this teacher will keep things interesting.haven't been bored yet. tests are super easy. he does't make you feel stupid, in fact he encourages you to ask any kind of question, whether relevant to the disscussion or not

I have really enjoyed all of Professor Hays' courses that I have taken. He really digs deeply into all of the subjects and will have you thinking about everything you learned for the rest of the day. Good teacher

This is the second class I had taken with Dr. Hays. He makes learning about a dull ( or seemingly dull) subject fun and insightful. He is ALWAYS willing to help, and he is very active with his students and you are not just a number in his class.I highly recommend taking him, He is a phenomenal professor & very easy to talk to. He loves to joke too!

This was my first class with Dr.Hays and I hope that everyone can get a chance to take it with him! He is extremly knowledgable and very educated, but he doesn't use that education to make you feel inferior to him. This class was awesome! I enjoyed this class most because the teacher new his field of study and taught it in an interesting way. This class allowed students to voice their opinions and interact amongst each other. This class new how to catch my attention and keep it. This semester, Fall 2015 was my first time taking a course with Dr. Hays. I have heard good things about him and was a bit excited to take his course. My first day in Dr. Hays' class was very open and respected. I enjoyed the class so much that I go share things I've learned in class and about myself to my parents.

I learned a lot in Drug Use and Abuse. Dr. Hays made the class fun and my fellow classmates also. I'm not a talkative person but I talked in that class some. I learned that I do drugs. At first I said "I don't do drugs, what is he talking about?" Until he explained that drinking sodas, using deodorant, and using body was are drugs.

Mr. Hays is always there to listen and help. It feels good to know if I have a problem with and assignment that he is only an email away. Thanks Mr. Hays for being you! You are truly the best!

I took Dr. Hay's Dev. psych class at PVCC and loved it! He's a wonderful professor/person. He asks lots of questions to get the class thinking and engaged in conversation regarding psych topics. Most of the content he printed and brought to lecture for you to read before the next lecture. Some short papers/responses and final projects. No exams.
