Good Sense of Humor!
Very loud to get your attention! Weird think piece, but interesting.
interesting class...does funny impressions, could work on voice pitch though

Camobreco is the best professor I have.

Nice guy, easy class
Study and do your work and you have an A in the class...he knows what hes doin...teaching style is awkward (pacing, ephasizing points a million times over) but hes still cool...i would take him again...
Not terribly interesting, but if you show up you will get a good grade.
definately take govt from this professor... he makes class interesting and is a nice guy... pretty slack workload
Goes over the same thing over and over again. Very nice guy and willing to work with you and help you. Attend class and DEFINITELY do the readings and you'll do fine.
Great professor. Tells corny jokes but it's cute. Not a hard workload--not a boring class. I am taking him again next semester.
easy class, good teacher, definetly take him, and the tests are sooo easy
he's easy, and so are his tests. boring lectures unless you get involved, and when you ask questions he's a little too indecisive about answers. you'll still get an A though, and learn your stuff.
Tests got easier as semester went along. Go to class and you'll do fine. He covers what's on the test in class.
Really nice. Makes the class very interesting. The class is easy, but it does require some studying.
Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic!
Awesome prof!
Tests are all out of the book, but they aren't that hard at all. Very nice to talk to and has the students best needs first. Trying to take another class by him
Camobreco is great. Interesting lectures, knows what he's talking about, and gets excited about subject material. Clear. Tests are straight from lecture.

Dr. Camobreco is so smart! The last comment is plain ridiculous. It's your loss if you can't tell a great professor from a bad network.
I loved Camobreco's class. He is so enthusiastic about what he teaches and he loves student involvement. As long as you keep up with the reading (which isn't hard!) the class is a breeze. His tests are straight from his lectures and are usually essays.
Real nice guy and I got to go on a trip to the "Spiritual Buffet." I like him he is a good and funny teacher. 3 test, m.c and 2 short answers. Mess up on one do well on the others, not hard if u study though. No attendenc but 6 pop quizes = 1 ex
Either go to class OR read the book and you'll do fine. Repeats the same thing over and over and then class is done.
Loved his little jokes and the "spiritual buffet" is a true honor. He's fun to make fun of too... with his overemphasis on certain words...Study for the tests, and make sure you read, he likes students who talk in class and discuss relevant topics.
Dr. Camobreco is great. He's somewhat of a tough grader on tests, but he's a great professor overall. Study your notes.
He grades pretty hard on tests. Overall though he presents the information in away that you can understand it. It's basically common sense of the Executive branch with a little more in depth information. Very interesting class.
Camobreco is an awesome teacher. His tests are fairly tough, but his class is so interesting. He is so nice and his lectures arent boring at all. This is one of my favorite classes. And the spiritual buffet is pretty cute!!
SOOO awesome! Very intresting and such a nice man. Love his corney humor!
I don't know what class these others were in but mine was SO BORING. He's a REALLY nice man, very helpful but I found him very boring and not clear. The tests are hard for an intro class.
He does a pretty good job teaching the class...you must go to class though or read the book thourougly but I suggest going to class. His tests are pretty easy if you do. It's a comm. intensive course though so if you don't wanna speak in front of a group then don't take this cause you have to debate
Dr. Camobreco is a great professor. Attendance is a must. If you come to class and take notes, you will be set. Tests are difficult if you neglect coming to class. He is extremely helpful & always willing to listen to your ideas and thoughts. If you say something in class that he really likes, you get a trip to the "spiritual buffet".I reccomend him!
Dr C is probably my favorite teacher I've had ever, period. His lectures keep you involved and excited, and his tests are relatively easy. Take the time to get to know him outside of class, he's an awesome man. He even likes Colbert! Highly recommended!
The class itself was not TOO hard, but you do have to show up and take good notes. Additionally, it's a boring class if you're not interested in government. Overall, it could have been worse.
Like him alot personally, but as a teacher, he stinks! Does not explain everything and walks around the class room in circles~very distracting! I have taken him for 2 classes and will avoid taking another class with him at all cost! Hard grader and not open minded politically at all.
This was my second class with Dr. C and he still remains one of my favorite teachers at CNU. Just like GOVT 101, you don't really need to read but really just come to class and take notes on what he says to get an easy A. Cleric papers are interesting too. Wouldn't recommend the course as much as recommend him, though.
Nice guy, interesting class, but he teaches INTRO govt like its a 300 level class. maybe b/c this is his first timme teaching an 80-student class, but his tests are worded very tricky and it feels like hes trying to trip you up sometimes. overcompensating so it wont be too easy i guess. i'll probably wind up taking him again tho. engaging lectures.
Dr. C is a nice enough guy, but this class was just ridiculous. He taught directly from the book, and attendance def was not mandatory. He is blatently liberal, which I dont have a problem with, but he wasnt up front about it. No matter what he says, the New York Times is biased! He even took off points for organization on a blue book test. Absurd.
Dr. C is a really great professor. He knows a great deal about American Government. If you go to class, take notes, and study well, you will get a good grade. I'm definitely going to take more classes with him.
This guy was a really nice guy. He was so goofy but it made class interesting at times. It wasnt hard as long as you paid attention to his main points in class and you remember your high school government class. Good class though
Seriously the most boring class I have ever taken. His voice is super annoying and it is completely unnecessary to pay attention or take notes because everything is from the textbook. I am sitting in the class right now and I truly want to kill myself. Seriously, avoid him at all costs.
You never have to open a textbook in this class. Just pay attention to what he says in class and write down evrything he writes on the board and you will do just fine. He gives pop quizes on random days so attendence is mandatory, especially if you don't want to read the book.
He knows what he's talking about, and he explains everything extremely well in class. You don't need to use the textbook, being that he talks about it in class. There are 6 pop quizzes, only five of which count towards your grade. He's open to listening to arguments for including a second right answer on certain questions, so think about them!
Camobreco is the man! Funny, goes on tangents, uses metaphors for everything. Don't need the textbook, but don't ever miss class and remember to take copious notes. Tests are mostly writing, but he also has easy assignments throughout the semester. Take him. One of my favorite profs at CNU.
Very easy class, he made it very fun as well. Great entry level class
Dr. C is a very entertaining guy. He makes class not boring which is a breath of fresh air in the government department. The class was relatively easy, only down side being that you have 3 grades in the class: midterm, final, and a synopsis.
This class is an embarrassment to the institiuion. He knew absolutely nothing about american religion and clearly got the majority of his insight from a PBS special. Had him for another course and he was just as boring in that class as well. The Presidency with him is not too bad but he is a difficult grader.
I LOVE Dr. C. He has an odd sense of humor and way of talking that keeps his lectures interesting, he's very approachable, and he's very straightforward on what he expects out of tests and assignments. I would take him for every government class if I could. Definitely my favorite government professor that I've had at CNU.
Do not expect to learn anything in this class. In fact, he was oftentimes blatantly wrong. Also, when anyone disagreed with his "theories" he was incredibly defensive.
His religion and politics class is very interesting, but he expects to work for your grade just an any professor expects. Very nice man.
He is by far one of the funniest and most sarcastic professors that I've ever had. He'll tell you exactly what he wants up front for every assignment, so you have no excuses for not getting it done on time. If you're struggling with class he'll definitely help, but if you slack off he'll know you're doing that and will give you no wiggle room.
I do not regret in the slightest taking my senior seminar government class with him. His feedback on my paper was crystal-clear and helped shape my arguments to make them stronger, and his deadlines were very specific. You'll discuss your papers a lot in class, but pay attention to the comments he specifically makes because that'll help a lot.
His lectures were so boring. He doesn't take attendance. It was an okay class.
Did not enjoy his class, humor, and how big of a waste of time his class was. He does not teach, he rambles all class then tests you on everything in your texts. Would not take him again, regret wasting my senior year govt class and credits on him is not worth it.
There are only 3 tests throughout the entire course, one of them being the final. He has occasional 10 question quizzes between tests, so you really need to study for the exams. He does a good job of trying to make the class interesting and relatable. I would take him again!
Great Professor! Makes his classes interesting and enjoyable. Has a real passion for his subject and his students. Had "pop" quizzes but he would basically tell you when it was. 10/10 would take his class again
Dr. Camobreco's lectures are fairly boring and does not take attendance. He does refer to the text during class but the test are based on his lectures and what he goes over. So take good notes. There are no quizzes or outline/study guide for exams. The text is used for a paper and debate at the end of the semester
This class is really just boring so it's hard to stay motivated but if you just need the credit then it's one of the better options. Dr. Camobreco is incredibly nice and understanding and will offer extra credit if you ask for it. Lectures are lengthy and boring but it just comes with the subject.
Camobreco was super nice just the only thing was he took forever to get through a sentence and get through the material. He would go off on random tangents about things where I would be lost in the material. His tests were super easy though and the class was easy to get a good grade in.
This course seems like it should be an Easy A, but there were only 3 or 4 grades counted at the end of the semester and it was all just tests/quizzes. Get ready to write during class, because he goes through a lot of slides in a short amount of time. No opportunities for extra credit. Overall he is a very nice man, but class structure is a bit odd.
Took forever to get through his sentences and through lectures. Lectures/powerpoints wont be online, you have to come to class. The first test will be hard, but if youre interested in Poli Sci it will be easy. Class was hard for me because I dont have interest in politics.
Dr. Camobreco was great! If you listen to his lectures and take notes you will definitely pass this class. I just really enjoyed his enthusiasm and he was never bias which is hard to do in a political class.
Taught straight off the PowerPoints, and didn't move too quickly either, so you have time to take notes. His standards are nothing too reachable, especially with the debates. If you do what he says, you'll be good. Tests are pretty straight forward. Study ALL your notes and you'll be covered.
Dr. Camobreco is an outstanding political science professor at CNU. He explains the material very clearly and is a an amazing lecturer. He made the course very enjoyable. Tests and quizzes were very fair and manageable. He cares about the students and will help them become successful in class. I would love to have another class with him again.
reads straight off of the powerpoint for lectures that always go the full 75 minutes. Exams are all short answer and gives you no help to what will be on exams. Insanely tough grader who gives you no reason to why it was wrong. You only get like 5 total grades for this class and both exams are 30%. Save yourself the time and stress. don't take him
Reads nothing but powerpoints, in which they are written in paragraph style, rather than concise bullet points. The textbook doesn't use key terms, which makes it hard to supplement lectures. There are two exams which consist of a total of 60% towards your final grade, with only two other assignments, both worth 15%. Take another professor.
He is an awesome professor and the material is not difficult. As long as you study for the exams you'll be fine. The lectures can be boring at times but overall a really good class and professor.
Pretty easy material, and he is funny and his inflection makes it interesting. I personally loved this class, but a common complaint is that he does just lecture for the whole period. He is very nice though, and the work is pretty easy: one paper presentation, a fun final (not a regular exam), and two exams.
I would definitely recommend taking Dr. Camobreco for POLS 101. There is no homework, but you are only graded on quizzes, tests, and one short essay at the end of the year. His PowerPoints are extremely long and they are not posted online, so show up to class and take pictures of the slides if you need to. Reading the textbook is not necessary.
Camobreco is fantastic and gives the class a great educational tone with a charismatic teacher. He has this really cool inflection in his voice that makes it really interesting to listen to lectures, and clearly has a lot of passion for political science. Class is devoid of political bias and filled with easy tests and quizzes; this is a must-take.
His lectures are good and in depth, with a fun tone. He talks fast, though, so be prepared for that. There are no assignments, only tests and quizzes, and I didn't touch the book the whole time and was fine.
Dr. C taught me so much in POLS 101. There are a lot of notes and the tests are very heavy so make sure to study in advance. But I learned a lot in this class and I don't enjoy this topic so it was good.
Dr. Camobreco's lectures were clear and concise and the questions on the quizzes/tests come straight from the notes. Attendance is not mandatory; however, he does tend to go very fast through the PowerPoint slides and he also does not post them on scholar. This is an easy course to take to fulfill for AIDE, I definitely recommend this class!
His lectures are very clear and interesting, and quiz/exam content comes directly from the slides. Attendance isn't mandatory, but slides aren't posted online so attendance is beneficial (he clearly hints at quiz/exam content during class as well). Grade is based on 5 quizzes, 3 exams, and a short essay. Would definitely recommend
Dr. Camobreco is a great professor. He definetely knows what he is talking about and cares about what he is teaching. The only downside is that he does not post his slideshows online. Therefore, if you do end up missing class you miss a lot. Also, your grade relies heavely on how well you do on the tests and quizes. there are 6 quizzes and 3 tests
Dr. C is just funny. He is a classic professor who uses plain black and white powerpoint slides to go along with this lectures. He cracks jokes a lot, he grades off of just a few things, and the readings are not really necessary. He wants you to do them but I personally almost never do. Highly recommend Dr. C for 101, 320, or any POLS course.
I love Dr. C, he is my favorite professor at CNU. He is hilarious and a great lecturer. He asks test questions that are word for word from the lectures. He keeps it simple and gives clear instructions for assignments (and examples). I highly recommend Dr. C for any class, especially this one.
I did not enjoy Dr. C's class whatsoever, the main part was because the class is around 100 people. His tests and quizzes do not reflect his lectures or the textbook, and he does not respond to emails. I ended up having to drop his class.
Dr. Camobreco is very kind and passionate about what he teaches. Tests are difficult, but as long as you go through the notes, you will pass. He does not take attendance, but he also does not post the notes (so if you're going to miss class, get the notes from someone!) I highly recommend Dr. C!
I love Dr. C. You are graded by a paper, the midterm, a debate, and final. The exams are exactly what he puts on his slides. He's super easy to talk with and honestly cares about you. He's super chill and doesn't stress you out like other professors. The amount of reading in this class is a lot less than other classes, he's not a super hard grader.
I love Dr. C your grade is based on 6 quizzes, 3 exams, and a short 2 paragraph essay! I did buy the book, but I honestly didn't use it. Attendance isn't mandatory but he doesn't post his slides, and it's a lot of info on these slides. Your lowest quiz grade will be dropped if you take all 6 quizzes. I overall would recommend!
I love Dr. C, but this class is annoying. You write a 20 page paper, which seems like “cool I can do that in a semester”. Welp, you don't get your outline back until like 2 weeks before the paper is due. His grading didn't really make sense to me. You also have to meet with him the next semester to ask about your paper grade if you have questions.
hes a really nice guy it was honestly just the fact that it was a lecture hall and he doesn't post the slides. he'll either stay on a slide for forever and just ramble or he will go through it so fast you can't copy it. his exams were also super hard. not a bad guy just a super boring class and annoying quizzes once a week or two
Dr. Camobreco is overall a good professor, and he explains things well. However, he doesn't post the slides — making it much harder to adequately review for quizzes and exams. You'll have to rely on your notes. He's also pretty funny and genuinely a nice guy.
