Game 2 play: try figuring out what his drink of choice is..beer? now does he drink it from a glass, bottle, can or pint glass? OR is it vodka? That should entertain you during lecture.

This is embarassing to the Walton College. He is a disgrace to all professors at his level. He knows nothing about teaching just because he worked at Coke. Sitting thru his class is neither stimulating nor tolerable. ABSOLUTELY ridiculous he is allowed to teach seniors at this level. Listening to him talk is like fingernails on a chalkboard. AVIOD

What can I say that hasn't been said? He only teaches about golf and Coca-Cola. I learned more about namedropping than I did about mgmt. And the cumulative final? He changes just enough questions so no one has the possibility of raising their grade. Grades attendance and speaking up in class hardcore. If you are shy you are screwed before you start

Horrible teacher. Very unclear on assignments and projects and knows very little about the mandatory simulation. Tests are tough, but I pulled out a B.

I was apprehensive to ask questions in class because the first two times i did, his response was "I don't know." He enjoys making you look like an idiot with his wonderful "sense of humor." He provided me w/ no guidance or insight concerning the material. I think the class was 10x's harder than what it shouuld've been due to his poor "teaching."

One of the worst teachers I have encountered, and I am not a whiner. I can even tolerate poor personality or a boring lecture if the professor knows what they are talking about. He does not. It seems like learning the material you are teaching should be a minimum requirement. Just goes to show that real world experience doesn't = actual knowledge.

This is the worst person and teacher I have ever encountered. He has no respect for anyone. You can not ask him any questions. Please do not take a class by this teacher. If students do not enroll in his class, then maybe the WCOB will do something with him.

Launder is nice guy, but teaching is not for him. I can read power point slides on my own time. This class sets you up for failure. I attended every class, took every quiz and test making A's. I worked very hard from the beginning to the end of the semester and still ended up with 6 hours of B's. Watch out for the final!

it's easy to get an A if you just go to class and make sure you get all the cengage and capsim work done..as far as the accounting goes just try your best not to listen to anything he says cuz half the time it's wrong. read the textbook and use the cengage help tools as a crutch to overcome his overwhelming lack of teaching ability

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. He is not a good teacher and grades extremely too hard for a 1000 point Bstrat class. It's impossible to get an A in this 6 hour class, especially when the test averages are failing, simply because he can't teach. And don't even think about a curve because he won't admit its his fault and give his students a break.

Avoid this teacher. Has very little teaching abilty and repeatedly made mistakes in class. Does not prepare students for the department final. And his jokes are stupid. Take anyone else ...

Please dont take him. He is not at all interested. Never explains properly and if ou have questions, he wouldn't be helpful. Extremely hard to get even a B. Expects students to cover material on their own. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE.

Man, you've gotta take somebody else for this course. He will embarrass you in front of everyone for cracking knuckles. Also, u will learn very little.

For the tests memorize the handouts and the chapter and you'll get an A. Do all of the easy online points and homework. The Capsim is frustrating and Launders makes many technical mistakes. He is boring and rude in class but try to suck up to him because he raised me to an A after the final.

He is rude and ultra boring. You will struggle to get a B in this course. I got a C. I studied for the final for 60+ hours, starting a full two weeks before the final and I got a B. This is a prof who will make you want to drop out of college. Also your simulation is graded on what place you're in, unlike the other classes. Don't take it.

Launder is one of the worse professors I have had. He puts very little effort into his classes and cares very little about the success of his students. He has substantial industry experience, but there is a gap between the tests which are based on the textbook and what he teaches which is more industry based.

If your running late to class just don't go, if you walk in late he singles you out and is very rude if you walk straight in without his permission. His test are nothing like the PowerPoints, I went to almost every class and still made C's on the exams. No phones or laptops, he will call you out and stop class if he sees a phone.

Launder is one of the worse professors I have had. He has a lot of industry experience, but have no idea why the college hired him if he continually does a poor job of teaching the material. The final for this class is cumulative and everything from a long 350-page book is fair game.

The most rude professor Ive had in my four years at Arkansas. Always gets condescending when a student doesnt fit the mold he has for them. Does not do a very good job of teaching the materials or even telling you what to expect for the exams

This course is extremely difficult but Launder makes it 10x harder. He will add one extra chapter for each test that isn't required by the department. He gives a quiz at the beginning of every class then lectures the rest of the time but it's never useful content. You will have to watch videos or read the textbook before or else he scolds you.

Mr. Launder is a very smart and successful businessman not the best teacher. I am not a fan of his class because every class is the same thing. We sit down, he lectures, he struggles with his computer, we get assigned random group projects, we get a quiz sometimes, and turn in papers. Try to get another professor for this class, cool material.

Hands down one of the worst professors at the U of A. Put no effort into the class, was unprepared, and had terrible grading requirements. I spent a lot of time, learned nothing, and got a bad grade. Do not take his class

Rudest professor I've ever had. drill instructor for strategic management. He picks on students and makes them feel stupid.

Lecture heavy, assigned groups, quiz every class on chapter, articles, and lecture videos. I usually study well but have done mediocre on exams. Test questions are long and scenario based, so you have to know concept and context in which you're put in. Would recommend any other professor or take online (though it probably won't be any easier). Ugh.

Where to start, don't pay close attention to the course calendar. He changes it frequently and without warning. We started working on our group project per the calendar and then we reassigned groups? He does NOT communicate anything. One of the WORST teachers I have ever taken. U of A, needs to hold these professors accountable. DO better.

Worst professor that I have ever had. I recommend choosing any other professor over this one.

Such a hard class. Taught us absolutely nothing then would give us 100 difficult test questions to complete in 45 min. I ended with an 89.5 in the class and he refused to round. He was also very rude and unhelpful when responding to emails and questions. Also, he coughs constantly throughout class which was very distracting.

Worst Professor I've ever had in 4years. evade him at all cost. he has temper managing problem and test will be nothing you studied for.

Worst prof I have ever had. Quiz everyday of class over articles that are not on the test. Quiz the very first day of class without a heads up. Not allowed to use laptops during class, and will yell at you if you even have your phone out. Tries to start class early every day. Boring lectures, hard tests, and a bad professor. Don't take him.

Launder is very boring and will yell at you for using a laptop or phone at any time. If im paying to take this class I should be able to take notes on my laptop. Weekly quizzes that arent bad but the lectures are just so monotone. Dont take this class if you take notes on your laptop... or do, if you liked to be yelled at in front of everyone.

Just like most people on here, I think Launder is a horrible teacher. Mono tone lectures that put most people to sleep. He lives in the 20th century not the 21st, expecting everyone to take notes with paper. Quizzes do not prepare you for the exams, they only deal with the random articles he assigns that have little to nothing to do with our topic

Was a tough grader on papers and tests were difficult (study his chapter ppts!!). He curved our exams after no one did well. Was passive-aggressive in every email he responded to and 10/10 would never take his class again. Took this class online, so I've never met him in person.

This is the worst professor I've ever had. He was very rude and aggressive when responding to any student emails. Changed the final exam from 50 to 80 questions the day of the final and his tests were extremely difficult, especially it being an online class. He should not be allowed to teach and was difficult about everything.
