I suck at math and this professor made it so fun for me! He gives you study guides for the tests and is just a real fun guy! I would definitely take another of his classes!

Good guy, nice, will teach at great length and is often boring. he gives you almost unlimited extentions on homework, which is checked before every test, which there is roughly 3. Easy, easy, easy class. wish i could have him again.

He was very easy...do your homework (and he gives you credit if wrong or partially done) and your groupwork (which you can redo and resubmit for full credit if you miss points) and tests are VERY easy. No attendance policy, but come to class for the test reviews and you will get an A.

He was a pretty good teacher, but his classes have loads of homework and groupwork. Very easy to deal with. He made a question wrong on the final exam and when I confronted him with it he gave me credit for it because I got it right.

This guys is the best professor I have ever taken. He will do all he can to help. He is very easy to understand and makes the class interesting. He is a must take.

I LOVE THIS GUY! He is so helpful and understanding! He wants everyone to do well! He will extend homework due dates (my math labs) if someone asks! He understands there are people out there who have jobs...or A LIFE...and he will do anything to help you succeed. Professor Malluck is so sweet!! He gives reviews the day before each exam, and the best part is that the review is almost identical to the test! He is pretty good at explaining things, but can occasionally be confusing. His class isn't the most interesting, but he is willing to help in any way possible. Homework is online.

He is one the best math professors here in KSU. I made an A in his Calc class. He drops your lowest test grade and the final replaces one of lowest grades, take him if you can.

um i went to class a total of about 10 times...i made an 88 which is a high B! tests come from examples in class and homework. and the online homework through Thinkwell is so easy you can just guess answers and they will give u the right ones and tha makes up 20% of your grade. drops your lowest test grade. easy A if u go to class

Take this class if you can. I came about 3 times in the semester and made a A in the course. Malluck is a very nice guy and will help you if you are struggling whatsoever. He wants people to learn and pass not fail.

Malluck is by far the best math teacher. If you are somewhat intelligent and understand math, it will be a breeze. However, if you are not math worthy you may get confused so I recommend this class to students who are someone intelligent to have an easy A in math.

Dr. Malluck is a very good math teacher, but he really cares. He tries very hard to help you understand. He is more than willing to tutor and will award you if he knows you are working hard. Overall a good/easy teacher.

Wonderful professor! Very helpful and flexible. He always reviews before every exam. If you come to class, do the homework you will do great. But if you show up for the exam reviews then you will ACE the exams. Answers questions through examples. He was so great in Precalculus that I rearrganged my work schedule to be in his Calculus class!

Malluck is, in a word, awesome. He is very clear about what he teaches and what he expects you to know. He reviews the class before every test, and only goes over exactly what is going to be on it. His lectures aren't the most stimulating, but they are understandable and to the point. TAKE HIM! Take Malluck for any classes you can. DO THE HW= A!

great! he makes me want to be a math professor. The first day he said "i don't take attendance, things happen." He's the most happy and carefree teacher i have met at ksu. He teaches great. If you stumble at math TAKE HIM. he goes over everything, and doesn't skip processes. this is my favorite class of all week. Online homework is great!

Great math teacher. He does not go off into tangents or wastes teaching time. His lectures are clear and full of examples. He answers all of our questions and gives extra time for tests or homework if you missed it. Attendance is not required. Very pleasant class to be in. Highly recommended.

Really easy. Never picked up the book. All the test are online except the midterm(11 questions) and the final. All the homework is online and have until the day of the next test to do it.

Dr. Malluck is not quite as easy as everyone says he is-- you do have to study consistently. Still, he is a really laid-back professor. He's great with homework deadlines and he's a lenient grader. He does a pretty good job with breaking down calc. and he makes it possible to end up with a good grade-- even if you hate math. Take him!

Excellent teacher. Makes an otherwise difficult subject easy to understand. Fair grading, gives partial credit wherever he can. You do not have to buy the book which is great for a typical poor college student. Would definitely recommend him!

Dr. Malluck is a very nice guy, extremely understanding. As far as teaching style all I can say is that I do not think I will take him for another calc course. I made an A so I cannot complain on his grading. If all you have to do is take calc I, he would be a good choice but if you need to continue with calc, I would seriously think about it.

Dr. Malluck is really laid back and wants you to understand calculus. He puts it into words you can understand and breaks it down into the simplest terms. I was really worried about taking this class, but I wound up making an A and was absolutely shocked. He's a lenient grader and will give partial credit where need be.

Awesome professor. Pretty straightforward classes. Go to class, learn something new, go home and get online to do homework, and take tests when they are scheduled. He does schedule tests during weekends however, which isn't that bad really as they fall on Friday midnight all the way to Monday 11:59pm. Also really helpful if you do need extra help

If you plan on taking Calc. 2, I do NOT advise you taking him. He puts the formulas on the board so memorization isn't needed. Final replaces lowest test grade & drops lowest quiz grade. Homework is all online and for me it was infinite amount of tries until you got it right. If the farthest you need to take in math is calc 1, go for it!

Dr. Malluck is the easiest teacher for calculus!! He breaks everything down for you. You are lucky if you take his class because he doesnt go much in depth, so i wouldnt take him if you are taking Calc2. His tests were kinda hard, but calc is a hard subject. Your not going to find an easier teacher than Malluck. :)

teaching is alright, not the best if youre going to take calculus 2. his tests were really easy. mathlab hw assignments were easy and an easy grade. hes a pretty cool monotone man.

Great instructor. Extremely knowledgeable and very helpful if you ask questions. However occasionally throws a question or 2 on tests that were not covered in class.

This class was so EASY! He explains things more than enough times. I never used the book, so don't buy it. You have endless tries on the homework, so it's easy to get a 100. His study guides are exactly like the test. Also, he doesn't care about attendance at all. Take this class; it's an easy A!

One of the best professors at KSU! He makes Calculus I easier than it seems. Does not use the (scary) textbook, and is very patient and helpful. Reviews continue even on test day. I liked that! Easy A if you attend class. Take him!

Not as easy as I expected after reading these reviews. Its not impossible, and you dont need the book, only MML. He explains everything very well and gives study guides but the tests are a bit trickier. He will answer questions during tests.

Professor Malluck is a chill and laidback professor. His practice tests are helpful and the actual tests are a little more difficult. He is clear on the material and there are infinite MML attempts. I managed to make an A even getting C's on two of the tests. Recommended for non-math majors

Easy A. Def recommend this class to non math majors. 6 tests and my math lab is used, unlimited amount of attempts. midterm and final can replace lowest test grade. Don't buy the book. You will never need to open it. He gives practice exams and will answer any questions before the test. Boring class, but was extremely easy.

Dr. Malluck was incredibly easy and helpful. Most of my class was only taking the class to meet the general education requirements, so he made the calculus very simple for all of us. If you are not a math person I highly recommend taking Dr. Malluck if you can. If you are a math person, I would look for a more challenging professor.

I was afraid of Calculus but dr. Malluck made it easy and in a way interesting, he teaches in a very simple way, so it's easy to understand. You will need MML for the homework and the tests are not that hard. He posts practice tests that are very helpful for the test. I highly recommend him.

He made Calculus, a hard class, enjoyable and was very helpful. I like the fact that he posted EVERY lecture and practice test online and went over them before the tests. He took a while to reply to my emails but other than that he was a great teacher if you don't plan on continuing with math. If you do, he's probably not the challenge you need.

Malluck is very clear and consice. The material is not overly difficult, and he is willing to answer any questions, no matter how repetitive or basic, that someone might have. His tests are not overly difficult and and he does a good job of addressing any issues that a student might have.

Best man to happen to MATH EVERRRR! His class is easy to follow, notes online. Do the HW, it will help your grade. Tests are fairly easy, not too much math, so its plenty of time to complete it. He made a scary subject flawless to understand. I would gladly take ANY math class he EVER teaches...yes, THAT good!

You learn everything you need to learn in a calculus class, but he makes it very approachable. Homework is very helpful and necessary if you want an A. Great professor and very helpful.

This guy is the best. All homework/notes is online (MathLab) and its due on the day of the test (11:59 pm). He gives you a study guide that is basically the test. He goes over the study guide with you. During the test he guides you to the right answer. You will have four test (including your final). Your final will replace your lowest test grade.

Best teacher to take Calculus I with. Just do the homework and go through the practice tests he gives you. The real test is exactly the same as the practice just with different numbers and names.

He's a pretty good teacher. The lectures are long and boring, but attendance is not mandatory. He is always helpful in answering questions. Also, he drops the lowest grade from the first 3 tests.

Great professor. Average class was "Go over homework problems, discuss new topic, 10 minute break, continue with examples". Attendance was not mandatory, but highly encouraged as he goes into depth with any problem or concept that you need. Created study guides for each test that was in the exact same format just with different numbers.

Nothing about him is bad. He is clear with his expectations and will even help you... during the tests. If you ask him how to do it, he'll show you right there. It made calculus then easy, but I do not think it prepared me well for the next course. But he's a good guy. (He does not always button his shirt and you will see his hairy belly often.)

Study guides are just like tests and homework is easy. He is not an extra credit person so do well with what you have.

Best calculus teacher there is! He is very clear in his teaching and is always willing to help. If a student doesn't know how to do a problem, he will go back and explain. Gives study guides for all 4 tests, but the test questions are harder than the ones on the study guide. There is homework for each section, but it's very manageable. Take him!!!

Never had calculus 1 in high school, and he made this entire subject as easy as possible, and I actually learned how to apply everything, not just take tests and get an A. He gives practice tests and good homework. If you show up, do the 6 homework probs for each section you will ace the tests. math is not my strong suit and hes best math prof ever

Calculus is hard. This guy made it a lot easier. There is homework but he spends the first half of class going over it. Tests are generally a little tough, but as long as you do you homework and/or study you will be fine. Clear teaching methods. Takes the time to explain and answer questions. Attendance only required for tests.

This professor is by far the best math professor I have ever had. I took his two hour long Calculus I lecture. The first 45 minutes he reviews homework problems along with general questions/concerns. The next 5 minutes are a break. For the rest of the hour left, he teaches concepts and does examples. The most efficient professor, EXTREMELY helpful!

He gives extra credit on every test, homework is mandatory but gives great feedback on the homework as well as extra problems to work and solutions for when you need more practice. Also, he is available most times during the day so he is easy to meet with.

Attendance isn't mandatory but each class is very informative. A good amount of homework on WebAssign but all of it is due on the test day, and it helps you master the material.

Good professor, nice... not really challenging. He is very thorough and gives lots of examples. Study guides are exactly like the test: change a few numbers, maybe make a few problems a tad harder. Easy A if you do the minimal online hw and study a little. I was not challenged so I probably won't take him, but if you want an easy class, take him.

4 tests the whole semester. Lots of webassign homework. He teaches at a comfortable pace and will answer questions. 2nd test is right at add/drop without penalty so you gotta be committed at that point. Easy if you've already done Calc 2 stuff. If not, you may find the subject to be hard but the professor very helpful. I would recommend him 100%.

Malluck is awesome, but Calc 2 is a class where you have to work really hard to get a good grade. The first two units are easy compared to the third, however there is a final which can replace your lowest test grade. Even though attendance is not mandatory, coming to class helps as he teaches everything without using the book.

Prof. Malluck is amazing. I got 100 in the first two test and 96 in my third test. His class is much easier than my honor pre calculus in high school. His homework is not bad at all. He always available in his office hours. He wrote the formula on the board on the test day.

Homework are on webassign and harder than exams. So practice those and you're pretty much going to pass the class. 4 exams, and the final exam only helps you by replacing a failing grade. He also goes over the homework in class, so I recommend you attend.

Context - freshman who got a 5 on AB Calc and exempted calc 1. I skipped so much of this class- mistake- but on his tests he literally attaches a theoretical formula sheet; he really wants you to pass. Very nice guy, literally does the webassign homework in class for you. (hw also has unlimited attempts and will give the answer, free 100 pts)

Professor John is the goat. His class grading is 3 tests worth 100 points each and hw worth 100 points. He gives all the hw answers which is basically a free 100 points. Take his class for calc 2, your gpa will thank you

He is hands down the best calculus professor, took him for calc 1 and 2. His test are basically very passable if you pay attention to the lectures, study guide, and keep up with the homework in a timely manor.

One of the best professors i've taken. Doesn't use webassign, has a question pool for most tests. Optional final, can be used to replace lowest test grade.

Show up to class everyday and do the homework for an easy A. 3 tests and an optional final. My favorite professor so far. A lot of people dropped out or failed an exam so that should tell you that you need to work hard.

Prof. Malluck was the first math professor I've had and he's great. He's a retired engineer so he really explained things in a way that made sense to me. There were 4 tests and homework which he gives you the answers to. The tests are the exact same as the practice exam but with different numbers. (5x instead of 3x etc.) Take him, you'll love it.

Really cool dude, had the option to skip the final If you made an A in the class. All you have to do is complete the hw on Aleks and just show up to class and do the worksheet and its an easy A. The test are usually just old hw question so if you do the hw the test are a breeze.

A great guy and teacher--his lectures make a difficult subject a lot easier to understand, and he takes the time to work through anything a student is struggling with. His practice tests are great and are close to the actual exam, plus he will write important equations on the board to use during the test. Dude just wants you to understand and pass.
