He's nice. go to class because he gets mad when there's low attendance. if you have to skip you better email him beforehand and then you can make up what you missed. Easy grader and knows what he's talking about, however the class puts me to sleep.

Hes awesome, he def. knos his $#!T. Hes had so much experience, *LISTEN IN CLASS*(no matter how boring it gets)& u will not have 2 study. Not even 4 the final.(which was only 50pts. 10 short answers)Ask him about the super glue kid story. hes a funny guy.

This guy has been around so long he knows everything. Has an awesome sense of humor. However I do get the impression he plays favorites. Doesnt matter though, take him if you can.

McSparran is a nice guy. The class is very easy, just make sure you get assignments in on time and don't skip class. McSparran has a lot of experience in the field, and seems to have a passion for education. I would really suggest taking this class.

best class I had all semester. Take him if you can- he knows what he's talking about and loves to teach. His tests are easy if you read over your notes... just make sure you come to class! Seriously. You can tell how much he hates it when people skip...

He's def. a nice guy. I thought his test were ok, they weren't easy, but they weren't hard either. Mostly true and false, which is tricky. Otherwise i liked the class. Pretty easy.

Don't skip class! nice guy until you need his help and if you've skipped class a couple of times don't expect him to help. Definatly plays favorites. not my favorite prof but good as long as u stay on his good side all semester

Dr McSparran is absolutely awesome! He has tons of experience and shares it with the class. He recognizes that grad students have other responsibilities and doesn't require an ungodly amount of work. His tests are fair. I would definitely recommend him to other students contemplating taking one of his courses.

He is so so so nice. He is a great professor, and knows how to keep you interested, so the class isn't boring at all. Somehow he made my 8AM class my favorite class & the only class I haven't skipped yet!

He is an awesome teacher. He keeps you interested at 8am. He doesnt give alot of work either, and his tests are fair and everything covered in class. He is understanding if you miss a class as long as you let him know.

You're not going to find a more knowledgeable or experienced professor in the field, seemed to take a genuine interest in the success of all of us. Don't fall asleep in class though (even if it is 8AM) and make sure you let him know in advance of any absences; email is fine (don't expect a reply). Really glad I had him for my 1st EDU class.

Dr. McSparran is an amazingly intelligent, kind, considerate,compassionate and extremely knowledgeable professor. I would highly recommend taking his graduate level courses as they are immensely informative as well as enjoyable. The group work done in class (case studies, scenarios, etc.) are very helpful. This man is fantastic educator.

Doctor McSparran is a nice guy, he knows his stuff. His class is interesting and you learn alot about the educational field. His tests can be a little rough at first, but after the first one you always improve. The ed in the news articles are easy 10 pointers.

He's a really cool guy. Tests seem to be kinda hard at times but if you study the material youll be fine. Theres also easy hw assignments occasionally. He's a good pick.

talk, talk, talk, talk; that's all he does some clases. Tests are easy and reports are even easier b/c he does not read them. Nice guy and very understanding, gives quizzes but you don't need to study for them if you show up for class.

Mcsparan is awesome! he is such a good teacher. I really think that his classes are interesting. Just make sure you participate in them because participation is 100 points by the end of the semester. There are 4 tests, a 5 page paper, and 5 little one page report. It really is an easy class and he makes it worth going to.

AWESOME TEACHER! Easy. If you participate, take notes, and do the little bit of assignments you get an easy A. The tests come straight from the notes. He is a sweet guy with a cheery diposition. Take him if you can and if not you are missing an awesome ed prof.

Dr. M is entertaining and educational. He knows his stuff well and has practiced what he preaches as a teacher and administrator. Showing up for class can be the difference between an A and a B. Nice guy that cares about his students. I hope I can be a teacher like him. Take him if you can.

i switched into this class before i knew the professor AND im so glad i did classes are always interesting 4 tests 5 1-page papers and a philosophy ppr always very cheery tests straight from notes if you dont have at least one class with this guy your totally missing out!!! i always look forward to his class

Ed. Psych. TAKE THIS CLASS! He's an amazing prof! I missed 2 exams b/c I was away & it was no problem making them up. As long as you show up & take notes the tests are easy. He WANTS everyone to get A's & is always there to assist. All-around amazing prof.

Dr. McSparran is well-intentioned, but teaches mainly from experience. Do not expect to learn any theory or domain. Discussion-based course makes testing difficult and somewhat subjective. Attendance mandatory, many grades.

Dr. McSparran is a wonderful prof. He really does know what he's talking about and is extremely pleasant. Take him if you can! You won't regret it.

Dr. McSparran is the best! He is a genuinely great person and wants us to do well. Class is not bad, mostly lecture with assignments due every once in a while and a few tests and quizzes. Once we all bombed a test and he made the next one super easy for us. Doesn't call on you unless you raise your hand! Overall, a good teacher and recommended.

Dr. McSparran is by far my favorite prof. He is knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his students. He understands the processes of learning and wants you to succeed. Absolutely recommend.

Absolutely amazing professor. Although he's an older man, he definitely uses that to his advantage. He really knows what he's talking about. Gives pop quizzes, but eventually you can kind of predict when they are. Attendance is mandatory, but you'll definitely do better in the class if you show up. Great professor. Very helpful. Tell him if you are going to be absent, or are too sick to get to class. Several easy assignments, take good notes, common sense questions on tests. Participating in class is easy and advantageous.

He is the nicest man at KU. His class was actually enjoyable to go to, even at 8 am. We had interesting discussions and tests and assignments were easy. Textbook isnt needed. I would definitely recommend taking him!

easiest teacher probably at this school. he was nice and funny. i totally loved him. also his tests are word for word with the notes so as long as you write it down you'll be fine. he takes attendence everyday so show up. the materials basically all common sence, its a really easy course. also you never use the book. ever. its a waste of money.

Dr. McSparran is my favorite professor thus far at Kutztown University. He is beyond helpful, very clear with what he wants from you, and very easy to understand. He has a terrific personality and genuinely wants to see his students do well. No final in the class, but you do write a paper worth 100 points.(Not difficult if you follow the rubric).

Supercool prof, he has a lot of experience and loves to tell stories. def COME TO CLASS bc exams are lecture-based. and dont waste your money on the book, you wont use it.

He is very interesting the class is very interactive. Takes attendence so you must be there. The first test was diffcult but they do get easier in the end make you you know the videos and the dates and number of what and when thhings happened. The papers are difficult and good grammer is mandatory.

LOVED him! and the class! He likes people who raise there hands and participate, He has MANY funny stories and knows a TON about education. I would take him again in a heart beat! Make sure you go to class and do not arrive late! He gives out some pop quizzes but there not very hard if you listen during class.
