You guys have got to be kidding, this guy is so easy. He grades very easily, you can do a horrible job on a speech and he still gives you an A on it. You can skip class if you dont have an assignment done and he wont mark it late. He is extremely lenient. He's kind of a strange guy but his class is a very easy A.

I disagree with a lot of the reviews. I found him to be a big help, very nice and not an easy grader. I did get an A but I did have to work for it. If you like sarcasim he is the man! I love sarcastic people so it worked for me!

im taking his class ATM he really has a distinct humor. yeah he never learns your name lol like the other guy said he always calls u other names. hes not that hard but you have to do the papers he just wants quality work Overall hes really boring and has funny glasses that make his eyes huge haha hes not that bad though Its easy so far

He is very dry and sarcastic. But I find that hilarious so it was fine. His assignments are easy and he practically grades for effort. He did miss a few classes but he doesn't expect anything out of you when he does. I enjoyed this class and learned a lot.

If you want an A just do take his class, very flexible and cool...Great and got an A that speaks for itself!

He is very interesting... as stated before, and he has a very strange sense of humor. He looks like an mad scientist which is kind of amusing... Work= not very challenging. You don't really have to read the book just look on spark notes before class and you should be fine ;)He is fun and a very nice guy i have never seen him be mean to someone.

If you're even a little intelligent this class is cake, and its strictly practicing your English through assignments. Follows syllabus exactly. Listen and pay attention, he tells you exactly what he wants. Textbook really was not used a lot so you could not buy it and finds ways around it. Idiots, don't ask dumb questions, you will be insulted.

I freak'n love this teacher!!!He's FAB! Easy class, easy A...He almost never shows up and enables you to have more time for yourself. Work is a no brainer and i highly recommand him for all englishes and speech!

Really laid back and hilarious. Work is ridiculously easy and he always ends class early. I would highly recommend him.

this class was sick, he never remembers your name all you need to do is come to class with the paper he tells you to write and never anything else, he tells you to read some stuff in the book but no one does so he talks to himself the who time and lets you out early... highly recommend taking his class for everything if you don't want to do anythin

Awesome professor! Grades fairly and is understanding.

I thought he was very easy. He would tell us to read things out of the book to discuss in next class but he never tested on them and just talked about it in class. He misses class alot and there is a couple assignments but he is a very EASY grader and just puts words like interesting and funny on your paper. Not to strict.

3 test, all open book & fairly easy. 3 speeches required, he says they have due dates-- but he let me extend mine. He responds to e-mails and is very helpful. I recommend him!!!

LOVE CHAMBERLAIN! Such an easy class, I took him for ENC1102 and SPC1608. Easy grader; you present a paper to the class (a short summary of what you wrote) in ENC1102, and in SPC1608, you write a few papers and read about 4 speeches, the longest being a 5 minute minimum. Answers emails fast, cancels class a few times, usually lets you out early.

This professor was awesome, very clear and to the point.

This professor is the absolute best! He is very helpful and responds to emails very quickly. I would defiantly recommend him to anyone who needs to take the classes he teaches.

This class prepares you for any field. The group assignments were interesting. Not all classes give you the opportunity to work with other students.

Hands down my favorite teacher, super sarcastic and loves to mess with students. He has a VERY dry sense of humor and will call you a weird name and insist that it is whats on the attendance. If you take this class go in with a good attitude, play along and do your discussion posts. I got a 95% in the class and i didn't even work that hard.

Easiest class I have ever taken, grades very clear, goofy, hilarious, not held in class for full class period, goes over items that are due to make sure you have a clear understanding of when it's due. Literally the coolest teacher I have met and I was in my first semester of college.

Dr. Chamberlain is a great professor. His class is fairly easy as long as you write the papers. He has a dry sense of humor and is quite funny. You will learn some stuff about writing and you will have a good time. There is some group work but mostly done in class. I like him so much that I registered for another one of his classes.

Dr. Chamberlain is a great professor. This is the third class I have taken with him. He is funny and not too serious. His grading criteria is clear. If you do what you are supposed to do and on time, you will be successful in his class. As long as you can deal with him calling you by the wrong name, you will enjoy his class. Read the material

Dr. Chamberlain made this class so easy. He responds fast to email and doesn't grade harshly. I wish I could've found him earlier so i could've taken him for more classes with. Online there's 3 Papers, 3 speeches,and 3 tests. Papers are a 500 word minimum and the longest speech is 5 min and the tests are way too easy.

Prof Chamberlain is a great speech teacher. I recommend his late start class. I hate Public speaking but he makes it very easy to pass. wouldn't recommend any other teacher other than him.

super easy!!!! class online. I enjoyed doing all the assignments and writing 500 words for 3 papers was actually pretty easy. Got 100% each time and I hate writing and have bad grammar. grades fast, sometimes within few mins. The speeches were easyyyy too!!!. he never writes announcements and there is no communication. gives one sentence feedback.

Took this class over the summer during the covid pandemic. The work was simple. Tests were super easy, only 3. Only 3 speeches, 3 papers (500 words), 5 easy discussions. Do the work and you'll pass. I don't understand the negative reviews. Take the online class. Easy A!!!

Not much to do for this class, one assignment each week, all were pretty easy. You have to pay attention to outline due dates, as they are not a notification. I got 100 on everything, the papers and speeches are not challenging. He let me redo an outline multiple times. Three tests, gave study guides each time. Last test was one question

You would have to try very hard to fail this class. There are a few short speeches, and even fewer tests. About half of the tests were cancelled anyways. The most work you will have to do is read part of the text and write a short essay on the material, and post it to a discussion. Take this class for easy A and tips on giving speeches.

Not much work in this class. Some speeches, short papers, and discussions. Participate in the assignments, and complete everything early. He grades quickly, and fairly. The way the assignments are laid out on canvas is confusing so just refer to the calendar.

Lenient grader and grades assignments very quickly. Easy A+ and not much work.
