Good Teacher. Not very hard to pass. No homework.
decent prof and a ok guy.

One of the easiest graders ever.
Very easy grader, he is an easy A. Also if very helpful if you have questions, and is a pretty nice guy.
Very simple course, great if you don't know or like economics. Very easy tests.
What are you guys talking about; easy tests, they're hard as heck! Studying for tests helps alot. The guy is somewhat hard to understand because he talks with an English accent even though he's black, go figure. I like him though, seems very smart. -MeEeLlUrBeEr

He's laid back. Not worried about attendance. Misses classes often.
Horrible teacher if you want to learn anything about econ. Great teacher if you just want a passing grade. He misses class regularly and cuts class short a lot. As far as learning, you won't
Very confused at first but he helped me a lot and in the end the class was very easy for me. Good lectures and supporting material.
Terrible teacher. Showed up 1hr 15min late for a two hour exam period. When a student asked "What should i do if i need more time and have to go to a class?" He responded with "You'll just have to make a choice". He offered no excuse or apology.
Passes pretty much everyone. I didn't learn a single thing from him tho. Take him if you're looking for a good grade, not to learn. He gives everyone who takes his tests Bs, oh, and if you can find a copy of his first test study it. He's gave the same test twice this year. ;)
Easy eacher. Theres only 2 exams and they are a sure pass. I actually learned stuff about the real world. Very knowledgable
This guy is a stud, he is very very knowledgable, if you dont understand something he is always willing to explain. Very very laid back and doesnt take attendance ever, and only gives 2 tests a semester. Gotta love the accent and the snobby laugh.
Its really hard to understand him. He takes a long time to explain simple concepts. Anything he teaches in class can be directly found in the text book. The exams are really hard! Often late for class or decides not to show up when there is snow on the ground. Everyone in my class did really bad on the exams. Didn't show up for an exam! BAD BAD BAD
Crazy class. If he is in attendance, expect snail paced lectures that are often times filled with silence. Class has no structure. He teaches directly from the book, which I think he helped write. NO assignments. Guy is nice enough just doesn't seem to care at ALL about the class. Still better than Peckham!
this guy has got to be the worst teacher ive ever had... he doesnt explain anything.. lecture takes forever, he only talks about one topic the entire class when you need to know about 400 topics on the test... and apparently LOVES to not show up when you have a test when there ist just a hint of snow on the ground... dont like him at all!!!!
Very bright and intelligent professor; uses his own textbooks in the classes I have taken from him. Enjoys what he does. He made a difficult class very interesting and informative. The best prof. I have had in this university.
very easy and dedicated to students
i don't think he knows where his class is most of the time. when he shows up, if he shows up, he's boring. but at least you can't walk out of there with less than a C, unless you don't take the tests...even then you may get a C...not sure.
SUCKS! Never showed up for class. Was an hour and 15 minutes late for final exam and made us still take it. Lectures were boring and had nothing to do with exam material. But he did give students b's on tests even if they really did fail.
Best professor I ever had, period. He is never late to class, and always ready to help students. This dumb individual keeps writing over and over again about him being late for an exam; enough already, get over your failing grade for the class or whatever your problem is!
Teacher is almost always late to class. Sometimes he doesnt even show up for class. But he is a very funny guy and doesnt really teach class he just talks about random stuff. You are guaranteed a C just by taking the tests even if you fail them. Its really boring and you dont really learn anything. You watch a lot of videos.
Was an hour and 15 minutes late for final exam and still made us take it. Repeatedly would walk out of class for phone calls. Late for class every single time, many times never showed up. Lectures were five minutes of material we needed to know and 25 minutes of hot air. Gave all students a C even if they failed all exams. Horrible professor!
Material was confusing. He was unclear about what you need to learn for the exam. He was willing to help if you needed it. Attendance optional. If you make an effort in the class, even if you get an F he will raise it to a C. Lectures were boring, helped very little. Read the book. Two exams, no final. Some homework, it's not graded though.
He is the laziest and worst teacher I have ever had. Class is completely pointless, consisting of economic videos or useless rambling. There are two tests, and random homework so the workload isn't too bad. However, the grading criteria is nonexistant, its anyone's guess as to how to get an A.
Very unprofessional. It took him a week to get us the syllabus, never gave back homework, and didn't keep students informed on grades. If he doesn't care about the class, then why should we?
Terrible professor, he obviously doesn't care about students or class. He is arrogant and lazy, and needs to leave.
worst teacher ever, no set grading, the tests didnt count, randomly started taking attendance cuz not enough people showing up...made you feel dumb for not knowing an answer to a question when he never taught the topic...gets off topic a lot...strong accent...horrible teacher...worst i have ever had
So many of these people hate him, i on the other hand didn't think he was that bad. i thought the class material was hard but thats the class not him. he is extremely lazy, and always comes 10+ minutes late (if he shows up at all) he gives practice exams and you are GARENTEED TO PASS!!! all in all the cass is really boring but you cant fail...
Lazy and apathetic. You are guaranteed to pass, but I think he just randomly assigns A's, B's, and C's at the end of semester. He doesn't believe in office hours or repsonding to emails. At least everyone in class is as clueless as yourself.
He is an extremely intelligent professor, and he speaks in an informal way that is easier to listen to than most other professors.
The best Prof. I have ever hard. Love his style; he cares about the subject and his students. If you are willing to work hard this is the guy to take; if you are lazy and only want to complain, then you have the wrong prof. I will take him again.
I have taken two of his classes, and found all his books very enjoyable. Because he only uses the books he authored, you are sure to get a good argument from him. My friend and I found his classes very informative. He is a major asset to the university.
I am not kidding, this Prof has at least 6 degrees--- 2 doctorates, and a law degree. Take his class and expect a wild ride into the classics and humanities. Even though I had a D in his class, I still believe he is best I have seen in a very long time.
This prof. enjoys what he does, and I like him. Very sharp too, so don't expect to pull any stunts on him. He is also very fair in grading.
He is very intelligent and articulate, but doesn't seem to care much about his students. I learned almost nothing about Economics but loads on university policitcs. I would never take him again.
Absolutely terrible teacher. Does not care if anyone learns anything. About half the class failed the first test (there are only two tests) and still ended up with a C. I learned almost nothing.
Excellent prof.
i think everyone is guaranteed a "c" even if they never come to class. Expects participation and seems puzzled why no one really contributes. Never gets to know anyone by name. I read the text (that he wrote) over and over and the tests always had questions from left field. Weak dept overall, but I would not choose him again.
Nice guy, very smart. Class and concepts are basic. Read the text, outline the chapters and you'll be fine. Everyone is basically guaranteed to pass with a "C" no matter what. No homework and only 2 exams. Doesn't take attendance either. All in all, it's an easy "C" and if you put in a little effort you can easily pass with a "B" or "C"
One word describes him, 'Brilliant".
He likes to talk alot. But you only have 2 test and no homework!
Never takes attendance. Only one midterm and one take-home final. You will not really learn anything in this class, but you will pass for sure!
Very easy class to pass with a C. Don't really have to show up to class or take notes. No homework, and only 2 tests. I don't know if it is possible to fail his class.
I took micro with him. Hes nice and really well educated. The material is right from the book. Your given a c and anything more means you tried a little. Hwk is assigned but never explained, just hope you have an interest in econ if you want more than the b i got by just reading, attending, reviewing and guessing.
I took the pol, econ, race, gender class with him in summer session, and it was super easy. You don't have to show up, and if you do, he's always late and lets you out early. Nice, well educated guy.
He isnt a good teacher and is very lazy and he just gives everyone C's in the class. I showed up not even 7 times throughout semester including the 2 tests and I still got a C. I just read the book and nothing else. There is no homework and you dont figure out your grade until very end. Didn't learn nothing
I took an econ class with him to fill in a Gen Ed requirement. I ended up getting C's on both tests in the class, but because I sucked up and asked questions in class I received an A. Very subjective grading.
He likes discussions, so read the book, contribute to class, and study for the 2 tests (midterm and final) and you will be fine!
Very good class; I enjoyed every lecture. Also a very articulate prof. He is brilliant.
I got a "D" in this class; so there goes the notion that you can not get less than C. I admit, I found Economics very difficult so I was not surprised with my grade. Ay least he did not give me an F. I did enjoy his lectures, his style, his slight arrogance, and laid-back attitude. Great guy! I will take his class again.
I learned a lot form this professor, and I am happy with my grade. Be advise, though ...he does not mess around when he begins his lectures. One distraction and he is pissed!
Smart guy, but super lazy. I would not take him again, class was pretty boring. He is full of himself and spends more time talking about his degrees and intellect than about course material. There's not much homework, and only 2 tests, but I think he randomly assigns grades to everyone. I thought I did good, but he gave me my only C.
Perhaps the best I have had in this school. I love his lectures. You have to read a lot of his writing to do well.
All business; does not mess around. Hard class but very informative. I recommend him highly
This guy is good. I loved his lectures; too sharp
Very well-read Prof. I recommend his classes.
Excellent Professor. Great class!
He was a funny guy! Always enjoyed his crazy stories and him yelling. It was always great when he would leave us for a while to get Starbucks while we got to watch Economics U$A. Easy A!!
Terrible and horrible. No notes or power point to aid your understanding. If u dont understand the book, then u dont just understand anything. He didnt even go over the basics or at least give an overview of the topic. He just jumped into discussion. How can u discuss when u dont know what is going on? DOnt take this guy!!
One of the best; his lectures are great. Loved every second of the class. Would love to take him again. Very cool prof.
admitted that hes very smart. but he has no notes, powerpoints or other ways to aid u. informal lectures because he doesnt really talk about the book; he talked other random stuff which will not be on the exams. go each chapter so fast that u r lost. u must be a genius to get at least a B in this class.
Excellent Prof. I enjoyed his class. will take him again if I can.
Professor Ifediora is quite literally an economics genius. Easily the most successful teacher I have ever met in his own personal life. Google him, you'll be more than impressed. He doesn't take attendance, and there are only a couple grades, so show up and make them count. We used the book he wrote.
He's a very smart and kind guy and willing to answer your questions when you ask. There's only two tests and that's what determines your grade. His grading scale is lenient, but if you don't attend class and don't read the book, you won't pass. If you do both, though, you're at an easy A.
good teacher really cares about helping us and good at explaining things in real terms unlike most teachers. read all the chapters which really isn't bad and you will understand it completely
Had for Intro to Microeconomics, very smart guy. You can learn a lot if you can get past his heavy accent. Has no problem clarifying things and answering questions of any kind. Made sure to never miss a single one of his classes. The trouble in this class is that there are only a few grades: A midterm, homework (little), and final. Funny stories.
The concepts can be difficultly and with him having a heavy accent it makes it harder. There is only a midterm and final for grades. i got a C- on the midterm but if you do better on the final he says he will drop the midterm. Honestly had to sit down and teach myself the concepts. Attendance is not mandatory but skipping will just put you behind.
He is a very intelligent professor with a great style of teaching, two exams are your entire grade but it is curved heavily
I am sorry guys but he is the biggest fish in the pond, and you will know as soon as you step into his lectures. Tough exams but fair.
He is the most lazy prof I have ever had. I had him for a 3 hour lecture and we barely made it to 2 hours each week. He would be at least 5 minutes late to every class. He will take 20 min breaks in class. He is a waste of your time. When you ask him questions he doesn't answer them clearly. There are two tests, midterm and final, no homework.
I do not recommend this professor. For the course I had him with; he was often late to class 10 minutes or more and canceled more class more often than you would expect. The class is simple if you can read the textbook and understand the material, otherwise he isn't to clear about the concepts during lectures; often gets off topic.
Excellent professor overall. Not very accessible outside of class, but the limited time you get with him in lecture is invaluable. Very knowledgeable and thoughtful guy. I truly feel like this was one of the most influential courses I took, even though it was an elective unrelated to my major. Very fair grader also.
This guy is extremely intelligent, but don't let that intimidate you. Thick African accent, sloppy handwriting. Class is extremely easy, cancels class often, ends early for longer sections. Only 2 grades were midterm and final, study guides handed out before were basically 75% of the exam, in the same order. I skipped 3 classes in a row, got a b
He is one of the best profs I have had. Knows his econonomics; no doubt. I would gladly take his class again.
This Prof. Makes a very difficult class easy and interesting. His textbooks are just as informative. I like him.
Really cool guy. Love his lectures. Would take him again if I need another Econ class.
Some days, his lectures are better than others. I feel like I definitely learn a lot and understand the material better the days where his lectures are good. But the other days, I am left asking myself what the point of me showing up to class was. However, he is very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to.
Great lectures. I would recommend him highly.
A very smart man. Two tests are your grade, better grade of the two. He offered an extra credit paper as well. His lectures can be dry, but he will often connect the real world to the material. A study guide that is 50-75% of the first exam is given. The 3 hour block section will last 1.5 hours at most, with him being late and a 20 minute break.
A really interesting professor.... I enjoyed and learned a lot in this lectures.
Had him last year, but heard he left University of Wisconsin.I hope not because he is really very good. His lectures were the best I ever had at the university. Supremely smart and knowlegeable; he is also very fair in his grading.
Lectures can be boring. There were literally 2 grades the whole class and basically no work outside of class. If you don't really like economics and just want an easy A then TAKE HIM!!!
Terrible teacher. Once he didn't even show up so we left. We had to remind him when spring break was and tell him to give us a test which then he made take home and yet still everyone got terrible grades. He pulls from future chapters that the class hasn't read yet. Impossible to follow and does nothing to engage students. Do not take this class!!!
Actual worst teaching experience I've ever had
This is the most credentialed professor on campus, period. He uses his own books for lectures and made a difficult subject very interesting. I will highly recommend him.
This guy is Oxford and Cambridge University trained. His good, trust on this. I enjoyed every bit of his lectures.
