Amazing teaching style!! Involves the students and really get you interested in the class. I have never fallen asleep in his class. He teaches lecture style but he uses power point presentations, overhead projections and he even writes notes on the board.

He is one amazing professor/teacher. He makes you really want to learn.I still remember what he has taught me. His teaching styles are what will intrige you to attend his class. This Man is a God!

Grisham is a highly effective professor who really knows his stuff. He is influential and fun, too. The course covers several interesting prospectives for all students. No one should miss out on this class before leaving IRCC.

Great teacher. Very understanding. I had him for two classes early in the morning and he was able to keep me awake. Has a great personality. Make sure you read the text books. His test can be hard. I would recommend him to everyone.

Took an online Soc class, was very informative and responded promptly to email or phone calls. Great instructor! Very dynamic when I met him in person.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. He is passionate about what he teaches, he is willing to go to lengths to help students, and he makes everything into easy lectures though reading the book is essential to the tests. I would absolutly recommend this teacher.

Dr. Grisham is an awesome teacher. He loves to teach and makes the class interesting and easy to follow. His tests are not that hard, but you MUST read all of the chapters to do really well on them. He is funny, too. I would recommend him to everyone for psychology.

I loved Professor Grisham's class! I took the class once a week for 2 and a half hours and still truly enjoyed it. The topic itself is interesting and his teaching style really enhances the information. Stay on top of the reading and pay attention and the tests shouldn't be too hard.

I took this class online, and found the class to be very interesting. The tests are fairly difficult, but if you spend enough time studying, they aren't too bad.

Prof. Grisham is very easy to understand and even gives page numbers to study for the exams. We had 5 tests including the exam and one paper. If you don't get an A you should give up. :)

Excellent prof. Class was so much fun. His stories and in class demo's had us cracking up. Class and exams were really easy. Very nice guy who likes his job and is very good at it. If you have to take psychology take his class you will love it.

I took PSY2012 and DEP2004 with him and absolutley loved it!! He is the BEST!! If you study, and come to class, you will do great! The tests are challenging if you don't come to class!

I took both psych and sociology on line, got A's in both. actually went on vacation during 2 sections prior to test and because his study notes were so good had no problems, even though Vegas is not the best study enviroment.I Cant imagine how anyone has trouble in his classes, he basicly tells you exactly what to study for the tests.

He is a cool teacher. He has fun with the class. However, he does not cover a'lot of what is on his exams. He goes way to fast in class and it can become hard to keep up with his lecture as you take his notes off the board. He offers extra credit but in the end it means nothing. He only adds the credit to your grade if he feels like it, unfair!

Don't pass this class up. He is the single best teacher I have had, he likes to go off on rants about how to better yourself. It's all true though. His passion for psychology comes out and encourages students. He is a bit challenging but the class is so fun, it doesnt matter.

I swear, you'll want to learn much more on the subject of psychology after this class. It's a lot of fun. A lot of what you need to know for the test, is applied psychology. Also you'll need to read the textbook for some questions on the test. But the class is great, and he is a very passionate professor. He takes an interest in his students.

I took this class online. He is extremely inspirational. His outlines clearly state what you should study for the exam. His class is based on 4 exams and a term paper. Extra credit opportunities will get you a better grade so do them if you can.

I took Dr. Grisham for Human Development and he is wonderful. He keeps the class interesting and makes you want to learn. His test were easy as long as you followed the notes given in and class and read the chapters.

Took Online for Summer I. He gives you a detailed study guide & outline for the chapters and tests. Extra Credit opportunities are available for each Test and the Paper. Wonderful communication. No reason not to get an A.

Took this after a serious illness and found it difficult but his teaching style is dynamic and keeps the class interesting and fast paced. He not only teaches the subject but also teaches students about themselves. It is however not an easy course, you will have to put some effort into it.

This class has been one of my favorites! He always keeps things interesting. The class wasn't very hard, plus we were able to get extra credit.

Mr. Grisham truly loves his area of study. He taught at the US Air Force academy for some years and is well traveled. His class was very interesting, I suggest a seat up front, otherwise lectures/slide shows seem incredibly boring. The tests are difficult, I suggest studying vocab more than anything else. Your class was awesome Mr.Grisham!

I took 2 classes with Dr. Grisham about 14 years ago. I still consider him one of the best teachers I ever had, and have recommended him to my 3 oldest children as they've attended IRSC. He is dynamic and interesting. I even remember examples he gave in a piece on memory, where he had us memorize a grocery list and the tub was full of bread, lol

Love him. Took psychology & sociology w/ him. He's very supportive of his students and he's very down to earth. I'd recommend him all the way. He's a very sharp guy.

. Everything the person said below me is pretty much what you need to know. PSY2012 is a difficult course (got a C in it) but I learned so many different things coming out of it. If you want an A, you HAVE to READ the book EVERY DAY and do multiple online study guides. Even though i got a c, I don't think I've ever had a more interesting class.

I'm surprised to see a lot of people saying they thought it was easy. I felt that it was very challenging. Grisham's tests are by far very challenging, but he is by far the best professor I have had at IRSC. He actually makes you learn and actually makes you want to come to class. His scenarios, explanations, and lectures are remarkable. Smart man

Great professor who knows how to teach well enough and keeps the classes relatively interesting. Course and grade format isn't flexible and makes heavy use of the text. Would have been better if it wasn't so standardized. But if you want an at least somewhat engaging class and good professor, this should do the trick.

An amazing teacher! I took him online (SYG2000) and had no problems. His study guides are clear and he offers extra credit with each test (and his test are fair-no tricks). If you read the book, you will pass. His emails are always positive and uplifting. The book for this course is also very interesting and well written. You won't be disappointed.

For me, it was a hard class. Ended up getting a C in the class because I bombed the first exam. There is a paper, but you don't have to do it. Looking back I should have done it. But he is by far the best teacher at IRSC. He makes the class more exciting then you could ever imagine, and it's because of him I'm now minoring in psychology.

Took the class online and passed with a C. Barely used the textbook because of the boring layout of the information. Mr. Grisham is a good teacher though, he has e-flashcards, practice quizzes & tests, and there's always extra credit. I really appreciated that. I highly recommend taking his class !

I took sociology online and enjoyed it. Dr. Grisham is a good teacher. His Angel page was set up nicely and he had several study guides/aids available. He was always quick to reply to emails and was very helpful and kind. He also offered a bit of extra credit on each exam. I got an A with a fair amount of effort. I'd take a class with him again.

A GREAT professor!! He interacts with the class during his lectures and they are very clear. He is extremely helpful and nice. Its an easy A if you read and go over all the material. There is ALOT of reading though, but the material is interesting. He also lets you retake the tests in groups to get extra credit. I HIGHLY recommend him.

This class was great. The instructor was extremely helpful, but if you are not up for a time consuming course, then do not sign up with this instructor. However, if you are willing to take the time to read the text book, do the online quizzes, and study, you will love this class!

Great professor, everything a professor should be. I highly recommended professor Grisham. Its apparent that he enjoys teaching and is fascinated by psychology. He is willing to answer any questions after class and his lectures are entertaining and informative. The class itself is demanding, but this is to be expected; it is college, after all.

Wonderful teacher. He is fair, helpful and more than generous with ways to improve your grade. Reading the material is mandatory to pass the class, but don't worry it's easy to comprehend and he goes over everything on the test. Do yourself a favor and take this amazing teacher!

I took Dr. Grisham's course online. He was extremely organized and responded promptly to emails. In my opinion he went beyond the call of duty as far as reminders and suggestions about testing. A caution: Some questions on the quizzes and exams come word for word from the text but if you only skim the material you won't know it. READ IT ALL!!

Dr. Grisham was great, I really enjoyed his class and felt like I actually learned something. His tests were easy and he really prepared you for them, I wish I would've taken him for sociology too. The book really helped because he got a lot of his test questions from there. I would definitely recommend his class to anyone

I've been attending FSU now and majoring in Psychology. I can honestly say that Professor Grisham laid down the groundwork for all the other courses. He has an extensive knowledge base and conveys that in such an interesting way in his lectures. I haven't found a teacher that has taught as well as him yet in Uni! Definitely take him.

If you want to learn, take his class. However, can be an extremely difficult because you have to memorize a lot of material for the application based exams. If you have other demanding courses, don't take this professor. Also, he is very strict and doesn't allow cell phones and gets annoyed when you come late or leave early.

Awesome teacher! He makes the material interesting and easy to remember. Listen to his lectures they will help you on exams. He provides exam reviews that will fully prepare you for the exam. He even includes some uplifting speeches about life.

I can honestly say he is one of the best professor Irsc has. I took him for human development and learned so much. Not boring at all , made class very interesting . Gives an awesome study guide and do the connect it really helps with grade.

He gives extra credit opportunity after the exam (group test) with a guaranteed 1-5% added on to your exam grade. He doesn't drop any exams because of this. SHOW UP TO LECTURE. Most of his questions are things he talked about in class. Online assignments were required as well. Would take again.

He was a wonderful teacher. Very interesting class and I was actually excited to come to his class. You'll definitely need to study but I loved this class and didn't mind at all. Just make flash cards or use quizlet (what I did). It'll help a ton.
