Class very easy, don't buy the text. Take good notes b/c tests are generated from them. I had one 5 page paper to do, it was easy. Very nice, jokes a lot in class, can be boring at times, but overall I enjoyed his class.

Amazingly interesting professor/man. Tons of interesting anecdotes to correspond with the curriculum. Buying the textbook is unnecessary (I didn't crack it open once). Just show up, take notes, and study before exams. Great class!

Good professor, but I just couldn't do well in his class. Maybe I need to be his patient instead. I got a C and I really studied. I think I spent at least 45 minutes studying for the midterm and I only got a B. Maybe I needed an hour. Sigh.

i love dr. harris. hes one of the best professors ive had. his class is fun, hes very witty, and the tests are easy. doesnt write much on the board, so take good notes. i never opened my book though, and got As on all of the test.

i thought mr harris was an awesome teacher because he was really funny and he had unlimited stories from his years working with patients that made the class more enjoyable. he almost always let us out early and his tests were easy as long as u came to class.

Human development and abnormal psyc were made very easy because of him. All the tests are based solely on his lectures. Don't buy the book! There are papers in both classes but he tends to grade fairly easy.

awesome professor.. always has alot of stories to tell about experiences with patients, makes it really interesting. I have the friday 3 hour class and we're never there the full 3 hours. Tests are not hard at all if you just look over the notes you take in class. Don't bother buying the book

Best professor I've ever had. Made the material interesting, was surprisingly funny and the tests were not hard. Got a B without trying. Don't buy the book, I wasted $100 on it. Teaches straight from lectures. Gives opportunities for extra credit when possible. My favorite class that I've taken at Towson by far.

Dr. Harris is the best teacher I've had at Towson...he's part of the reason I am a Psychology major. This is the second class I've taken with him. He has great stories about his clients and the class itself is not particularly hard You don't really have to buy the book, just come to class and take notes on everything he says. Tests are MC and essay

Boring class. Sat for an hour and 15 minutes staring at the clock. He's a nice guy and gives extra credit, but is sooo boring. He tries to get you involved, but my class was kind of stubborn. He tells a lot of stories about his experiences as a psychologist which are interesting (strays off topic) but for the most part he's alright.

GREAT teacher! He is very clear when he explains things, and he won't move on until everyone gets it. His tests are fairly easy, but you should still study! He's very funny, I had him on a friday afternoon class, and he'll keep you entertained! He's an easy B!

This is my 3rd class with prof. Harris and he is by far my favorite prof. at Towson. All you need to do is show up (don't be late) and take notes, you don't even need the book. The best part is, on top of being easy you actually learn something. I've had him for intro, developmental, and abnormal psyc and he's awesome in every class.

dr harris is a good guy and wants you to learn the material. you dont have to buy the text book just go to the first class and give him your email and he emails you the notes for all his tests. tests r pretty easy and are from the notes...easy psych 101 teacher

good guy and easy teacher... lectures can drag on at times but a lot of the material is pretty interesting and applicable...don't buy the text book, he doesn't test out of it.... sends all the notes to you through e-mail, just study those for the test and you will be set with an easy A

LOVE this teacher, he is so easy, never used the book once and got A's on the tests. He emails his notes out and tests come strictly from those notes. hes amazing <3

Dr Harris is awesome - def dont have to show up for class, but his style is interesting - sometimes he kinda wanders of in his brain - but he is a trip. study guides given out, dont need the book @all. enjoy!

Dr. Harris is a very dedicated professor and goes the extra mile to help his students. I received an A in the course, however, I didn't think the tests were as easy as others have said. He includes a good bit of biology in his lectures and it would be beneficial to enroll in other courses that he teaches prior to taking this course. Good luck!

BEST TEACHER EVER!!! I took him for two semesters and was never bored in class. He uses examples to explain everything. You will learn so much without even realizing it. I found myself relating his class to my life in many ways. You should take him if possible!

Wonderful to say the least. He has monotone way about him so do not go to his class sleepy, but other than that he is great. He will help you with anything. He teaches what he test on. He is a great teacher i learned alot, he kept it interesting. It's an easy C but for B or A you must give it your full attention.

He is a great professor. Very knowledgeable about the subject and very helpful. Tells jokes that no one really understands but he tries to make class fun. Tests are easy and come from the study guide. No textbook needed and attendance not mandatory but the study guide makes more sense if your in class as he goes over it.

He's a very nice guy with a really cheesy sense of humor. The entire class is him sitting in front of the class talking quietly, so it's hard to pay attention at times. While he does give a study guide, I would still recommend taking notes to help stay focused in class. 4 easy-ish MC tests and an optional extra credit paper. I'd recommend him.

Dr. Harris is the best professor that I have had all of college. He is clear, interesting, can answer almost any question you have with a story from personal experience, and will make you want to come to class. Attendance is not technically mandatory but you should go to build a connection with him, and learn somethings, it will be worth it.

Professor Harris is absolutely amazing. I had him by chance when I was placed into his Psychology 101. I then chose him for Psych 203 and next semester I will have him for Psyc 361. His lectures are really interesting and he tells many personal stories. His tests are fair, and the study guide he provides is very useful. He's the best!

Hello, I will definitely recommend this professor. He is the reason why I went into psychology and criminal justice. He is amazing. His exams are based on lectures, he makes it extremely interesting and easy to learn on the examples from his practice. He is funny and just purely in love with teaching and psychology. Take him! His class is cake. He gives you the notes the first day of class and it is seriously all that you need. Don't go to class it is a waste of time. Half of the time all we do is watch movies anyway. Once I didn't go to class for two weeks straight. It makes no difference. Take him!

Just took for psyc 203 and he is by far the best professor I have ever had. He gives you a study guide the first week of class and all his exams are based off of it. There is no final(cumulative). He only has 4 very easy exams. He sits and lectures, but they are very interesting and funny at times. He knows how to really teach a class well. Easy A.

Everyone else hit the nail on the head here. Harris was amazing, you dont need to read the textbook at all. He gives you a study guide at the beginning that has everything you need to know. 3 very easy tests that he tells you whats on it and a optional 4th test to replace your lowest score. I spent 2 hours studying for each test and got all A's.

He's a really sweet and caring man. He was one of the only professors that I really felt sad leaving. He's always willing to talk to you more if you need help, and he's not difficult at all.

Very sweet. tends to go off topic and makes a lot of jokes. Most of the material is on the study guide. Shows movies in class and has been known to pass out cough drops in the winter. Never made any effort to remember anybody's name. Most of the males became "Guy." But he really is very knowledgeable. Good if you are planning on working with kids.

Honestly, as you can see by the comments below, Dr harris is an absolutely wonderful teacher. Students in my class weren't very enthusiastic but he still talks about how much he loves teaching all of us. such a wonderful guy. would most definitely recommend his classes to a friend.

Very funny, always happy, obvious he loves what he does! Grading consists of 3 exam grades with an optional final to replace one test grade. Pay attention in class and attend the review days (he goes over EVERYTHING youll need to study for each test) He also gives a handout of the notes already typed! Definitely recommend taking any class with him!

Dr. Harris is the best professor that I have had in my college career. He gives you a study guide for the entire semester on the first day. Attendance is mandatory, he takes attendance on random days. He is very passionate about the topics covered in class. He makes it easy to understand. Take him!

Harris is very dedicated to his students and you can tell how much he enjoys his job. 4 tests, 50 multiple choice each. Very easy tests that require minimal studying because he constantly reiterates the information so that you learn it.

Dr. Harris is one of the best professors at Towson. He has a quirky sense of humor which is entertaining. This class is very insightful and the trick to acing it is to thoroughly read the study guide he hands out at the beginning of the semester, which is just 4 pages divided for 4 tests. No separate final and easy extra credit. Highly Recommend!!

Dr. Harris is awesome! He is so funny and makes lectures interesting by relating the topics to stories from when he used to be a counselor. He gives you his notes to study from (in outline form). Very easy class compared to my other classes. He has a hearing problem so you have to speak loudly for him to hear you. Overall easy class with a clear cut study guide and the lectures follow the guide he gives you. Take his class he was worth it! You do not need the book for his class! 4 tests 1 extra credit opportunity

He might be my favorite professor! He is the nicest man and he is super funny (even if it is the same jokes over and over). A little inappropriate but in a good natured way. 4 tests which if you use the study guide he gives you then they should be no problem. No papers unless you do the extra credit. If you can take him for a class then you should!

Professor Harris gave us a packet of about 4 pages which included information we were responsible for. No need to buy the textbook. Make sure to take notes on facts he says in class because they may show up as test questions. No homework, quizzes, or projects, only 4 tests with 2 extra credit opportunities.

He's so funny!! Tests are easy and almost 100% off the study guide. Extra credit: connecting a movie you watched with class material. He makes class enjoyable and easy to understand. He's also super flexible and takes off Qs from the test if most miss it. We also watch movies in class. Pretty chill yet you learn a good amount as well.

Amazing teacher super easy, one of the easiest professors I have had so far at Towson. Highly recommend him.

Really nice guy and a great professor. He really knows a lot about abnormal psych, and he always gives a lot of examples to help you understand the material. He is also really funny. Only four tests, and a study guide is given. I would definitely recommend this class!

Dr. Harris is quite funny, at least I thought he was. His lectures are quite interesting! Your grade is only based on 4 tests, which are fairly easy. He also offers extra credit. I plan on taking another class with him. Enjoy Human Development with him!

He's a great guy. His tests were straight off of the study guide he gives out the first day of class. You don't have to show up to class, but he sometimes takes attendance plus he tells stories and jokes that are sometimes funny. He is willing to do letters of recommendation if you ask. Take him before he retires!!!

Professor Harris is a awesome teacher. Super nice and tells some funny jokes. Shows some pretty interesting movies. 4 tests & 2 extra credit movie reviews. Take good notes, follow study guide & you're good. Tests aren't hard, just study and you'll do great. Let's you out of class early. Great guy to talk to after class. Take him b4 he retires!!

Dr. Harris is a great professor. Much of his class is spent by him rambling and telling stories. He's not very funny but he tries to be; if you laugh along the class is very enjoyable. 4 tests with multiple choice and 2 SHORT answer questions. Take notes in class, review days tell you exact topics on tests and short answers.

He is a really good professor. he will give a study guide the first day that all the tests/lectures are based off of. 5 tests, no papers or other work. hes very understanding of missing class for legitimate reasons and will help you make up what you missed. basically he just wants you to listen to the material and pass. (laugh at his jokes)

Dr. Harris is a kind and knowledgeable professor. The study guide given at the beginning of class is necessary to do well, so study everything on there. Also, pay attention to the lectures as additional information is only verbal. Show up to class and be respectful. Multiple choice tests with a few short answer questions.

Attendance not mandatory but if you want an A show up. Easy A + some studying. 4 exams, 3 have 2 short answers but he literally tells you what to expect for them. He gives a huge study guide, but everything on the exams isn't on it. If you just pay attention in class you'll be fine. His grading scale is a huge blessing. quick grader.

So Mr. Harris is pretty cool guy. Tell stories a lot and bad jokes (laugh anyways). He just talks, no powerpoint. He has a study guide for the whole semester which is like exactly the tests he will give you. He plays movies a lot & leaves the room for you to watch. Has an extra credit paper on your fav book/movie. Hes a pretty good teacher!

Dr. Harris is the coolest professor I've had. He really cares about his students and gives you all the information you need to study/review for his exams. There's only 4 exams and the final isn't cumulative. There's extra credit which is so convenient for extra points. He tells very corny jokes but it really makes his day if you laugh.

Dr. Harris is really nice and the class is insanely easy - just read the study guide he provides you day 1 and you'll be set. Minimal studying is needed if you take PSYC101 beforehand. Showing up to class is not necessary nor is it graded.

Take him, his class is so easy and interesting. His tests are pretty easy as well and lets you out of class often. Watch movies a lot. He gives you a study guide for all tests.
