One of the best professors at SCCC! Super interesting lectures, a research paper assigned at the start of the semester and due at the end of the semester, and multiple choice only tests/quizzes. Approachable, respected, and incredibly knowledgeable. Quizzes are 25 Q'S and right from his powerpoints. Midterm/Final is 80 Q's and mostly old quiz Q's.

He gives so many extra credit options. I got 100 on all my papers but the quizzes were a little tough, just gotta memorize the facts on the powerpoints. the textbook was nonessential, so dont waste your money, He speaks monotone and basically just reads off the slides but he still provides insight on very interesting topics.

I did not have a good time in his class. His quizzes were nothing from the notes he gives and is incredibly boring. I was looking forward to taking this class because of how interesting it seemed, but hes too monotone and his power-points were very messy.

Took honors abnormal psych. Very easy class, 4 quizzes that follow the notes exactly. Notes are available on his website. Midterm and final are combinations of the quizzes. One paper that is due in the middle of the semester, do not leave it to the last minute. Class was very interesting and prof was nice. If you study you will get a good grade.

For starters, I had to drop the class 1.5 weeks in. For my time there his lectures were engaging and he has clear intentions. The paper was due in 6 weeks form the start (a bit abrupt), which means reading is insanely (no pun) essential. Nice guy, too.

Professor Vollaro was extremely insightful! He is very knowledgeable and makes understanding Psychology super easy He also curves all of the tests. His tests are very in-depth, so if you're lost on a certain topic, just make sure to ask questions, email him, or to see him during his office hours and he'll make sure that you understand everything!

Professor Vollaro is a great professor! A few quizzes and maybe four discussion boards through the whole semester, so a pretty light work load. Quizzes are fairly easy as long as you study the PowerPoints well. He expects participation, but doesnt call anyone out. An overall easy class and great professor

Professor Vollaro was my favorite professor at Suffolk. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made learning easy. The case study paper was well outlined and he answers all questions on it in class, the knowledge of the case study helps you prepare for the tests. The quizzes were given online and the tests were in person.

I loved Prof Vollaro! He was always so interesting to listen to. He's very nice and personable, he knows his stuff, very experienced. He was great when it came to midterm and final prep as well. The midterm and final were challenging, but if you are in his class there's no chance you'll forget about it coming up, and he helps you review in class.

Professor Vollaro is a great professor! He provides a lot of useful information and the assignments are pretty easy to follow. Being online, he doesn't do recorded video lectures they are audios so it is hard to follow when he is discussing powerpoint but overall this was one of my favorite classes. Would definitely take again!

Professor Vollaro is great and has a good sense of humor, though he can be a bit monotone at times. His PowerPoints are extensive, making it a bit hard to study for exams. However, he offers a lot of extra credit, which is a big plus!

The best way I can describe this class was difficult. Not only was the material itself difficult but the review for the tests were extremely vague and you do a lot of your own research in this class. He is a nice guy however he does not give any exceptions for make up work. Overall not a bad professor but difficult class with bare minimum teaching.
