joe haigler: hmmm...this guy is fun n easy although not tha knowledgeable in his field...in fact, i had 2 correct him sooo many tymez...seems a lil confused bout his own religion Christianity...but overall, a gr8 teacher w/a gr8 personality!! keep up da excellent work :)

I loved Mr. Haigler...very enthusiastic and happy go lucky. His tests aren't completely easy, but if you study, your notes especially, you'll do fine. He usually would hint at things for us to study extra hard on and they would end up being the essays.

This man is so ALIVE!! Beautiful & basically has a very good heart. Understanding and very intelligent. Knows his subject and treats everyone fairly. Does not like you being late. Also, VERY VERY attractive. Yeah, he's hot hot heat!!

Mr. Haigler is an awesome guy. He is very open minded and very articulate in his thoughts. He's a great teacher, but most of all he was a really good person to talk to after class. I really enjoyed every class with him and he was not a tough grader on papers either.

He is a good teacher. If you do the writing assignments, do the optional assignments, one religion service report, two major tests which are not that bad except on eastern religons, other than that, you will get an A for the class. Excellent teacher.

very funny guy. If you are kind to him, he will be kind to you. He will do whatever it takes to make sure you pass the class. He like to talk with student about different thing after class.

This is one of those teachers that you need to try to take no matter what. HE'S AWESOME! He mixes things up so he's not up there lecturing every day, that gets old fast. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HIS EXTRA CREDIT. Believe me it'll help you. If he sees that you are putting forth an effort in his class he will work with you. He likes detail.

I LOVE MR HAIGLER! He's easily the nicest professor Ive ever had. He has a very fatherly appearance, and if you ever have a problem, he's willing to work with you. Im taking another class of his this fall

Mr. Haigler is a great person. His class is not an easy "A" you have to work. He only gives two test a mid-term and a final, which is ok because he spend the rest of the time helping you to understand. His class is very interactive. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT ASSIGNMENT, IT WILL HELP A LOT. He is very funny, you will enjoy religion. GREAT TEACHER!!!!!!!

2nd class i've had with him. he's like a father figure, very sweet. you can just go to his office and hang out. great personality, very encouraging. not terribly easy, but not hard either. you can't just bs ur way thru his class, you'll have to work. if you DO work, it'll pay off. deff one of the best teachers at wake tech, hands down.

Points are assigned to obtain grade. He is a great teacher and, if you study, the exams are a breeze. He is definitely an intelligent teacher. Take REl 110 with Joe Haigler!

I took him for both Old and New Testament. I loved both classes. He is one of my favorite teachers so far. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

I have Mr. Haigler for Intro to New Testament. He is a very cool teacher when it come to your papers, and you won't be to board during lecture...lol. Here is for extra credit...hot.

Wonderful teacher. One of those teachers that knows a little about everything, and if there is something he doesnt know, he'll find out for you. Best teacher at Wake Tech by far.

eazy A class. if you do everything he tells u to do then ur perfect. we had only 2 take home test which both were easssssy!!!! pretty slack class...i didnt even buy a book for that and hardly ever took notes but still passed with an A..and he is big on extra credit.

i love mr haigler. u have to be really really lazy to fail the class; if u do the assignments and hand them in on time u'll get full credit. he is very easy on the eyes, so he makes religion seem very fun. he is so nice and approachable. we got take home test and a bunch of extra credit. mr haigler is an awesome teacher

Mr. Haigler so far has been the best professor that I have had in college. He is straight foward and just wants you to earn your grade. If you do not read ahead in Religion212, you will be lost. He expects you to do your part, which is only fair. He is also funny and has a different sense of humor. His class was the most enjoyable. Take him!!!!

Mr. Haigler was a great teacher. We learned alot and had a lot of class discussions. Is willing to help you out if you need it, would recommend him for HUM 220...but be prepared to do the reading!

Awesome teacher.Just show up, listen, read the book(for quizzes).Funny,interesting, helpful,a real person.Can tell he was a hottie. Still is for being older. Highly recommend him.

He will bust your butt on his weekly quizzes. He does not vary in the slightest from the syllabus and is merciless in grading. Only ONE extra credit assignment the entire semester - you better use it! All semester people would say, "I didn't know it was due.." Too bad for them! Think hard before taking Mr. Haigler...

Do not waste Mr. Haigler's time if you are not willing to work. Course has become difficult due to comments about not needing text book for class. He grades essay's using MLA format and also for quality of research. Mid term and Final exams moderately difficult, study for both of these exams. If you want about Christianity I recommend his course.

Mr. Haigler is cool...he will help you and grades rather easy on the papers. The books I personally didn't like. However I would offer some constructive criticism as a student that has had him. It does not sit well wit some students when bias's from the teacher come out towards a specific group of people. Teacher's are supposed to be objective.

Joe Haigler is a good teacher and knows how to communicate the material well. I ended up with a D in the class, but dont let that fool you. I did not try hard and never formatted the papers in MLA like he said. I showed up every once in a while and never read (or even bought the book) he is a great teacher though . TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

DO ONE OR A FEW "OPTIONAL" ASSIGNMENTS!! They are pretty easy and fun. If I had done just one I would have had enough points for a B. Very cool and informed teacher. Knows his stuff! I really enjoyed this class. Oh, and he reads these posts...Hi Mr. Haigler. Cheers.

Very good teacher. Relies on class participation, which is very refreshing but beware if your class has a tendency to run quiet. Focuses on a more holistic approach to religion as opposed to extreme attention to detail.

Mr Haigler is an awesome teacher and just a good human being. You have to do the journals but they're a great way to learn about yourself. If you have to take HUM220-take it with him!

He's a sweetheart, very Hot....and know's his stuff! If you don't learn anything from him, you will learn this..."Atman is Brahman" He says it a million times every class period.haha...great teacher!:)

I absolutely loved Mr Haigler's Humanities 220 class! We had round table table discussions each week which allowed us as a class to really get to know one another. Mr Haigler was both helpful and fun. I highly recommend taking any of his classes!

GREAT teacher!! He is not the easiest teacher, but he makes class fun and interesting and is one of the best teachers that I have had at Wake Tech. We discussed this site and his hotness rating in class, and even though I am a male who is not attracted to Mr. Haigler I gave him one b/c I know that the ladies love this spicy Sam Elliot look-alike.

From Hinduism to Islam Joe Haigler is the man. i never thought about him as a teacher he was more as a friend to me. he had increased my knowledge in a way i didnt really expect. Best teacher ever.

this instructor is wonderful, for you to enjoy his class you need to read the book, participate, and correctly follow his rubric. try not to give him a hard time; otherwise, you will loose the beauty of this class. Never was boring. 1 med-term, 7 quizzes, a research paper, and a final exam. You cant hate Mr. Haigler.

Over all, Mr. Haigler was a really laid back easy-going teacher. He is a pleasure to be around. The text are boring and some students ended taking cat naps from the boringness of the books. As a professor he is awesome and quite understanding. I wish he taught all my classes. Do ALL you readings and assignments and you should get an A. He was great

This teacher is the best teacher that I have ever seen. Wonderful and very knowledgeable man. He says read the book all semester but no one does and most of us gets an A's. That doesn't mean that you don't study but rather making the study fun in class and paying attention. I will definitely take his class again.

Yes, this teacher keeps you busy, but I have never loved a class more than this one! I learned so much about myself and other religions around me. The Instructor responded to my emails fast and he was VERY helpful. Great Instructor!!!

Nice, funny, and informative teacher but makes the class too hard. The big project for the class is an interview paper. If you don't know anybody too religious then you're completely out of luck. Would prefer several different options for the assignment. Otherwise no complaints.

Mr. Haigler is a really great instructor. He gave clear feedback for each assignment. If you do not do it well, he will give you a chance. You will be fine in this class.

Online class. Can use ebook. Online assignments are quickly posted to BB. Homework is normal. Instructor can be reached and responds quickly. Clear grading and assignments which is great for online. No issues, no stress, log on, complete assignments and pass class.

Mr. Haigler is not only very passionate about his work, but he is kind and willing to help any student who needs it. If you do the reading, listen to the lectures and find "real world" examples as he calls them , you will pass this class with flying colors. All you need to do is participate and turn your work in on time.

Mr. Haigler was one of the most fun and enjoyable professors I have had. He posts the PowerPoints online so you can just listen during class. You do end up doing small group assignments during class, but just for participation. We had interesting discussions. He is also very understanding if you have to miss class for a legitimate reason.

HUM115-Critical Thinking. It is kind of philosophy adjacent. Haigler is awesome. He is willing to carefully approach controversial topics. You don't need to buy the online part for the textbook. We worked in groups during class a lot, but it was pretty simple stuff. If he gives an extra credit option, DO IT! It might get you 10 points on a test.

Professor Haigler is very kind and funny. It was my first semester at Wake Tech and his class was easy. He will have group participation assignments but it's not a big deal if you miss one or two. What I like about him most is he takes the time to go over exercises make sure you understand the material well. I have enjoyed taking his class.

Mr. Haigler is probably my favorite teacher I've had at Wake Tech. I took him for both Humanities and Religions, and he is just wonderful. He is very easy to approach, his lectures are hilarious, and he gives great lectures. Take him!!

This online class is perfect for someone with a busy schedule. There was plenty of time given to complete assignments. The critical essay was graded hard, and the mid term and final require a good amount of studying. The weekly assignments were easy,( Learn smart), chapter quizzes easy as well, and you can take them twice. I recommend this class!

This class was the best! it's really easy. Quizzes, midterm and final are all online and they are directly from the book. if you just pay attention in class you don't even need the book. He is a really nice guy and will understand if you need more time on assignments. No homework except for when a class is canceled and you get a 100 if you try.

Fun class! I highly recommend you form a study group in the class. There are online quizzes. Use his office hours and tutoring hours! There is some extra credit.

Great class! Mr. Haigler wasn't too harsh on grading assignments which is great. He is also super respectful of everyone and their religions that they practice (or don't practice). He also offers some extra credit. I definitely would recommend this class to anyone who is considering it!

One of my favorite professors at Wake Tech. The material is a little weird and difficult to understand but Professor Haigler does an excellent job at breaking it down to understand. Also, he understands that life happens. He gives when it's needed. I would definitely have him as a professor again if he taught a class that I needed.

The class felt more difficult than it was because of so much grey area around the concepts, but Prof H was great about clarifying questions I missed on tests via email. I wish he taught more classes required in my curriculum.

Prof. Haigler is one of the best professors I have ever taken. I would take the class again just for the fun of it. He places a heavy emphasis on not just the history of religion, but of how it effects everyday life and the modern interaction of religions. I cannot recommend him enough.

He is such a great teacher. I took his online class and he did not make us write any essays. Instead, we had to video presentations which were so much easier! The meeting was not mandatory but I went anyway. He is a really kind man and I respect him in every single way. The class is so easy too with no pressure.

Still have to do the final exam so hope my grade stays an A but it's a pretty straightforward class for grading. Also, I had an issue with one of the assignments, I just couldn't do it for personal reasons, and he was very kind and understanding and allowed me to do an alternative instead of taking a 0.

Solid dude but literally has to bring politics into everything, if you are republican don't go into his seated class, he will call you out and make jabs and remarks. Felt like his political beliefs took away from the actual content of the class and that's saying a lot considering me and him have the same beliefs

He is a good teacher overall. Nice and easy going, but the class can get boring at times. He says little with too much words. Some assignments are confusing and sometimes he can be a tough grader too. I still believe his class is enjoyable and easy to pass if you pay attention. He takes the time to explain further if you dont understand too.
