Mr. H is a great professor. You learn a lot about yourself through the papers and projects. Young and hip and talks about current events. He is relatable and you can talk to him unlike other professors. He isnt too bad on the eyes either Hard but in a good way and most important wants everyone to learn!

Doing the work here whereas in high school I was in RSP Eng. I look back at that now and I say to myself WOOOH That is it! I have written papers for this class 3X as long as then. All thanks to the Mr. H full of knowledge who took me and taught to write an organized researched and structured paper. gives good feedback when you neeed it

Mr Hsiao is a very challenging teacher yet really stretches the boundaries of one's mind. He taught me so much and even taught me how to be a better person. He is a great person and an even better teacher as long as your not lazy. DO YOUR WORK OR YOU WILL NOT PASS! But the outcome is definitely worth it.

Mr. Hsaio cares about his job. You can tell he loves it. He can come down hard on us from time to time but he has a heart. SSsshhhh, dont tell him okay? He was my high school teacher, and to this day is still my favorite teacher. He is a great guy and he really makes you think. He doesn't like when people just slide by and do not care about their work. He does various extra credit opportunities. Although this class was a challenge to some, I thought it was fairly easy. I have learned I need to keep working on my fragments and run-ons. I thought he was just being plain mean when in reality Mr. H was teaching us (me)organizing the way we think and speak; I have learned that life is hard but it is worth living. If you can do good deeds do it because in the long run you are helping yourself. Existentialism YES!

Prof. H makes us keep encountering eye-opening experiences that positively change our lives forever. Uniquely himself, Mr. H takes the time to know each and every student He communicates and socializes with us as if he was another student. It is very rare to find a teacher who meets students including me where I am. He was a difficult teacher but I give him high marks because he tries his bestest to help you and above it all he realy cares. I loved the trips for extra credit, and the discussions were always awesome! GREAT!

This teacher is not easy. He starts class with huge syllabus that includes two letters from former students... you will be required to write him a letter before he gives you a grade. Keep that in mind. If you have any problems with writing about personal things, this teacher is the wrong one for you. Not an easy A and you have to go on a field trip

First online college class I ever took and I'm glad I chose it. Every week there's a discussion about a topic which is never more than seceral thoughts. Each discussion was very inspirational, along with the happiness videos he uses. I can truly say I am a better person some essays too!

The workload can be over-much, but manageable the due dates are there for a reason. Prof allows late work on everything at 50% reduction per day after the due date for major assignments, but you probably shouldn't use this as an excuse. Stay ahead and do all the work and it's a free A. He's funny relatable fine and young too.

GREAT Teacher, and genuinely cares about his students. There is a lot of writing assignments during this course, so be prepared to write lots of small and large essays. He does in-person assignments that are graded so attendance is mandatory or else you will lose points. All assignments are worth 100 points so missing will hurt you

Yes he'll give you plenty of homework that sometimes makes you feel like overwhelmin but a thing is that you gonna catch up and improve your English effectively with his particular lectures

My favorite professor I've had. His lectures are amazing and he is very knowledgeable. If you miss a day of class though, it feels like you missed a lot. You just have to show up and do the work. AMAZING AMAZING honestly he help me so much. I hate writing essays but he made it actually enjoyable and easy to understand. he just assign discussion boards once a week. you do have to write 3 or 4 papers but he honestly helps you out so much.

Easy essay exams and 3 essays along with mini writing assignments.DOABLE That's all there is to his class. Show up, pay attention to his lectures, and take notes for the exams. The exams are open note and book. CONTEXT He keeps his lectures interesting because he gives you history experience lessons and ties them to literature. WOW

Professor Hsiao is extremely welcoming and a true joy to be around. We read 5 great books stories essays throughout the semester, 3 take hone essays, and a handful of reading responses in-clasd. Professor hsiao is a very easy grader though. Take Professor class if you get the chance. YAY

Show up have a good attitude in class. He might be a tough grader whenever you see his rubrics he has examples However, you will be fine if you follow all requirements and he does process draft revise polish publish. I got a perfect score in his class.

great teacher , I had him for a semester and he has helped me with all my papers and you can work at your own pace. Only thing is that when is come to midterms/finals its not really things we talk about in class. We may go over it for a day or two but the mid term and finals dont weigh that much just do good on your papers !

Honestly, the professor is really good, he understands students situation and shows enough patience. As long as you showed your improvement and growth, you will be fine. And don't be afraid to ask for help, he's really supportive and patient.

Course was laid out in entirety upfront with clear deadlines. There is a fair amount of reading but once you understand the language, it becomes very easy to move through the material.
