Fantastic Prof
No Comments
He is so helpful. Will always make time for his students.
Knows how to teach and is a nice guy
He is very nice
Helpfull. Goes the extra mile. Exams cover what he teaches. Great Prof
Makes a hard class easy. Extremely nice and easy to talk to.
Wonderful prof. Only class that I enjoyed that semester. Very nice guy.
I learned very well from him... I enjoyed class and even didn't mind studying!
Very Helpful and always concerned for student's success!
#1 Prof. @ GVSU!!! Always happy and smiling. This guy loves his job!
I love this man. He is the nicest guy. I recommend him 100%!
This is not a easy course. But he will help till you understand He's great
Very nice man, always smiling. Pretty good and easy professor. Isnt always the most confident person though. Lots of chances for extra credit.
Dr. Capodilupo loves his job and it shows!
Great prof, I took the online course, it was all self study but he gives a syllabus to follow, he's very helpful,it's obvious he loves to teach.
This guys loves to talk but he also loves to help students. He was a pretty good professor.
The nicest professor on campus. Always in a good mood!! Very helpful and truely wants students to learn. Take this professor, he is awesome!
Great class, great guy!
Very upbeat, smiling, and helpful. His approach to capstone, (research project of your choice, paper, presentation) was effective in accomplishing what a capstone is all about--capping off YOUR undergrad career with something pertiant to you!
Approached topics with enthusiasim and knew his stuff. Tests were straight forward and pretty easy if you knew the material. He was very concerned with student learning and was very nice. Great professor!
really helpful; super nice guy
He tries very hard to make the topic interesting, but it already is to those of us going into the healthcare field...difficult to pay attention in lecture...tries very hard to be funny...be prepared to teach yourself...and reading the text is a huge help.
Very helpful in making you learn instead of memorizing. Goes at a steady pace and allows for small extra credit to keep your grade up.
VERY good prof; very straight forward and breaks everything down so its easier to understand. Very willing to help, and little extra credit points here and there up keep your grade up. High reccommended; as long as you study and do the objectives, you will do fine
His class was very straightforward and interesting. He told us exactly what we needed to know and was always available for questions. One of GV's best. I highly recommend him.
He is the best anatomy teacher! He even tries to make class funny by little comments! His exams are difficult, but I heard they are easier than other teachers'. Don't change if you have him!
boring as hell, but nice enough and his exams were pretty easy. gave extra credit... if you have him, dont switch
Will NOT round. If u have a 79.99,u must have a B-(80.00)to take HS 309, forget it. gives Xtra crdit %tage points, not measly test points helps tremendously. I barely passed U dont need to know details that other profs want u 2 know. but dont switch out of him b/c he is the easiest HS prof. Trust me
Good Prof. Very nice, easy to approach. He tells stupid jokes and boring anecdotes, but pay attention to them, they help you remember something that you'll need to know later. Would recommend highly. Hope to take another class with him.
Nice guy. If you study you'll be fine.
Dr. Capodilupo is so friendly and really loves what he does.He really wants his students to succeed.
A very nice prof, although this class got off to a bumpy start b/c we had no idea what the objectives were. This caused a mass exodus once the first exam was graded (only two). Be prepared for lots & lots of memorizing.
Excellent professor! Very willing to help if needed. This is my second time having him as a prof and I liked him both times.
Capodilupo is a very intelligent guy. I have had him for multiple classes and liked him until 310. His (310) lectures are sometimes hard to follow because he goes off on tangents and they are very boring!
Professor Capodilupo is a very nice and friendly man. Be prepared to do a lot of work for this class. There are 4 extra credit points per exam. You need to take good notes and READ the related material in the book. The questions he pulls from the book make the difference between an A or B.
Great Prof. Helpful and fair but you HAVE to study! No trick questions!!
Grea Helpful all the time. A pleasure to work with
This is a fairly easy class, if you know his outlines front to back(A lot of studying). Tests are very fair and cover everything he covers in class. He is a wonderful prof, very clear and helpful..willing to meet whenever. He is a great guy, and always has good applications to the material and stories of his own. I would highly recommend him.
The class sucks on so many levels. It's for Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant grad students but is not applicable to our fields or well integrated into our other classes as well. WAY too much info for one credit. Needs a lab and discussion to help the info absorb. Learning structures without 3D models is too hard. He taught it okay...
This was his first time teaching this class, so he kind of learned with us which wasn't always the easiest. You can tell he loved teaching 309 though. He is always super excited to help you whether it is in class or in his office. Great Professor.
awsome guy, if you need to pass anatomy with a good grade and are willing to put in the effort, this if your man, there are no secrets, he gives you what to study, tells you what he expects you to know. Pulled off an A- with moderate effort, very very intelligent, funny, and considerate man!
This class is really hard, but Cap is great. He was very helpful in finding the parts of the cadaver that we needed to study. He did spend a lot of time lecturing to us, though.
He is one of, if not THE BEST prof I have had at GV. He makes pathophys easy to understand and does a great job applying it to things students will understand. Take him if you can!!!
very good prof. Tells you exactly what to study for the exams. Hard class though, if you don't have enough time to put in the effort to study a LOT, then don't take this class!
This is one tough class and a tremendous amount of work for 3 credits!! Professor explains concepts in ways students can grasp them. Very passionate about this subject and willing to help students. Tests are very challenging, but practical.
The class is very difficult, and their is so much material that will be covered over the semester. It is important to keep up on the objectives he gives, and to ask questions. Prof. is very helpful and clear in explaining in his lectures
He's a really good professor. He takes his time and his exams are fair. He's always willing to help if needed and is also very approachable.
Capodilupo is awesome! His exams are straightforward as long as you study! Keep up on the material and you will do fine. Very interesting class!
You'll be lucky to have him as a prof. Very clear - knows his stuff.
Dr. Capodillupo is an amazing professor. Anyone who is planning a career in health will benefit greatly from him.
Great teacher... hard subject... sets the standard for what a prof. should be!!
A boring class, but attending lectures are a must. Al of his exam questions are from lectures, and he is pretty straight forward. You have to study like mad (use flashcards), but a little effort goes a long way.
Dr. Cappy!!! He's a great prof, TAKE HIM!!! :D
had him for BMS 310. a great teacher-they should all be like him! will put in extra time with you if needed. very strong recomendation!
Took Dr. C online and shouldnt have. I did ok but could have done better in a lecture setting. Dr. C was always very helpful in the online setting. Nice guy, take him if you can.
Dr. Capodilupo is an amazing professor. He loves teaching this subject which makes the class so much fun! Take his class if you can
Great professor, very nice, will explain things if you dont understand them! I learned a lot from this class!
Great teacher and great class. Only two exams, so if you tank one, you are screwed. If you are thinking about taking it, do it.
I absolutely loved Dr. C! He was very helpful and clear. His exams dont try to trick you. As long as you know the lecture material you are golden! Take him!
Gotta love this man! Really knows his anatomy and gives great stories and quirky ways to remember things. Exams weren't too difficult, just study the note pack and go to class and you should do fine.
I really enjoyed having Professor Capodilupo. He's such a nice guy, always smiling. If you study the note pack that you buy from the bookstore you will do just fine. I bought the book but didn't crack it open once.
Really enjoyed his class! Really laid back guy, super nice, always smiling. Just buy the lecture note pack and attend lecture and you'll be fine. Book helps in clarifying some things in the lecture pack and for labeling diagrams. Exams were all multiple choice. Good prof overall, explained things clearly. Would recommend! =D
Best class I have ever taken best Prof. I have ever had. Really cares about his students, and wants you to do well. Class is a blast, orderly, and respectful. Exams follow his lectures, no surprises. Exams are not a walk in the park, you either know it, or you don't,but if you attend all the lectures, and study, you should do fine.
One of my favorite anatomy teachers ever. His presentations are useful and informative and he keeps you in the loop with his note booklet that you buy for the class. Extremely clear teaching format and will answer your questions.
This class is all about memorizing and he tells you EXACTLY what you need to know for the test. I loved having him as my anatomy teacher, he was super helpful and nice.
Interesting subject that was taught well. Extra credit for each exam, final wasn't cumulative, gives students everything they need to know for exams.
He is the best there is. Other professors should go and sit in his class to see how the teaching should be done. He tells you everything you need to know for the exam, so if you want to do the work, you'll be more than fine. He is so smart and really knows how to teach. He is always in good mood, very approachable and helpfull.
I was very pleased with his teaching style for pathophys. He managed to keep it very interesting and is extremely approachable with any questions. Grades are determined based on 4 multiple choice exams, each of which have up to 5% extra credit added to them! He's very straight forward and clearly loves his job. Learn a lot and have some fun too :)
Ugh. i didn't like him. There would be questions on the exams that were not discussed in class and i would expect a higher grade then i got. i studied a lot but it didn't matter. He rambles on and on during class and we didn't cover all the material we were supposed to.
This guy is a total wierdo. The most awkward guy ive ever met. he cant answer your questions. just talks you thru the powerpoints. class is so boring its unbearable
DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK FOR THIS CLASS i did not open it once... the material for the test comes right from his note pack...he offers extra credit...a little boring at times... one of the easiest As ive ever gotten
I totally disagree with the weirdo comment, this professor is awesome, the class is great, decently easy, and he describes it in a different (not weird!) manner. He gives you EXTRA CREDIT opportunities, study guides, and a perfect layout of the info- but don't buy the book, you never open it!Take Capo. He's great.
He is awesome. Loves teaching and wants everyone to succeed. The material can be tough but he really explains it well, sometimes too well. He is a genuinely nice guy and is very knowledgeable. Tests are straight forward, if you understand the concepts you do well on the exams. And there is extra credit!
Excellent teacher. Patient, fair. Goes extra distance to help you understand material. Class attendence not required, but you would be making a big mistake if you didn't go. He provides alot of extra material to enhance classroom experience. Very relevant material presented to health science pursuits.
Great teacher! Don't buy the book, you don't need it. All of his exams come straight from the lecture and study guide book he asks you to buy ($20). Pay attention, ask questions, and you'll do great! He is a really funny guy and makes a night class go by fairly quickly.
A great Prof. He really likes the topic and knows a lot about it and it shows in his teaching. Exams are straight forward, he doesn't try to trick you. Highly recommended.
Do not buy the book! It's huge, and costs a lot of money. The only thing you need is his lecture notes which is where all of the exam questions come from, word for word. Memorize the notes and you'll be good to go. The final isn't accumulative, which is nice if you have other finals you're worried about!
Don't get eh book he gives you all his lecture notes in a packet. Really nice guy will answer any of your questions until you understand it. His tests are challenging but fair. He only asks questions about what was in lecture and doesn't ask about stupid topics. highly recommend him.
He is really enthusiastic about what he does and you can really tell he loves teaching about patho. He is extremely helpful especially because the course and material in the course is difficult and you need to put in some study hours. Only negative is that his class is solely based on exams.
Dr.C is very up-beat and passionate, and teaches in an easily understood manner. DO NOT buy that giant textbook, just buy his lecture packet! The exams are little challenging, but are all MC and mostly straightforward if you study the notes well. There's also one research paper that is an easy 25 points bc he grades it super easy! Highly recommend!
He teaches by powerpoints that are well laid out. He's very energetic and excited about patho, which helps keep the lectures interesting. He explains things very thoroughly, almost to a fault. I didn't buy the textbook and did just fine without it.. Definitely buy the notepack though. Know the details for the tests, but they are fair.
One of the best! Don't buy the book- just the note pack. Can't fake it in this class, know it to be able to discuss it or tests will be difficult. but otherwise he is as helpful and as they come. Highly recommend>
Capodilupo was a very straight forward prof. You can get away with not buying the book and just buying his packet. All test questions will be covered in the packet. We had a paper but I think he just gave everyone a 100% on it. Helpful when you go to his office hours as well.
Dr. Capodilupo is an amazing man! He truly cares about his students and their success. He lectures in a way that is very easy to follow and comprehend. He does't try and trick you on his exams and they are very straightforward. All you need is his workbook, never touched the textbook. For the exams just know his workbook and you'll be fine!
He doesn't take a lot of questions in class, but is extremely in-depth and helpful during office hours. If you find yourself confused about anything, just visit during office hours. If it's been a while since you've had Anatomy & Physiology don't worry. He gives a brief reminder of the normal physiology before he covers each topic.
He was very knowledgeable. Sometimes that made it difficult to know what to study for exams. If you study what is typed in the note packet you will do well. You don't need the book. One paper and 4 exams make up your final score.
Professor Capodilupo is one of the nicest professors I have ever had. He LOVES what he teaches and really cares about his students. His class consists of tests and one paper. Tests can be tough, but if you put in the study time, you will do fine. I never bought the book, just the packet of notes that he makes himself.
the best prof I have had so far at GV. very easy to understand and he's passionate about the material and wants to make sure everyone is able to understand it. assigns one writing assignment on a disease of your choice, it's a pretty easy assignment and a good grade booster. make sure you get the note packet from the bookstore- he lectures from it!
This class is not that hard if you study thoroughly before the tests. He is the nicest man and the best professor. He loves what he teaches and that makes it more enjoyable to learn. Class is mandatory in order to get the information on the test. BUY HIS NOTE PACK, NOT THE McCANCE BOOK.
Dr. Capodilupo is probably the best teacher I've ever had. He really cares and is brilliant. You will learn your pathophysiogy very well. Show up to class and don't really need the book. His coursepack is fantastic.
Seriously the most adorable professor I have ever had. This man is the human version of a gummy bear, literally TOO nice. You won't need the book if you just pay close attention in close. I wouldn't say the class is easy but it's an upper level BMS class so it shouldn't be. Take him if you can!! I will miss his jolly face!
If you buy the course pack and you memorize every word of it, you will get an A. Extremely straight forward. If you cannot get the grade you want in this class, it's simply because you didn't study hard enough. There is no trickery involved in his exams. The one paper you have to write is very easy, and he even gives a little extra credit on it.
Dr. Capodilupo is an amazing teacher. The textbook is not needed, only the $20 note packet. Attending lectures is required, as there is a lot to add to the notes he provides. Extremely helpful with questions and very accommodating if you have medical issues to work around (for me, surgery).
One of my favorite professors. He is very personable and you can tell he is passionate about what he is doing. Buy the course pack and not the 10 pound book. Go to class. Definitely do the objectives as you go along, not right before the exam. Capodilupo is very helpful in office hours, and acted as somewhat of a mentor, great guy! 10/10 recommend!
What an amazing person! So passionate about helping students understand pathophysiology. Willing to help outside of class and is just so open and accessible! One of the best experiences I have ever had and I am a second degree student!! He was amazing, would take any class if he taught it!
Very knowledgeable & makes sure students are following. Available for at least an hr after every class & has office hours. Responds promptly to emails. Communicates well. 1 paper for the class, very simple- you have to try to fail the paper. Only possibility for pts was 4 tests and a 20pt paper. Book helpful, but not required Im RN-BSN student
Capodilupo is amazing! Take him if you have the chance. Do not buy the book, it'll just sit and collect dust. Do buy his note pack and add notes throughout lectures. Memorize the note pack and your additional notes and you will be just fine. Very straightforward. He is extremely passionate about what he does and he wants to see you succeed!
Dr. Capodilupo is the most inspiring professor that I have ever had at GVSU! I had him for BMS 310 and BMS 495, so I saw him twice a day most days of the week and he was always so passionate and you can tell he truly wants students to excel. Clear about expectations and is always available outside of class.
If you're an upper level science major I don't have to tell you to miss lectures, but seriously don't miss his lectures. He gives a great note packet for student use, but he adds to much verbally to his lectures, you need to be there. The class isn't easy, but Capodilupo makes in fun and loves to help.
One of my favorite professors ever - he truly loves his subject! One thing though is to really study the note packet, as well as come to class, since he often mentions things not in the note packet.
I had him for pathophysiology which I was scared about, but he made the lectures entertaining and had thing for all kinds of learners (visual, kinesthetic, auditory...) He had some dad jokes which was a nice comic relief from the heavy material. Tests are a bit hard but if you keep up with the material and ask questions its not bad.
Professor Capodilupo was one of the best professors I've had, he was so passionate about the class and truly cares about the students. He also made jokes from time to time and I loved coming to his class. The class itself was a bit hard, there were only four tests and a paper, so you really had to study the note packet and take notes during lecture
He was a super dorky and funny professor and you can't help but love him. His exams were hard but it's also a 300 level science class so honestly it was what I was expecting. His course pack helped a ton. I noticed he says random things in the lecture that aren't in the course pack and it will show up on the exam so make sure you pay attention.
His character is so lovable! It is very obvious that he actually wants you to do well, and he has a deep passion for pathophysiology. It's not like an easy A class, but if you work for it, you will do fine. Take him, he's great. Hint: take good notes, you need his booklet. If you listen well in class, studying shouldn't be too hard
Quite possibly the best professor at GVSU. I have never had a more genuine, kind and caring professor. His lectures were interesting and he was very knowledgeable. He smiles so much and has a silly sense of humor- you can't help but adore him! I would definitely take him again in a heartbeat!
Very passionate about teaching. Go to his office, he helps you to understand the materials better. Talk to him he listens and he cares. You have to study the note pocket over and over. Listen keenly to his lecture. He gives clear explanations. Very nice professor.
Dr. Capodilupo is not only an awesome professor, but a genuinely great person! He cares that students actually learn the material; he offers good explanations when trying to learn difficult material and is very approachable during office hours. He gives great feedback; I wish he taught every science class!
Prof. Capodilupo is a very nice guy who honestly loves teaching his students. His tests are kinda hard so I recommend making flashcards. Even though I didn't get the grade I wanted in this course, I would still take him again because he's one of the best profs I've had. He only grades 1 paper and 4 exams so make sure you know them inside and out.
Professor Cap is the most genuine professor out there and truly cares about the well being of his students. I would highly recommend him for this course. The grade is based on 4 tests and a paper. You definitely need to put time and effort into this course while taking additional notes during lectures in order to do well. Loved this class.
This class, although far from a great grade, was one of the most challenging courses I've taken but also one of the most enjoyable. Prof. Capodilupo gives thorough explanations and genuinely cares about his students and wants to see everyone succeed. His lectures do get somewhat monotonous but they are worth attending for studying later.
I originally read ch 1&2 didnt help. You may want the book to reference. Study f/ the course packet you have to buy. We did one research paper, not too difficult and 4 exams. He only grades off of that. He is a great, approachable, intelligent teacher, goofy. study! this class is tough! lots of great information, study immediately, very interesting
I wish Dr. Capodilupo taught other classes. If only he weren't so helpful, I would happily take his pathophys class again! You can tell he spends lots of time to give a good, relevant lecture with up-to-date med news that he is passionate about. You'll do great on exams if you buy his note packet!
He is a great professor, very genuine and quirky. He loves his students and is very passionate about the course. If you buy the notebook he creates for the class, you will do fine. However, it does require effort.
One of the best profs I have ever had!! Take him if you can
Dr. C is probably one of the most caring professors I have ever had. He is very passionate about teaching. At first it seems as though he is over-explaining concepts, but they just seem to stick so much better when he teaches.
It's my 4th year in college and I have NEVER had a better teacher. His exams are not tricky; he's short and to the point (you either know it or you don't). He takes the time after every class to write up a detailed summary of what we covered in case you had to skip, or missed something. He also gives ACTUALLY interesting supplemental information.
Dr. C was an amazing professor for BMS 310. He really cared a lot about his students and was always engaged during lectures. Dr. C has you purchase a notepack with all the notes so you really don't have to attend lecture, unless you want to because he's an excellent teacher. The exams were tricky to me, you had to work for it. Dr. C is amazing!!!
To do well in the course you'll need to put in a lot of time memorizing the information and pay attention during lecture.
This was a tough class, but if you put in the time to studying and memorizing his course pack, you should be fine!
He is an amazing professor. His expectations and the class as a whole are super straightforward. You can tell he has a passion for the material he is teaching, and it is inspirational to listen to his lectures. He also provides you with note outlines for each day so if you miss class it is easy to catch up. Great experience overall!
Capodilupo is super positive, passionate and always cares about what you have to say! Exams are directly from his objectives
Overall, he really cares about his students. You can tell he is extremely passionate about what he does. I found the tests to be difficult even with studying the objectives over a week in advance. Its defiantly doable but getting an A is a challenge. The class is extremely heavy on tests which are 400 points and 30 for one paper.
This man is an angel. Literally the nicest, kindest, most caring professor at GV. He just wants you to learn the material. I felt the exams were easy, straightforward, directly from lecture. I studied only the night before and got an A on every one. He suggests reading the book but I only opened it 3 times, I suggest not buying it. Best prof at GV.
Incredible professor! This is my second time having Dr. Cap and he never fails you! He is so caring and willing to help. If you're struggling on a topic visit his office and he will have hundreds of other ways to explain a concept. His lectures are straight to the point and so easy to follow with his textbook. He really cares about his students.
One of the best professors I've had at GVSU, 100% recommend! He absolutely loves what he's teaching and this makes it easy to listen to his lectures & learn from him. I love that he includes small videos & new journal articles into his lectures that correspond to what he's teaching. He also adjusted really well to teaching remotely due to COVID-19!
LOVE Capodilupo!! His lectures are funny and interesting. The homework can be a lot of work, but it's easy. His tests and quizzes are also easy if you study what is on the homework. You can tell he really cares about his students and tries hard to get them to succeed. I would take his class again in a heart beat.
He is SOO nice and really wants you to succeed. His class can be a little slow moving but he is a great guy and will ensure you understand the concepts and are prepared for the tests. Make sure you study the labs for tests and quizzes because some questions are pulled directly from the lab assignments. I loved this class, I would take it again!
Professor C is really passionate about what he does, and don't let the intimidation of pathophysiology fool you! It's really interesting and he tries his best to teach it in a way that is understandable and easy to follow! Easily the best choice for BMS 310 and he really wants to make sure that you grasp the concepts. He is ALWAYS available!
Absolutely love Dr. Capodilupo! He really cares if you succeed and is always available. His exams are really straight-forward if you study the note pack. I didn't even purchase the textbook. He includes all the info you need in the note pack and lectures. I would definitely take him again if I could.
I have literally never loved a professor more than Dr. Capodilupo. Pathophys is a lot of hard work and takes a lot of studying, but he explains everything so well and wants nothing more than for everyone to succeed. I can't imagine going through this class with any other prof, do whatever you can to take his class!!!!
Capodilupo gives you an introduction to the disease process of the body to use in practical settings. He also provided supplementary material to make you an expert in this class. He provides thorough answers to the questions asked and will have no trouble understanding the material.
Hi. Take Dr. C, you wont regret it. So accessible -inside and outside of class, personal or educational concerns! The class requires time and effort, but he goes out of his way to help students succeed. He gives you everything you need for the exams; so there is no way you can fail-unless you are trying. Module assignments are long, but helpful!
I absolutely loved Dr. C! I had him for lab, and he explained the material better than what I learned in lecture. His assignments are very straightforward (and some were done in class). He really knows his material, and he wants the best for his students. He is super caring and is lenient on deadlines. Take him whenever you have the chance!
Dr. Capodilupo makes hard content really engaging and breaks important concepts down to help you understand better. The most caring professor I have ever had, and is always so responsive to emails if you need help. He makes his own book of notes that you buy from the Lakerstore and it's so helpful I will never throw it away. Take this wonderful man
TAKE HIM! You will get your entire lab report done while he is talking. All the answers are either gone through in class through experiments or found in the textbook. He is so incredibly sweet and wants everyone to succeed. Yes, he is boring, and yes he may talk for the full 3 hours, but your GPA will thank you.
Dr. Capodilupo is the nicest professor I have encountered at GVSU. Pathophys is a very hard class and he makes it 1000% worth it. Exams are lockdown which sucks but his lecture packets are AMAZING at explaining and giving clear direction. Such a gem
I was struggling very bad with anxiety while taking his class and he was very easy to talk to about it. He was very compassionate, you can tell he truly cares about his students in and out of the classroom. He is great at helping you understand a difficult subject and is very fair. Would take again in a heart beat, best professor I have ever had!
The professor is very enthusiastic and excited about teaching the material, but his lectures tend to be extremely boring. I would have much rather preferred to do more hands-on activity as the lectures were just extremely long and went through one ear and out the other. His lectures he creates are helpful for studying.
Overall, great professor. He was so caring, encouraging and enjoyed teaching pathophysiology. The class as a whole is very hard however he made it clear of what we should know. The tests are on resopondus and there are 10 homework assignments, I never used the book but attending class really helped me.
Prof Cap is amazing, he is so passionate about pathophysiology & is encouraging toward his students. The class has 10 assignments based on the lecture that works as a study guide for the exams. There are 4 exams throughout the semester that are tough, and there is no final. There's a lot of content in this class but he makes it manageable.
Overall a great professor for lab! Always available for help when needed and was very helpful answering questions in class. Lectures can be a bit long but he tries his best to make them interesting. He is very knowledgeable and definitely enjoys what he is doing. Lab is hard so if you do take it, I would recommend it be with him!
Professor Capodilupo is the sweetest man and he is just so adorable. He truly cares about his students and is so passionate about the class. Patho is a hard class, but he is good at teaching it, and the lecture note packet he created is so helpful. The exams are average, some questions harder than others, but he is a great professor and person.
The best professor that I have ever had, hands down. Incredibly sweet, caring, really knows pathophys. His tests are hard if you don't study. He's one of those professors that if you study the note pack and do the weekly modules, you can get an A easily. He's actually one of the few professors where I loved listening to his lectures! TAKE HIM.
Dr. Capodilupo (Cap) is the most motivating, enthusiastic professor I have ever had. He was so good after I took him for pathophys, I switched into his capstone class. These classes are definitely content heavy, so If you buckle down, he will make sure you succeed. Highly recommend him for anything!
Professor Capodilupo is a king! Pathophysiology is hard course, but his lectures were great. You can tell he is super passionate about the content he teaches.
Dr. Capodilupo is THE NICEST prof. He genuinely cares about teaching his students, and is very helpful with content that is confusing. He is so passionate about the content, which makes lectures easy to listen to. Take him if you have the chance.
Dr. Capo was the sweetest guy you'll ever take class from! With that being said, his lectures were long and not very entertaining. I found his online lectures to be more straightforward than in person ones. Do the optional assignments; your grade will be 2 letter grades higher in the end. Exams are tough, so I recommend purchasing his blue book
In my 6 years of college, Dr. Cap is the best professor I have had to date. It is so clear that he cares about his students and wants you to learn. The content is hard, be prepared. But there is seriously nobody more capable of making this difficult information easier to learn. This was my favorite class ever and I will always always love Dr. Cap
Fantastic class with a fantastic professor! His notepack follows along with all of his lectures. His assignments are optional (skipping them doesn't harm your grade, doing them helps 'dilute' your exam grade) and are basically study guides that you fill out. Do them! Very open to questions and wants his students to succeed! Exams are very fair.
Neuroscience with Dr. Capodilupo is amazing. A really interesting class taught by someone who loves to teach it and wants the best for his students. Class is graded by exams, 1 writing assignment, and the module assignments. Provides great supportive feedback and is easily accessible for questions or help. Exams are completely fair. I recommend!
Easy professor for doing independent research!!!
He was wonderful. He is very caring, intelligent and offers lots of resources for his lectures. I really like his textbook, it has been very helpful. His slideshows are organized and contain visual aids. He's someone you want to protect.
Professor Cap is super passionate and genuinely wants students to succeed. The course is content-heavy, but his organized lectures and optional assignments make it manageable. unstuck AI was a lifesaver for study prep.
He is awesome and loves teaching. He cares about everyone and wants them to succeed. His class is lecture heavy and sometimes he rushes but he also puts videos on blackboard and stays after class as long as needed to help and answer questions. He puts a lot of passion into his lectures which makes it enjoyable. Also has extra credit opportunities.
Best prof Ive ever had. Offers extra credit and the exams are very reasonable!
He truly wants students to succeed as is readily available to help. I struggled in this class as I found it hard to maintain focus during the lectures, but he teaches the content well and offers lecture videos to watch outside of class. Although attendance is not mandatory, I would recommend going, as his in-class explanations are very helpful.
I am shocked he even has one bad review. I have been going through a really difficult year as a non-traditional student. Dr. Capodilupo has gone ABOVE and beyond to accommodate me academically and emotionally. He is the most caring professor I have ever encountered. 10000/10 rating.
