process. Participate and she'll love you.
Adults who disparage adults on anonymous platforms are trolls. The haters didn't do the work required. The class is well organized and presented. Graded fairly and consistently. Content reasonable and prof approachable. Do the work. Own up to your responsibilities. Be a grownup.
Personally, I really liked this class. Instructor was passionate and enthusastic - not many are. High expectations and really clear boundaries - she means it when she says no late stuff.
Took this online and loved it. Wish I could have done in-person. Super hard, not gonna lie, but holy crap you learn so much about health and nutrition. She does not fool around with content - SO MUCH CONTENT. Will literally change your life. But you MUST study for the exams. A lot. And spellcheck or pay....
I enjoy how there is clear feedback on the assignments. Professor Lee shows and interest in the course she teaches and is completely willing to help students when they ask. She is very clear on what to expect for tests and assignments.
Professor Lee was a solid choice. Lots of creative activities for marks, no tests, take home exam paper. Generous grader. Will spend time with you to explain things. Means it when she says no late assignments. Happy and seemed to like all of us which is nice too.
Content is relatively basic, but there is A LOT of content. No clear expectations on what is testable material and what isn't. It is impossible to memorize so much content, especially given that most students take more than just a single course, so beware.
Jodi puts her all into her class. She is friendly and knowledgable. Encourages you to think about the content not just believe everything at face value which is good in an issues class. Lots of different kinds of assignments so always doing something. If you want 2-3 major things for marks, this is not the class. If you like variety, you get it.
When I took this, Jodi was teaching it for the first time. It was clunky in places but that was due to her being new in this course. Did a pretty good job considering. Only 4 tests for the whole term. Basic health curriculum but lots of detail.
Nutrition is a science class and don't forget that. It's in depth and detailed on very specific content. Might be better classified as a 2nd year class. Professor Lee is an excellent instructor and really knows her stuff. I especially like the examples she gave from applying the theory. Made it much easier to understand. Must go to class for an A.
I have taken all of Jodi's classes and loved every one. I wish she taught higher level stuff. She is patient and well versed in her field. Always willing to talk to you and answer questions even in the halls. She wants the best out of you - yes, expectations in uni, imagine. You will need to work hard to earn your marks. No freebies with her.
Online section - clear layout, good video lectures. Two assignments and 2 exams. Not cumulative so that's good. BASically watch the vids and you'll do well on the tests. Papers are fill in the blank.
I toook nutrition with Ms Lee online and thought it was a decent course. The tests are hard and teh assignments are easy so it balances out. Video lectures are good but somewhat outdated.
meh. health was dull and lectures boring. only tests and they were hard. but it was pretty organized and the lectures followed the text.
Jodi is a great instructor and provides clear explanations of the material. She is entertaining when she teaches and PowerPoint and clear and organized. Overall I had a great experience in her class.
I like the structure of this class in the way the tests were set up. We are given the chance to slowly prep for the exam and the grade is not unevenly distributed. friendly and calm person
Very friendly and always ready to help. Explain the concepts really well and with full dedication. I think the assignments assigned have been fair. I enjoyed the class.
She is very understanding of accommotations and is will to help in any way. She has a very clear teaching style. Does a great job organizing the material and connecting to our lives.
very down to earth teacher. I enjoy her style style. Follows the syllabus accordingly and I was satisfied with this class.
Thru the duration of this class last fall, Prof was prepared, thorough in explanations, and could engage and share how the lecture content relates to our own lives. This was the most fair course I've had.
She is good. But not so interactive.
I do like the way she teaches and does both assignment and test. sometimes spends too much time on one slide. explains to death.
no complaints. lectures followed the textbook really close so it was easy to follow along which I appreciated as a new student. gives lots of detail about papers. good review for both exams.
Wrote this final yesterday. Was moderate in difficulty. Definitely followed the review she gave, helped. I liked this course and thought she was a nice prof.
Dr Lee answer all the email I send. Vidoes are good so I can pause and replay to learn more. Assignment nice and have lot of information. I like learning about the nutrition.
she explained everything in great detail not leaving out any important explanations and was easy to ask questions too
She is disciplined in a good way. Clear on her role as teacher and our role as student. We know the expectations and are encouraged to do well. Personally loved the structure. Learned a lot cause her teaching is upbeat and engaging so the information sticks really well.
This professor is well organized, clear in her explanations and expectations. Zero surprises. Sticks to what she says so it's fair and no one gets special treatment. Lots of stories to make it interesting. Firm and kind. Exactly what a good university course should be. No free ride and you're taught what you're supposed to be taught.
Best teacher ever! Way of teaching is awesome. Kind and cooperative. Enthusiastic.
Jodi is informative, takes her time and does not rush getting through a topic. Always checks in with the class to be sure we are following what we are learning. Really liked her.
Professor does a great job providing content as needed and answers questions through email and in person thoroughly. Overall, good professor.
Jodi cares alot about the material as well as the students she's teaching. I would caution people to taking her use of the word 'causality' at face value. She comes across harder than she intends. Would recommend this to any 1000 level student so they can learn to follow syllabi/ instructions to a T.
I learn much from this professor. I like to find out about the eating and science of the food. It is very good science course to take. The assignment is good and the exam not to bad.
I took this as an online section and it was pretty good. lots of content but it's in vid lectures so you do get the explanations. def need to stay on top of it though or real hard to catch up. exams based completely on the lectures. book is stupid, need to pay for it to get a extra program to use. I think I'll end up with a decent grade B+ maybe.
Good course, very content heavy, you must put in the work. Gives a long list to review for tests. Thank god or I wouldn't have done as well as I did.
Great prof. Very clear expectations for assignments, and they were easy. Fair marker. Exams were fair and were not that hard for someone with a science background. Went over all content and posted slides online. Took the class asynch but she was super organized so it was great.
Excellent science credit to add to your program. Took it online and it's well organized. I personally like that she gives detailed slides and then explains them. That works for my type of learning style. Also like that there are actual lectures in this online one. Feels like you actually have an instructor.
EASIEST COURSE EVER.
This prof was supportive of students during the cyber attacks. Good communication and gave options to end the course. Understands students and gets the job done. I learned a lot.
This class was entirely about the textbook. Did some lame fill in the blank stuff as assignments, get 100%. Quizzes were based off the exact material so also get 100%. Excellent class to take with a heavy load since it's very light time-wise. No lectures, just book.
Overall I had a good experience with this course. Tests were fair and straightforward, all multiple choice and not cumulative. Textbook was the only source of learning.
SHe is a good prof cause she knows her stuff. Tests are reasonable but also hard.
Extremely hard grader especially for first year clasees. Rarely grades her own, gets TA's to grade. All assignments or exams worth 20% or higher.
very strict about grading criteria.
Had trouble with a paper but she was open to talking about it and fixed the problems.
Prof Lee's class is content-heavy, but she provides helpful resources like detailed slides and lecture videos. Unstuckstudy was a great study tool alongside the textbook. Overall, a solid science credit.
Tough Grading Criteria, Complicated, Lots of restrictions for the assignments.
super clear rubrics. just follow and fill in blanks. excellent science credit.
I enjoyed this class. It had a blend of tests and assignments which I prefer. Exams are harder than assignments. I learned personal stuff about health which was valuable.
The course is tougher than it needs to be. Lectures are heavy. Her markers are tough graders, she doesn't offer any leeway, and she rarely responds to emails. Wouldn't recommend.
Easy science class to boost your gpa
great course
online fill in the blank course. can do in your sleep.
This was such a lovely online experience. As a mature student, I appreciated the clear expectations and videos. It is important to keep up with the weekly lectures if you want to succeed. Jodi is knowledgeable and professional in her approach to this topic.
This is nice professor and helps alot. Funny sometimes.
There was a problem with the first test and Jodi rescheduled it for the following day with a large time frame to accommodate students. No one had to miss any classes for this test and she responded quickly given that she teaches fulltime. Students are such whiners. It happens and she fixed it.
health is a very easy course and you basically fill in the blanks of the assignments. there are then 4 tests, non-cum. Very organized and everything laid out. A nice online course with other heavier classes. basic stuff from high school.
she is a very tough grader i had a very difficult time with her
Explains things well and in a unique fashion. Be sure to write down the explanations as they do appear on the examinations. I found this to be an appropriate science class for an Arts student.
Nutrition is a heavy course but presented in a clear manner. Each chapter has a powerpoint deck and a detailed lecture. Exams are focused solely on the powerpoints so memorize those.
A good class
This class seems like it would be interesting but this prof makes sure you don't enjoy learning anything. The exams are so heavy on all her content and memorizing it all is basically impossible. Reaching out to her feels pointless as she will either take days to respond or make you feel stupid for reaching out
Very responsive to emails and questions. Lots of office hours. Adds extra post-test so you can review. Explains all her marking to you, but only if you ask. Does not review in class. A great overall expereince with this prof.
Super easy online course. Memorize the definitions and your good.
Super easy online course. Everything on the slides. Verbatim on the exams.
ALL THE EXAM QUESTIONS ARE GIVEN TO YOU
I enjoyed this class. Pleasant and responsive person. Lectures are refreshing.
Good spring course to take online. Study questions are provided and I suggest you memorize every detail of them cause that's the entire exam. Great sceince credit but don't think it's an easy one.
Lectures are required to attend however do nothing for the teaching and retention of course materials. Lecture materials feel like they are taught out of requirement rather than from a place of genuine interest and passion. Grading was a 3/10 overall however massive grade deductions as a result of small irrelevant errors were common.
practical and applied. variety of different asssements.
Lots of material to know but really good slides given. Does reviews. Gives examples. Decent sceince credit.
as a science major, this was an excellent class. Very well organized and easy to follow. Gives lots of hints on what will be on the exam. Says you need the textbook but you don't. Never used at all.
worst professor ever had gives mius marks to the assingment for which she has not even mention it.changes the exam patter 2 days before just so she is not geeting the questions.even if she doesnt get something asks her children about how to do so rather then us who are attending the class.
Don't suggest this prof at all. Tests are unorganized and gives little to no feedback during office hours. She does give practice questions which will sometimes appear on the test but not always.
Warns you on the first class that very few people will get an A, and she's right. Definitely not the hardest science you can take, but if you're looking to take an easy class to fulfill your science requirement, there's likely better choices. Very open to questions during class, make sure you read your textbook. Pretty average experience
good class. a lot of small assignments which can be annoying. interesting content. prof presents well.
hard class. pay attention.
This was my favourite class I have ever taken. You learn so much and it is also a lot of fun. Never had that before.
Prof is organized and knows what she's doing. Midterm and final are hard but fair. If she tells you you need to know it she means it.
I struggled in this class but Jodi was helpful in office hours and that made a big difference. She is quite literal so don't try to interpret her assignments in any way.
Took this online and it's very good. Her classes inclulde video lectures so you get what you ar e paying for. Not just chapters to read. Very basic information but there is alot of if and she likes details.
The tests are written answers and based on the powerpoints. Many of the pracice question are on the midterm and final. Fair and organized but also a lot to know. Don't procrastinate on this one. Recommend as a science cred for not science peopl
