Probably the best proffessor in this school. He is very unique. It's impossible to fall asleep. He's halarious and a really good proffessor. I hate history and he actually made it fun. I recommend highly!

This professor is funny and totally full of energy. He loves what he does, unlike many at MCC, and makes the material interesting. Grades are based largely on taking good notes on his lectures, but if you're prepared to go, do this, and work on your essays early, he'll look over drafts, which is very helpful.

awesome professor, all you have to do is go to class and pay attention and youll get a good grade, no tests all you have to do is write your notes word for word in an essay for your grades (if you take good notes very easy). Probably the most helpful teacher you will ever meet. He truly does goes all out in trying to help and ensure you do well, not just in school, but all around. Constantino's class is unique expeirence you do not come across often. He is knowledgable and extremely passionate about his subject, you will see him jump on chairs and sweat explaining things to you. He makes history material vivid and memorable. His home essays are long and very detailed, however I believe most of the class got A and B.Take him!

He was a great professor very, VERY passionate about history and his students. His tests were extrememly easy. Don't miss any classes because for his tests you have to rewrite the notes in the form of a report. Exactly what he says word for word. Very nice gentleman. The brilliant madman of MCC. He assigned 2 extremely long papers (taken directly from notes in class, which is mandatory if you want to pass, anywhere from 9-15 pages if you want a good grade). Demands attention every minute of class, but extremely funny and knowledgeable. You will learn. Do not buy the textbook. Get a tape recorder instead.

Professor Constantino is an incredible Professor. It's an easy grade, but you do have to work for it by attending every single class, taking the notes, and writing long (but easy) essays. Professor Constantino is a crazy fun professor. Lots of notes but he tells you what to exactly write. We had papers as our tests directly on our notes burn because someone cheated we had tests in class which were sort of hard. Other than that, he will have you crying laughing. Definitely recommend him but you can't miss class bc you NEED the notes!

I'm so happy I enrolled in Professor Constantino's class. I've never seen anyone with so much energy at 8 am. I would highly recommend taking his class, but you have to take it very seriously because missing a class means you miss so much information for the essays and exam. Very down-to-earth professor. The class is very simple. Come to class, participate, take notes, and write essays about the notes. Guaranteed A if you do all of the above. Probably one of the best professors at MCC. He is one of those few professors that actually makes you like going to class. This is the best prof. at mcc. He is hilarious and really cares about his students. He will make you write papers, and rewrite papers , and rewrite them again until they are perfect, but believe it or not you will love every second of it.

The most vital part of this class is to attend the lectures. The lecture is the only source for essays, and the final exam. There are extra credit opportunities also. One thing I noticed was that he knows all of his students by name, which is nice and refreshing. Don't skip details on essays even they seem small. If it is in your notes, include it.

I took him spring 2018 and he is awesome 99% of the reviews here are true also yes he is strict on attendance and due dates on essays but when I had him he postponed due dates for better grades and I missed 12 classes and still ended up with an 83 he also gave me 10 extra points on my final its like he wants everyone to get an A or atleast a B!!

If History is the least satisfying thing you can possibly think of he'll show you otherwise, He is passionate about what he does, he holds high standards for your work and rightfully so he goes over everything that you need to know in "MASSIVE" DEPTH. If you fail his class it is completely because of your own laziness.

He assigns several take home essays throughout the semester, no midterm and the final is fill in the blank (with word bank). I am definitely taking him for HIS132!

I took 3 or 4 of his classes got As on all of them. I really learned a lot and hes an amazing prof. He literally gives you everything you need for the papers and exams. He gives you many opportunities to ask questions or to repeat things. DO NOT use your phone, if you need to step outside. You literally have to TRY in order to fail his classes.

A very passionate, dedicated, and smart professor. His class was the only class I actually looked forward to, history wasn't my favorite subject but his teaching style changed that. Doesn't give lots of work but he has a high expectation of you when he does give work(write every single note) I wish I can take his class again but it gets full fast!

Professor Constantino is one of the best professors at MCC, sadly his class section got canceled which forced me to drop History as the History department changed the professor. Class is mainly notes, take-home essays, and a Final. He is a really energetic and one of a kind professor. Take him you won't ever fail! I will be taking him for Fall 2020

I am currently taking Professor Constantino and his teaching style is simply phenomenal. He sends us lecture videos and extra credit assignments to boast our grades, his exams are fill in the blanks and it is straight from notes. Best professor, took him for both histories. His teaching style is amazing. He wants you to learn the material, not memorize it. His "exams" are based off of your notes. Literally word for word, so theres no reason why you should get lower than an A. some assignments every few weeks but nothing too crazy, he extends it so you have a week to do it.

Professor Constantino is one of my favorites, the way he teaches it is as if he is telling stories. Exams are literally from the notes and they are super easy including his assignments which are fun and exciting as we get to watch different movies. Take him you won't regret it!!!!

Professor John Constantino is a really funny and nice guy. He do not use the textbook at all. The class was online but the professor does not believe in zoom meeting so he shoots his video and uploads on canvas for students also his test and quizzes are so easy. Also, he made the test and quizzes by himself so you won't find the questions outside.

I had Professor Constantino for the Fall2020 sem which was conducted all online. While there were a few hiccups with uploading content for tests (which was the main thing we were graded on) it was an overall smooth semester. He's such an amazing prof, you can really tell he loves teaching and his passion for the subject is infectious. Def recommend

Straight A professor. All he does is, uploads lecture videos, wants you to watch them and take notes. 2 exams, and 3 assignments (in which he will give you full credit)Wants you to learn. xams are word banks with options given and everything is from notes. Prof. Constantino is the most amazing teacher I've had in my entire life. Never once have I had someone care so much and be so passionate about what they were doing. He makes sure that you learn and will answer any questions you will have. He can be a little slow to answer emails but that's the only slight issue. He makes class fun and engaging!

I have never enjoyed a class more in my 14 years of being in school. This professor is naturally funny and you actually learn and want to learn in this class. I missed a few homeworks s because I was lazy but realistically you can finish this class with a 100 no doubt. If you fail this class there is something wrong with you. Take this class

Professor Constantino is passionate about teaching history he makes sitting in class bearable with his interesting lectures and ties life lessons into his lectures. He is always making sure that students are prepared for exams and essays that he assigns and he is always willing to help if he sees you are putting in the effort to pass his class.

You can tell he cares about teaching and will help you understand the material more whether you want the help or not. He also tries to make every class very exciting as well as give homework that helps show you paid attention instead of assignments that other teachers assign so that they don't have to teach. 100% recommend.

Anyone who leaves a bad rate for professor constantino seriously just has personal problems. He was my favorite professor of the semester and truly cares about his students. He wants to see everyone learn and do well. If you show up to class its hard to fail. He makes his lectures enjoyable and genuinely puts effort in to keep everyone focused.

He loves what he does and you can tell his tests are all based fully on his lectures, he provides the textbook imagines when its part of the work so dont buy the textbook i got 100 on all his tests so just make sure to do the lectures but he does not accept any late work at all the tests are fill in the blank

Professor Constantino is fantastic. He is clear about what is expected. Attendance is mandatory, you need to take notes for the take-home essays. He does NOT give any exams (except for the final) or readings. Very clear about what to write down. Genuinely cares about teaching, office hours are open. Don't email. If you fail, that's really on you.

I took his class this spring and it was an online course. He gave us lectures to watch, they were honestly interesting, easy to follow, and I learned something. As long as you watch the lectures and take notes you'll pass.

I had him twice once online and once in person. As long as you pay attention in his class you will be fine. He is very energic and you will laugh. He cares about what he is teaching and is passionate about it.

Took HIS131 & HIS132. Great lectures, makes history entertaining if it's not an interest of yours. Very little reading, which is a nice change of pace. Easy tests and homework for the most part. Excellent course and professor.

Literally the BEST professor I have ever had here at middlesex. He is so funny, and caring and makes you enjoy class so much. I actually learned so much history due to his teaching styles. You will not regret taking him, he is so easy to talk to!!

Took during summer. Very few assignments, doesn't use the textbook. Prerecorded lecture videos that are very entertaining. Tests are easy. Assignments are easy. Awful at responding to emails, though. If you email him, don't expect a response for at least several days. I emailed him at the end of the semester, and he really just never responded.

He's literally the best professor. He keeps you engaged, making you participate and keeping you interested in what he's saying. He's extremely eccentric. Only thing about him is that it's all essays for assignments. Make sure you're taking notes or your essay will get a bad grade since he wants all his notes in the essays.

Do not expect a typical Ben Stein Professor from this man. He is the most entertaining and passionate man in the classroom. Essays SOUND like a lot however if you follow your notes word for word you will pass without a doubt. There is no text book or outside sources the notes are all you need.

If you get the chance to take him then do so. The way he teaches is fun and keeps everyone engaged, I felt like I was actually learning because of him. He genuinely cares about you and just wants you to do well. So do your work and don't miss class because it's easy to fall behind and fail if you do.

this is one of the few professors that actually CARES for the students. he clearly wants everyone to ace his class and he makes sure the lectures are entertaining. he is funny and the only work you need to do is submit essays that as long as you have notes you will ace with no sweat. take him!

Great History professor, never met anyone like him. His class is great and you'll only have to do 4 essays that are basically just your notes, formality doesn't really matter. As long as you attend lectures, take notes, and don't use AI, you're pretty much set for a good grade. If you can't write an essay without AI, don't take the class.

This professor is extremely passionate about how he teaches and always stays after class to help anyone who missed anything or has any questions. I took him for both World History 1 and 2. His lectures are very engaging and the only assignments he gives are essays, but the essays are just the notices in paragraph form. I would 100% recommend him!

His lectures were the only light for the semester. The best way to describe professor is that he is goated. He gave clear assignments and made funny lectures. I wish there were more professors like him. THANK YOU FOR BEING SO CHILL.

The lectures are engaging, and the professor genuinely cares about student success. Essays are the main assignments, but Unstuckstudy can be a helpful study tool alongside the textbook.

He is a good teacher, the classes are easy, you just have to watch the lectures. There are exams at the end of each unit, they are a bit difficult but if you keep up your grades from the beginning it won't affect you.

First off, I want to clarify and say that I enjoyed this class and learned a lot. I also wouldn't hesitate to take his class again! Attendance is very important Essays are due on material covered in class and in order to full grasp the material you need to be there. Take the class you won't regret it. He also wants to see you succeed WRITE IT DOWN!

I loved his class so much. The class is very lecture-heavy and attendance is very mandatory. He made the lessons very engaging and memorable and it was probably the most fun class I've ever taken. Really the only assignments are essays. Though not often, he does assign a couple essays at a time which can get stressful, but the rubric is very clear.

Constantino was the best lecturer I've had at MC. He might come off as intense at first, but his style of teaching is extremely deliberate; he wants his lectures to feel like a story. They're genuinely riveting. Sometimes he'd leave the class on a cliff hanger that legitimately gave me goosebumps. Genuinely the most entertaining history class.

He was one of my favorite teachers at Middlesex College. He's not a fan of technology so bring your attention, a notebook, and a pencil. He genuinely cares about his students and their success, but he's a bit sassy. I will say, I've never paid more attention or cared about history until his class. I wish he could teach all my classes.

I took this class online, and the expectations were always clear and manageable. The professor posted video lectures along with assignments, and the exams were fill-in-the-blank with all the answers covered in the lectures. He's an awesome professor who is funny, passionate, and clearly cares about his students. Highly recommend!

Took him for world history 1 and 2 in the summer. Online course. Only one assignment every 1-2 weeks. And they usually only took a few minutes. He uploads lecture videos and they're actually really engaging. Would've loved to take his class irl, he seems like such a nice guy. No essays, very easy grader. Extra credit is 20 points on ur lowest exam.

I've taken world history 1 and 2 online with him and I absolutely love it. He's so funny and entertaining. The class is mostly pre recorded lecture videos you watch and take notes from, and then the exams are based on those notes, plus a few assignments. There are a lot of videos to get through, but other than that it's not hard at all & he's nice!
