He is good, really really good! His class is easy. He is funny and interesting. Although he is Korean, he does not have any accent at all. Easy A in his class!

Decent prof, he's easily distracted & will go on strange tangents for 10-15 mins. but at least he teaches. It's probably the best you can get at HCC. Final exam is easy but his exams really make you think. Read the book, go to class, pay attention and you will make an A. He has a good sense of humor and will make class interesting.

Uses interesting real world examples to explain key points. Sometimes does stray from the topic at hand. He's engaging and energetic, you won't fall asleep in his class. Bonus that he goes over the test and grades very fairly!

He is entertaining and enthusiastic about teaching. He has love for the subject. He is a fair grader who will be understanding. A non-judgmental person who loves life and seems to be full of life. He made an intro level class quite interesting and memorable.

Wonderful teacher, i never fell asleep, he has alot of discussions which bothers me cuz im shy but they r so quick u want notice. I do not even know where to start. This man is wonderful. I had an interest in psychology before I walked into his class but he completely makes you love it. His class will be a complete piece of cake, only if you go over the study sheet, and STUDY IT. I had a blast with him and can honestly say he is the best teacher I've ever had. We all love hi.

He doesn't really teach from the book. 95% of his tests cover his lectures and the othe 5% cover various things chapter by chapter. He encourages group discussion and makes the subject fun and easy comprehend. I would definitely recommend him!!!

Took him online for a 5-week summer course. The subject itself was really easy to study, & he's very good. You have to study the assigned chapters, 5 quizzes (3 attempts allowed, takes the highest,25% of final grade) 5 tests (60%, 1 attempt allowed) and a paper (15%). No reviews, you have to use the quizzes as your guide to what's important.

He is awesome! He is soooo much fun and he is so nice! He makes the class fun and he makes learning a lot easier. You don't need to ask questions because he says something once and you understand it. He is the coolest professor ever!!

I took Mr. Moon for physc and he was actually really cool on how he taught and reviewed for exams overall a great teacher.Fun teacher,gets what needs to be done,done.Wish I could take another course w/ him.We only had one essay and lots of lots,easy to study,just make effort. Professor Moon is a very good professor. I took his online class and it was not that bad. You do have to study prior to taking the exams because they are timed. There are 8 quizzes, 5 exams, and 1 essay. I highly recommend Professor Moon, you will not regret it.

Not an easy "A". You get all semester to complete the 9 quizzes, best of 3 attempts for each; the 3 tests are harder, get 1 hour for 50 questions. There are a few discussions which are NOT graded. There was no review for midterm & after much asking the review for the final was posted the afternoon prior to the test weekend.O_o Got a "C", not cool

He doesn't give you all those long powerpoints or lectures. he teachers through his quiz and they are very easy and give you 3 attempts so you should make a 100 Exams are easy and every question is based on the quiz,and 1 easy essay. Mr. Moon is an incredible teacher. I really enjoyed taking his online class. He is really paying attention to our work and wants us to succeed. Make sure you really read the instructions he's given. Deadlines are exact so make sure you pay good attention. Do the practice quizzes, you will ace the tests if you do. The textbooks help the quizzes.

Great professor, people here be saying he should start talking about his life and start teaching, well this is a lifespan class so he uses examples of his life for the class duh. He makes the class feel comfortable to participate and he's got great jokes. His class is so good i would recommend to take it even if the credit isn't needed TAKE HIM!!!

Your life lessons and the way to spoke about the topics in the class grabbed my attention and made me much more interested in the subject more than i already was. Your use of humor really brought up the spirits in the room unlike other classes that seem devoid of life, and i loved how you actually talked to us during class.

Professor Moon is very kind and understanding. The only thing I didn't like about his class is that for each test you are given 50 or 60 minutes to answer 50 questions. Also, I did not have to buy a textbook for his class, it's an ebook that can be found on his syllabus.

Joe Moon is by far the best teacher I have had through my whole career of education. If I did not know any better I would have thought he knew the meaning of "life", which a lot of people find hard to answer. His assignments include some writing but he does not grade like other teachers, Joe Moon ACTUALLY has something to say in response!

Awesome teacher! He not only is a teacher but also a good person to bounce life questions off of. He does ask you to participate in his class discussions to earn your points but I found it very easy to find something to ask about or relate to. The hardest thing about that class for me, was the setup of the class website and accessing it.

I took an 8 week online 5 test, 5 short paragraphs. Clear syllasbus Excellent line of communication. I didn't use textbook but I know it would help if I had it for my test. Most of the test were knowing the definition of key termsoverall got and A super well structure class

Great Professor, heavy reading however it is a very interesting course. Discussions are great real life lessons on various topics and must submit feedback based on them. Very easy, just need to ensure you are present for the Discussion days. Other days are mainly overview on what the next test which is also extremely informative and helpful.

Professor Moon's discussions are pretty useful for your future but not so much for the course. Nonetheless, Professor Moon discusses very thought-provoking topics and gives great feedback to discussion posts. His class is very easy and enjoyable. He is a great person. The only gripe I can think of is him going off on a tangent on test review days.

Prof Moon is an amazing instructor. His grading criteria is clear; The discussion q's were simple but did require some input; Lastly the exams were pretty straight forward. If you focus carefully on the key terms he provides you with you will have no trouble and will fly through the course. Overall i really did enjoy this online course!(:

Pay attention to statistical numbers. He likes to ask questions like, "What percentage of women report being abused?" A few of his test questions can be a bit unclear or too elaborated. It would be nice if he kept his instructions and tests clear and concise. 5 wk course was not too difficult. 5 tests and 5 discussions all 10 pts each. A is doable

I took Professor Moon for a mini-mester in May, it requires a lot of reading. The quizzes are very helpful and informative. I enjoyed the class and the discussions we had. I wish he taught at UHD. The answers are not googable so make sure to read the chapters, familiarize yourself with the key terms and take detailed notes of the quizzes.

I took Mr. Moon for Summer 1, all in all, he was a good professor 5 test 5 discussion. We where given practices quizzes for the test which were helpful, the course does require a lot of reading. The discussions were interesting and thought-provoking I definitely recommended this professor he cares for his students.

Took this as a summer class: 5 discussions, 5 exams. I really hated the format of the exams. You can't return to a question once you go to the next question. Exams ranged from 30 - 35 questions with 45 minutes to take them. Very nerve-racking. The discussions were interesting & thought-provoking. They're the best part of the class. Wouldn't retake

I accidently bought the wrong textbook, and I couldn't afford to get the right one, so I didn't actually have it, but I got a B, so easy class. It was a 5 week course with a discussion and test every week. The discussions were an easy 10 points a piece and the tests were fairly easy. Double check your answers on the tests and it's an easy A

I took him for a winter mini-session; course load was light for a 3-week course. He is very responsive and gives incredible feedback. The textbook the chapters were short and straight to the point, unlike other educational books. I did not expect to learn primarily from an online class. I regret not taking him for 2301. I took Prof. Moon's online class. We used the textbook, which is where the tests focus are. He provided us with key terms. We participated in discussions on great topics. If you don't read the syllabus, the intro module, and announcements, you will miss important information on how to get a perfect score. Great person and cares about his students.

Professor Moon is the GOAT . Ive taken both General & Developmental Psychology online with him. Hes very CLEAR on his expectations. If you need help with anything, his emails are always open & he responds within 2 hours max (my experience) . For General Psych, theres about 4 exams & 1 essay. Just read the book & take notes and you got it!

This class is 5 short replies on in-class discussions. 4 tests and one final exam. The reviews are similar to the tests. Everything is done on Canvas. This professor was really funny and had us all think deep about life topics. It was fun and he really cares to help you succeed. Textbook is a must. Ordering an online textbook is your best option.

Professor Moon is awesome. I took his class online/anytime so there was a lot of reading involved. But he did offer the class "office hours" once a week where he would actually go through the chapters and give you a mini-review which is way more than any online professor has ever done for me. You do have to put in the effort but he was great.

Dr. Moon is a great professor his assignments were fairly easy if you study the terms and flash cards he provides. During the winter storm he was very understanding and gave us room to turn in our assignments. Some trick answer choices on the Tests, but if you really study there wont be an issue. Definitely take this professor.

Awesome professor, amazing, in-depth lectures too. He does expect you to participate in lectures but that wasn't an issue for me. There isn't much homework other than the discussions and exams. Very easy stuff too. Practice quizzes and study material are reflected in his exams. You don't have to do the quizzes and study work but it comes in handy.

I took Mr. Moon class Psyc 2301 years ago & Psyc 2314 summer 2021. Just read the PDF file. His testes are based on the book and he makes his own sentences for you to understand what they mean on the quizzes/Testes. Hes a Cool �� teacher!! He is very knowledgeable!! Dr. Moon is one of THE BEST you can find in HCC. I took his online class with no meetings, but he held meetings every Tuesday just so we get to interact with each other and those meetings were really helpful. I would 100% recommend you to take him.

Professor Moon has a deep & genuine care for students. I took his online class but he took the time to set up extra video meetings to go over content/have an open dialogue. The discussion posts he assigns are relevant to real-life. He breaks down what you'll need to know for his class and provides resources outside of the textbook.

The lectures aren't really lectures, its more for the discussion board. To study for exams, you will need to look at the videos he posts on canvas and read the textbook. However, it's a fairly easy course if you put in the work.

He also utilizes slang, so newer generations or those not aquainted with formal speech would be able to understand. Gives great basic starter tips such as finance, relationships, etc.
