He was disrespectful to the students. Also he never gave back assignments in a manner of time. We focused on social protest and not really English. I would not recommend this professor.

worst teacher i ever had. guy doesnt know how to teach, if you email him or anything he wont get back to you for a couple days. huge waste of money. guy teaches like this is high school again marking up tardies to an absence and all that crap.

He gives rude comments on essay, and the class is usually 3-4 minutes late to go. His class is very bored , and there always some article 10-15 pages to read and that's basically everyday. Not a helpful teacher.

He takes FOREVER to grade the assignments, especially essays. In the last day of class, he will post ten more grades that were never posted or mentioned about. He does not teach well, his rubic is not specific too.

This guy doesn't know how to teach, he basically tells you to do the essay but not teach you how to do it. His PowerPoint makes no sense and very unclear. The rubric is so general, nothing is specific. I don't recommend him.

This professor does not know how to teach. He is so inconsistent with his grading scale and is too rough on you. You ask him questions on certain assignments and no answers are given. He is unclear with his directions on the majority of his assignments. Definitely would not take his class again.

Looks like he got my first rating taken down. Garbage. Issues fake documents to young and easily influenced youth. His schedule is filled with eng101 and he's pumping propaganda with McGraw Hill borders edited onto it. Agitator and absolutely trying to influence young people in their “world views”. This dude has nothing but audacity. He likes to say he's a “lenient grader” but he literally grades nothing so I would love to know how he grades and maybe get some feedback. He doesn't respect these very grown ADULT students. Still discussing fairies and goblins and toads 10 minutes past the THREE HOUR class. As if 3 hours wasn't enough time…. Tells students to put their phone away, got mad at some dude for having a single airpod in. Doesn't find it disrespectful that he keeps students late though?

If there are any good reviews, he must be writing them himself. He needs to work on how he respects and communicates with people, especially his students. I did well since I did all of my work, but man was it rough. He reminds me of a teacher I had years ago, on a power trip with some crazy ego.

The professor is rude to students, he has been condescending to just about everyone. Most importantly the man has had multiple outbursts loudly snapping at specific classmates. I don't know what his personal issues are but it's being taken out on our class.

This teacher is overly rude to students. If you're not paying attention 100% of the time he'll make a passive aggressive comment or pull you aside after class. He is extremely egotistical and goes on little power trips constantly. Terrible at grading, he hasn't graded my essay from the beginning of the semester & finals are next week.

This class was honestly one of the worst I have taken at CGCC. The professor does not grade the 3+ assignments he gives us per week. He treats us adults paying for his class like children. His rubric for assignments is always wrong and hard to understand. The material is easy but redundant. He also goes over the allotted class time.

I have compiled a list of times he has been inappropriate and disrespectful to me, along with being a horrible professor. I am not alone in this, I have proof and other students complaining about his volatile and inappropriate behavior. This is unacceptable and CGCC needs to be more careful with who they hire.

I would say that in the class he is very condescending on his students. For the one's especially for the ones that never skipped a class. I was somebody that never skipped a class and was very overwhelmed for the amount of work given per week for the article we would have to read and annotate. Don't recommend this class!

It was actually ENH251 that I took, and I have gotta say, this might be the worst professor I have ever coordinated with in my entire two years at CGCC. I am writing this to warn others. Take at your own risk.

Not a great professor. Doesn't go above and beyond for struggling students. The assignments weren't fun and his feedback was never kind. He handles students unprofessionally, in a condescending manner. Glad it's over.

He claims that if you miss the discussion assignments in class, you can make up the points by completing them at home and submitting them on canvas. Well, I wouldn't do that. He never grades them and you'll just get a zero no matter what. He always waits till the last week of the semester to grade 50% of assignments.

Patronizing and imperious. Made me very uncomfortable as he often betrayed a feeling of superiority to me. Sort of unprofessional as an educator.

Strangely volatile. Implied incompetence when he spoke to me. His attitude is very belittling. Besides that, the homework and projects are overwhelming and it seems they are for him as well, as he can't seem to keep up with grading.

Bring a pillow to the class so when you lose consciousness your head won't slam on your desk. And bring a pillow for your pillow because your pillow will fall asleep too. I eventually passed the class but I had to sacrifice a chicken to the emperor Genghis Khan to pass it.

BORING! But I learned there are 137 tiles on the ceiling in his classroom. Every time he would start talking, I would have to recount.

I commute, and every time I drove to campus, I would disregard the red lights in hopes that I would get T-boned by a semi-truck so that I wouldn't have to go back to this class

He's so paranoid about AI that it clouds his entire judgment. Instead of focusing on teaching, he spends more time playing detective and torturing students. Claims to be fair, but his grading and treatment of students say otherwise. Horrible teacher he thinks he's eating but he's flopping and taking everyone else down with him.

Taken Spring '25. This class feels like you are back in high school English. He treats students condescendingly, it really feels like he thinks he's teaching a bunch of 14yo kids. The only reason he doesn't get a 0 is because I'm not allowed to do that. Not sure why someone hasn't done something yet

Do not, under any circumstances, ever, EVER take a course taught by this man. Class is a serious health liability, meaning that it made me want to k** myself three times a week. He is incapable of leading a discussion without stroking his ego. Do not waste your time, there is nothing to be learned from Dean.

You almost have to feel sorry for him. I have to think what HAPPENED to him for him to act this way to his students. What is his damage? For him to berate students and lash out on them I wonder what happened to him that made him like this.

He'll email you to complete a late assignment for points but he locks the assignment and never responds.

He publicly humiliated and berated multiple students while I was in his class. Lacks professionalism, refuses to pull people aside he'd rather just lash out and talk over you. This class and this professor hurt me.

You will have no idea how you are doing in his class considering he mass grades during the last week of school. You could go from an A to a D, to a C to a B and you won't know until it's too late.

Do not take this class. Tough grader and sometimes forgot what his own assignments were. Not organized. For my final he told me that it was perfect that all I had to do was change up two things to make my project perfect. So someone please tell me why I fixed it and then when final grades came out I got a 70%. He will tank your grade/GPA.
