He's awesome i loved him daily quizes make it almost impoosible to fail..grades quizzes sort of hard but as for the final he grades soft he's a sweet man

John is a good guy, he likes what he does and cares. But that means you should care too. His courses are usually no joke. I went for extra help many times. Maybe I got on his good side, not a bad tactic. He's the MAN. His famous line: it is what it is.

Easy class, guy has a few screws loose, quiz every day, but if you ask he helps a lot, just show up everyday and pay attention- easy A

Overall, he is a nice guy.Everyone complains about the everyday test policy but in the end it actually helps the students. He also comes around during tests and helps kids out. Good guy!!

Good guy and helpful. quizzes every day but that is the reason i didnt fail, did good on later quizes and got a B. "If it looks easy, its because it is", and of course "it is what it is"

i think he is the best math professor out there, he is always available for help and the quiz we do everyday helps you prepare for the finals and the finals was the easiest test so i guess the quiz was very useful.

Great guy and a good teacher. Daily quizzes can get rough if you don't prepare for them. No midterm. He is helpful if you ask questions and is available outside of class as well. Make sure you know the material and you should do ok.

Not his fault for hard test, but he does his best to prepare students for them, by giving them quizes once in a blue moon that dont count, and making sure everyone participates. Kinda like HS.

Quizzes everyday but if you do the homework they're easy; they raise your grade and prepare you for the midterm and final. He teaches the material, lets class out early, and is willing to help outside of the class.

You will get out of this class what you put into it, the material can be confusing but if you pay attention, you'll get it. If not, then he's really good at one on one meetings to clarify ... BUT attendance is a ****. If you are one to be late or skip classes, DO NO TAKE HIM. And I don't suggest taking this class early, you may fall asleep.

He gives a quiz every class but that makes it easier to get a good grade. Pay attention in class and go to office hours to get on his good side. After that you'll be fine. If you dont understand something make sure you let him know!

Quiz everyday if you miss you get a zero attendance mandatory and if youre late youre absent and if youre on time youre late cause he takes attendance 10 minutes before actual start time awesome at teaching though hate/suck at math and I got a B but the ?'s he asks on quizzes are 10 times harder than the examples he gives in class so study

Professor Mincapelli is the sweetest guy! He helped me out so much. I was nervous and I went to for him help and he really steered me in the right direction. Very kindhearted. He wants to see you succeed. I would recommend him!

I agree that Professor Mincapelli is a good professor. Attend class. Quiz everyday. Meet with him afterwards if u still dont get the material, he is more than willing to help you with anything. Its not an exciting class obviously- its math! but with this prof, just put in, at least SOME effort, and things will turn in ur favor. He wants u 2 do well

hes not so terrible. he is a perfectionist no doubt but it helps you stay in check all semester long. Daily quizzes are annoying but totally helpful. take him, but know you have to go to class and do the work. you will be fine.

Minacapelli is so nice!! Attendance is mandatory, but the coursework is really straightforward and he gives you several opportunities in class to clarify the material. Plus, there's extra credit on everything. He honestly does want all of his students to do well.

Truly the best professor I had so far at Seton Hall. He is so sweet and wants his students to do well! The information is easy and students really understand it with daily quizzes. Attendance is mandatory but he gives 5 EXTRA points added onto your grade for showing up every class on time! A really great professor! Taking him again next semester!

Best teacher I've ever had at Seton Hall. He is extremely helpful and will give you a good grade if you try. He's easy to get along with, too. Loved him and his class! The material was hard but he really gets you through it.

Such a great guy! If you need any help, he is always there! Definitely take him for developmental math, easy pass! Just keep up with the assignments, if you miss one he is very understanding but do not take his kindness for granted! Would take him again for another course.

Good Developmental Math Professor, all coursework & grading done online, but will award partial credit points for test & quizzes. Will help in class with coursework except the final, easy to email to ask a question, cares about students.

Such a great guy, kind of reminds me of my grandpa. He is a kind man who is genuinely concerned with how you do in the class. Will extend deadlines if you don't understand chapter. The only negative about the guy are his office hours. Great professor and guy, definitely recommend him.

This guy is just a really weird dude. Funny in this random kind of way. Easy to understand if you just pay attention. If you do all the journals which are just 1 page and know the formulas for each question isnt hard to get at least a B. He let me use my phone as a calculator making it easy to cheat on tests and quizzes as well. This guy is a boss

Hes a really nice guy but he can be very tough at times, he tires to help as much as he can but he's not scared to give anyone an F or credit, not tests but daily quizzes which are simple ! Just do your work and you will be fine.

Developmental Math with this guy was a joke! We sat at the computers for an hour and fifteen minutes and did homework. Tests are a joke! Just don't fall behind.

He gives quizzes every day that reflect on his lectures which help your grade. He gives easy projects and short online homework which is completely different than is lectures. But overall, if you're good at math you dont need to do much studying.

LOVED him! I can see why he has iffy reviews because there is a quiz administered at the beginning of each class because he always makes sure all of his students master the content. He is the sweetest old man and honestly one of the greatest professors I've ever had here. Gives extra credit for perfect attendance... just show up and try your best!

I would recommend Professor Minacapelli to anyone because he is so passionate and dedicated to his profession. He is always willing to help if you show that you are truly interested. He is very clear and concise when explaining the material. He is by far the best teacher I have ever had for any math class because he truly believes in you. Take Him!

Best professor I've had so far. He is extremely nice and helpful. Short quizzes almost everyday and a journal due every other week or so. The quizzes and journals combined with the lectures make all the material really clear so the class is easy. If you come to every class he adds 5 points to your final grade. Such a sweet man.
