EASY A Teacher. Tests are easy, only 25 questions where you can "omit" 5. Essays are easy, he grades easy too. You won't learn much, but good for your gpa.

He is an excellent teacher you will love him. He is nice and the test aren't hard at all. Plus you watch a movie which sometimes will take the whole block. He is excellent, fair, friendly, and funny. You should take his class....!!!!!

Hooray for liberals! I think anyone who studies sociology HAS to be liberal. He really understands whats going on in the world. He is a very smart man and should be respected and listened to. It's up to you if you want to learn. He wont force it on you, he just presents it to you, you do the rest.

Easy A. I missed a lot of classes, missing about 3 tests in total-- but took the optional test + optional final exam(probably didn't have to take these had I not missed the 3 mandatory tests), did the easy extra cr. work (critiques) and somehow ended up with a B. His classes are pretty interesting because you watch videos half the time.. :-)

Amazing prof. Test are multiple choice-EASY! And the movies that take up an entire class were fascinating. Loves arguments-Be prepared to defend your opinion if you argue a point.

He likes to discuss things in class and he can be mean... But he is an easy A!! If you go to class, do his online stuff, and do any extra credit... you have an A. Gotta love that!

I only came to half the classes and had no trouble. He gives really good notes and his tests and quizzes are really easy. There was only one paper all semester. You watch a lot of video clips in his class. He is funny and has a cool southern accent which I found fun to listen to.

Prof. Ehle was great! I learned alot from taking his class. He made the class so interesting and fun! We rarely used the book except for some open book exams, and he gives you the opportunity to do extra credit to pick up your grade. Keep up with assignments and you will do great!!! Great teacher!! I had a lot of fun in class, and I loved how he used a combination of lecture, power point, videos, and in-class discussion to teach. I can't stand teachers who do nothing but read off of notes the entire time, and although we had a few classes like that, for the most part they were fun. I would highly recommend him!

EHLE EHLE EHLE. He's a cute old man. I never knew i'd love sociology. He has tons of handouts (which I think is a waste of paper), but mind you, all of them are very interesting. he's a very good professor. He might look serious but when he talks its just funny. i learned a lot too. my 2 years at nova, n the 1st time i really read the textbook

he's great! i loved going to his class! he's a funny guy. we watched documentaries on just about everything. COMMENT ON HIS BLOG! his exams are multiple choice and true/false (some are even open book) his class was a lot of fun (and i learned stuff too. HAHA)

He is simply the best. So helpful, very interactive...you can't ask for more in a professor take him and you won't regret it.

He is an easy grader. But feminists beware. I left his class a couple of times very upset about the comments he made about women who want a career and a family. Don't take his class if you can't stand sexism.

he's a great professor, i absolutely loved his class. most tests are openbook, or he tells you exactly what you need to know.. you'll be fine as long as you pay attention and show up.. i missed 3 classes and he dropped my grade to a B even though I had all A's and one C, but i still really enjoyed his class!

You're pretty safe taking this class for the required SOC credits. He is personable and it is an EXTREMELY easy A. But comments about the room smelling bad are TOTALLY true. Seriously, put one of those "little-tree" car fresheners around your neck before you go. This isn't a forced kind of curriculum; just go with an open mind and learn something.

The easiest class I have ever taken. I didn't study for a single test, because I didn't have to - they are based on common sense. He is a funny guy, and nice to students, I recommend him if you need to take SOC, but I will say, that you probably won't learn a thing.

All those comments about the room smelling funny are just rude; it smells fine. If you smell something it may just be you. His class was easy and he's very nice and all the stuff in class was so interesting! I loved it!

GREAAAAAT teacher! I didn't think I'd be interested in sociology at all before I took it but he makes it interesting! He cracks jokes and really cares if you're learning. Tests are NOT difficult if you just read the articles he hands out. TAKE HIS CLASS! He's awesome

Take this for an easy A. I enjoyed the movies we watched in class. There are a couple of (not hard, just study your notes and handouts) exams, blogging, one paper, and that's it. The final exam is voluntary if your grade is over a C. You won't learn much, but take him for SOC!

He is the best teacher i ever had. I always enjoyed his lectured. Always fun. Final exam is optional. It was my fault for getting a B instead of an A since i didn't do the extra credit and was tardy. Tests are easy just memorize the vocabs from the chapters and its an easy A. When he makes you write down notes its not neeeded. The book is easier.

One of the best teachers i've ever had, he's really fun, and makes everything interesting! good debate class, speak up he likes people who have interest in the subjects we discuss in class! his test are kinda tough, but just keep up w/ the notes! A+++++ TEACHER!!!

Professor Ehle is really funny. He comes off as a tough guy, but hes really easy going, and he's someone you'd like to have a beer with. He likes participation, and he lays everything out so you are completely prepared for his tests. Minimal effort= VERY easy A.

Professor Ehle is a funny professor. His tests are straight forward. Do the paper, blogging and show up for class, and you should receive a high grade. If you don't learn anything in this class it is your own fault! I wouldn't say this class is an easy A alot - I know alot of people in my class who didn't. Final - optional!

He is very funny. There is a massive extra credit project which severely boosts your grade. Two projects, but they are fairly easy and almost no homework. You will watch a lot of videos in class. Maybe 2/5 of the time. You must have access to the computer for this class. Blogging online is a major part of your grade. He's a liberal though.

Professor Ehle has been teaching for many years, yet you don't get old info... he is an excellent choice if you don't mind doing the assigned work. If he taught in the higher levels, I would definitely choose his classes. Best wishes.

In the beginning, I felt that I was lost and I did not know what to do, but eventually I made it. Great professor great subject. Attend, critique some topics on bb, take the quizzes and you will be fine. I got B without the final.

So easy. I almost never went, and I never wrote the paper we were assigned... I thought I was gonna get an F but I got a B. Although I barely went, the class actually was interesting. We watched a documentary for like half of the semester. Take his class! I liked him a lot.

Got an easy A=EASIEST professor ever! ALL of his tests are EASY (comes straight off his notes and textbook);final is optional depending if you want to bring up your grade which he will tell you. When it's movie time, SLEEP! it feels so good especially when the room is like a theater. LOL! Overall, PLEASE TAKE HIM!

Really eassy but make sure you pay attention to the random lectures because those are the most interesting. Homework is easy aswell as the exams and also gives extra points on exams for being early. Great professor

Try to get A's and B's on tests. Do the critiques, research paper (not hard at all), and extra credit (again not hard at all) and you will definitely end up with an A. He drops some low grades!

All you really have to do is listen in class, do the work and you're set. He doesnt ask for too much and you actually learn something. Do the critiques, paper, study for the tests and you're fine! Has sense of humor and hes well relaxed and fair grader!

Professor Ehle has a great class. His class is easy. His test can be a bit tricky, but just study and you should be fine. Getting a B or an A should be no problem. He gives extra credit, and drops the lowest grade. Make sure you due the critiques and the paper.

One of the greatest teacher at nova. He is lenient and helpful unlike other psychology teachers. His class is very easy and gives many easy tests. Tests are 30 ? Omit 10 ?. Very lenient teacher and easy to get along. Highly recommend him for an greater GPA!!! Very happy to be in his class because he is great towards students.

Prof. Ehle is a good guy and an awesome professor. He's very lenient and will help you do well. The course consists of writing your opinion of a current issue (of your choosing) once every 2 weeks, studying for the quizzes (6 of them, and a bonus & final that replace your lowest score that are optional), and a 4-page paper. Take him if you can!!

Professor Ehle is one of those 'once' brilliant people that didn't 'lose it' per se but rather left it behind for a couple of drinks and a good time (You'll only get it if you take him)... He is brilliant and clear on what you need to do. He is sarcastic an dhis his sense of humor is solely based on a been-there-done-that basis. Take him and study.

Simply the best!!! If you need a social science credit do not hesitate do take Professor Ehle he is very nice and has been teaching at nova for so long. Easy A!!! Make sure you do the extra credits it will help a lot at the end of the course. Oh and final is optional he tells you your overall grade and its up to you if you want to take it.

A great professor who has been teaching for more than 47 years at NOVA! I recommend him to anyone who wants a laid back teacher who allows class to be fun and relaxing but also a great learning experience.

Professor Ehle is just great! I really enjoyed taking his class. I must say that his tests are a little confusing, however, he gives you study guides and makes it easier. Do your study guides first, if you don't find the answer, ASK! He will tell you! He doesn't like people talking in his class or checking cellphones. He will call you out.

I came like 3 times to class the entire semester xtremely stoned and i got a B. Literally best teacher ever. Grading criteria is very confusing and he doesnt give back tests but totally does what he can to help you pass if you show effort

Awesome teacher! Very blunt, not scared of open discussions about anything and everything. Videos almost every class, slept through about all of them. Just do your work - easy A take him!

Mr. Ehle is such a fun, hilarious and caring teacher. I loved showing up to his class. He really enjoys when people refute his argument and it's a great way for him to learn your name (although he hilariously messes up). He's super sweet and gives a few tests with an optional test to raise your grade. Only 8 assignments total with a short paper.

I took this class during the Summer. He is a great teacher. very calm and understanding. he will help you outside of class if you don't understand the subject.

Dr. Elhe was very sarcastic and his class was THE EASIEST. It seemed like a lot of work at first but all of it was super easy and requires very little effort. His quizzes were heavy but very easy. No final required. blackboard was used very often.

You get easy quizzes check. Easy and very informative homework check (discussion boards). Choose 1 out of literally hundreds of articles to read. Talks about politics. 1 project on 7-up which is quite an interesting project. Has one optional test. Drops the lowest test. Will roast late- people sometimes which is quite entertaining.

If you take Prof. Ehle's class once a week, you will have an exam every week. He does not lecture but will post the entire exam on BB. Only have to answer 20 out of 30 question on exam for 100%. One 4-page critique paper due at the end of the semester along with 5-6 Discussion Board critiques. Would recommend but you have to teach yourself.

This class was very easy. Very clear on what you need to know. However I didnt find his humor or sarcasm particularly charming and found his lectures to be a bit dry. He doesnt speak very loudly so if you have trouble hearing you might want to sit up front.
