FANTASTIC experience. My heart opened to teaching. Class felt more like a good family/emotional therapy session than a classroom: the lectures were engaging conversations, the tests were fun games, the time flew, and we were all sad for the end of the term. We all cried in class! (Safely and in a good way.) John is once-in-a-lifetime PHENOMENAL.

Dr. John definitely makes you think, sometimes to the point of discomfort, but always with purpose and respect. The goal is for us to accept all kids in our classes when we teach. And it works. Attendance and participation is 20% of your grade, so show up and participate in class discussions. Do your assignments at least a B, put in more effortA!

Honestly the best professor I think I will ever have. The class itself is very informative and you really will learn so much that you will use for the rest of your life. he co-teaches with Linda (his wife) and they bounce off each other and work extremely well. My only thing would be that the class is mainly lectures with a few activities. That doesn't mean the lectures were boring, they were very interesting and engaging, but the videos got tiresome at times.
