John's lectures are amazing !! I took his Abnormal Psychology class and the topics would make some of us emotional because they hit home. He's very kind and I wish i could take another one of his classes before i graduate. He only grades based on 3 exams (theres 4 exams but he drops the lowest one). They're kind of hard :/ but just study a lot !!

He's a good professor. Only graded by four tests, all multiple choice. No homework, nothing else. The lowest test grade is dropped, and the final is not cumulative. Slides are posted online, but I recommend going to class because he expands on the slides a lot, and shows videos that may be included on the tests. Good professor and good lecturer.

The best way to take notes in this class is on a word document with two columns; one for powerpoint slides (posted prior to lecture) and the other for in-class notes on the verbal lecture. You will need to know both types of info for exams. Try to pay attention. If ED stuff triggers you, skip that class as the lecture images are graphic.

You're graded for 3 out of 4 exams, where one is dropped from the first 3. There is only 3 pt. videos to boost your grade. So if you aren't a good test taker, do NOT take this class. He doesn't hand out any study guides, so he basically says to memorize about 150 SLIDES of heavy notes. And he talks for the entire time straight, so hard to focus.
