Great class. ECO304 and FIN314 are pretty much the same class so whichever class you take 2nd will be easier. She's a post Keynesian and she'll let you know, but that's her only flaw. other than that she probably one of the better teachers i've had

Dr. LeClaire will make your life easy if you are a good student. If you are taking a class to get a good grade, this may be a good one. She appreciates people who enjoy economics as much as she does. It is all lectures, but she engages you will activities you will remember when test time comes. Really enjoyed the class.

I read the book, attend and pay attention in class, and take about 10 minutes to study the night before class and haven't gotten lower than a 92 on any of the tests. I've never seen a teacher get so much participation from a lecture hall--she's very passionate about economics and is a great teacher. This is one of my all time favorite classes

I enjoyed taking her class. Her lectures are through power points and can get pretty long. You have to pay attention and show up to really understand the information and get a good grade in her class. Her goofy personality makes the class enjoyable and often lets the class out early.

Amazing teacher and the class is very easy if you show up. The class is all tests, but the study guides she gives beforehand has all the answers, so you don't even need the book. She took attendance, but I don't think it counts against you, also gives out a chance for extra credit. Final exam is cumulative, but questions come from past exams.

I bought a $200 book and a $20 app & didn't use them at all! Don't buy them! It's a class where if you show up and pay attentiontake notes from the powerpoint you don't need to put in hardly any work outside of class. Her tests are composed of all topics discussed in class and nothing to do with the book. Tests are super easy if you go to class

Probably the best teacher ive had thus far at the college level. She was the reason i passed econometrics. Very helpful and easy to get along with. Also not bad looking which helps

4 tests is the only grade. She's so funny and full of herself, but she makes economics fun and light material. She has an accent, but totally understandable! Textbook is completely unnecessary. I opened it one time and didn't even find what i needed. Tests will be tough if you don't pay attention, or take notes in class.

Work is all tests which are a bit difficult but she will curve the grades if the class is struggling, just show up and listen to lectures or at the very least read the text book. She is funny and personable so lectures aren't a total bore.

She only a few tests but they're HARD. She gives you a study guide to help but the wording of the questions can be difficult on the actual test. Although tests were tough she gives a curve if the entire class didn't do too well. She made the class fun and I would like to have her again in the future.

Greatest teacher in the department and probably the whole campus. I do not believe she will be doing this class for awhile, pretty sure she is moving to Statistics, but if you are wondering about taking that with her, DO IT!! You would be crazy not to.

Lectures are straight forward and clear. Her power points are not available to the public so make sure you take notes in class. Pay attention to her lectures, study your notes and you will be fine.

Great class! She made macroeconomics interesting, and she's entertaining. Has a little bit of a French accent. You really don't need the bookeverything on the tests is in the lectures. Professor Leclaire is an amazing professor. She knows everything about Macro, because she was taught by the student of the founder. She does speak about her family, but still moves as planed. 4 test all your grade. Offers extra credits 5% of the full grade. She is really nice and humble as a person. She made statistics an easy A! Had her for 2 classes now, she says you need the textbook but I didn't open it the entire semester because everything on the test is in the lecture. She explains things nice and slow, reviews past material at beginning of each class. Tests are easy if you just study a little.

One of the best professor in buffalo state. Dont hesitate to take any class with here. 3 multiple choices exams and 1 final exams. For the final exam LITERALLY study from the previous 3 tests and you will exactly guarantee 80 percent in the final. and the rest 20 percent will be the new materials after the 3 exam. SHE MAKES EVERYTHING EASY!!!!!!!!

I would highly recommend this professor. She knows her economics and its a very interesting class. Even with the online learning she still managed to have great class discussions. For being an Economics professor, doesn't take herself too seriously. Relatable and accessible, even if the course material is challenging (not a bad thing in Econ). Attendance optional, no textbook usage. Tests can be difficult. Lectures have some humor and good pace. Would take again, but she only tends to teach lower-division courses.

Professor is simply amazing. I took her for Eco 201 and I will say that her class was highly enjoyable. Shes just so full of life. You basically show up and take notes and get tested 4 times during the entire semester. Yes 4 times! The test come directly from her PowerPoints so all you have to do is study and pass.

LOVED her, honestly. The class was super easy (there is math obvi), I loved her energy. I wish I didn't get the textbook though, it was kind of a waste of money since I haven't touched it once. If you are having trouble, she will go over anything you'd like. I really liked that about her :)

Fantastic professor. I took her again for the upcoming Fall semester (going out of my way to take her course over another professor even though it would be more convenient the other way) because she was so great the first time I took her. Sweet, fun, caring, uplifting. You'll never fall asleep or feel bored.

She encourage you to participate in class asking your opinion in different topics discussed in class, her presentation are really important for tests and she resume easily the books chapters in her presentation.

This class was essentially just taking notes from her lectures and using it to prepare for our tests which are clearly stated when they are. She's a super smart woman Its just important to prepare for the tests since there is no homework. Go to her extra credit opportunities because they are worth it and beneficial.

Professor Leclair is amazing! she provides and goes over study guides before each test, goes over the test once it is done, does have slideshows every class; she is very proud of herself and who she has become and has made it to where she can humbly brag, but in a funny way. Highly recommend!

This is only my first semester here, after transferring from a community college, and already I feel like she'll end up as one of my favorite professors. The math for the course isn't bad but you should definitely practice. The test are all multiple choice be sure to study test get tough. You get 5 labs which is an easy grade since we do it as all together.
