Great Professor! I had him 2 years ago & I log on this thing every semester so everyone knows who to take for A & P. Participate in class & put in some effort & you will be rewarded with an A. Makes not so interesting topics interesting and is an amateur comedian so class is fun.

What a great teacher! And he's hott- :-) This is a hard hard class. But a great teacher he trully cares about his students and if you put the effort he will try to help 2 the best of his ability. A lot of extra credit, all labs are take home and they count for your final grade, exams are directly from his lecture notes that you'll buy from Kinkos. He is the best. very easy to pass his class. VERY EASY if you study lecture notes. You don't even have to go to lectures. Just study the notes hardcore. Labs are tricky but easy if you study and remember them.

Love this professor. I had him for both A & P's. As long as you buy his notes and study you will make a good grade. All lec. examines come straight from his notes. All lab examines come straight from the lab reviews. Gives extra credit.

Worlds Best Professor! Great personality. Actually cares that you do well. Very helpful. Funny. Buy his notes at Kinkos. You will fail his first test (scare tactic I think) & do well on the following. Be sure to ask questions & tell jokes - the more you stand out the better your grade. Do all the extra credit, your effort will be greatly rewarded.

good good lecture!! u can buy his notes at the copy center! they help alot and are word for word what he says in class!! 4 tests and usually 2 take home tests also!! he will not let you fail if u ask questions and talk to him about what you are having trouble with... GREAT PROFESSOR

He's one of the greatest science teachers you will ever have. He covers fully and thourghly so you will get confused. Study notes, ask questions, and you'll do fine. His take homes are a bit challenging though.

Took his summer A & P II class. Simply said, this is one of the best teachers TCC has to offer, in every way possible. Very interesting teaching style, funny, helpful, gives extra credit, flexible,understanding,personable, friendly, etc etc. Do yourself a favor and take Dr. Adams, it will make your TCC experience that much better.

Dr. Adams is a GREAT teacher, one of the best. The first test was really hard and no one did too good but the tests after that were fairly easy, not really easy but if you read your notes and study a bit you'll do fine, he is extremely helpful!

Dr Adams, I tryed to give you a chilli pepper but can't figure out how. Ha Ha. Adams is the best!! He is not easy but he made learning fun. Lectures are great and his stories help a lot! You won't want to miss a single class as you will be missing out! :) Wonderful class!!!

Dr Adams is awesome. He was my first teacher at TCC and everyone else, I compare to him and perryman (microbiology). They are the best. Class is hard but having a good teacher makes all the difference. Lectures are extremely interesting and lab homework is not so bad. A lot of memorization. tests are alright if you study notes well. I took him for both lab n lecture in biol 1 and took him for only lecture in 2. He's really great. In lecu you have 3 take home test, 1 open book n 1 open brain test. 2 xcredit Always do your hw in lab cos it helps if you don't pass the test but if u do ur hw it heples n ur xcredit makes up 4 da tests

This teacher is the best A&P teacher!!! He is so funny, interesting, and generous. You can pass his class if you study and read your notes. THIS TEACHER IS AWESOME!!! I RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYBODY THAT WANTS TO TAKE AN A&P CLASS, BOTH I & II.

Good teacher..he gives take home tests and extra credit. He doesn't count off on misspelled words in his lab tests like other lame a & p professors at Tcc. Just as long as he can read it your fine. I find lecture to be more hard than lab but as long as you study you'll do good! Take him cause he is the best a & p teacher at Tcc!

Recommended! Extremely hard at first exam, but afterward he made it very easy. Happy to help you completely understand the subject. Good class for students that enjoy in-class discussions and don't mind going off-lecture to explore a topic. Textbook not required - he makes his lecture notes available in the copy center. I made an A.

I am in love with Dr. Adams. I took him for A&P 1&2 lab and got an A in both classes. He is warm and kind, helps you understand everything you learn. His tests aren't very easy but he gives extra credit. He always greets you with a smile and he tells little jokes. I will miss him.

I only had Dr Adams for A&P lab, but I would totally recommend taking his classes. He is knows the subject and is great at sharing his knowledge

Very nice guy. Truly cares about his students. Mostly everyone in my class failed the first test. His tests gradually got a little less difficult, but NEVER easy. He gave extra credit and a couple of take home tests, which helped out a lot. He was always very welcoming during office hours.

Dr. Adama was a great professor. I received an A in both Lab & Lec. If you come to class and study you will make an easy A. 3 of his test are take home. The final you can use your notes. Lab just show up and pay attention you will do wel. Get him quick he fills up really quickly. Bets AP teacher EVER!!! Highly recommend.

I love Dr. Adams! Took him for AP1&2! Best AP teacher he goes off of his class notes so I barely used my book unless I needed to see a visual of something. There are 4 in class tests and 2 take home tests ;D and the take home tests are easy 100's because you have notes, book, Internet to help you!! Take Adams! He gives a good solid foundation of AP Instead of overwhelming students with tons and tons of info, but still need to study study study it is ap but work hard go to class = A!!!

Great professor. Cares about his students a lot. My advice is to talk to him. He is always willing to help. Go to his SI and he will answer any questions. I learned so much from him. He has notes you can buy but I would get the book too. I found it best to read his notes than read the book for more detail.

Great Instructor...but he gets distracted w/questions or off topic and gets in a crunch & runs through the info. Took class during Summer break worst mistake. I pulled out an A studied on my own as other folks had a difficult time with the material. Book helpful but not required. Study Lec Notes and Lab manual. Some trick question on test. Study!!

the best teacher at TCC, if you had a hard teacher for A&P 1. Adams is like a walk in the park. He has 2 take home exams and "1" more the last test is open book. AND he gives extra credit. if you have in for lecture and lab. I guarantee you he will give you nothing less then a B. and thats not studying and not going to class.

Dr. Adams is by far the best teacher on TCC SouthEast campus. I took he's A&P 1 lab & lecture, in the summer 1 semester. And I'm glad I did!!! Dr. Adams is very helpful and want to ensure every student understand the material. If I could take Dr. Adams for all my science courses I would. He's just that Great!!! Took him for both API-II and loved him. Lecture test are hard! I never made an A on a lecture test that wasn't take home, but I killed lab practicals. Wait to buy the book. He has an amazing and cheap option that his take home tests come straight from.

Dr. Adams is the top notch professor you can get for A & P I & II! All of his characteristics as a person makes him the perfect Professor! He is hilarious with stories that exemplifies what he is trying to teach you. You have to work hard, pay attention, study, review his notes to make an A, not easy as you think, but he works with you.

Dr Adams is a Very clear, precise, and passionate prof who teaches with a smile. Never seems to get angry which tells you he is experienced in dealing with students. OKay, First off he is a great professor and his test are hard. 2nd, don't get to excited about the take home exams, you have to do a lot of reading and research for the answer. FUN PROFESSOR AND FUN CLASS HOWEVER HE IS A BIT DISORGANIZED. TESTS ARE HARD AND CONFUSING . YET THE CLASS WAS VERY EASY AND CLEAR ? HE IS A VERY NICE GUY AND VERY POLITE. YOU CAN TELL HE REALLY LOVES TEACHING BECAUSE HE IS GIVES THOROUGH DETAILED EXPLANATIONS . HE DID GIVE BONUS POINTS AND A BIT OF EXTRA CREDIT . YOU DEF WILL NEED THE BOOK.

By no means an easy class, this is college level anatomy.. HOWEVER, I loved his lab! Wish i had taken him for lecture too. Gives the best explanations so that you don't feel quite as inundated with information as you actually are. Nice man, can't wait to have him for A&P II.

Very sweet professor it is clear he loves teaching Anatomy. He is a bit disorganized but he muddles through. His notes he gives to the class covers everything you need to know. The tests can be very tricky though because he will word them in ways completely different from the notes. Take home tests are far more difficult than his in class exams.

Okay! I took him for A&PI and I just finished taking him for A&PII. AMAZING Professor! Test are hard! Study or you won't pass! Lab Practicals are easy. Gave 3 take home test and 3 in class Lec exam, 3 Lab exams. Final is the 3rd lecture test but open book. I passed with high B+ I could of made an A+ but with being a parent/work it was tough.

Brilliant professor and overall awesome dude. He sometimes gets sidetracked into off-topic conversations (especially if you have a moronic student that constantly asks stupid, non-related to lecture questions - you know who you are, Andrea). Otherwise, super sharp, explains well, exams are hard, you will learn a lot from this GREAT professor!!!

Awesome professor! Extremely knowledgeable, very student-focused, will help and guide you through the maze of A&P. His exams are extremely tough, so know your stuff, otherwise you won't do well at all. Don't miss class, and KNOW his notes. The book is a must. Details are key. Dr. Adams is one of the best professors I have ever had, if not the best! He explains the subject very well. I just completed Pathophysiology at UTA and I know if it wasnt for the learning experience Dr. Adams offered during A&P I would not have been able to make an A in Patho. I absolutely LOVED Professor Adams! I had him for A&P 1 & 2 during the summer for both lecture and lab. He kept class fun and entertaining. He LOVES what he teaches and wants you to love it as well. We had 6 lecture exams (3 in-class & 3 take-home) & 3 lab exams straight from the notes. I definitely recommend taking him! You WON'T regret it.

Oh gosh. I have mixed feelings. He's a great lecture teacher for sure, but boy, his tests are another story. Definitely take him for lab. Lecture is iffy. Most of the stuff on the tests we took in class weren't even discussed or barely covered. We're supposed to grab specific ideas from the 600+ textbook were supposed to read. Other than that....

BEST TEACHER I HAVE HAD DURING MY TCC YEARS. He loves his job and his examples for you to learn something has helped me so much. He motivated me to keep going and never give up. You NEED to study for lec. and labs. in order to pass. I took him for A&P 1 and 2, never regret it! You need to use your brain. If you're lazy then don't take it. Love him!

Dr. Adams is an outstanding professor! He really cares for his students and does as much as he can to help you out. He explains his material thoroughly and is not complicated at all! Tests are a bit confusing but after the first test, you get the idea of how his tests will be! So grateful to have taken him, highly recommend!

The class is made of 3 take home tests and 3 in-class tests. Have you ever taken a class in English but the test questions are in Chinese? Well, that's Mr. Adams for you! He basically stands and talks for the whole class w/o powerpoints or videos. I earned an A and the key is to memorize the notes and you can ace the test. The NoteThe Test.

His exams are.... super rough... but I can't blame him on that because it makes you have to sacrifice for ur study and it is worth that. I'm happy with my B and will take him again!!!

Great Professor, lecture seems easy but test are surprisingly tough. However he is willing to guide you in the right direction. Labs are kinda long but he accomplishes a lot of material through that time. Very nice professor.

You can definately tell that he cares greatly for his students. He will let you know when a test is upcoming and will tell you exactly what is on the test. He is very knowledgeable about his subject and is willing to share his knowledge to the greatest extent. Make sure you study for the tests though, they can be very difficult.

WHAT SHOULD I SAY ABOUT THIS PROFESSOR...!!! THERE IS NO WORD CAN DESCRIBE HIM BECAUSE DR. ADAMS IS ONE OF THE FEW BEST PROFESSORS AT TCC. HE TEACHES WELL, CARES ABOUT HIS STUDENTS , AND HE UNDERSTANDS VERY WELL. I KNOW TESTS ARE HARD BECAUSE THE SUBJECT IS ACTUALLY HARD, BUT DR. ADAMS IS AMAZING FOR SURE. TAKE HIM! Took him sum 1 and havent regreted it! Make sure to study the powerpoints & order the Tortora book helped alot! Lab is simple make sure to pay attention to what he says. Goes out of his way to help everyone understand A&P. GAVE US 35 POINTS FOR EC. (he does point system) 2 take home exams, 4 lecture exams (one was open BOOK!!) TAKE HIM!

10/10 reccomend. Make sure to pay attention. Lecture exams are somehow tricky but very straight forward if you study the PowerPoints. Also reccomend getting the Tortora book he suggests! As far as lab it's more straight forward but make sure to take notes on everything he says! Overall amazing instructor!! Very much worth the drive!

All I will say is he is awesome and he knows the material.

Had Adams for lab. We didnt do a single dissection or lab. He lectures the entire time from the lab book, homework is due every class. You do look at models at least. 3 multiple choice exams, hard exams w trick questions. Nice professor, but gets off topic. Gives extra credit & tries to review before tests, but again just gets off topic.

Dr. Adams is a nice and funny professor. He cares about his students for sure. His tests can be quite tricky, however, if you read the notes and your book, you should be okay. A&P is a difficult class so don't expect to make an A without studying. He gives us a few take home tests that do help out our grades and his final is not comprehensive.

Hes changed his teaching style, from what i heard his class used to be easy. 2 take home test and 3 in class test, the take home test arent worth as much as the in class test. He let us use a note card on the test, the class still failed. He doesnt teach from a power point he reads from PAPERS. If i knew what i know now i wouldn't have taken him.

Adams is a true blessing. Im not gonna lie his test are extremely hard. He teaches from papers so use your text book for clarity. Omg he gives so much extra credit, super understanding and really wants you to make it. I wouldnt take him again only because his in class test were so hard. You get 3 take home test and extra credit is negotiable

Had Adams for both A&P 1 and 2. He is a very knowledgable, personable, and fantastic professor! I already have a BS but Adams taught better than any other professor I had. I don't get why people are saying his tests are so hard when they're literally straight from his notes. As long as you study his notes, the tests are easy!

Professor Adams has been the most helpful and understanding professors that I have ever had. I truly struggled in this class, but he is more than willing to help you and gives you a second chance if needed. There are TAKE HOME TEST(S) and OPEN NOTE FINAL(S)!!!! If you are wanting to learn as well as be put to your limits this is the class for you!!

Fair professor. There are NO OPEN NOTE FINALS or TAKE HOME TESTS (so Im not sure why someone said that) He writes needed information on the white board and students copy them into our notebook. Get ready for your hand to hurt, you WILL be writing notes the entire class period. If you dont study youll regret it. Does not give out review sheets.

Dr. Adam was an amazing professor and he did offer lot of extra credit too. He is good at details on lecture. His tests was pretty hard but you must study harder this class.

Loved Adams as a person, but his tests were absolutely brutal. The lectures did not match up to the test AT ALL, and even with the tests being open text/open note, you could not get much help there either. Furthermore, he was very difficult to reach by email, even if you emailed multiple times. Would love to have a coffee with him though!

Dr. Adams wants you to succeed! He will take his time explaining everything with you until you fully understand. Exams are tuff but he goes over everything that will be on exams prior. KNOW THE MATERIAL & STUDY!! The questions on exams will make you think. He offered extra credit. Weekly Review Sheets are manageable but use the extra time to STUDY!

He is very good professor, I took him this summer and the fact he takes his time to review before his exams is awesome, His exams are fair, extra credit and he is also very considerate. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful professor, very animated and you can tell he's passionate about what he does. Exams are difficult, but doable as long as you study hard enough. Tends to give extra credit assignments as well.

Please do yourself the favor and TAKE THIS MAN! He is an amazing professor, he explains very well, he's funny. He's easy to talk to when you are having trouble with anything. He does the best he can to help you pass the class. This was my second attempt at APII and I wish I would have known about him the first time. He's truly a great professor!!

Listen,this is literately not my first time taking a&p,hard but he makes it easy. Lab are multiples choice which other prof do fillin the blanks which are very hard. He allows you to use your notes in finals, always very understanding in turning in hw late.He's like a father figure in a prof that care very much about his stu&making sure they pass.

Dr. Adams is one of the BEST professors at TCC. He is caring, understanding, funny, and gives clear instruction. I have never had a teacher that is so compassionate and actually cares to see their students pass. Do not hesitate to take him for A&P!!!!

Great professor! This was my second time taking a&p, by far the best class I have taken at tcc. He was extremely understandable, caring, and professional. He, not only made sure every one of us understood what was going on with a specific chapter we were covering, but also made sure everyone was successful in this class. I highly highly recommend!

I loved this professor! By far one of the best I have had at southeast. This was my first time taking anatomy and I was so nervous, but he did an excellent job with teaching. He offers extra credit and makes sure to cover everything on the exam and everything beyond. Could not have asked for a better professor. Take him, seriously!

He is a great professor and he's very dedicated to teaching his class the tools they need to succeed. He provides great feedback and analogies that are needed to make you apply them to real life scenarios. This comes in handy when you are given a question and you need to found out something. He will instill these learning values inside your brain.

I have him for summer 2 ap2 class and he was amazing. He took time to explain concepts that were important. He gave one extra credit opportunity. Lab exams were straightforward from review sheets and labs. Lecture exams were more tricky. But our class went over all the exam answers with him and he ended up curving all of the exams.

Dr. Adams is the kindest teacher you will ever have. He cares about your grade and will help you through all your assignments. Gives clear instructions and teaches material well. Tests are also fun and one might be open book!

Overall, Professor Adams was a great professor. He has a kind heart, warm personality and genuinely wants to help you succeed!He gets a little distracted sometimes but it is not a big issue. I would love to take him again if I could. Last couple tests were open note/book too!

Doctor Adams was a great professor and one of the best professor I've ever had in my college career so far. He was as good as it gets when it came to teaching and no one did it better then him. I took him in both AP1 and AP2 and would take him again If I figured out If he teaches something else.

Professor Adams is a caring instructor who wants you to succeed. His classes can be a bit unstructured, but open-book exams and helpful review sessions make up for it. unstuck ai proved a great study tool alongside the textbook.

A super caring, compassionate professor. He is very much lecture heavy, so be sure to attend them. He does provide a powerpoint of the lectures and what is discussed there will be on the exams. The "homework" are the labs; which are important for the lab exams. Lectures only consist of lecture exams. He wants his students to pass. Would take again.

Dr. Adams is the best professor I've taken. The notes were directly put into the exams & were posted on Canvas. Labs were easy, 3 exams, 12 review sheets and sometimes goes over the answers in class. If you study the lab manual and pay attention you should be able to get an A. He gives 1 extra credit for 25 points and one of the exams is open note.

I love Dr. Adams with his funny and quirky personality. His lectures and labs were informative. When the exams came, the questions were confusing. All were multiple choice, and you had to think outside the box before you input your answer. Ensure you are studying not just basic terms but the understanding part as well.

Kind guy! Had for lab. Rarely hands on activities/dissections, so learning experience takes a hit. Tests are harder than expected. DON'T rely too much on review sheets! Exams are multiple choice (1 short answer bonus at end) but very confusing & worded tricky if u don't have good understanding of material. Take photos of notes on the board!

Professor Adams is a such a compassionate instructor. He was always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. His lectures and lab exams challenged us to think critically, so reviewing the study guides thoroughly was essential. He occasionally offered extra credit. Overall he was fantastic and I highly recommend taking his class.

Dr. Adam's is a very nice and caring professor if you have any questions or concerns he is open to answering it as it will benefit your success in the class. This is anatomy and physiology so it won't be easy but as long as you study hard and listen to what he says to focus on you will do good! Don't be afraid to ask questions and study hard!
