Joe teaches you math like the way your highschool teacher taught you math. With pictures and stories. But, very very easy to follow, and is incredibly simple and clear. In this sense, he rocks as a lecturer.

Joe is an amazing man. May Gizzy follow in his footsteps the path to math teaching greatness. No one is as excited about integrals as Joe. No one else in their right mind should be excited about integrals.

Awesome prof - I hate calculus and he made it easy to understand and clear (he got so excited we worried about his heart). If you get old exams they are pretty much the same, maybe changes the numbers around a bit, but it's useful. Easy to go to lectures with him!

he was ok. i naturally get math so maybe im not a good judge. i found i got bored because for me he moved to slow but i can see it being very helpful for those who dont get it as easily. oh but sometimes he'll got too slow thru the lecture and then rush thru the last couple examples that are naturally more difficult to understand.

Professor Cunsolo is very clear and concise, and fantastic at explaining things. Very good for a first year course. He's extremely approachable ouside of class, and will sit down and help you understand whatever it is. I recommend him fully. The quizzes/midterms/exam are very fair, and he prepares you to do well on them. Very funny too!

He was really good at explaining things and made useful notes, but whenever we were behind he would rush through it and lose us all. You CAN NOT miss class or you will be ten pages behind and clueless.

"Always always" hehe Cunsolo is the awesome! :) especially when he points randomly to one part of the room (with 600 people in it) and says "Hey you with the glasses!" LOL anyways he's a pretty clear prof and funny at times too

He was soooo awesome! Such a good prof, really easy to understand and super helpful, awesome man.

No matter what the material, he's very consistent in his style of teaching and clarity and patience. Passionate for mathematics and funny in a cute way. He referred to himself as Q-tips as a balding white haired person when we talked about function relation between driver's age and # of car accidents. you won't get bored!

Very easy prof to understand. He has some funny mannerisms ("always, always always"), but that actually adds to the lectures.

Very easy professor with hilarious mannerisms. He sometimes gets lost and confused in his errors, but otherwise really knows his stuff about teaching and calculus. He is an example of how teachers should be

I almost failed calculus in high school, so imagine my surprise when I walked out of university calc with an 80! Some days I had a hard time following him, but he was sure to tell us what would be on the midterms and final. He is easy to listen to and his little mannerisms always made me laugh.Great prof.

"Low and behold..." He was an awesome prof and explained things very well; I strongly recommend taking this course if you're interested in calculus at all!

Prof Cunsolo is AWESOME ! he's very helpful too, you can go to his office and ask him materials that you don't understand and he will explain it to you clearly ! He's also funny !

Genuinely sweet prof who cares about the students. His "long behold!" & "oh shame on me!" remarks never got old! But I found it almost impossible to stay awake through an entire lecture. Math @ 8:30 AM with Cunsolo for 1.5 hours was a bad combo. Felt like he was singing me a lullaby with mathematical terms. Thank god for those course notes though.

Good prof.I would recommend taking his class though he suddenly goes fast during lecture so stay tuned lol

The greatest prof ever! he's so enthusiastic, funny and approachable! The course material is so easy, and he explains it so well if you don't understand.

love love love him. the cutest nicest professor there is! the actual class can seen to drag on but he is always very happy and cheerful.

SO nice and knowledgeable. He makes little jokes in class to make us laugh and they're cute. Love him!
