He teaches nothing in the class, sometimes chats outside with other person, otherwise sits before the computer to do his own business. Students just do the homework by themselves. But he still gets salary. It must be the best job in the world. Easy money especially in nowadays economic situation.

I don't know why some students comments he is a good professor.He didn't teach anything.He sits before the computer to do his own business. Students just do the homework by themselves. I have never seen a poorer teacher like him. Very helpless. Doesn't teach at all, but gives exams much harder than other teachers. Sometimes he even cannot give right answers to the question he is teaching. Poor!

He doesn't have sense of responsibility. He is a hard mark. He doesn't teach in class, just make meaningless "jokes". Overall, choosing him is a bad idea.

Why not select another professor who teaches this course in a more professional manner, who teaches and give adequate tutoring about the knowledge and skills about Excel and more patient and respect his students' questions?

He doesn't care whether you come to class or not. Even though you come to class, you should do self-study using your textbook. Sometimes he teachs something with very many mistakes. It will make you confuse. Test papers always have lots of mistakes so students should ask what the questions mean exactly. Double check your marks, it might be wrong.

He do not teach you. He only give you a paper and let you pass the exams with many mistakes. You will confuse what should to do.

Tells you that the mark average will be a C. Is this fair evaluation? Says marks are too high, won't help with studying. Better yet he says he will make the tests hard because we need it like that or that he will make sure the average is a C. Good luck here Doesn't teach. Runs through 1 chapter in 15 minutes, or 2 chapters ppt in 20 minutes

Lazy prof, likes to tell stories in class that are not relevant.

He depends too much on given textbook questions for tests. Requires you to purchase $170 textbook to pass the course. You will spend a lot of time studying on your own. I strongly would not recommend taking this course if you can avoid it. Although he is better than the previous prof.

Most annoying prof ever. Spends the entire class joking around w/ ppl, telling boring life stories rather than teaching - no point coming to lectures. He also gets pretty rude when u ask him questions, so no help there. The only silver lining is that he's an easy marker. Take the course w/ another teacher if you can.

He always forgets that he is not in a story telling class. He never provides proper instructions for assignments. You have do lot of research work to complete class assignments.

always answers vaguely no matter what the question is about. Doesn't give clear and useful instructions. Tells weird and hilarious stories tho, take his classes if you're into that sort of things nut don't expect to benefit much from his teachings. He mixes his lectures with these irrelevant stories and leaves you in a state of confusion.

I thought that this guy just likes to talk about his life but NO, he's an actual storyteller. Spends the first 5 minutes of class opening the powerpoint which he never discussed. Spends the rest of class story telling. Two assignments of accounting entries and financial statements-prepare to study yourself. Online quizzes, a midterm and final test.

Taught us during my project management days. Good human being but doesnt know how to teach. Telling personal Caribbean experience was necessary rather than teaching the course. College should appoint teachers wisely considering we pay a lot for the education not for the stories.

He goes on long boring stories about things that have nothing to do with accounting. Will spend most of the class telling you about his Caribbean trip instead of balance sheets. Textbook is mandatory and expensive. Online quizzes plus 2 assignments. Expect to study on your own.

Worst prof/teacher I have ever had. Tells stories the entire class and is the most arrogant guy Ive ever seen. Hell act like hes a nice guy but in reality hes so disorganized that you shouldnt trust anything he says. He was so bad our section tried to get him thrown out. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF.

worst professor please do not take him if you have option . in lecture he talk all about timhortan,starbucks, and other companies but never teach anything in class' going to his class is waste of time. study from wiley you will score good. but he just came in class waste student time and in the last half hour of class just go rapidly over stuff.

John seems to love nothing more than the sound of his own voice. Unfortuately, the words themselves rarely convey the specific subject matter at hand. He goes on more tangental journeys than my 95 y/o grandma attempting to tell us about her first day of school. Unfortunately it rarely actually relates to the course content being discussed.

if you love history,take his class because he is going to talk about his old life history all day :) .

He takes forever to replies his emails. Disorganized and complicate the stuff. Don't deliver the knowledge well. Don't take this.

Not honest, confused, takes hard way to make students learn(which is not a good way)

Problems: 1. Issue with marking, gives incorrect marks many times. 2. Digresses from the topic when teaching in class. 3. Self-centered and tyrannic, with Rhetoric of how great a professional he was. 4. No prior information of expectations/format during our class in york. 5. Same old style of teaching in class, word for word reading of slides.

It's so ironic that someone who teaches Project Communications could be the most ineffective communicator. He would talk about how in presentations we shouldn't be reading the words, and not make it too wordy. But his lectures are exactly like that. * He also makes cheating accusations * His instructions are confusing * Lots of spelling errors

He taught PM Communication class. Irony is he would never reply to any Students email. If you ask any assignment related problems to him, he would find a way to blame you. Also, get ready for Plagiarism tag(Youll know if you take his class.) knowledgeable professor with experience but do not know how to treat his students properly.

Exaggerates about his work which is irrelevant and unnecessary. Talk about plagiarism whereas his own work is plagiarised.

1st Gave incorrect grading for the almost the whole class - 2nd only talks about, how great a professor he is - 3rd Never replied to emails - 4th pet phrase - you are the project manager you have to figure it out - if you want to make your student journey hell and worst, please join the professor.

Awful Professor, every work you have done are plagiarism in his eyes.

This is the worst professor I have ever met in my life. He graded student tough but the critical thing is that he didn't give valuable or specific feedback for the assignments in which student don't know what's wrong and how to improve. More than half of the student in class are charged plagiarism without detail investigation on each case.

Not only was he an extremely tough grader, but he wasn't teaching us anything of value. He could have responded more when I tried to ask him for help. It was clear that he didn't care about his student's success, which made it hard for me to feel motivated to do well in his class. Don't take courses with this professor if you can avoid it.

Honestly this course itself is not structured well, but John makes it harder to get good grades. He actually never reviews any of our quizzes, activities and projects; instead he gives random grades between 70~80% even if you put all your effort in. He accuse you for asking for correction even though he made a mistake of grading quizzes.

He is a good grader but always tells stories of his life in class. Best class to do your other classes' homework. He just talks and talks and talks, and he is very weird :D. If you want the mark, get him you most probably end up with an 80+ grade overall, but you won't learn anything.

I just wish he'd stop talking about how mighty his career is in every single class. It can be passed but I'd suggest take someone else.

Of a 3-hour class, spent the first 40 minutes saying how good his career was from working at Mcdonalds to working with Bill Gates. The next 40 minutes asking everybody's name and origin spent the last 10 minutes on some course materials. Then there is an assignment on that same week, including a 40-slide pdf containing complex information

I don't even know how he's allowed to 'teach'. He gives random grades! By that I mean: you can do 100% and still fail his quiz! His lectures are full of nonsense and the learning material that he gives is even worse. What the hell Seneca?!

Useless lectures, extreme difficult quizzes and assignments, random grading, never feedback, marks were often misjudged. He doesn't care about his students at all. John made this course a nightmare for the first semester. But you would be forced to learn the debug skill of Microsoft Word.
