Good professor. Makes it very easy to pass course with assignments and extra credit. Would recommend to anyone.

Professor Kelly was pretty good. He got a bit boring sometimes but mostly he was cool. There's not a lot to do and it's not hard. His tests and assignments are on vista so if you're looking for an easy A, take him.

Attendance is important. His test are hard, but you can use the book and notes. 2 projects. Nice guy and easy course. Boring class!

I liked this professor and I wouldn't mind taking him again. Work consist of numerous discussions, video quizzes, online homework, and group projects. Always willing to help his students succeed. You can tell he really cares about his students. The only downfall is that he can be boring at times. I would recommend.

Others should follow Dr. Kelly's course as an example of how to run online courses. He posts everything at the beginning so you can work at your own pace, many chances to earn extra credit, posts grades in a timely manner, provides great networking opportunities. This professor is exceptional.. We can work in groups on certain projects which help in a one month class. The test are easy. WISH he had other classes. But other than that HE is all around GREAT,HELPFUL. take this class believe me he is good.

What an amazing professor. I loved Professor Kelly's inspirational journey with disabilities and truly enjoyed the course. I would recommend students to get in a group early on. You can work thru the course in 6 days. I don't recommend that, but I was taking 4 classes in summer 3, so. I look fwd to a lifelong continued association with Prof Kelly.

Loved this professor, took PED 3301 online, just do the work, and you will pass with a great grade. The activities are also very useful and you will end up learning a ton without even realizing it.

Professor Kelly is very clear and his class was not hard at all. He gives you a lot of extra credit opportunities. He always responds to emails very quick. I would have loved to take his class F2F. Don't get me wrong! Online was great but it would have been a lot more interesting to be if it was in person. Maybe that's just me! I recommend!

Professor Kelly is very helpful, flexible, and a great professor for PED 3301. The textbook is needed to complete assignments and test but it is very interesting. I learned a lot in this class. He was also very clear in what he wanted and any concerns he was quick to respond. It is a lot of work but you can work at your own pace, which i loved!

His personality shows through his friendly messages. It was an online course but I wish I could have met him or taken his course face to face. He seems to be a cool professor.

Dr. Kelly is lenient on all grades and assignments except for tests. Fall 2015 semester had 3 tests, all of which were open book and open notes. There is no reason not to pass this course. There are plenty of extra credit assignments and Dr. Kelly allows for all assignments (other than tests) to be redone. Awesome professor!

This class is very interesting and Prof Kelly is great. It's straight forward and easy to pass. You can work at your own pace and you have ample opportunity for extra credit. One big deadline at the end of the semester. It may be awesome for some but a nightmare for people who specialize in procrastination like me. :(

Professor John Kelly was amazing! I took his PED 3301 online class and, despite personal issues I was going through, and it was so perfectly laid out with very clear and concise information. His work is posted for the whole semester from Day 1, so you're free to work as fast as you want. I give him a perfect score of 10 (out of 10).

This professor was an easy ongoing professor the class was taken online and unlike some classes I was able to keep up with this class even though I am a full time student with 1 full time job and a part time job too. I would highly recommend this professor, also the amount of work given is normal and there is only 3 deadlines for all the work!! :)

Dr. Kelly is AMAZING!! His class is pretty laid back, but very informative. He has deadlines but they are not enforced, pretty much a dead line to keep you on track. You have until the very end of the semester to finish your stuff. He is absolutely awesome, TAKE HIM!!

Dr. Kelley is one of the best professors at UHD. His grading criteria is straight-forward and you will do well in the class as long as you get the work done. There are some extra credit opportunities so that's a plus. If you ever need help, he is very approachable :)

It's a very easy class at first you'll be like "Whoa, that's a lot workload", BUT there's two things that were awesome 1) there were NO due dates so you could work as slow as you want or as quickly as you wanted 2) read the chapters and it'll be easy. all in all, pretty straight forward class, would definitely take again.

This class is great! You have the opportunity to learn so much. If you want an A you can definitely make one; corrections and extra credit available; which increases your learning potential. I believe he cares about your success. It did take me more than 2 hrs a chapter though (including reading the chapter).

This class had many assignments but they all tied to the content very well. I enjoyed doing some of the assignments because it taught me many things I didn't know. Took this online as an elective bc of this site and I am so glad I did. He lets you turn things in whenever you want as long as its before the last day of class. Textbook is a must bc thats where all the answers are and offers test corrections for full credit! A very doable class and extra credit. No need to buy the updated book I got mine $10. A++

Professor Kelly gives a lot of time to finish assignments. They aren't due until the end of the semester and then he also provides a lot of extra credit work. Easy A and very informative! I wish he teach all of my classes.

Professor Kelly is an excellent teacher, although there is a lot of work. You will have to get the textbook, reading is a must in this class. I took his class online in the fall and it was EASY!! He gave us everything we needed to do at the beginning of the semester and it was up to us to finish it all WHENEVER we wanted. No due dates. I was done with all his (easy) assignments by October!

PED 3301 , VERY Fair teacher he gives you all the time you need to finish your assignments the discussions are very easy, the quizes are 5 questions EACH it is a lot of work but it super easy and you can finish early he also gives us a lot of extra credits great teacher very responive and cares about his students !

Great caring Professor

Easiest A in your life. The entire class only requires about two hours of the easiest work youve even done. Boring and worthless work, but easy. The professor is a really easy grader, but you dont get any feedback. If youre going to actually teach special education, I would not recommend this class. But if you arent, its an easy A.

The entire class opens at the beginning. SOOOOOO EASY! Takes effort and you will learn a lot but it's seriously the best class! I got through the whole class in about 3 weeks. One major assignment where you have to do observations and write a paper but otherwise it's all able to be done quickly and he gives great feedback!

This was an easy class. Everyone says they didn't learn anything but if you actually read his assignments and try instead of googling stuff.. you will learn a lot. He offers A LOT of extra credit. Definitely taking again.

This class has to the easiest class in any university in country. I completed the entire semesters assignments in a few hours, and everything can be found online in a snap. I recommend taking Dr. Kelly online though, especially if flatulence doesnt bother you.

Dr. Kelly selects great assignments that support the course objective of introduction to special populations. This course indeed introduces you to special populations. Lots of reading, but it has an audio feature that reads to you, and there are many opportunities to succeed in the course.

Dr. Kelly is by far the best Professor I have had at UHD! If youre going into teaching hes the best to take! You will learn a lot from him. I got an A in his class because I did all the work that was required. So dont be lazy in his class. Do what is required and youll do fine he even gives extra credit.

He will have a meeting online to tell you what all is expected and open the class early for you to go thru what needs to be done. Great professor, he replies to emails right away. He does have a lot of course work but it’s manageable. He talks about his past experiences in schools and relates them to the coursework. I enjoyed his class and the modules he provided, yes his a bit disorganized but he does everything to help students.

Professor Kelly was always super understanding! The work is not hard, but it can be time consuming sometimes. He is always very quick about answering emails, you have the option of meeting him on Zoom once a week for any questions. Professor Kelly will work with you to make sure you get an A!

Dr. Kelly provides a TON of extra credit opportunities! I took this class online-asynchronous and completed work as I could. The readings were manageable, but also had videos to go with quizzes to put the information into perspective. Professor was always reaching out to students and available. I would definitely take his class again, an easy A!
