worst teacher ever. by mid semester there were 8 people left. what kind of teacher tells you the pray for a snowday at the end of every class. we talked more about airline rates than how to find asymptotes

This guy is a complete JERK! All he does is put down everyone and everything. He has no interest in teaching math..he never talks about math. He stands on his soap box and complains about how great he is and how horrible everyone else is. He is immature and he thinks he's funny when he's nothing

Class was a waste of time, all he does is talk about his life and crack jokes. If math comes eazy to you take him, becaues he is an easy A but if u struggle he is usless

intro to alg. his classes were a joke. im shocked they can have a prof. of his nature at a college campus. he actually stood in class and did not teach a darn thing. he wrote problems on the board and sat down there was no direction. if you had a ? it was rudely ans. i am stunned and at the blatant disregard for students and the inst. of high learn

He just stands at the board and does the problems out of the book with no explanation. If you ask him anything, he just repeats it the same way. By teaching myself at home, I was able to get a B+, but I didn't really understand anything. Catch phrases you will hear daily: "MMhmm!" "Sorry. Not nice." Very flamboyant!

Terrible teacher make sure you do not get him unless u wanna withdraw

If you need any math explained to you, DO NOT take this teacher! All he talks about is airlines and his personal life. You are basically left to fend for yourself as far as the actual subject is concerned.

He doesnt know how to teach the information well and when you ask questions he says rude remarks not answering what you asked.

At first seemed to have a great sense of humor, seemed helpful.. Wasn't at all. Feels like I was teaching myself Statistics. Not an easy subject & he just seemed for interested in himself then teaching the class. He lets you use the book but its pointless since it all doesn't make send & he doesn't help make it any easier.

This guy is rude. He runs through problems and will not take the time to explain them. At first you think he is funny, but then it gets old. I don't know if he cares about the students or not. Hes very condescending and gets a kick out it.

If you are struggling in math I would not recommend Keating. He feels everyone is perfect in math. Teaching pace is too quick and he does not make sure you have the best understand on the material. Always goes off topic and wastes class time. And he's never on time for his class!

Goes off topic often , doesn't teach the material well. Honestly if youre looking at this for College Algebra please dont do it !

If math isn't second nature and want to pass at all then don't take a class with this professor. He is rude, doesn't answer questions and will make you feel stupid for asking a question. Gets so off topic it wastes almost the whole class and he always talks about politics. Just a waste of time, half of my class dropped.

Professor Keating is rude to all of the students in my class. He is quick to speak of his personal life but not so much to assist students with their work or provide clarity.

I took this class last semester: When you ask questions in class he tells you that you should've learned it in high-school. He expects you to do atleast 16 hours of homework a week, and HE NEVER GOES OVER IT. He then will continue to go at a fast pace and not teach his students. AWFUL.

He is the worst thing that ever happen to mathematics.

He's the most awful prof i have ever taken. i usually get A's and B's when it comes to math class. But ever since i took keating, i started getting F's. He's always sarcastic, and you can never see him for extra help. Hes lectures are bad, He's like solving a problem by himself and the students are irrelevant. Worst handwriting as well.

Take this class at your own risk! Attendance is mandatory but if you missed one class, you will be screwed. Hard grader and the tests are much harder than the material we actually learned in class. He's also obsessed with his airline experiences. Be prepared to drop this class or dedicate yourself entirely to this class.

just like everyone else is saying this guy talks about airlines and traveling for 20 minutes of the class then just does homework problems the entire class and is basically a self learning class and he only gives a couple tests that are much harder than the material you learn in class

He doesn't use Canvas which every other professor has. He doesn't have an email, so any questions or issues have to wait. The quizzes are difficult. Although its open note, his penmanship is so bad you can't write down th notes. If you miss a class especially a quiz he wont be flexible and is rude . And he rambles constantly about airlines. Awful!

This instructor's performance is highly unsatisfactory. His handwriting is difficult to read, and he struggles with using the projector effectively. Additionally, he fails to update Canvas or notify students of room changes via email. Consequently, students are left to handle the majority of the learning independently.
