Easy professor. It was a 2 hr class and once we stayed for 15 minutes and explained everything. Always comes late but we always leave early. Almost everyone received no less than a B+.

I had dropped out of college. Three years later I decided to go and take one business course. I took Appiah, and man, I later took Accounting, I wish he taught Accounting 102 as well. He's awesome.

He is alright, but only was teaching half of the required time. I wish our lectures were a little longer, so we could learn a little more. This Professor is one of the greatest professor in the world. He should defiantly get a huge award and trophy from Laguardia for being great and helping students alot. He's a laid-back professor. He tells you some interesting stories and cracks occasional jokes. He makes you do exercises in class (he goes over them in-class) and assigns all the concept questions on the back of each chapter as H/W. He's a lenient grader. He is super nice, but it's up to you to prevent yourself from becoming lazy.

His class is not that hard, but some students are still lazy and skip studying. Even if u dont study hard in class everyday, things r easy if u word hard on the review sheet/period. He gives us a lot of chances to make things up and still receive an A, after u do bad on the first test. Best of 2 out of 3 is picked :)

He is an easy going professor. He assigns homework throughout the semester. If you complete the homework, it will be helpful in passing the course. Everything he goes over for the exam review will be on the test, you will not be left in the dark. I received an A in this course. Therefore, an A is not impossible to receive. Just do the work.

If you already know Microsoft Word and Excel, this class will be a piece of cake. He's very patient and willing to help each student out. His lessons tend to last 10-20 minutes at most. If you need help after the lesson, he will help you. Otherwise, you can just go home. Tests are easy if you paid attention.

Hands down the most helpful professor Ive ever had. He will explain the material until it makes sense. He lets the class try different exercises and then explains them & sometimes the class works on them together. Most of the test questions are from class. If homework is done, you'll probably get an A. Need more help? go to his office hours.

Accounting is such a difficult subject but Professor Appiah made it as easy as possible! I was struggling throughout the semester and my attendance was poor but Professor Appiah understood my difficultly and all he wanted was my best. One of the best professors on LAGCC. He cares about his students. I would take him again but he doesn't teach BTA112. Gives extra credit assignment. If you didn't do good in your first test he wouldn't grade you about it. Gives a lot of home-works but those serve you to learn. It was an easy A for me. He motivates you and helps you a lot.

Great professor who is knowledgeable when it comes to Accounting, and he is amazing at teaching what he knows. Show up, pay attention, DO THE WILEYPLUS ASSIGNMENTS, and there shouldn't be a reason why you don't get an A. It's important to do the assignments as this class has only 3 exams, no papers or anything so practicing on your own is key.

This professor is so understanding and simply amazing! Read the chapters before the class and you will understand the lecture better. Wiley plus is your life! everything is there to help even the tests. if you need to speak to him its best to do it after the lectures because he isn't great in using tech.
