I loved Joe! He was the best teacher. I really enjoyed the class and he made it really enjoyable. the material was pretty hard but he really helped you through it. It really was a fun class.

This was the first class i ever took at Meramec and it was easy. I enjoyed going this class because he made the material fun. He's an easily approachable teacher and always willing to help.

Joe is a very nice guy, I took this as a web course and it is very easy. You cover one chapter per week with one homework assignment and a 20 question quiz, open book on both assignments of course. He is also a very helpful teacher if you need anything and is very understanding.

This was probably one of the best classes I took at Meramec. It was fun and really interesting. Joe was great. he had great energy and made the class interesting. The work load was not to bad. He told you pretty much everything you needed to know for the test. He even took notes for you. I loved the way he went over your test with you individually.

This was such an easy class he is an amazing professor. He helps you soooooooo much. Very laid back and nice. His tests are very clear and simple. His lectures are aimed for students who are learning not professors.

Science has always been a difficult subject for me, but Mr. Scneider really helped a lot and made it interesting. I took his class two semesters ago, but he is still my favorite instructor in college so far. I strongly recommend him.

Joe is an awesome teacher. His jokes are funny, and I enjoy the weather reports he gives every morning. We just took a Planet Test. He made studying our solar system fun and easy. Alright so I took the online Meteorology course and got an A in it. Make sure you read the summary at the end of the chapter he takes a lot of questions from there. As long as you keep up with your work, and do the homework you should be fine.

I took the online Intro to Meteorology course a year ago and really enjoy it. The course was challenging and interesting.

Fantastic teacher :D Notes are made easy by Joe posting notes on Blackboard that can be printed out. There are weekly quizzes which help you figure out what will be on the test. Joe also holds review days before a test which helps you prepare as well. Lecture is not boring at all because Joe connects with his students on a personal level.

Took him for meteorology and astronomy. It is amazing how much he knows! He is very nice and very helpful. He knows when the material is hard and is VERY willing to go over it as many times as necessary. He very rarely misses class, but understands when you do, just don't make it a habit! Tests can be hard, but you know what you are getting into

One of the best teachers that I've ever had. He notes are crystal clear and he points out what you will need to study for on the test. He's tangent stories are pretty funny too and he doesn't mind if you give him a hard time.

Joe is a tremendous instructor. He explains things you need to know for the test. No surprises on the test. Will review before each test. Tests are not that hard. Best science class I have ever taken.

You can tell he really has a passion for the subject and that shows in his teaching. I learned a lot but you have to study in order to get a good grade! He goes over what's going to be on the test and he makes sure you know what to expect.

I took the class online. The weekly assignments included an online test and questions to answer about the chapter. For the midterm and final, Mr. Schneider took those questions and picked from them to make the tests, which made studying a lot easier.

Professor is very nice and fun. Homework is light, each week you had 4-6 questions out of Chapter readings and an openbook quiz. Midterm and Final mostly from Quiz Questions. Homework was usually a Pass unless you totally goofed up but all answers were directly in the chapter readings (usually the key points). Great professor.I would recommend!!

This class was amazing. Most questions come from the notes but he pulls them from the reading at random, so read the chapters. He loves the topic and it shows. If you try you should do well, if you do the bare minimum, you'll get a grade as such. Great Speaking/Writing Intensive choice.

Joe is amazing! Very funny, incredibly knowledgeable and has a way of making the topic make sense. The tests can be a little hard, especially the first one, make sure to study the notes. This is not a class you can study for an hour before the test. But it is very interesting and entertaining! He tells you everything you need to know for the tests.

Easy online class. There are weekly quizzes that covered the material we were supposed to be studying. The finals and midterms followed the quizzes. Other than that those were the only main grades.

Joe cares a lot for his subject matter and for the students he teaches. He tries his best to make sure everyone understands and is willing to do what it takes to work with and help the student their through hard times out of class or understanding his lessons. I took an online Earth-Science class with Joe, he had reasonable and clear expectations! If you put in the work you will learn a lot and receive a good grade. Also, when I came in for my tests he was really nice and funny which honestly helped with my text anxiety. All my science courses will be taken with him!

I had a very rough semester and unfortunately missed some of the classes. Joe was very helpful in getting me caught up and kept on track with the other students. I felt as though he really does want to help his students learn and help them to pass the class.

Great teacher! His tests are pretty easy unless you struggle with math, but he's very fair with grading math problems on his tests (he grades on how you do the problem, if you get it wrong you can still get credit for the problem) I would most definitely take him again!

I absolutely loved Mr. Schneider's class! He was a very fair grader and he made the class fun with his witty sense of humor. He gave great lectures. His tests were not too hard as long as you listened during lectures and read through the power point packets.

This class is extremely easy online. Enough said.. I passed with a very high A and hardly opened the text book.

Joe is a cool guy. He can get on rants but it's worth hearing most of the time. He actually makes class enjoyable and not a complete drudge to come to. Take him if you can. I recommend taking this professor for Meteorology, Astronomy, Earth Science, or Physical Science. He teaches all subjects extremely well, but is a true Meteorologist. Joe is amazing. He teaches in a way that makes class fun. Gives you clear outline of everything for tests and makes sure that he covers everything so there's no surprises. There are "pop" quizzes but he gives you an implied notice the class before and they're only worth 5 points. This class was fun and I'm taking him again for meteorology.

I took the class online. Pretty cut and dry, read the material, do the work, take the quizzes. He always responds to emails in a timely fashion, and provides ample material to ensure you are able to ace the quizzes and tests. It was an easy class, but definitely not a blow off class. Overall, I had a great experience taking it.

Took this class online over the summer for transfer credit. Super easy class and what he asks of you is very basic -- easy A for sure. You will need the textbook in order to do the homework problems, but there are parallel problems that help immensely and the answers to everything can be found online. Would take Prof Schneider again.

I took this same class at St Charles Comm college and failed- I took it with Professor Schneider and got an A. As long as you put forth an effort and complete all the work you should be able to pull off an A pretty easily. He is not a tough grader and is a professor that understands he may not be the only class you're taking. Would take him again.

I took his class online over the summer for 6 weeks. We had to read 2 chapters, do 2 quizzes and answer simple homework questions weekly. Literally every quiz/midterm/final can be found online so I didn't even read the book. That's technically cheating BUT I got an A+ so who's complaining. Otherwise, he's a cool teacher and answers emails fast.

Prof Schneider is awesome! Very passionate about science and will do anything in his power to help you succeed. Tests are easy, just make sure you study. And DO NOT buy the textbook! I didn't touch it once. Its super expensive. If for some reason you do need it, then check it out in the library. Overall amazing professor!

Joe is very easy to work with. He cares about his students, and he cares about what he talks about. I had him both for meteorology and Intro to Astronomy. He is usually punctual. He has quizzes every week, but they're easy if you've been paying attention for the last week. Most underrated part: he always begins class with the forecast.

Prof Jo is very chill. Quizzes each week, but extra credit makes it possible for 8/5 on each quiz. Notes are online, and you can print them and bring them to class. He can be really funny and seems to care about students. You don't really need the textbook. He won't mark you absent if you contact him and tell him Good teacher, fun class!

Good guy, great teacher, enjoys his job, cares about his students, very fair, goes over and beyond to make sure students are successful. I enjoyed him as my professor. We had a great class. Hes the professor you definitely want on you schedule.

Joe is a blast to listen to. He always has fun anecdotes to add to the lecture. Just be sure to listen because sometimes he can move over important stuff really quick. Feel free to ask questions, he does his best to answer even the silliest of questions.

Joe has such a nice personality and he is super caring. He does everything to make sure you'll do fine in class. We never used the textbook besides the last 2 weeks of class(where we did the meteor, comets stuff) However, it is not really needed for the course. I felt like this class was too easy, you wouldn't even have to show up to class to pass.

His online class is literally just super easy quizzes and short, easy chapter review questions. He was really chill about an giving me an extra day when I accidentally messed up the due date for a quiz. If you can read and use google you'll get an A.

Joe is a great professor. I have him online during COVID-19. He is so caring and passionate about his job. He knows what he's talking about. He likes to get sidetracked and talk about life. The very few quizzes he gives are super easy. If you have him online you'll probably meet all his cats. Doppler, in particular, shows up a lot. haha.

Absolutely amazing and hilarious. My class was LVL and there were endless stories/him blaming his cats for his problems. If you dont mind 20 minute sidetrack tangents, then hes the professor for you. At the beginning of each class he gives us a 5 to 10 minute weather report. It was usually pretty accurate. Overall a great class.

Great guy, he truly loves what he teaches. Took him Spring 2021-22 school year. He can sidetrack a lot, but still is a great professor and gives an interesting approach to how he teaches/lectures. Exams were easy and all online. Few homework assignments here and there, and honestly if you just showed you tried he gave you credit. Take him!!!

You think this is going to be the hardest class in your schedule; it's the easiest class in your schedule. Don't be intimidated by the 4 hr. Wednesday class! If you have a genuine interest in learning about how weather works or are looking for a lab credit that is DIFFERENT and EXCITING, Joe is your man. He's the most sincere professor I've met.

Super easy online class, professor was really nice whenever I emailed him for help, clarification on something, or to submit homework. Everything is done on your own time, and the textbook is definitely unnecessary.

Joe is my favorite professor, he knows we want to be there just as much as he does, so he opened each session with updates about his cats, and a weather forecast. He was aware that we had other classes so he would try to schedule tests the week following heavy test weeks, and even mid-terms. I'm going to miss Joe's class

Joe is knowledgeable about meteorology and caring toward students. This class worked well with my schedule since the lab was on Wednesday and right after the lecture (the labs are not difficult). Take any class that Joe is teaching, he is the man.

This was an online LVL 12-week course. His lectures were very interesting, and he clearly enjoys talking about astronomy. He does announcements on Canvas quite frequently so be checking that to see what is upcoming. Overall he is such an enthusiastic professor and really cares about his students.

Amazing professor! The easiest class on my course-load by far. Went on his fair share of tangents on "Joe's Soapbox" but still made time to comfortably explain all material. Went above and beyond to work with the class on due dates and reviews to make sure we all felt ready for tests. Plenty of office hours and replied to emails quickly.

Really easy class. He puts in canvas you can't work ahead but I did. the class started in august for me and was supposed to end in December, but I was done with everything by October. He has 2 homework assignments, but he basically puts all the questions on a doc, you answer them submit before end of semester. He is a really fast grader.

He gives easy to understand lectures, and his quizzes, homework, and exams are all easy as well. Exams are usually open-book too. He gives tons of notes and resources to help study. This class is reading intensive but the answers to the open book quizes are easy to find. You can take as long as you want to do the quizes too. The online class is at your pace, so I personally got his quizes done within 2 weeks so I can focus on the other classes. He gives extra credit to boost you letter grade at the end of the semester.

He's an amazing teacher; very knowledgeable, funny and he clearly cares about his students and what he teaches. I found the class a little challenging because science isn't really my thing. Tests were online, except the last one. I'd say he's a generous grader, and also very forgiving when students forgot to take exams/quizzes.

One of those guys you will never forget for all the right reasons. Material is straight forward the only difficult part is some of the problems but he explains it very well. Other than that the course isn't designed to be super challenging, and he never makes anything unnecessarily difficult. Just a hilarious and great guy overall.
