Crombie is awesome! He is so understanding and very helpful with any needs a student may have. Hes also extremely funny and keeps things interesting. Grading process is perfect. If you put effort into class you get an A by his standard.

Mr. Crombie is soooo cool! He cares about his students and their progress. As long as he sees that you are putting effort into coming to class and doing your work, you will get a good grade. He is very helpful and always tells you not to worry, which always made me more relaxed. GREAT TEACHER!!!!!

The best english teacher I ever had. He helped me improve my essay writting and english understanding. I would tell everyone to take him for these two classes. I made A's in both classes, but I worked really hard to improve myself and writting. He class really doesn't require lots of effort.

This is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. He cares about his students and helps them as much as they need and beyond. What I learned will help me through out college. He incorporates required timed writings with Gordon rule to have one less paper than all other professors. I would advise everyone to try to get this professor.

HAHAHA. Why cant every teacher be this cool???? The first day of class, he told us to call him "Dr. Crombizzle." This guy is really cool. And when I saw him around campus after the semester I had him, he still said hi to me. He treates his students with respect, and still manages to teach the material needed.

Crombie is an easy going guy. There are only 3 papers you have to write for his class only 1 requires a lot of effort. He gives you plenty of time to complete all assignments. I highly reccommend Mr Crombie you will learn a lot about how to make your papers better with out adding a bunch of bull sh@# He does take attendance every day so go to class

Great teacher, knows what he's doing, apparently took his ENC 1101 from Pekins (who is amazing too). Loves to make funny noises when he thinks he made a smart comment (lol), and always uses the word DANGIT in the place of other curse words, which is a relief. Only requires 3 major essays, and four, easy, in-class, timed essays. Def. take his class.

Best DAMN!!! professor I've ever had...this man knows how to teach I got an A in his class..and learned how to write a real college paper. If you take him you will learn something for sure...Just come to class most of the time and you will pass with flying colors...if you miss class don't miss more than 6...but no one in our class failed.

Crombie is a remarkable teacher ? I took his classes a couple of years ago and I still using the staff we thought me. When he tells you to use the MLA format properly is because you really going to use it if you continue on university. Definitely take his classes, you would learn and enjoy attending to them?..

I LOVE THIS MAN! PLEASE TAKE CROMBIE! He is sooo laid back. When he assigns writings such as journals or exploratory writing (which seemed like the only thing we did), he only wants 1 page, unlike other ENC teachers who wants 1,000 words +, and he excepts late work. 1 research paper due close to the end of the semester and your done. GOOD TO GO!

Mr. Crombie is an extremely nice guy. Gives very little work, just in class essays and a few out of class writings and 1 research paper. He is extremely lenient and understanding, accepts late work regardless of why you were absent. Class can be boring sometimes, but overall I would absolutely suggest you take him for 1102.

You do have quite a few small writings, but only 1 page, and you have 3 papers that are a little bigger. He is always willing to help when you are doing an assignment, just go to his office and he will break it down. Loved HIm!

his classes are pretty boring but he is really cool. pretty much says the same thing over and over again. so if you miss something its your own fault. you write a lot of little papers and 3 main ones. he is an easy grader. you should defiantly take his class.

Strikes you as odd at first, but he really knows his stuff, and he is crystal clear, and gives you positive feedback on your essays, helps you to think outside the box and to critically analyze subject from an objective point of view, which is new for me, and he really is the best teacher at TCC!

he is a good english teacher. His grading can be a little hard but he will give u a chance to fix it and turn it in again so you dont have to worry about it. Take him east A it u attend class and do all you work.. final is soo easy

He is a little goofy at first, but quickly becomes funny. he also is an EASY teacher and i don't know how people fail his class. he takes a personal interest in the concerns and lives of students and is sensitve to personal porblems. kets you miss one-tenth of the class without fail.

Mr. C was the BEST! Believe those 50+ students who've reviewed him. He's clean cut and too the point with his lectures. He makes the topic relevant and interesting, his class is SUPER easy IF U GO He takes attendance daily & its 10% of your grade so watch out if you are a slacker! Great teacher - Allows student to choose subjects to write about instead of forcing a topic. No oral presentations. I would recommend this teacher for both young students and adult learners.

MR. Crombie was a very interesting and helpful teacher, I loved him. He is always there if you need help and want's all his students to pass. Make sure your on time for the in-class quizzes. He does take attendence and their's alot of reading but his shows good youtube videos to help you understand better. If you want to pass take Crombie.

I thought this class was incredibly easy, but that isn't what I wanted when I signed up for this course. It is definitely an easy A but if you want to challenge yourself and really delve into African American Literature than you will find yourself getting frustrated. I often left his class out of boredom, but he is very nice and wont let you fail.

Mr. Crombie is really funny. He keeps class interesting and tries his best to help his students any way he can. He'll help you with other class papers as well. He's a great teacher. LOVED this class! There is a lot of writing, which is to be expected. He is very clear as to what needs to be done to ace the assignments and the final exam. Pay attention, follow instructions, take his advice (esp. regarding time lines)and you will ace this class no problem! Crombie makes the class interesting and fun!

He is seriously an amazing teacher. He helped me with a lot of writing assignments I recieved for applications towards scholarships and other colleges. He loves making sure his students are doing well and he really just loves to sit and chat! He is really funny and really keeps the class going.

OMG I love this class. Very good professor, he is fun & he TEACH ! Everybody that took this class summer 2012 passed the class. I can't recall anybody dropping/withdrawing from his class. Papers are mad easy, journal & quizzes too . EASY A !!!!! Take him !!!!!!

I love his teaching style. He really helps you to be creative and think outside the box. Very compassionate about what he does and made this prereq fun.

Professor Crombie is the best English teacher I have had! He turns complicated theory into an intelligible whole. He motivates students to perform and alays takes their opinions into account. He defies convention in favor of what is actually supposed to be taught. He is a joy to be around.

This class isn't easy. It requires a lot of work. He grades your papers really hard checking for grammatical errors. He's a nice enough guy though and will help you to improve your writing.

*HIGHLY RECOMMEND* If anyone can improve your writing skills, he can. He teaches you not to write what you think the teacher wants, but just to write your raw thoughts and develop from there. My writing improved so greatly after taking this class.

Crombie is seriously the bomb dot com. Easiest class i've ever taken. He posts everything on blackboard so if you miss class it won't effect you. There is only one test at the end of the year and it's a vocab test, super easy, definite easy A.

Very easy class. Pretty easy grader and works with students! very understanding man, if you have to miss class for any reason let him know, and he'll work with you!
