Dr.J explains the on-line class so that you know exactly what to expect. Very prompt in responding to inquiries. When he says drill, drill, drill , he's right on the money.

Mr. Armstrong was an excellant professor. He allowed alot of flexibility within the course but kept us on track with announcements. He is very accessible for help and encourages students to participate in discussion boards.

Had for both Human Anatomy I and II. Awesome teacher with great ability to relate to most all students. Very realistic expectations and grasp on course contents. You can't make this stuff easy, but he'll work as hard as you do to get what you want out of the course.

John Armstrong is one of the best instructers at Brevard Community College (B.C.C.). That may seem like a fairly common statement but remember that B.C.C. is ranked 24th out of all community colleges nationwide. The course is not easy and you will have to work for your grade but John is there to help your everystep.All I can say is "Thank you John"

I had this guy for A&P 1 and 2. He is an amazing teacher and probably one of the coolest guys I've ever met. He has a down to earth attitude and a fun teaching style. These classes are by no means easy but he goes above and beyond when it comes to helping out his students. If you're looking for a fair, kind teacher for A&P. This is the guy for you.

I have never flew through biology so easily until I took it with Mr. Armstrong. He is a very understanding teacher and nice guy. If you arent good in biology then you should take it with him. I took it online and it was pretty easy.

I highly recommend Mr. Armstrong. He is very calm, collective, enthusiastic, and passionate about teaching. He compares the material to everyday events or common knowledge which makes learning more fun and easy. Also, he doesn't put himself on a pedestool like some teachers. He is understanding and is with you all the way! And great sense of humor!

Mr. Armstrong without a doubt was one of my favorite teachers because he is an all around nice guy, friendly, and extremely helpful professor that I have ever had. It was actually fun to go to class because he always had a story to tell that went on through his week and taught in the same time frame. He made a lot of the info. very clear.

I took AP 2 hybrid. Mr. Armstrong is so laid back and nice, and he talks to you like an individual and not as a whole. He does alot of one on one help, and is always willing to help. Prof.A is an awesome teacher. would not recomend that you take anyone else for A&P as long as he is teaching it. all i really had to do was listen to his lectures and look over diagrams and models to acheive a grade of A. this ease is due completely to his superior teaching ablities and not to the course content which is really quite intense.

I took Fund. Of Biology online w/ this professor and he was great. It was WAY easier than I thought it would be. Words to the wise: save your practice quiz's bc the test questions come DIRECTLY from them. the Discussion Boards are always very interesting too and actually fun to do. Excellent professor. Uses thinkwell.com as the textbook for online classes, which is a great source. He is very flexible and the course layout is very clear. He responds to questions very quickly and is helpful and kind. I learned a lot in his class and enjoyed Biology. I highly recommend taking his classes.

For Anatomy and Physiology II you can't gpo wrong with Mr. Armstrong. He gives you every opportunity to get an A if you are motivated. His lectures are detailed but conveyed using real life examples and just the right amount of humor. His course isn't easy but if you want help he's there for you.

A&P is not a very easy class, but Mr. Armstrong is always there to help you fully understand without making you feel stupid for asking a question.

BEST EVER! I took him in '05. His teaching method really helped the material stick when it was built upon in nursing school. He is like your best friend teaching you a pretty tough course, which makes it a good learning environment. I still drop by to keep in touch.

A&P 2 is very hard. He simplifies this subject for his students. I enjoyed taking this class with him and I too, was sad when it ended. Anatomy 2. This teacher is great. The class was fun. This class does require you to study however prior to each test he reviews what will be on test. Also removed 2 of the lowest quiz grades. All tests and quizes are multiple choice, lab quizes are mulitple choice but you still must study. You must take this teacher if you want an A or B.

I took him for online Intro to Biology class. We used Thinkwell.com and online lab through Angel. His test material was CRYSTAL clear. He only pulled test questions from Thinkwell exercises, so I made lots of computer based flashcards for the tests and got all As. 2 proctored tests. The lab quizzes you get two tries. There is no teacher I'd rather have than Mr. Armstrong. He's a Jimmy Buffet-type dude with huge teaching experience and patience like you wouldn't believe. Very knowledgeable and spices up the class with anecdotes. Numero Uno!

Loved this class. Prof Armstrong was great. I love the discussion questions the most as they make you think. He was very knowledgeable and always got back to you real quick. It is a quite a bit of work but it was a great class and you get to work at your own pace, and all the tests questions come from the study tests.

Mr. Armstrong is by far the best teacher at Eastern Florida. His class is difficult, but that is expected for this type of class. So long as you study, you will do great on the tests. He gives you everything you need for the tests, and even does a verbal review after each section (recording that was very helpful). I loved him!

This class was great to take as a filler online. All work was online videos followed by quizes. Print off the notes and quizes and study those for your tests and you have an A all the way.

Greatest teacher ever! Subject is tough but he explains it clearly. You will still be required to studied and earn that A but he tells you exactly what you need to know to get the A. He cares about your success. Hint:voice record the test overview, this really helps.

Mr. Armstrong is the most human teacher of all time. He genuinely cares personally about every student. We had a hurricane situation and he altered the class to make sure we could handle both. He personally messages every student to congratulate or inspire them after every unit. He is beyond kind/caring/helpful. He wants you to do well.

Mr. Armstrong is a great professor and very laid back. Often he is funny and cracking jokes with the class. He references his personal life in situations when lecturing a lot. This helps me retain the information better because I can directly correlate it into real life. He gives plenty of lab time and test breakdowns. I would recommend him.

He tells you every time - DRILL THE THINKWELL EXERCISES!!! Just do the review of the thinkwell exercises and upload them to quizlet (or search). It is all broken down into 4 Units. Each unit is a test &amp; 2 discussions. Discussions were interesting; just get those out of the way in the beginning of each unit. Only 1 proctored test.
