Finally a professor who makes learing fun. Nice to have a professor trys different methods of teaching. Plus, he's hot. ;) Yay for Dr. Lindsay!

No attendance policy. No tardy policy. Up to a full letter grade's worth of extra credit. All tests on WebCt. This was a dream class. He is a funny guy who doesn't take much of anything, including himself, too seriously. Highly reccommend.

Very cool professor. Teaches in a way that is fun and interesting. Explains things in a very understandable way. Offers bonus points--but if you pay attention, etc., you won't need them. I would definitely take him for any other courses he teaches. Wish more professors taught like he did.

Dr. Lindsay is a great teacher...this was one of the few classes I didn't mind waking up to go to.

His class is so fun. He's hilarious! Yet he manages to teach psychology while he is being so intertaining. All opportunities to express knowledge are on WebCT so technically they could be open book if you wanted them to be.

He is mixes comedy with learning and does it effectivily. However, the class goes at a slow pace at times. He realy gets the students involved in class but has no attendance policy. I would recommend him because he is a great person to make you love psychology.

very easy. you can make an A in this class without attending. all tests are straight from the book and on the internet. he posts them for a few days and allows two chances to take it. when you do go to class though he is funny and entertaining.

One of the best classes I've taken in college. Dr. Lindsay has a LOT of information about life to pass on, and teaches you many different ways to cope with life's issues. Its a very open and personal class where you learn more life lessons than academic information, but its definitely worth it. He's a great guy who you can learn a lot from.

HE IS SOOOOOOOO Easy. I would suggest to anyone to take him. Though he does give out random bonus points he does teach now. He definitely knows his Psych. Can go off on a tangent at times. Most people don't show up, but it's fun when you go.

Dr. Lindsay is the best professor on campus! He really knows what he's talking about and has a wonderful classroom atmosphere. Show up to class to get lectures over the material. If you miss a class, he doesn't care. 3 online tests. all straight from the book. gives extra credit points for various things. my final grade was a 106!

He is very easy. I made a 107. He gives out extra credit alot. He makes lots of jokes while he lectures and he is not boring. He doesnt care if you show up to class or not. 3 online tests that you can use anything for. I used the test Preparation booklet on the tests made notecards and got A's. I strongly recommend him if you want and easy A.

It is not so much the fact that Prof. Lindsey is "easy". It is more the fact that he is an excellent educator that cares about his students, knows how to teach and modivate college students!!! He is an outstanding Teacher and mentor!

Very funny. I went to class maybe 5 times and I got a B. the tests are all online. But i did hear that he changed his attendance policy...but it's an enjoyable class

Great teacher. He is always making jokes and keeping class interesting. There was no attendance policy, so I rarely went and made a 98 in the class, just from reading the book. Tests are easy, but require reading.

A good-enough teacher. I heard one of the dirtiest jokes in my life during one of his classes, so we usually were awake during lectures.

I think he might be a tad bit overrated, but his class is still the easiest A I've ever made in my life. If you actually want to learn something, though, you have to have the self-will to learn for yourself. Tests are super easy and don't require you to study or even show up for class.

John Freakin' Lindsey is the greatest psych professor ever!! His class is amazing. There are only three tests - all online. He gives out bonus points throughout the semester. He is hilarious. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!

Dr. Lindsay is absolutely incredible. He explains the deepest psychological concepts in ways that are fun, interesting, and easy to listen to. I had little interest in psychology before taking his class, but after being in his class with him, I am minoring in psychology just so I can take his upper level courses. AWESOME teacher. Consider yourself incredibly lucky if you get a spot in his class. He makes everything interesting, he's hilarious, and the class is very straight forward and easy to get an A in. I loved going to class every day. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I took 2 of his classes in 1996-1997. Yes, it's easy if you either come to class or read the text. For those that don't go to class - you are MISSING OUT. So funny - two of the most interesting classes I took!!! So skip the book and just go to class to learn and laugh!

Funniest, most laid back teacher you could ever have. Every student should at least take one class with him. If you don't you will miss out on an opportunity of a lifetime.

This was my first Psychology class. Mr. Lindsay is insanely funny, witty, and intelligent. Attendance isn't taken but there are "bonus" and "minus" days, both of which count for or against your final average. Lindsay knows his stuff and I've only seen him kick two students out once, but they were warned but wouldn't quit being rude.

Best teacher I've had so far. He's hilarious and makes class fun. There are only 3 online tests that are very easy. There are also LOTS of bonus point opportunities.

Extremely easy class. There are only 3 tests, and they are all online. He gives you the opportunity to add 10 extra points onto the top of your final grade. 5 of these points come from simply being at class on days he takes attendance.

Attendance not mandatory. A little effort will go a long way in this class. Will go over test questions days prior to test so make sure to attend those. Would definitely recommend anyone to take this class.

I LOVE HIM! He has taught me soo much and he is soo fun. Please take him. He loves his students. Only 4 tests, online, over a whole weekend. Everything on the test is taught in class. Highly Recommended!

Easy class, Online test. Funny, easy to listen to his story. Class is just hard to want to be in. it's just such a boring subject and a subject that wont get you anywhere in life. but his class was easy and boost my gpa, so i am happy i took him. lots of extra credit op. he has sign in days for extra points and days that he takes away points.

He is super easy! Attendance is not mandatory but sometimes he hands out a roll sheet for extra points. If you miss those, you lose a point, so you might as well go! All tests are taken online so it's not bad at all.

He has a very crazy personality! He does make class more interesting, though. No attendence policy beside sometimes offering an extra point or taking away a point. The tests are full of info., so be prepared. But they are also online, which is a lot easier!

The class is super easy, he gives TONS (i got +15 on my overall grade) of bonus points. I didn't really like him as teacher, he really annoyed me but whatever ,the class was super easy and I would recommend him over White

He is a phenomenal professor! He teaches in away that keeps you engaged. He makes you laugh & it's super easy to learn the concepts w him. Class isn't mandatory but go as much as possible it is so worth it! He may act like a goof ball but he is incredibly intelligent & passionate. I am definitely taking him again! This class was not at all what I expected. You learn about the anatomy of the brain and the first 1/3 of the semester is pretty boring if you're not into that kind of stuff. He tries to be really funny in lecture which can be okay at times but otherwise just takes up class time. He's a nice guy but it's just hard to get into his class sometimes.

This is the best professor I have ever had. Take this class for an A. 3 tests for the whole course, and each is easy. Just study your notes, and you will be fine. You can get up to 15 bonus points to your final grade for easy surveys and you will not struggle. He is funny, and there was never a dull moment in class. He is a very good teacher.

Super easy class if you just show up. He adds 5 points to your overall grade if your attendance is good. He makes his tests easy on purpose because he "doesn't be stressing out students". He's kind of odd, but sometimes it's funny. I highly recommend.

3 tests, all questions from the end of book chapter review. He no longer does online tests. Gives a ton of extra credit to the point where if you show up and do the online studies you can turn a 70 into a 90.

Dr. Lindsay is the best psych professor you can take!!! You can get 10+ bonus points to your AVERAGE by taking surveys for the psych dept. So you can definitely get the grade you want. Hes super entertaining, you take notes from lecture, and the tests are multiple choice and straight from the notes.

NO homework or quizzes. Just 3 tests but they are multiple choice and always straightforward and easy. Studied the night before and always made A's. He will even tell you what is on the test during lectures. always laugh at his jokes or he gets sad. such a fun and sweet professor. he will always keep the class interesting

No homework, no quizzes, no work outside of class. 3 exams. Get the notes from class, what he writes on the board will be on the test. Going to class earns you extra credit points. You can easily get whatever grade you want in this class. Take him.

Super easy class. The guy is crazy but fun. Attendance isn't mandatory but he gives extra credit on random days just for showing up that goes toward your final grade. (I got 4) Tests are a bit difficult but if you pay attention, take notes, and study, you should be fine. You will need scantrons for the tests. Sit in the front two rows if possible.

I love this professor! I would love to take another one of his classes. He makes class enjoyable. As someone who has him early in the morning, I didn't mind going to class because he is so funny. His tests are straight forward, if you read the chapters you should be fine. He is pretty straight forward on what is on the test and what isn't.

Lindsay is the best. Only grades in the class are three 50 question multiple choice exams, but they are super easy and straightforward. Attendance is not required, but he does do 5 random bonus days that add a point to your grade each time if you are there.

Only three 50 multiple choice test not accumulative. Gives plenty of bonus. Takes 6 bonus day and 6 points off days for attendance at random. Funny man and cares about his students. Some may not appreciate his humor.

He really cares about his students and is an actual therapist so he knows what he's talking about!

Dr Lindsay is a very eccentric professor, but if you're prepared for that this class is easy. Three tests make up your grade, and he takes attendance randomly throughout the semester for bonus points or credit removed from your grade. Don't bother buying the textbook unless you'll use it to study. Quizlets readily available for his tests.

Dr. Lindsay is my favorite professor by far. He is funny, caring and fair. His tests are straight forward and it is refreshing to take a test that isn't out to trick you. I highly recommend this class. He is a great person and a wonderful professor. Don't skip, attendance counts towards your bonus points and if you skip you get points off.

Dr. Lindsay is hilarious! and he makes learning fun. He provides many opportunities for bonus points and just showing up to class! There is a textbook in this class, but I didn't buy it, I found a free one online.
