Great professor who's very interesting to listen to so paying attention shouldn't be hard.

Lentine was one of my favorite professors hands down. He was really clear in his lectures. If you want to pass his exams just focus in class and show up! He is hilarious and understanding. Everything is on blackboard usually prior or right after class so don't worry about missed notes.

Lentine is by far one of the best professors I've had. He's lenient, which coincidentally is an anagram for Lentine. The tests are pretty easy and he explains the content well, amazing lecture.

He's a great professor i really enjoyed him. He gave me only two assignments both one page and both in the beginning of the semester. His lectures are on blackboard so missing notes is not an issue. Hes a great talker so paying attention isnt difficult. His tests are easy. I had a take home test and final and two in class. Hes very fair and cool.

Taking cor100 with professor Lentine was the best decision I made the last semester. He was so easy on us and his lectures were not long like other professors. Besides that, he is a really cool professor. If I would take this class again, absolutely, I will be with professor Lentine.

Hands down easiest class I've taken. Lentine is so lenient and understanding just don't take advantage of it! The reviews are the test so always look at the review. A good class to take if you need to boost your gpa, it's and easy A. Don't buy the textbook you don't use it at all and there is no homework.

Without a doubt one of the best professors at CSI. He genuinely cares about his students and is looking to pass everyone. I actually looked forward to attending class. He made the material easy to understand and relatable. He might be little but his personality is large and in charge and his jokes can really brighten up your day when you need it.

This professor has made my first semester pretty easy. His work was very easy as long as you came to class everyday and did what you were supposed to do. HATES IF YOU TALK AND TAKE OUT YOUR PHONE! Trust me I know from experience DONT DO IT you will regret it. Tests are from notes and review sheets study those and you'll get an A on everything.

Prof. Letine took over my COR100 class MID SEMESTER when my previous teacher had gotten ill. He picked up the slack like a champ and didn't complain not once. Great teacher, really learned a lot. Funny, and engaging. Lucky to have gotten him who cared about my class actually learning something. DON'T use your phone and DON'T be late.

This professor by far is the best professor I have ever encountered. Professor Lentine is hilarious and understanding. You do not get too much homework and the tests as long as you study, will be okay. You don't use the book though so don't bother buying it, and no phones!!

Prof. Lentine is one of the most respected and hilarious professor, I've ever had. COR 100 sounded really boring, but I supposed to take it because of the requirement. Luckily, I took Prof. Lentine's class and he changed my point of view towards COR because his lectures are easy to understand and enjoyable and he is a truly gifted professor.

He is definitely the professor you want in any subject. He's a genius in his field but he is also hilarious and really teaches in a way that makes you want to learn. I will really miss this professor as well as the class which has become like my family.

Hilarious teacher that makes his classes more of a conversation rather than spit facts at you to memorize. Plenty of opportunity to do really well and gives extra credit throughout the semester. I transferred from another school and Lentine is one of my favorite professors yet. Wants you to succeed and actually cares about the material and student.

Professor Lentine is the best. He lectures exactly what is on the test and never fails to correct his own mistakes if there are any. All the test are online and you have ample time to complete them. He often makes a review sheet with answers to direct questions that cover some of the test. He's great.

Professor Lentine is a rarity amongst the staff; you will find professors that teach you to critically think few and far between throughout your stay at CSI. Professor Lentine is great! I would without a doubt take him again. He often gives extra points on tests and will always own up to the few errors he might make, changing your grade accordingly. He makes history fun and constantly crack jokes. His tests are his lectures verbatim. I would definitely recommend printing them out as outlines to study.

Professor Lentine was great. The grading was clear and his tests were all online. You could take them at home if you want. He even provided amazing review sheets. If you stay off your phone, wait until after class to talk to your friends, and can manage to come in on time you should have no problem.

I took Prof Lentine for Cor 100. Great professor. Very in depth with his material and Explains it all! He is funny, keeps the class engaged and is patient with his students. Pay attention, Study the material and you will pass his class with out a doubt. If all professors were like him college, it would be a breeze.

I expected Core 100 to be the typical class but American History was turned on its head. Professor JL was always prepared. Always leaves you wanting to read his power points. He is an excellent lecturer and is comical about his teaching method. This put me at ease to learn without realizing. He is a teacher as well. CSI, salute.

Lentine is such a great Prof. He explained everything in a way that made everyone so interested in every topic. His Star Wars references are hilarious, I was laughing 95% of the time, made Saturday morning class enjoyable. Prof. Lentine is a great and funny guy. All you need to do is show up to class, participate, study from his slides, and do good on the tests.

Professor Lentine is great. Hes lenient and will work with you if you need an extension. Just talk to him. His lectures are clear and he explains everything. He gives us review sheets for the tests. All the questions come from the review sheets. If you think the tests are hard, you arent doing your work. Do not miss the final review.

Slides are up before the class starts. Syllabus lays out all the readings from day one. There is plenty of time to familiarize yourself with the topic. Just say something. He really cares too so talk to him if youre having an issue and hell work with you.

Honestly one of the best professors Ive ever had. He doesnt like cellphones in class but his lectures are so entertaining you wont want to be on it. He makes his own slides and has his tests online (AND HE GIVES YOU ALL THE SLIDES TO LOOK AT). Nicest guy and will answer any question. He really throws himself into his work. This is a real pro!

He's a nice professor, and he does give review sheet 1 week before the exam. The exam is online, but it's NOT easy. You get only 1 hour to do it. He's strict with rules. Don't come late, and dont use ur phone.

Prof. Lentine had a difficult assignment when he was thrown into teaching on zoom during the Covid-19 crisis. He excelled at performing for everyone through a webcam and was very personable even though he didn't get a chance to meet anyone in person. Group discussions from varying topics were approached with respect. Great guy and great Prof!

Professor John Lentine is a great and best history professor in CSI. His quiz and exams aren't difficult as long as you study his review sheet and he curves grade by giving extra credits. I would recommend him to everybody to take his class.

He is an awesome teacher, I had him last semester and he was super understanding when it came to late assignments. It was pretty simple you had a quiz every week that was based on the slides before. Make sure you listen to the lectures because he includes information that is on there. Overall if you had to pick a core 100 teacher pick him!!

Super Understanding on giving extensions and not that much work.

I had professor Lentine for an asynchronous course. Quizzes and discussion boards are due weekly. Discussion boards count for attendance. I had a total of 5 essays, plus one for the final. The word count needed to be at least 250 so it wasn't that bad. He provides the textbook. Great professor and is understanding with extensions.
