Brother Fisher is a pretty cool guy. His class is hard and a lot of work. He is a good teacher and knows what he's talking about. He always starts the class with a spiritual thought. He is very kind and so inspiring. He doesn't just want us to excel in the his class, he wants us to excel in life. Although he doesn't have the best test review days.

This man helps out so much! He loves each student and cares for each of us and our learning. He wants us to understand, is always looking for feedback. The class is a tough class, but he made it easier.

Brother Fisher was eager to help in class and individually outside of class. He even would announce if he heard of job possibilities and internships that would help a student trying to go into the health field. He explained things really well. Every so often he'd say funny awkward things but those comments were usually pretty funny.

Ive heard a lot about the teachers for BIO264 and I felt lucky to get Fisher. Seriously, awesome guy. He is young and friendly, he is very genuine and spiritual. He's funny and makes you feel at ease. One of the best teachers I have had, which was needed because this is a very hard class. Study every day to pass. Homework is competition but needed.

Brother Fisher is incredible. He takes one of the hardest classes (anatomy)and does everything he can to make it easy for us to succeed. He genuinely cares about each of his students. He drills the most important oncepts over and over again. He also teaches the haredest part of each chapter first. That's frustrating at first, but really helps.

Honestly, I loved this class, but the homework was something else. There was so much of it! I liked attending the class though. He was very caring and inspirational. He always starts with a spiritual thought. I love the way he explains things, and teaches the class. I just wish there was less homework. A LOT of reading and LOTS of papers.

Talk about a teacher who cares. This man seriously is inspired with every lesson he gives. He's open to feedback and typically asks questions of what he can improve. The busy work is immense but very doable. Honestly, it's an easy A if you skim over the material and go for it. All in all he's very understanding and charismatic.

Everything I dreamed about a Science Foundations course. Brother Fisher will make you laugh and cry within the same class period. Tests gradually get more difficult as the trimester goes on, and you MUST do the enrichment activities to pass. Attendance is mandatory. Spiritual thoughts tend to be long, so he could shorten them. The homework assignments were a little long sometimes, and the enrichment papers are a pain to do. One of the best professors in the Biology department! He made learning anatomy more simple and helped us learn things ahead of time so by the time we were tested over it, we all knew it very well. The material is tough, tests are hard, but that's just 264 in general. You have to put in the effort in this class no matter who you take it from.

I took this class via zoom & it was so much better than I anticipated! It covers topics that are applicable to everyone, regardless of your major. There's about 4 simple assignments each week & 2 tests that aren't too bad if you fill out the study guide. Bro. Fisher is an amazing professor and I learned so much in his class. 100% recommend.

He does move fast in class but dont worry, hes accessible out side of class and has helped organized study groups and tutoring. Spend a lot of time to do well in class, It's a hard class. But trust Bro. Fisher, he will help you pass the class with flying colors

I love Bro Fisher as a professor! His genuine care for his students IS HIS TOP PRIORITY and has always done the best he can to help encourage his students that "We can do hard things!" His lectures are based on material that are on the Exams and doesn't teach us extra information that we don't need to know! He's got it figured out as a professor!!!

Brother Fisher is a great teacher! Some may not like the longer spiritual thoughts but in all reality you shouldn't be going to class expecting to learn everything. He utilizes class time well almost every time and does a great job at helping us understand the important stuff. He emphasizes for us to always get deeper understanding of the material.

Brother Fisher is an amazing teacher. He spends time at the beginning of class to tie in a spiritual thought to the lessons that will be held that day. He really cares about his students and wants to get to know his students. He loves conversation within the class. The only complaint I had is he sometimes goes over class time.

Amazing professor. He truly loves his students and gives you every resource possible to succeed. BIO 264 is a really difficult class so if you have to take it, take it wish Fisher. He makes lecture fun and I was never bored listening to him teach. Just be ready to buckle down and STUDY if you want an A.

May be the best professor I have ever had (including PSU, U of Wash, and BYU-I). Lectures were completely fascinating. Obvious that he cares about the students, personally and academically. Every assignment is tailored to help students learn the material. Partnered with Joseph Anderson, making twice the learning resources available for students.

Difficult class, but Fisher got me through it. DO THE PREP. Lectures are not in-depth, and often led by student questions. Watch the videos, go to the lectures, go to study group, and do the extra credit. Brother Fisher really wants you to succeed and will do everything in his power to help you make it happen. Spiritual thoughts are his highlight.

I learned a lot from this teacher. I did the course during the summer so it was twice the pace, but the teacher was really helpful. He provided amazing study material and was open to answering all questions that came his way. He always answered my emails within twenty four hours, and communicated exactly what the expectations were.

It was a good class, and a good professor. He was very heavy on class participation though, so plan on having to talk to your peers like 3-4 times a class, as well a class discussion/debate every Friday. Overall pretty decent.

He is the best professor I have ever had! He starts each class with a spiritual thought, and he does not set a time limit to for that because he puts what is important first. Each spiritual thought is tied to the lesson and is applies throughout. It is clear that brother fisher loves his students. I would definitely recommend taking this class

Brother Fisher is great. Personally, I didn't love this specific course, BUT I would totally take a different class of his. He is very kind and understanding. His tests are not hard if you just go to class. The homework load is not terrible, but sometimes it can feel overwhelming.

Brother Fisher is one of my favorite professors ever. He is an amazing teacher, and genuinely cares about you doing well in the class. He offers soooo much extra credit, and he actually explains the concepts well.

Brother Fisher is an awesome professor! I have seen some ratings on here that say that people struggled with him, and I guess it depends on your learning style. He is very accessible outside of class and is very knowledgeable. His style is an acquired taste, but it is just what I needed to succeed in this difficult class of Bio264.

This class is hard, he explains things very well. Ask questions and do your teaching sheets and you'll do well. I transferred from another school and 264 was very diff. there, and he helped me SO much to catch up on concepts that would help me understand stuff we were learning. Extra credit bumped me up 3% and I did well on the tests- bc I studied.

Bro Fisher is great!! This class is tough no matter who you take it from, but he made it really enjoyable and really knew what he was talking about. He took notes with us so we knew the most important things to write down. Highly recommend.

This was a really hard class for me, although Brother Fisher made it as easy as he possibly could. I went through a lot this semester, but he would meet me where I was and lift me to my greatest potential. He always related what we were learning to the gospel. He clearly cared about his students and their success. 100/10 would recommend.

You have to do teaching sheets in order to access the exams, which can be tedious if you know the unit content well, but they're great if you don't. One of the best teachers for A&P.
