Professor Gannon is a fantastic instructor that is always willing to listen and work with his students. He reinforces the course concepts through reading, weekly quizzes, team assignments, and multiple writing projects. His class is genuinely fun, and I would highly recommend it to anyone taking Public Administration.

The professor is amazing, he is always available and willing to help. The course does require self-management of workload however with hard work and time management you can pass this class. I would highly suggest you take this class with Professor Gannon.

You don't have to read the chapters in their entirety, as long as you grasp the concepts you will do good. There is a lot of information to take in but the way Gannon spreads it out and instructs the coursework comes second to none. Mr. Gannon is what you would call a "Real Teacher". He is a tough grader, but he is also willing to give you feedback so that you can have the chance to get a better grade next time. This is one of the best online classes I have taken. All the assignments are well organized and Mr. Gannon provides all the information for each assignment you will need to succeed in his course. PA380 is a hard class, but if you read the material and have discipline and commitment to pursue a good grade, you can achieve it. I took the online course, it was very difficult but everything was creamy stated at the beginning of the curse. You will need your book. You have to participate in discussion boards. He does however give plenty of extra credit and is always available and gives detailed feedback and responds quickly.

Intro to public administration is solid upper divisions course. It was online which is dope but it was basically reading the book and taking quizzes. So if you can work with that then take it. Its an intro to Public administration course but an upperdivision course. It is cut into 10 modules. This class was very beneficial and taught me a lot of useful information even though I am a psych major. The four deliverables aren't too difficult. There is some group work but he grades it fairly and he knows who participates and who doesn't. This professor is by far if not one of the best professors i have taken in all of my online course history. He is very clear on what he wants out of the assignments, very clear on instructions and very accessible. The quizzes are not hard, and that is because he provides a practice quiz which makes you become familiar and prepare for your quiz.

He is crystal clear about how rigorous the course it. Daily quizzes are based off the reading, so the book is mandatory. His modules can be tricky to get a hold of at first, but by investing time into the class, there is no reason to not get an A. He is great at responding to emails and is overall a great professor. I took PA 380 as an elective this summer thinking it was going to be a breeze. I thought wrong!! Professor is good, although be ready to read very single week. Quizzes are due after every. Chapter. To do well on quizzes reading is a must! You will do great if you keep on task with the assignments and team work is done weekly. Overall good teacher.

As this is an online class, there is no lecture so he gives you weekly quizzes about the reading. You must read. There are also group assignments you must complete every week. I suggest get your portion of it done by Saturday & work with the group until the deadline. For us, our assignments were due every Tuesday night. All I can say is just READ!

Professor Gannon is a rare instructor that will make your course worthwhile. He does not give an easy grade therefore, you will learn. He does give feedback on each paper. Be prepared to be organized, allocate time each day for assignments, and to READ. I cannot stress the reading enough. Also to annotate because the weekly quizzes are tough.

Taking the course was like running a race. You reach this giant hill, but once you make it to the top of the hill, running down is fairly easy.
