Frasure makes history very interesting, and his teaching methods make the learning material very easy to remember. His tests are all open book, open note, and you can talk to other students. Frasure also has a great sense of humor.

Frasure is the EST teacher ive EVER had. everyone should take this class. its hard not to PASS it.

Frasure has his game together! He knows what he is doing and what he is talking about. Quizzes are cake(open notes) and the content of class is very interesting. I recommend everyone take this or one of his other history classes. You should come out with it w/ nothing less than an A or B if you do your work!

This class was awsome I thought it was going to be hard and not learn anything i learned alot and he made it fun!!

I enjoyed this class and fraser made it very interesting!

I had doubts about the class, but it was TOTALY fun, kept things going, quizes were not boring, and do go the extra mile and do the honors thing, you will enjoy your self!

Frasure is the most down to earth teacher i have ever met. He is a happy, honest, and full of energy. I found his classes very interesting and some things i learned were apalling, but nevertheless, he made it all interesting and he has my vote as #1 teacher in the whole college. I would take him for a class even if i didn't need it. He is the best

Frasure is an awesome teacher and creates his own material to teach from. Every student should take him at least once. He is very blunt with the truth of history and very entertaining. I've never laughed so hard in any class.

John Frasure is the BEST history professor I've had so far in my lifetime. He teaches the good, the bad, and the ugly about the past history of the US, and the world. I consider myself lucky to be enrolled in his course, and look forward to each class session.

This man is amazing, he's very blunt detailed and all his information is usefull i love his class and can't wait for next semester with him!

I used to only be interested in Ancient history but after taking 2 out of 4 of JF classes, I am now majoring in history. He knows his stuff, and is very compassionate about what he teaches and that is how you get great teachers. When they love what they teach! On a side note very funny:) its like learning history from a stand up comedian :)

Very easy. He lectures for the whole class, then you answer one quiz question every night. He knows what he's talking about, and is a very smart man. You will learn more about America in this one class than you ever did in your life.

Frasure knows his stuff! I wasn't that interested in history but needed the class and I don't regret it. He teaches you stuff you've never heard before.

Frasure does know his history, however he mostly talks about current politics and the future of our country. He is VERY bitter towards current government and the class is extremely depressing as he mostly talks about our "destroyed country" and that we have no hope for the future. When he is on topic he is great, but that isnt often. Use caution.

I absolutely hated history all my life until I took his class. Not only is he knowledgeable about History, he is extremely passionate about it. You get the feeling he really loves what he does and would not enjoy doing anything else in the world. He has a wonderful sense of humor. He is very easy--but you walk away learning soooo much!

Frasure is an example of what all teacher need to be. He has the passion for teaching and it comes across to every student. I noticed kids that weren't really paying attention in the beginning of the semester, within 2 weeks they were glued to his every word. If you think history is boring you won't after taking his class. He is awesome!!!!

You better catch him while you can... he may retire within the next couple of years. Imagine what it would be like to meet with the Dalia Lama or Jesus Christ... your experience and what you take away from Frasure's class can only be measured with "Total Enlightenment"! The "Enlightenment" comment, is the best way to categorize this. Fraisure's passion sparks something inside you, too hard to not to leave with a motivation to change the world. Wish I could have known about him sooner, would have overdosed on his courses. Take him, NO WAY to be let down. took his Vietnam course,now planning a take down.

Best professor I have come across. If you want the truth about our history he is the man to take. He is and educator and not a teacher. Taking his class changed my view on life and triggered a passion I was not aware of. You truly learn in his class.

EXCELLENT PROFESSOR! He is funny, informative, he really knows what he is talking about! I enjoy his class everyday! Loved it! His tests are extremely hard, but they are open everything- it is basically a class effort, and he even helps you. I really liked how he made his exams a learning experience as well!

He is so passionate but expects contribution and interaction from the class. he has completely researched everythin heteches and does not take a text book as historical fact. His passion for veterans is admirable and contagious. He is one of the best men I have ever met.

Hes got a lot of energy and you can tell hes really passionate about the subject he teaches. I had him for Vietnam History. I thought the subject was boring but another classmate had suggested him because Mr. Frasure's class was interesting and the tests and homework were not demanding.

Now enrolled in my 2nd class w/Mr Frasure - LOVE him! His lectures are informative, on topic - history from a honest perspective! I will most definitely take every class he teaches. Without a doubt the best professor I have ever had .

Mr. Frasure was a pleasure to have as a teacher. He was very fair and I loved his teaching style.

He does a great job teaching, makes it fun, interesting, and laughable. The only thing I disliked is ten minutes until the end of class, you knew it was getting close because he'd kick it into overdrive and finish the day's material very quickly. And we generally stayed late. Other than that, it was awesome class!!

One of the best teachers I've ever had. He's enthusiastic about the subjects, and he doesn't expect you to memorize everything. All tests and quizzes are done at home and in class with the help of notes and other students. No textbook required. You will always learn something new in his class. I strongly recommend!

This class was by far one of the most enjoyable classes I have ever taken. I liked his teaching style. And he really encourages you to think for yourself, be a better person, and makes you want to change the world. There aren't many teachers out there that you would consider inspiring. But Mr Frasure is definitely inspiring.

Prior to taking his classes I did not really care for history. History, in high school was very boring for me. If you want to learn a subject that is usually not fun for a lot of people in a fun, enjoyable, and stimulating environment, then you must take all of his HIS classes. So glad to have met this wonderful teacher!

He is by far the best history teacher in the world. His class was worth every penny because it was like watching stand up. The way that he thought made you not even have to read because everything got stuck in your mind. Every professor needs to be more like him. Just like they say every college and university needs and deserves one frasure.

Frasure knows what's up. He's done his own research, and knows just about everything there is to know in the field of US History. If you're confused about any part of his class, he'll probably have an answer - and a story - to help you figure it out.

He is a great teacher he tell you both sides of history and not just one side of history that claims to be the positive sides, because wherever there is a positive there is also a negative.

I had him for honors history. If you get the chance PLEASE take his class before he retires!!! I never had an interest for history, but his lectures are amazing and he's simply hilarious. The tests are all done in groups. Hardly any assignments throughout the semester. Best history class I have EVER had.

Mr. Frasure is very opinionated and his lectures are worth paying attention to. He knows what he's talking about. His quizzes, midterms, finals are just take home papers until the day it's due. There are 2 essay papers you would have to write but they're simple either interview Veterans or write an Issue Paper. See? Simple! He's a great professor!

Professor Frasure was amazing! He is very intelligent and an overall kind man. His lectures are very insightful and it is fun listening to him speak. Not much homework, a few quizzes here and there, and two large papers and two tests. Very easy class that I would definitely recommend!

He "rants" about current politics and also the material the class includes. He is extremely helpful and there if you need him. It's basically impossible to fail his class unless you just don't do any of the work. There is all of 20 quizzes, 2 papers, a midterm, and a final. All of which you do at home. He is super easy on the papers too.

Favorite class professor is very helpful and a great person! highly recommend taking this class!!

He is very knowledgeable, funny, and makes history interesting. Assignments are very simple, and tests are a breeze. I took him for honors, and we only had to create a PowerPoint Take his class!

Mr. Frasure is an interesting history professor. He occasionally goes off topic but he's passionate about history and it shows in his teaching and he tells it like it is! The honors class has two 4 page papers and a 50 power point slide. The quizzes, midterm, and final is take home. He's retiring after this upcoming semester so don't miss out!

Frasure is easily the greatest History teacher I've ever had. He's very passionate about history. No textbooks, he creates his own packets over every president and their administration. You'll definitely learn plenty. His research includes information most of us probably wouldn't have ever known. He's a real gem. His political commentary is GOLD.

Beautiful human being has lots of wonderful knowledge and is willing to share all of it. Lots of history humor that can actually make you laugh and enjoy lectures. I can honestly say that I actually wanted to learn history. As he would say "If we just took the time to learn our history, we would not be making the mistakes that our past has made."

One of the best instructors I have ever had the privilege to work with. He gives great in depth emotion and passion for what he teaches. He tells both sides and is honest with every point in his lectures. I definitely developed as a person by taking this class and wish there were more instructors who truly took pride in their work the way he does.

He also makes it a point to teach minorities and women about their history in America, because most textbooks and teachers leave them out. Easy A, does not do attendance. Short quizzes (shouldn't take more than 10 mins to do) Midterm and Final are done in group work in class. Extra credit is possible.

One of my favorite teachers in college! Always made the lectures interesting and tied certain events in the past to current day events. You usually have to do a reading packet to find certain vocab and that would count for a quiz. Final is done as a class.
