he's an hard teacher, and he'll make sure you know A&P when you finish the course. Ddnt like his personality at first, but if he knows you are doing your best to keep up, will also treat you as a friend. Great professor

He is a hard teacher, but if you need help he will help you. His wife is going through nursing school, so he emphasizes what you need to learn and how hard nursing school is. You can tell he really loves the subject.

Fardal knows his A&P, he teaches well he just expects you to learn what he teaches. He really wants you to LEARN the material !!!

One of the better instructors at this junior college. No surprises, just show up for class, be sure you know the material that he presented and you'll be ready for his tests. His course served as a good basis for the second half of A&P. Decent, fair guy. Study hard and be rewarded.

Mr. Fardal is a GREAT teacher!! yeah his class might not be the easiest class to take but he is a biology teacher and he wants you succeed. He helps you prepare for nursing school. Any student that complains about this class is just to dumb to learn the material!

This professor is very hard. He is always talking about his wife who just completed nursing school at sac. He constantly reminds you that nursing school is exteremly hard and lets you know that you will have no life when you get there. The class itself isnt boring but he expects alot out of you. His is very into detail when it comes test time.

This class is really pretty hard, but mr. fardal does a really good job of being very clear and as long as you study and listen in class, he'll give you everything you need to know! Just do what he says and you will be fine...if you work hard he will work with you!

The instructor was very knowledgable and was willing to go over most of the material several times to make sure it was clear. His tests are difficult, but if you take notes and study, you should do well. He does show favoritism to female students and to the individulas with higher grades. The stories of his wife were mind-numbing, but bearable.

Hello people! This is A&P I!!! You have to take this course only if you are willing to give it a 100%. Try hard and do your best and you will love him! Serious students only are encouraged to take him, seriously!

Great professor who knows what he is talking about. His class is fairly hard and be expected to spend a good amount of time studying. But to counter that he is very clear and lectures very well; usually always able to answer any question you may have about the subject even if obscure. Also tells many entertaining stories to break the monotony. Bald

So you want to take A&P 2. You'd better have taken him for A&P 1, or you're about to find out just how much harder (and better) he is than the other A&P teachers he is. If you can't put in significant study time, don't waste your time. You won't get a good enough grade to get into nursing school unless you take this really seriously.

Fardel cares what his students are going to have to know for the nursing program. Be aware his class is geared specifically for it. He tries to explain what you need to know, but be prepared to study beyond what he teaches. Not an easy class but it is a challenge if thats what your looking for. Nice guy, does show favoratism to his A students.

BEST prof at SAC. He is one of the hardest.. But makes up for it by being an excellent teacher! Perfect For Nursing/premed/EMT students. You must be able to Apply what you learn... not regurgitate answers...

Fardal is awesome. If you put forth the effort, he'll meet you halfway. He teaches really well, as long as you read and actually study the objectives he gives you. They aren't clear-cut study guides, they're guidelines that you should study around. If in doubt, ask him. You HAVE to be there. Missing class means you can miss an entire chapter.

Mr. Fardal is a good teacher. He explains subjects in depth, & answers any questions if you do not understand. He's easily distracted on certain subjects:his family and school admin, nursing prog. You must attend lectures and study in order to pass!! I got a B+ and worked my butt off to get it in A&PI. Most of our class is taking him for A&PII.

If you are ready to take your major seriously and willing to learn anything even if you don't need it... then take Mr. Fardal. He will teach you from biology to things that will help you in life. Don't take him if you want to sham. He's hard, but fair and you get the grade you earn. He apprears very dedicated to preparing his students for nursing school and as a RN myself, I think he does this pretty well. As in life, you get out of this class what you put in... just don't expect this professor to hand you anything.

Only take this course from this professor if you are self-motivated and able to study on your own. Take him seriously when he tells you to learn certain material and put the time in that is required to master it.

He is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. He really makes you work hard for you grade, but it is worth it. He cares about his students, even though he is tough. Excellent professor! Very hard, makes you study, but reviews for every test and is available to answer questions. Can't slack off in this class if you want to do well. Only take this class if you want to learn! I made it into nursing school and so far have benefited from everything he taught.

Mr. Fardal is the greatest professor ever!!! He is hard but if you pay attention and read your chapters you will have no problems. He does an awesome job in explaining and demonstrating the material. He actually motivates you to succeed in his class. You really must be ready to speand most of your time studying you really in his class!!!

Don't take this course unless you are prepared to study. I received an A, but worked my ass off for it. Had to outline every word, in every assigned chapter to get an A. Its not impossible, but beware that you may have to sacrifice some of your social life for time with the text book. Outlining the chapters seems to be the only way to learn it.

Professor Fardel is not for the faint of heart. Only take his class if you are serious about studying...for many hours...every day. He is big on authority and is ex military. Only take him if you like to be challenged, you will be. You will also learn your material thouroughly.

If u r trying to just get a letter grade, go elsewhere and let those interested in really learning take his class. His class will challenge you to put all the info in long term memory. He covers it all and u must really learn this stuff. He is firm, but education is his goal. He is by far the best teacher I have ever had. Take his class if u can.

Mr. Fardal is a great teacher, but you need to be prepared to spend HOURS studying. I spent 21+ hours on this course, outside of the classroom! It's intense.

A&P I, Summer2007. If you are going into nursing, this is a great class that help prepare you for Nursing School. Dr Fardal knows his stuff and is challengeing. As a nurse I need a A-P refresher for PA School. Best thing I ever did. It is crucial to know how things work before you can recognize if something is wrong with your patients.

Mr. Fardal is demanding and fair. His goal is to produce knowledgeable nurses, and he does. Of course you have to study on your own! You are in College! He is available to help ANYBODY that SEEKS his help! Not possible to pass this class, if you study the night before exam. Manage your time, love the subject,work hard and you will be fine.

Awesome prof. Took him for 2401 as well, and I have this subject down. The fetal pig is a huge part of this class. He gives you a list, you find stuff on it, and he asks you questions. Still hard, still have to be in class, still have to study your ass off. Most of the 2402 aren't students who goof off. You WILL learn this.

Mr.Fardal is an awsome teacher! I also took him for 2401 and received a well earned A in both. Only serious students should take this class. You have to put this material into longterm memory. You better brush up on 2401. He teaches you exatly what you need to know for Nursing. Don't miss class. I would love to take another class with him.

Excellent instructor! Who cares if he talks about his family, he is happy and very proud of them. I learn a lot. It does help 100% for nursing. After taking nursing classes, I can say, his class is easy. If u want to learn, take him. If u feel bad bc u had a C or lower, it is ur fault. Dont take it personal if he gets upset. It means he cares. :)

Professor Fardal is an excellent professor. I will admit he is very hard but biology is a tough subject no matter who teaches you the subject. You need to show up for class, take good notes, and put alot of time to pass his class!

Excellent Professor! This class is very challenging so if you're not ready to do the work and spend most of your free time studying, do not take this class! For the serious student only!The up side is that you will learn the material and you will be on your way to being an excellent nurse.

Make sure to listen carefully to his lectures, he makes mistakes alot. Always willing to help out.Talks about family and friends alot,however, it puts it into real world perspective.Will tell class on a daily basis that they will not make it in Nursing school. Takled about his wife a lot but I really got a lot of information out of him. He was able to teach in such a way that turned on my "lightbulb". I am paramedic and he mentioned being a nurse quite a bit, however all the info was usefull for my field. I took him for A&P1 and 2! He expects you to study.

He spent the first two weeks of class telling the class how lazy they were, and making them think they were going to fail-that started me on a very negative note so I dropped. No wonder he has an astronomical drop rate. He knows his stuff, though.

Be PREPARED to devote your LIFE for the whole semester to this class.I spend a good 4 hours each night and even more on the weekends for just this one class. When I was making all A's he was very nice to me, but the minute I slipped below an A (88), he gave me a cold shoulder.

He is a GREAT prof. He knows exactly what he is talking about and yes he does talk about his family alot but they are in the medical field. He knows what it takes to be a doctor or nurse. Trust me if your not ready to learn and devote your time to studying then don't even bother! I've take A&P before and other prof just make you memorize stuff.

Sometimes you have those professors that grade easily and don't care if you learn, Well Mr. Fardal is tough, but I have learned so much in his class. If your going into nursing I would take him. Your going to learn so much in a short amount of time, BUT it will make you a great nurse one day. Hate him now but you will love and thank him later.

I had him for 2401 and he was great. Then in 2401 he seemed to forget more things and would think he lectured on something that he didn't. Nothing is planned and he would schedule tests whenever he wanted, no outline or syllabus so it's hard to plan out your studying. Don't fall behind and read, read, read, read. He expects you to be prepared!

Mr. Fardal is one of the best anatomy teachers here at SAC. I felt that he explained everything, he stresses on major topics that will be on TESTS he reviews before a tests and gives you topics to study from the test. He has an online syllabus that you have to print out, and also has outlines that you can use for your tests.I really recommend him.

I read all of these negative comments "after" I had already registered this semester. I started class very nervous/apprehensive. I took detailed notes, read a lot, and followed his objectives and topics before tests. I just finished with an A+ average. Aspiring to be a NP, I couldn't have asked for a better professor to give me a solid A&P base!!!!

Prof Fardal is the best! I highly recommend him! This class IS for the serious student only, he does expect you to do the work, but is ALWAYS willing to help. He really cares about his students and wants us to be prepared for nursing school. He will not make it easy for you, but that's the point, he wants you to actually learn the material!

I took Fardal this past semester, and i never thought i would learn so much. He truly loves what he teaches. Always very helpful when i was a bit lost. I looked forward to coming to his class everyday. This is not an easy course, he challenges all of his students to retain all knowledge given to us. Great for all nursing majors. Just Keep up & READ

Prof. Fardal is an awesome teacher. He really enjoys teaching and makes the class enjoyable. He is not easy. You must study ALOT and be prepared for his lectures. He is not high-tech. No Powerpoint presentation, expect transparencies. Worth all of the effort to get an A.

If you truly want to be a nurse than take his class,you will know all you need and more for the foundation of nursing school.His class is not easy.If you plan never to study then you might want to re-think taking this class and your career.But fardal will tell you that first hand.Overall you will learn more than you ever expected i know i did.

Hard but will learn all you need to know for nursing. You do have to work for your grade. Does talk about his wife but it always is relevent to what he is teaching. Don't sign up if you are not willing to work hard. He is also always willing to help if needed.

Rest assured he goes above and beyond in preparing you for your career in the medical field. He was great! I wasn't going to take him because of these rating but I am glad I did!!! He prepared me for AP2 well!!! Take him if you plan on going to med field. Only homework is to STUDY!!!

'Brother' Fardal is an awesome teacher. Ya sometimes he might be a little negative. If he isn't always nice to u cuz youre not making an A its cuz he knows u CAN. Study,take notes,READ!!! I love this man cuz I will know what Im doing when Im helping ppl. Only bad thing is I got tired of hearing about the nursing prgrm since Im a Speech Path major.

He is an amazing teacher. Yes he's hard, but if you just study off his objective list it's really not that bad. If you just want to get an A and not be expected to learn anything don't take him. He will push you to be learn and the ones who don't drop his class end up really learning. I would take him in a heart beat if he was teaching a&p 2.

Mr Fardal is an A+ instructor. He kept my interest the entire time. If you only want to satisfy core reqs, don't bother. Be prepared to work HARD!! If you really want to learn A&P, Mr Fardal is the man. He will definitely prepare you for any biology course you decide to take in the future. For the serious and diligent students only.
