I went to this class very nervous about Biology, it is not my favorite subject, however this professor really takes the time to make sure everyone understands what he explains. He is very knowledgeable in his field, and very approachable. Super funny and great professor all around. Read the book and study and you will get an A!

I took this professor for A&P Lab and it was amazing, very interested in students progress. gives quizzes every week which helps a lot when you have to take the practicum. Take this professor, you won't regret it.

This is one of the best Professors I have had in science. His English is incredible for being here only 2 years and his approach to helping his students is amazing. He will do whatever he can to help you. Lots of extra credit etc.. but dont take him for a fool. He has zero tolerance for slackers, truancy and lateness.Take him , you will be grateful!

Amazing, didn't know could have so much fun learning! Good professor, extra credit, open book exams, concise pp, need to barely use book. Write good notes, study all ppt. Come early to class and stay till end. If you treat him with respect, he'll help you! 0-2 tolerance for nonsense, don't blame him. I highly recommend this class to those fitting

Dr. Collazo is a cultured, well-educated professional who should be commended for his dedication and patience in teaching those of us who truly appreciate being taught by a professor who really embraces the field. Those of you who choose to denigrate this man should be ashamed. Perhaps if you worked as hard as you complained, you might learn.

Omg!! I can't believe people can say this about Dr. Collazo. Its not an easy A you have to study like in any other class to get an A. That person that is talking sh... should just leave the class and get another Prof, MDC have plenty of Prof. You have to study if not Medical Field its NOT the best career for you!!

Neen a good TEAS score then take him, he is clear, and very helfull. Creates ways to simplify the material so that it will stick to your brain not to a screen! He does not show off in front of the students making the subject hard to undersstand,he is always trying really hard to put the material in a clear and simplified form in you head.Study too.

The negative comments had to come from SLACKERS, this professor ROCKS. Yes, he has an accent but he's goes out of his way to make sure everyone understands and get the material. I don't speak Spanish nor did I buy the book and YES I can proudly say that I successfully completed the course with an "A"

This class was awesome! I learned a lot and really enjoyed the lectures and liveliness of his class. You do need to study but don't be afraid to ask him questions even during tests he is very helpful. Definitely choose him for anatomy!

I think a lot of the negative comments from students this last semester where done early on the class. Students saw a change from what other students had posted such as powerpoints and extra credit and did not like this. Well let me tell you he helps you out A LOT! Trust me I work 72 hrs a week, have a one yr. old daughter and passed with an A.

very easy class but if your major involves biology i do not recommend his class. he reads off the pp's and does not do a great job at explaing the textbook as a good teacher does.

Dr. Collazo is brillant in the sciences. I was impressed with his clinical knowledge of anatomy and physiology. This class has much more information than anatomy 1. He expects you to learn and you earn your grade. I would recommend him. Thanks professor.

I am currently taking this professor for lecture and he is just great. Very knowledgeable and willing to help. His tests are not difficult, his quizzes are not that bad either. If you study, you will get your A. He is very flexible with students, will work with you if you miss a quiz. TAKE HIM. HE IS THE BEST!

He is super easy. You take four test during the semester, two are in-class exams and then the two other are take home. Plus, you have an extra credit test that will replace the lowest in-class exam grade. The book is not mandatory to buy, he's study guide question that he provides for the test, comes from the power point.

All I can say is he is AMAZING. He will definitely go over everything and make sure you understand him. My last day taking his class will be tomorrow and I'm sad about it! He's great!!! Take him!

Professor Collazo is one of the best professors at Miami Dade College. He explains things very thoroughly and goes out of his way to try to make you understand every subject. If I could, I would definitely take him again. He gives study guides before every test. If you take him, you will learn and pass with a high grade, but you have to study.

He is awesome I have him for lecture and lab he gives you review for the lectures and if you study you will pass.. he gives out extra credit and he is a great professor. He is very clear, you will learn, but then again you need to study. Im sad that he wont be teaching A&P 2. I will miss him .. he his awesome take him you wont regreat it.

Grade is based on 3 test give you study guide and extra points for attendance. Book not required. He cares about his students and wants you to pass. Take him he's great!

This proffessor is the best proffessor hands down at MDC . He truly cares about his students. His lectures are very clear as well as his power points. 3 Exam. Lets be realistic, If you don't study you won't get a good grade or pass Anatomy. But if you do your part, Prof. Collazo is the best choice to boost your GPA and learn at the same time. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He gives you power points and study guides. He also gives extra credits. I took lecture and lab, very good experience.

I'm currently taking him for Lab and it is because of him that I'm passing my lecture class (regretfully not taking it with him) my advise take him for both lecture and lab you won't regret it he is clear and VERY knowledgeable but don't forget this is anatomy lots of memorizing and reading regardless of the professor.

This professor really loves his job. He gives weekly quizzes for his lab, which are easy IF you study. Attendance is mandatory. Take this professor, you will get an easy A (if you study).

He is a great professor no what anyone says. He is tough, but for a good reason. He is tough because he is trying to prepare you for whatever career you choose. But he is helpful. And quickly replys to emails. But you as individual have to WANT it. So read and completely understand the material and you will be fine. Would take him again!!!

This professor is hands down the best professor I ever encountered at MDC. He is VERY knowledgeable and truly cares about his students. I would take him again if I could for BSC2086. But for those serious students that want to learn!! Take him. :)

Be ready to study. Weekly quiz at the beginning of every class. He motivates you to learn.

I would highly recommend this professor. I think his lectures are engaging and clear. If you pay attention to the lecture and devote at least 2 hours of study time per class attended, you should score perfect on the quizzes. Go to the open lab to prepare for the exams. He's always there after class to answer any questions.

Took Collazo for BSC2085L and I'm so glad I did. A lot of people like to complain about his weekly quizzes, but I'm glad he gives them because it forces you to study every week. He has powerpoints and tells you exactly what you need to study for every quiz/practicum. I learned A LOT more in lab than in lecture. I highly recommend taking his class.

I had to take this professor bc of my schedule and was terrified to attend to his class based on the bad reviews. He is a very good professor. He is very knowledgeable and explains very well, he's also a fair grader. Is only 3 tests, no HW and he gives you a Test Review that's extremely helpful. Take him, don't pay attention to the bad reviews.

I took him only for the lecture and he's a good professor, knows the subject and evaluates based on what he covered in class. He gives Power P. and a study guide for the exam. 3 test and no HW. He's not a hard proffesor but Anatomy is a hard subject. Study and you'll get a good grade. He's a very nice person, take him.

One of the best professors at MDC. He really knows what he is talking about and really helps you understand the concepts in a way that is not memorizing information. He is understanding and will listen to you when you have issues. If you get to know him, he is very nice and funny. You can tell that he likes what he does, so he teaches well

Anatomy was my absolute nightmare but after being in this professors class I was highly motivated and ready for the challenge. He explains the power-points and gives you bonus points towards exams if you explains his questions correctly. We need more teachers like this one. One that is willing to do his job and have fun while doing it!!!!!!

Professor Collazo is an amazing professor. He has so much knowledge and the way he teaches the students it makes you understand the content. He is not mean he is a happy person. Just don't be rude and talk in class , as any professor that is rude . He has really helped me at a time where I felt I wasn't going to make it in Nursing school. I passed

Super nice guy, gives really good lectures on the material and you'll be quizzed every week with what he goes over from the previous week. Put some solid study time about 1-2 hrs for each quiz. Go to the lab on campus to practice for practicums. He rewards hard workers. I got an 88 but because he saw how hard I worked he bumped me to the A.

Amazing teacher. He is the best !!!!

I had a rocky start but once I learned about the tutoring lab I started going and made only grades in the 90's from that point on. When I saw my final grade was an 89, 1 point shy of the A, I was heartbroken. When the grade posted online I saw he did award me the A. He is always helping hardworking students and is so caring.

Really good professor, he will always be by your side, as long as you give your part to the class. He is more than understanding and can make an exception if you can not attend to class. Exceptional personality and very easy going, there is no excuse to fail with him.

Very understanding and caring for his students. Lots of HW and but he eventually realized and reduced it. Quizzes and final weren't proctored (idk if that'll be the case in future for final) Lectures were great and he is very knowledgeable and makes anatomy easy to learn. 100% recommend

The professor is always willing to help everyone and genuinely wants us to learn the material. Be prepared to take a lot of notes it is A&P, after all but it's worth it. His personality is very down-to-earth, and I really appreciate that he works with us because he cares, not just to collect a paycheck.

He is very smart knows what he is saying the class is easy all the work is online. Work is a lot but super easy if you do it before hand since there's 3 months to do it other than that just focus pay attention to details but its super easy. Also no words can be exchanged in class its only him talking every class for the 12 weeks.
